The hot tub was \"being serviced\" and look like it had not been in commission in a while.
I had the room next to the lobby. The attendant had her entire family husband (who smoked in the lobby), sister (who may be a maid) and two toddlers, sitting there for 6 hours having loud conversation, laughing yelling at the kids, etc. both days I was there. I went to bed early and had to turn on white noise to sleep. I think they live there as sister showed up in a robe and they had a hibachi outside the main entrance.
When I came in the maids were chatting, laughing and loudly swearing. The room I was given had the door propped open, the linen not changed and the TV on as did most of the other rooms on that floor. Just yikes!

Desk staff didnt seem to know what they were doing during check in and check out. When we got to our room, the heat register was broken and there was mold all over in the bathroom. In the morning at breakfast, there was no syrup for the waffles and not even a tool to take the waffle out of the iron. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Im glad i only booked for one night..

The room was clean. But when im checking into a hotel, i dont want to compete with the desk clerks kids or grandkids. Ridiculous. The place is a dump. All security , on the entry /exit doors , were ripped out of the door frames. Wires sticking out. Abandoned looking vehicles parked . The pool/hot tub area was not open at all. Nothing was mentioned in listing. I will never stay at any Super 8 Wyndamm again. I will spend the extra for clean maintained hotels . Where the staff isnt occupied constantly with several kids. And where there arent questionable ppl or vehicles.Do yourself a favor and spend the extra ta stay elsewhere.

Adequate room for what I needed :a place to sleep. Had a slight delay with my checkin: Computers had “shutdown” and staff (2ppl) had a few hiccups trying to log in. It was after 10pm so I was surprised there was more than one person avail to get system up. Bed linens appeared clean but dated (dust ruffle dragging messily on floor). Towels were good quality. Breakfast was basic, not much in dairy fridge: one yogurt and some milk. Cold cereal, make your own waffles, toast, limited fruit. Coffee was subpar: it’s the same company that the local Choice property uses and I don’t like it, tastes muddy. Decor is somewhat dated but staff keeps it looking nice. Room was clean but AC smelled musty when running. Morning staff was on point and helpful.

The hotel has a run down and grubby appearance. There was no one to check us in and we waited then staff appeared with another guest they had to help first. All said it was about 10 minutes wait, also the guest was cancelling their reservation. I thought about trying to cancel too because it was apparent this is a poorly kept hotel. The whirlpool was closed, there was a stagnant gross smell in the hallway, we were checked in and then informed, oh the rooms are in the 2nd floor but there is no elevator. That should be shared first in case someone isn’t going to be able to drag suitcases up a flight of stairs. This trip was a birthday celebration for my daughter and I regret booking this hotel as it was a downer.

The room was quiet but upon arrival someone was in the parking lot burning a fire right outside our room. Yes, a wooden log on his truck was burning. We did address with the front desk but they advised he lived there and was dating an employee. The shower was backing up so water was up to the ankles. The hot tub was a nice touch. The room has a very musty odor. I think it’s the carpeting or maybe there is leaking under the hot tub. The window is old and the temp was hard to regulate. The heat made this room more musty. The blankets were thin but we did request two more for a little warmth and weight which they did accommodate although the front desk said they would have to check if there were any extra. The pool onsite was also out of order. We brought drinks and the refrigerator was so cold it froze everything we had. The bed was and pillows were comfy. Overall, a decent place for the evening but check around the area before you decide on this particular location. We’ll never return to a Super 8.

woke up at 2am to water leak from the toilet. Used towels to clean up the water and shut off the water supply to stop the leaking. Told the front desk the next morning. We were not given any new, clean towels to replace the ones we used to sop up the mess. It would have been appreciated if Super 8 would have comped the 2nd night for our inconvenience but they wouldn't do that. Not getting clean towels was the nail in the coffin. Would not go there again.

I actually took pictures of filithy carpet and looked like vomit on the mattress that was showing as covers not big enough. We will not be staying there again. Also toilet seats MOVED and so low very hard to get up. I’ve had two knee surgeries on the same knee and very painful yet bending that low.

The place is very old and run down. The furnature is vey scratched up and old. The microwave wouldnt open so i had to leave my food in there all night until for some reason it finally opend the next morning. Bed was clean but very uncomfortable and pillows gave me a really bad tensions headache.The only saving grace was the jet bathtub that was great.

This motel is disgusting. It has zero to offer except the location to the near by attractions. The motel and specially the rooms are DIRTY and out dated. It smells like cigarettes. The outside area is filled with trash. Definitely one of the worse places I have stay at. Never again at this place.

The place was a little rundown. The carpet in the room definitely needed replacing was disappointed that there was no elevator my 84 year-old mother had a hard time doing the stairs. Didn’t realize when we booked. We should have asked for a handicap room or main floor could not switch because they had nothing available The staff was friendly, but there was no air conditioner in the halls, which made it smelly. They stressed, no smoking, which none of us smoke but the place smelled like cigarette smoke.

The refrigerator wasn’t turned on when I arrived and had defrosted, and there was a puddle of water inside the refrigerator. I went to the front desk, told the receptionist, he came to my room, told me that housekeeping had defrosted it, splashed his had in the water, told me it would now get cold and left the room. I had to soak up the water myself. The refrigerator didn’t get cold because the power strip was turned off. I turned on the power strip myself. A pillow case had what appeared to be blood stains on it. Will not go there again.

The front desk person was very professional, helpful, and nice. From there, things went downhill fast. The carpets in the hallway and room were recent, but had not been cleaned (or even vacuumed) recently. The vanity and sink in the room had been recently replaced, and were nice, but the walls in toilet and shower room had rot in multiple places that were unrepaired and the fixtures and lighting was old and dated. The blankets on the beds were newer (like in the pictures) but had stains and looks like they hadn’t been cleaned. Same with the upholstery on the one chair in the room. Sheets and pillow cases seemed freshly cleaned. A/C was strong and worked well.

There was no one available at the front desk and when they did show up, he/she was not very friendly. The light in the bathroom did not work nor did the TV remote control. Another employee, who was very nice, did try to correct the problem but was unable to do so. We had to move to a different room. The employee said it was an upgrade due to the king size bed.

The property was dirty, poorly maintained, garbage and weeds all over the parking lot. The bed was rock hard and I could not sleep on it. The mirror and frig door had finger prints all over it. The lounge chair in the room was stained with, it looked like body fluids!!!!!The hallways and stairway were dirty, chipped wood and paint all over. The dresser had broken drawers on it that would not close!!!
The manager just shook her head and laughed when I was telling her about my stay😡😡. I will never stay in another Super 8 again!!!

Safe didn't work. Room was not very clean and it smelled like cigarettes. Had to fix freezer door. Bathtub leaks. Toilet was not clean. Mold around caulking and mold in air conditioner filters. Staff was very friendly and very nice to my dog. It was a little sketchy as far as some of the other guests. They must have people renting there long term. The police were there once for some kind of dispute. Vending machines app didn't work ..side door entry card swipe didn't work. And staff did not know how to get the fire TV to allow streaming on apps. I checked out online and was given the option to check out at noon, but then the front desk called me at a bit after eleven and explained to me that I was supposed to leave at 11, even tho I was given the choice of noon online so I had to rush out of there unexpectedly as I was not ready.

Two days, checked in Friday, asked to sign confirming we would not smoke in the room; room next door was smoking, smelled it in the hallway and in the room.

Woke up Sat, no electricity; back late, no one checked the room/smoke detectors/clocks, beds not made etc. Called front desk about smoking and housekeeping, told they only had housekeeping 3 days per week; not told this when we checked in.

Fridge, coffee maker, lamps all plugged into a serge protector visible in the room, looked dangerous. Nothing said to use about no power...very unsafe and staff on Saturday was rude and did not care.

Filed complaint with Windam; received an email but nothing else...won't be staying with this company again...beware.

One of the worst motels I've ever experienced.

This hotel we have been staying in, our room hasn't been cleaned and their policy says they dont clean stayover rooms in 3 days. The halls smell like cigarettes and other form of drugs. The doors to this place aren't secured at all. (They have duck tape on the doors for easy access) Today, (Saturday) the front desk lady at 3pm took forever to answer the frontdesk. She was outside having a cigarette. I went down to ask why our room wasn't cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned. Apparently they don't do stay overs since COVID, I said excuse me, that's disgusting. I want our room cleaned. She said Oh well, housekeeping was done for the day. I went up to my room and told my husband to deal with this because the front desk lady said oh well. (The lady with the blond hair was so sweet to us and gave us what we needed for our stay.) That's our policy. My husband got us cleaned towels. I will want some Compensation back from this place. This is ridiculous and rude management. We won't be coming back Here ever again. Today Sunday the desk lady didnt ask how was our stay and didnt have any communication with me.

We pulled up and the lady at the desk was sitting on the curb with another lady smoking. She said she’s on her way in. Got inside and someone was waiting for clean towels and to take out the garbage in his room! He ended up doing it himself and just needed garbage bags!
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and nice. The room was ok and beds were comfortable. Their continental breakfast wasn’t good. Didn’t even have a toaster for toast. Not a lot to choose from.
We would not stay here again.

Front desk staff was very accommodating! Be sure to request a pet free room if you don’t like pet hair, etc.. pets are allowed here and all rooms have carpet. We asked for an upper room that was pet free and we were fine.,breakfast was fine for a super 8, packaged oatmeal, apples, oranges, juices.pastries in package… bathroom caulking could be improved but we didn’t expect much based on the ratings and past reviews. However, front desk staff was excellent and that’s hard to find these days!!

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was TERRIBLE. The day staff was unprofessional and not hospitable at all. The staff and TV in the breakfast area was so loud I took my coffee and book to my car. The breakfast was very minimal which was expected for a Super 8, but I went down to the breakfast area and an hour later my daughter went down and nothing had been replenished. Then the day staff was complaining about the request that I put on the Expedia reservation for a roll away bed. She said that she could not believe we put that request since we had four people in a two queen size room. My daughter told her that it was our room and we never got the roll away. She should not have questioned my request. The reason for my request was that my 14 year old grandson was in our room and he should not have to sleep with his Grandma, aunt or Mom. Then when we left my daughter dropped off the key at the front desk, waited for staff to acknowledge that we were checking out and the desk staff asked if she needed anything. We all agreed we would NEVER stay in this $*#@hole again!

If all you're looking for is a good clean place to stay, this Super 8 is alright. Bed is a bit lacking but for a few nights it was comfortable enough.
The furniture is servicable but definitely been bumped around. I definately just need a place to sleep, not to impress and this place was just fine. Nice and quiet too. No loud street traffic.
The shower was great, good water pressure, nice shower head. Cant tell you about the pillows, I bring my own. A/C worked good.
Nice cafe to eat at , easy to walk to, on the corner.
Jacuzzi was closed first few days, but did open . We did enjoy it.
We didnt use the fitness room, nor did we have their breakfast.
Desk clerk, Marsha offered suggestions on local dining, which was really nice and we did enjoy eating at :
Bobs Bitchin BBQ,
Dino's Bar & Grill,
Ope Haus in Barneveld,
and the Cafe on the corner from the motel.

The folks that ran the hotel were warm and friendly. They made us feel like home. The hotel is in bad need of updating.

Property was listed as having breakfast. Breakfast consisted of a few snack bars, a few bananas and a couple of bags of instant oatmeal. This is not my idea of breakfast…, it was a joke! I’ll never stay at this property again!
