The staff was nice and accommodating. The bed was clean and comfortable but the bathroom not up to standard. The hotel is not close to the city center but easy to reach with the Strassenbahn if you don’t want to take your car.

Convenient, cute theme!

Super convenient to the highway, the rooms had a really well-done old Hollywood theme, and were comfortable. The internet was a tad slow, and there was only one free outlet near the bed and none by the desk. And I had to pay for parking, which was a surprise since it was on the edge of town. But those are small things. Given the great price: 8/10, I’d stay here again.

One night stay on the road, the interior is wonderful, old Hollywood, just pretty we did eat in hotel restaurant food is really good, breakfast good buts are a few new stuff has a lot to learn, a few dark hair in the shower and bathroom ( I’m blond 😉), I don’t wanna be picking now but to be perfect are some little improvements needed

Hotel is in suburbs. Although you can park for \"free\", it is street parking in the suburbs. Hotel is charging 10€ overnight garage. Sauna is not working on Sundays. Breakfast very good. Room spacious and clean.

Very pleasant. The hotel is well run. Everything seems clean and efficient.

The room prices are cheap but the add ons add up. Putting a car in the car park is €10 per night. I think breakfast is €15.

The WiFi is fast.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was very good and again the service was good.
My hotel room was clean and very spacious with a dual aspect view. Unfortunately the ceiling fan wasn’t a very good replacement for air conditioning. It was a very hot night and the only bedding a heavy duvet cover with no option of a sheet.
The Breakfast selection the next day was very good with a large choice of fruit, breads, cereals and cooked buffet options

A nice standard business hotel - well run, clean and efficient.

The rates are very good value. The WiFi is free but the other extras are a little expensive; €14 for breakfast, €10/24 hours for parking.

The room card and photo id allows guests to use the Jena trams for free.

The hotel backs on to the Saale River - the path along the river leads to Jena in one direction and the countryside in the other.

Close to the transit line, good food/bar.

Good value, convenient to transit so great when you're doing business in that end of town. There is a small grocery a few doors down if you want something quick or simple. Good full breakfast, and the restuarant had plenty of nice choices at usual hotel prices. They do have ceiling fans (mine was pretty noisy), but I haven't seen A/C in two different rooms so it might not be as comfortable as desired on one of the rare warmer nights of the year.

It is a Good hotel. Parking is very expensive at 10 euro a night.
Enjoyed the breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable.
I was allowed to check in early which is a plus.
Only problem was the treadmill wasn’t working in the gym and somehow they didn’t have drinking water in the gym.

An excellent hotel

The hotel is comfortable and well run. The staff are friendly and very courteous. The only strange thing was that the restaurant was closed for two of the three days we were at the hotel, although it was open for breakfast each day (€13).

The car park, which is spacious, was €10/night. The room card, together with photo id, is accepted as a ticket on local buses and trams. There is a tram stop a short walk away from the hotel.

Good value even if Wi-Fi isn't perfect

The restaurant was really good, both for dinner and for breakfast. It was close to the tram which was very convenient for getting into the center of town. The wifi was not optimal. It was either really fast or ground to a halt. The evening was the most problematic. Overall, it was a good stay.

Did not have any 120 receptacles for charging or using computers. Did not have any receptacle adapters that could be rented or purchased. had to go down the street to a restaurant just to charge mobile phone. People at desk acted as though that was not a big deal.

Gymmet hade både spinning och löpband, flera av varje, och trampmaskiner, men endast en styrketräningsmaskin med en enda jättetungt vikt. Papper och rengöringsvätska saknades helt i båda gym-lokalerna. Behållare fanns till både papper och vätska men alltså helt tomma.

Es ist für ein paar Tage in Ordnung.
Check in und Check out zügig und problemlos.
Betten sind auch in Ordnung. Im Zimmer ist es auf den ersten Blick soweit sauber. Auf den zweiten Blick sieht man dann doch die kleinen Mängel, über die schon mehrere berichtet haben. Etwas Dreck in der Dusche, die Toilette fürchterlich verfärbt, Flecken auf den Teppichböden und auch an den Wänden und in der Minibar. Ich war auch etwas verwundert über die Frage, ob ich jeden Tag RoomService möchte. Das gehört für mich tatsächlich dazu. Eine schöne Idee wäre hier eine Auswahlmöglichkeit, ob großer oder kleiner RoomService oder gar keinen anzubieten. Mir muss niemand hinterherputzen, aber ich hätte doch ganz gern die Mülleimer geleert und Habdtücher gewechselt. Da es nur ganz oder gar nicht gibt, dann bitte jeden Tag alles.
Ansonsten war es im Zimmer ruhig, Frühstück war in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich.
Ich würde wiederkommen.

Ich fahre eigentlich mind. 1x im Jahr ins Maxx Hotel in Jena. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, aber zurückhaltend, die Zimmer sauber, allerdings nur oberflächlich. Bei der Toilette musste ich schon oft nachputzen, dieses Mal gab es hier nichts zu meckern. Ich nehme immer die Junior Suite, weil ich dort viel Platz habe (ca. 40m²). An einem Abend waren wir in der Bar, der Kellner war nicht sonderlich freundlich, aber er brachte mir was ich bestellte, daher war das an sich auch ok. Ich habe noch nie laute Nachbarn gehabt, oder sonstige negative Ereignisse, daher komme ich immer wieder gern ins Maxx Hotel.
Die Tiefgarage ist auch toll. Manches Hotel hat ja nur einen kleinen Parkplatz.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut nur das personal hat die gebrauchten Teller nicht abgeräumt.Im Zimmer war die Duschwand Schimmlig. Die Kaffekapseln wurden nicht aufgefüllt, aber der Mülleimer wurde geleert. Wir hatten zwei Jacke im Zimmer vergessen wir wurden nicht benachrichtigt wir hatten dann nachgefragt da hatten sie die Jacken gefunden und uns erklärt das die Gäste nicht informiert werden und was liegenbleibt nach 3 Wochen weggeschmisser wird. Bei der Rückfahrt haben wir bei Hotel Maxx gehalten und wolten die Jacken abholen wir hatten es angemeldet. Es dauerte eine Stunde bis wir weiter Fahren konnten. Na Ja wir sind öfters unterwegs aber Maxx haben wir enteuschend gefunden

Der Empfang und die Servicemitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam Gute Parkmöglichkeit mit einer Wallbox. Frühstück umfangreich und lecker.

Das Zimmer war schon was in die Jahre gekommen. Die Fitnessgeräte leider nicht wie in den Bildern dargestellt.

Die Zimmer sind relativ alt inkl. altem Teppichboden. Aber es ist alles sauber. Das Personal ist auch sehr nett.
Obwohl ich alle Heizungen aus hatte und auch gelüftet hatte wurde es über Nacht sehr heiß und stickig..
Den Zimmern inkl. Bad würde eine Renovierung sehr gut tun. Frühstück ist absolut okay, Abendessen war gut und auch hier wieder sehr freundliches Personal

War positiv überrascht aufgrund der Groesse des Hotels beim ersten Anblick denkt man, oje eine riesige Burg aber es war eigentlich ganz angenehm. Der Sportbereich kommt etwas lieblos daher die Geräteauswahl ist etwas eigenwillig so wie der Zustand des ein oder anderen Gerätes.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus. Dennoch sehr gemütlich.
Bettwäsche und Handtücher hervorragend, bei der Sauberkeit ist noch Luft nach oben. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht wie auf den Bildern angegeben. Statt einem renovierten Zimmer hatten wir ein Zimmer im schlechten 90er Jahre Stil. Auch die Sauberkeit (v.a. Spinnenweben) ließ zu Wünschen übrig.

Ganz gut aber nicht reinlich

Im großen und Ganzen war es ein schönes Zimmer, allerdings war die Sauberkeit nicht ganz das was wir uns vorstellen. Unter der Klobrille wurde nicht geputzt (sie war gelb!), wir hatten 1 volle und eine fast leere Klopapierrolle und jede Menge Spinnweben und auch einige dicke Spinnen. Aber bis auf die genannten Punkte waren wir sehr zufrieden.
