Overall, it feels like the brand of Best Western has gone into such a deep cost saving (penny pinching) mode that the overall experience has really suffered. Better to spend an extra $20 per day at a Hilton or Hampton Inn for an overall better and more enjoyable stay.

Love the property and have stayed there many times over the past 25 years or so. Two complaints regarding this stay were related to the mattress in the room and the included breakfast. The mattress needs to be replaced; it was low in the middle and resulted in rolling into the centre which unfortunately resulted in a poor sleep. The breakfast was not good; food cold.

the staff was good but the issue we had was with the swarm 100s of ants that came from somewhere either the trim or sink and were trying to get into the fridge which contained our left overs, amazingly last time i stayed in the somewhat next to it the same thing happened so not like its a one time occurrence. i travel to brantford a lot thru out the winter for bowling tournaments. so putting ant traps out behind the fridge doesn't solve the problem just makes it look like you tried at least

We were in the newer, and quiet zone during a hockey tournament, so that was nice. Although we were in the wrong room, expedia pulled through on customer service after some push back on our end. But, other family however was in older section, low # rooms. Their beds were hard, and their patio door didnt close correctly, being winter, cold air was coming in. Room was dated and unclean, the heater was super loud and had a smell and didn’t regulate the room well, sliding doors were not sealed and let in lots of cold, bathroom shower curtain had hair on it from other guests, not able to connect to applications on the tv for Netflix or anything. The gym was unacceptable - broken equipment, TV’s didn’t work, no water station. We weren’t allowed to take hot breakfast to our room for our son who wasn’t feeling well, only paper plates and plastic utensils - not acceptable. Not a pleasant stay. Wouldn’t come back unless all this was changed.

we were in town for a family event and stayed at the property for 1 night. we picked the hotel because of the family friendly room. Our check in process was very good and the team at the front desk was quick, very polite, and helped us out with the best parking location (based on our room) and laying out the amenities of the property. Later that evening we needed some help from the front desk and even though it wasnt a typical request, the front desk team went above and beyond and made sure to help us out. All of the people who worked there (that we talked with) displayed excellent customer service and seemed genuinely concerned with making sure we were taken care of.

We knew this was an older hotel when we booked. It has been renovated and is very clean. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small and you had to manouver a bit to close the door. Breakfast was good, a choice of four options. It was served quickly but very efficient and friendly staff. There is road construction very near, but it should be done soon. Otherwise this is a quiet area, close to shopping, restaurants and the highway. Would definitely stay here again.
