We have been surprised by the poor level of service of this hotel. It's rated 4 stars we paid more than 160 euros by night but they were several issues.
The restaurant was quite often complete, we were not informed in advance. We made the queue to be then informed that it was complete. Hopefully for the breakfasts we took it during the booking. Nevertheless , we had to wait minimum 30 minutes to get in. The servers were overwhelmed. Inside a lot of products were not renewed.
We already waited 45 minutes for the check in on day 1.
We went to the spas to get a massage for 1h30. The music was not functioning (system broken and no maintenance). We can hear the voice of the men on charge of the swimming pool welcoming all people from the hotel. Not a place to relax. The massage in itself was not pro. For a cost of almost 90 euros by person, and we took two (for the couple, one after the other), it's way to expensive for such poor quality.
The tv was broken, internet too and hot water during one morning.everything was fixed after an alert at the reception desk despite internet failure.
Some good things though: great place and view on the mountains, big beds very comforting, nice hotel infrastructure,good chef cooling eggs in the kitchen for breakfast.

Epic Views and Service

A great place to stay with epic views and easy access to the town with places to eat, drink and relax. Excellent breakfast selection, indoor pool was a little small when busy but the option to use the outdoor town pool is a great option in warm weather.

Something must be right with the director/management because this staff was one of the best I've seen in a hotel - attitude, service, helpfulness - congratulations to the director for obviously doing a great job. Waiters in bar and restaurant were outstanding.

Stunning views

Stunning views from this hotel! Breakfast was good but not outstanding. I'm guessing it's due to covid restrictions but they do require you to make a reservation for breakfast for a specific time. It's at the very top of Formigal, and a bit of a hike down into town where the restaurant, shops and outdoor pool are.

Amazing !

Lives up to the 4 stars, and its located in northern spains most amazing scenery. Just on the border of france. The experience in this hotel was so good, that i felt kinda sad we only spendt one night. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was both professional and plesant. Alltho this might be considered a winter resort, it sure shines well during the summertime. Will definatly come back, and spend a few nights. 10 out of 10

A fantastic hotel with beautiful scenery. The evening meal buffet and breakfast were superb as well as the staff. The room we had was on the top floor and was a bit hot as it was summer and no air con and left the window open all night but it was ok. My only complaint was that if you wanted to use the pool you had to wear a hat!! And flip flops around the pool which you had to buy if you did not have any. I have never come across this before and was certainly not going to buy hats and flip flops for the family to go swimming for 1 day but apart from that what a wonderful place

Escogí este hotel pq tenía piscina interior pero estuvo averiada durante todos los días de estancia...nos propusieron ir a la piscina municipal, aunque es una alternativa no compensa (andar y mucho sol). Hubiera esperado otra compensación. Y sobre todo, un aviso con antelación. Se contratan unos servicios que son los que se esperan.

El peor 4 estrellas que jamás visité

El hotel tiene muchas carencias y no tiene el nivel de 4 estrellas. La cantidad de personal es deficiente y carecen de la experiencia que requiere un hotel de 4 estrellas. El bufé de desayuno con largas colas, camareros saturados y montando mesas en la recepción al tener más personas alojadas que personal para poder atender. El spa carece de la higiene oportuna y desprende un olor nauseabundo.

Chambre mal isolée phoniquement, on participe à la TV du voisin ou à ses ébats amoureux...

Pragtfuld udsigt

Et rigtig dejligt hotel, med en vidunderlig beliggenhed, hvis man er til vandring i bjergene.
Stort rummeligt værelse, lækker morgenmadsbuffet med omeletstation, mange opholdsområder med udsigt, fin pool, dog først åben fra kl.16, fitness først åbent fra kl. 11, småt men brugbart.
Eneste minus er at der ikke er aircondition, der bliver altså varmt om sommeren.

grand complexe hotelier de ski malheureusement en été c est relache on met tous le monde sur le meme etage pour faire des economie ...certe mais au detriment du confort des autres clients qui viennent se reposer et c est du bruit toute la nuit famille avec enfants bruyants ....
ayant reserve une grande chambre avec un grand lit je me suis retouve dans une grande chambre mansarde pour seule vue un velux et le ciel !!! dommage pour la vue et le balcon convoité ....il me fallait choisir ou l un ou l autre
petit dejeuner jusqu a 10H00 c est dommage surtout qu il n assure pas de service repas du midi
le repas du soir est la forfait a 21 EURO SANS BOISSON entrée crudités \" plats chauds poulets poissons sans saveurs et desserts simplissime
dommage pour terminer la journée !!

Todo bien, hotel bonito y moderno. Spa pequeñito pero tranquilo. Desayuno buena calidad, pero bastante caos y faltaba reponer producto. Aconsejo no cenar en cafeteria, mal servicio y comida regular tirando a mal.

Avis mitigé car lorsqu'on arrive, l'hôtel est magnifique, avec un hall d'accueil luxueux. Par contre, la chambre familiale mansardée semble être d'une toute autre époque. L'insonorisation est inexistante. Heureusement qu'il s'agit de clientèle familiale qui se couche tôt.
