Amazing room (family suite).

Just make sure when you check in not to fall into their manipulation of you can upgrade your room - I went to see the room that they wanted me to upgrade to, and it wasn't as good as the one that I originally ordered (so I didn't upgrade). However, they were nice and gave me credits to use in the hotel services/restaurants which was really nice.

I didn't like the fact that there is always a cigarette smell coming from the casino.

Other than that it was great! Loved the pools, loved the room, loved the view. Highly recommended

Hotels.com send me an emai from Expedia to contact the hotel. The didn see a payment details despite it was pay at the property and credit card accepted correctly upon the reservation. I have sent a message to the hotel with no response for 3 days. I contacted Hotels.com supprt and they told that everything is ok.
Upon the arrival the didn't find the reservation. I had to wait standing in fron of the desk for 1 hour talking ti them and to support. I offered to give me a room and i will pay and then they will arrange everything by themselves but noone heared eland made me waiting for an hour!.
In the roo. The temperature was 16 degrees. AC worked only to cool it wss freezing. After half an hour of my call noone came. Only after that i came to reception the sent a technical but refused to change the room. It took 2 hour to achieve a comfort temperature, so me and the child were in the coats with no option tilo change and to have a shower. After 2 days the situation was the opposite 32 degrees in the room, AC work only to hot.
In general, the location is good, food good, hotel clean, but old and renovated

Major disappointment.

just disappointment followed by more disappointment.
At check in they tried to switch the reserved room for a lower tier and offer me the reserved room for an additional cost.

The room itself was outdated, but if clean would have been fine. Unfortunately it was pretty dirty and clear that the staff did very little outside of making the bed. Our daily housekeeping did no more, we had to provide images of dirty used mugs to the front desk to prove this and then, they only addressed that one concern while the bathroom was still dirty.

The lobby is a cloud of cigarette smoke as you enter. The attached casino has no barrier and all the smoke just vents to the lobby and seeps into the rooms. Then there is the service. Most things we had to ask twice for and get an attitude whenever requesting something.

Having this list d as a ‘5 star’ hotel is a joke. I’m not sure what certification signs off on hotel star ratings, but clearly this was awarded due to some type of corruption.
At best, this could receive ‘3 star’ rating in USA, but perhaps the standards are much lower here?

I will add some images of the moldy ceilings that have been there for a while, which the smell is likely masked by the cigarette smoke, but the health impacts are certainly not.

For my sanity I did a walkthrough of the Meridien next door, and was floored by how much nicer, cleaner and better it was. Do yourself a favor and stay there or the Sheraton instead. No matter the price, I would not stay in this

The room is not very clean, room service food is limited and no good options..
House keeping service is not good, when they clean the room they take the used cups and towels and do not provide clean ones, we asked them to put clean cups and towels but they didn’t..
they do not provide complementary coffee and tea after we used the ones in the room although we stayed for 4 days..
not all the staff can speak and understand English which is very disappointing for a 5-stars hotel..
I think this hotel should be 3.5-4 stars but definitely not 5 stars hotel

Staff was more rude, wifi did not work well, construction and loud music on roof top bar lasted until 2 or 3am keeping you awake.
Gym the close early and will turn off the lights with you in it. They are rude when you ask them to open the gym in the morning.

high expectations, big disappointment

the good:
+ location
+ very friendly staff (except the rooftop restaurant, which was not so pleasant)
bad:
+ the card for the lift + room keeps failing! changed it at least 5 times in 2 days stay
+ the rooms are allocated so that there are no windows, no balconies (even in the suite), and the AC did not work properly (at least in our room - i set in on 16 to give out a temperature of 23 degrees).
+ no privacy, at least in our room, which was the suite. in the picture they show you a bed with a window on its side, when actually we got window in front of our bad, the thing is - its a huge window, and in front of us there is a huge building blocking the view, like an eye sore. and since the whole building is in front of the hotel, all the rooms on that side will have the same experience (the only room that was on the different side, and also i am guessing looked like in the pictures they put on the websites, are the ones that face the south part of the hotel, for example room 1706,1606 ... )
+ the pool is small, but nice . the spa facilities are lacking (a small sauna for up to 2 people, that had barely 70 degrees, and a steam sauna that barely had steam)
+ the shower, in our room at least, had a funny smell. of sewage - not a fun experience.
*generally, it seemed like the hotel needs renovation, it had a dirty look to it, even though it wasn't really dirty.

Excellent hotel, in a good location. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the sea, which was huge and comfortable. At reception the service was efficient and friendly. Also breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The Spa was also great. Maintenance could be better, there was an issue with a malfunction of the toilet, and one day we had to ask for towels and bathrobes 3 times and only got it the next morning. Perhaps due to the reopening after the covid period

Good but not amazing

This is not really a 5 star hotel compared to a 5 star in western Europe or north America. The front desk service is pretty poor; they seemed confused about their own procedures for requiring a deposit or not. The breakfast was good and the room was nice. The facilities such as the pool and spa were also good. They don't actually have two restaurants. They have one menu and kitchen and just bring the food to different seating areas.

FANCY, KIND BUT NONPROFESIONAL CARE IN MALFUNCTION

WE HAVE ARRIVED THE STUFF WAS VERY KIND. THE HOTEL IS SO BEUTIFUL AND THE FAMILY SUITE WAS VERY BIG, NICE WITH A HUGE BATHROOM. WE CELEBRATED MY PARENTS Anniversery and as asked they put a nice dissert in the room. We were very impressed.
Even though a single bed wasn`t in the suite as excepected when paying and ordring a Family Suite for 3 people.
Breakfast was very nice. Everything was fresh, tasty and planty.
Two things were very bad:
1. On the second day the toilet was stuck and they came to fix it almost emmidiatly but they didn`t fix it well. Even though we told them. The man came and said he fixed it but it wasnet working at all until we left the hotel. We were very disapointed.
2. On wedensday afternoon we came from a tour and strangers came out of our room!!! the Bellboy was outside with there logdge. After that our keys didn`t open the door. Only after 4-5 times we went again and again to the reception - it was fine.
one mistake of a clarck realy made our stay so anoying. My parents are 74 & 77 years old. They had to go back and forth to fix the ket all day long.
I think a compensation will be right.
At first we wanted to come with all the family on summer.
Now I am not sure my parents would like that.
Hope this will make the service better next time.

Location OK, alot of construction nearby (new Le Meridian), have to walk quite a good distance to get to beach. Breakfast good, sauna good, steam room marginal. Would have liked a hot pool, but regular pool heated well. Our room A/C wouldn't shut off, tried to get staff to take care of it, they didn't, that was very annoying. So when turned off room to hot, if on would get too cold. Sad, since room o/w good

Spacious comfort on the Black Sea

Very comfortable and good location. Room was spacious and offered views of both the Black Sea and the heart of Batumi. If casinos are your thing there are many nearby and in the hotel, but simply exploring this surprisingly lovely city on foot was made easy by the hotel’s central location. Giant bathroom in the junior suite and a spacious living area to unwind in the eveninings. While not right on the beach it’s a three minute walk to the bustling seaside promenade (Bolevar) which is only for pedestrians and bicycles and stretches for miles along the coast. Batumi beaches are an endless expanse or smooth stones (no sand) but there are many places to lounge and enjoy a seaside day and swim in the Black Sea that are easily reached on foot. Restaurant on the top floor has a casual, yet elegant vibe, offers amazing 360 views, and has a good selection of Georgia’s famous wines.

The hotel has an excellent location and overall should be a good place to stay and see the sights. One of the main reasons for picking the hotel was it has a great outdoor pool that you can sit around and relax. Unfortunately for us the pool was closed due to major reconstruction which clearly was planned in advance and going on for a long time. We were not told this when we booked nor when we checked in. Only when we went to use it.

For the three nights we stayed there, the room was only cleaned once after a number of calls to reception

Enjoyed my stay. Upgrade to business suite and late check out was nice. Super location and nice view on Alphabet tower. Spa area and massage we’re excellent. WiFi great. The shower pipe was leaking pretty badly. No automatic refill of tea and coffee, or complimentary water but I guess if you ask, they will bring extra.

Our room is having a nice view ( alphabet tower and ferris wheel) . Hotel has a good swimming pools, sauna and steam rooms. Only some issues with the door locks, coffee cups and some staff but overall satisfied and we have pleasing experience.

Stayed for 3 nights and the Business Class room that I stayed for 2 nights was excellent with a 17th floor room overlooking the sea. Room was spacious and had all the very best amenities. Breakfast was good but due to the rush the restaurant was in a disarray, though the 2nd day, everything was fine in the restaurant.

The standard room that I stayed on the 3rd night was not great, but still had a good view from the 9th floor. The switchover to the room was smooth and the front desk staff were helpful. The room had a water leak which was attended to immediately by the technicians.

Had dinner at the Turkish Restaurant on two nights, and it is not expensive.

Great location in Batumi

The hotel is smaller than on the picture. The location is perfect! It's very close to the beach, old city, cable car ride, restaurants. Rooms are clean, spacious with a nice walk in closet, comfortable bed. The hotel has a great partial view of the sea ( there is a high apartment building right in front of the hotel blocking view). There was a mini bar, electric tea kettle, complimentary bottle of local water, coffee and tea. I did not find any instructions on how to dial consierg. They offer breakfast buffet on the first floor. It caters food for Turkish tourists, limited variety and the same menu every day. We could not eat there every day. My other complaint would be bathroom. There is no privacy if you share room. Bathroom has a sliding closet type door and a glass door to the toilet.
They have a nice restaurant on the top floor with great view and a Casino on the ground floor. 24-hour currency exchange. Staff speaks some English, Russian, Georgian. The check in and check out time was not as smooth as you expect in this hotel category. The parking was sufficient. Overall, I would recommend this place for a short stay.

At the check out staff asked me if I used minibar. I answered that I did not. Then they hold me at the reception and send someone to check if I have used minibar or not. This is somehow insulting to the guests.
They should have credit card on file and charge it in case minibar was used, but not by any means perform this inappropriate procedure.
Also, they have Ice makers on every floor, but there is no container in the room so you can go and get the ice.
When you ask to bring it they may forget. Working personal comes to the room after short knock, thanks god I wasn't naked. This is nice hotel, but personnel definitely needs more training and it is not 5 star as they say they are.

I like this hotel over the Sheraton because this hotel is in a better location, closer to what my kids enjoy with the fountain, park, and Ferris wheel. The hotel is clean and professional as expected. The breakfast is fine, but nothing extraordinary. Best hotel that I have stayed in while visiting Batumi.

Nice but...

This is a nice hotel. Staff is friendly and attentive. But the location is becoming difficult due to 2 large buildings under construction that eliminate 75% of the views of the Black Sea. The hotel was not able to give me the non-smoking room requested until the next day and I found the restaurant closes for several hours between meals. Not conducive to relaxing mornings which is why I was there. A nice hotel, but I'll stay somewhere different next time.

The staff were very friendly and nice. They assisted us and gave us tips for our stay in Batumi. The location is good - next to the beach and about minutes walk from main attractions The breakfast was fantastic. Also we had dinner - once at the resturant and the other opportunity we ordered a room service - the dinner in both occasions were very average and bit expansive for what we got.

Für den Preis erwarte ich ein bisschen besseren Service. Wir haben beim CheckIn ganz lang auf das Zimmer gewartet. Kaffeemaschine war kaputt, kein Toilette Papier nach zwei Tage. Beim Frühstück gab es kleine Auswahl.
Da Meer 200 m entfernt ist, wollte ich schwimmen gehen. Mir wurde nicht erlaubt Handtücher mitzunehmen. Security hat ohne Erklärung die weggenommen. Seltene Mitarbeiter sprechen englisch und sind unfreundlich. Ich würde dem Hotel 3 Sterne geben. Ich war in Deutschland in Radisson Blue und Service war deutlich besser.

Sabah çok erken tadilata başladıklarından odada çol ses vardı. Ayrıca çok sıcaktı klima merkezi sistem kapanmadı. Onun haricinde otel mükemmel
