Friendly staff. Breakfast is a buffet for 10€/person. Important. There's no Metro in Salamanca and no bus arrives directly in front of the hotel. Taking a taxi is a must in Salamanca and it is about 8€ from the train station to the hotel.

Stayed here a few times now, good stop between santander and Portugal. Good breakfast including decaff coffee. Very clean, welcoming, excellent beds and lovely shower and bathrooms. Only down side is no kettle in room, but there is a nice cafe in reception area. Recommend to anyone and the price is excellent for the quality. Even has a outdoor pool during summer months

Excellent hotel close to the city.

A two night stay for us. Hotel is within walking distance of the city. Plenty of on-site free parking. Good sized well equipped room and bathroo. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Had the menu of the day on one night and it was excellent and extremely good value.

Great hotel but needs some maintenance

Great value hotel, close to some shops, bars, restaurants. Hotel staff were excellent. Parking was a welcome facility that attracted us to the hotel. On the downside the beds creaked lots and the air conditioning didn't work. I didn't report this as it was late so I just opened the window. Shower screen leaking lots of water.

Located just off the motorway outside the town. Great staff very helpful really good dinner and breakfast .
Safe secure underground parking and a pool but we didn’t have time to use .
Room and bed spacious room needs a bit of TLC in places . Towels fluffy but didn’t small trash . Overall great place to stay .

Stopover en route to Portugal

we stayed here 2 nights, after driving 2 days solid from Calais, we needed a break. We found this a really relaxing hotel, well positioned on the north side of Salamanca in a relatively quiet position, though seeming to be near a main road. plenty of parking inside the boundary of the hotel. Reception was very efficient and our room was excellent value.
Dinner was top notch, both in the restaurant one night and in the bar the second night. Breakfast was good too.
Hotel location allows you to walk into the city centre - it took us about 25 mins and a pretty straight road (downhill on the way there)

Recommended - fantastic hotel and great staff

Fantastic. Staff were all friendly and very professional, from check in, restaurant to checkout.
Clean - bedrooms, reception and common areas.
Parking is free. You have choice to park above ground ( open air) or below the hotel (closed parking. Parking entrance is generous and easy to drive into ( none of those poles blocking entrance, or steep descents) . Doors open with censor.

Location - easy to get to from highway and easy to get into town.
Highly recommend the hotel.

We just stayed here one night and didn't have a chance to explore the area. But it seemed nice and quiet. Only 30 minutes walking distance to old town. The hotel looks new and well-maintained. The staffs (reception Ms. May..., sorry for my memory, her name is not common in North America to the restaurant's waiter, Mr. Raúl) are very courtesy and professional.

Booked to stay overnight to break up a long journey. Underground parking spaces reasonable size but manoeuvring is a little tight. Room was a good size but bed was rock hard. Breakfast paid to external provider not to hotel, cheap compared to other hotels, but fried eggs were cold and the choice was the usual bread, meat, cheese options.

The hotel has two major assets. 1) It is close to the train station: a five minute taxi journey
2) You can sleep there.
Its about a 25 minute walk down to the old town which is quite a pleasant walk.
The breakfast at the hotel is poor. The cold meat selection and (one) cheese were lacking any taste. The one woman working in the breakfast appeared to be over-worked and not very happy. There was no fresh coffee, just a machine and the bread (and the rolls) were white and as tasteless as the meat and cheese. It was a soulless experience, so much so that once I'd sampled it once, I didn't again. The swimming pool wasn't available. Construction workers were working on it. When I asked about it at reception, I was told that it was being repaired, and that it wasn't normal available anyway until the season ( I was there in June?). None of which, of course, was on their website.
My room, with a double bed was clean but small. Three coat hangers, or maybe four. People on reception were helpful.

We had a bad experience with the hotel, as it had a Latin Dance event all Saturday. We are a Mexican family, so we love latin music, but we do not like to not be able to sleep due to the very high volume of the music at 11pm, 12pm, 1am... and that management lied to use telling us that the loud music would finish at 9pm. I asked the evening manager 2 times if we really will have a quiet night, and he assured me both times that we would. I would never comeback to this hotel and would never recommend it for families.

Large hotel on the outskirts of Salamanca. About a 20 minute walk into the centre. Our room as quite dark, but had all the usual big hotel facilities. Fast internet (50mbps) was a pleasant bonus as there were no English language TV channels available. For those who want to self-cater there's a large Carrefour about 5 minutes down the road.

Good quality hotel but outside the centre

This is a nice hotel (especially for the money I paid) with decent facilities (coffee shop, restaurant, pool area) but is slightly outside the centre. Comes across as a bit of a coach party / business hotel. Having said that I was driving so appreciated being able to park for free and the walk into the old town was only around 15-20 minutes and a pleasant stroll straight down the one road.

The staff really tried to be helpful and friendly and the rooms were very nice in terms of space and décor.

Most importantly I booked this hotel for the pool and it was closed , empty and was not ready for use.
I was not pre warned that this would be the case or Au would not have necessarily booked this particular hotel. We are a family traveling and therefore we were very disappointed.

We had specifically booked this hotel as we wanted a swimming pool. Sadly when we arrived we were told that as no one had been using the pool it was closed!!! The air conditioning was bot working as we coud not change the temperature .. the dial read 36 and we could not change it! Breakfast did not start until 7.30 and we had to leave at 7.00 (the staff kindly gave us a croissant and some fruit each). Situation of the hotel was about30mins walk into the centre. expensive for what we got! Very disappointed.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant. It's in an area that's more hotel focussed and not in the lovely centre of the town. If you don't mind a walk it's fine. We had a particular problem, in that we booked through one of the hotel booking sites on the understanding this was a dog friendly hotel. On arrival we were told this was incorrect. When we proved that the booking site had incorrect information on it the staff allowed us to stay for our one night booking. It was decent of them as it wasn't their fault.

Ok hotel with excellent access to the motorway

Good hotel ilocated with good access to the motorway which makes it an ideal stop over for the night whilst travelling through.
The restaurant was uninspiring and if we'd arrived with enough time to find else where to eat we would have.
We were under the impression that the water was free in the mini bar in the room but were charged for it on check out which was disappointing as the evening meal was supposed to include water but didn't materialise.
In general OK for a one night stop over.
