Great location, not-so-good reception.

Excellent location. Nice big room. Excellent breakfast. Reception not very receptive. We wanted an umbrella, they say they do not have. I demanded one for the evening, finally they spplied one. Curtain tore, I told them in the morning. Until the late afternoon it was not fixed.When we reminded them, they finally sent someone to fix it.
I think that a 5-star hotel should be more receptive

I would like to address a concerning issue regarding my recent stay at this hotel. From midnight to 4 AM, the electricity was disconnected, creating significant safety and comfort concerns. As a guest who relies on a CPAP machine for proper sleep, the lack of electricity was particularly alarming. Additionally, the absence of air conditioning in a dark room made the situation even more uncomfortable. I do not believe this hotel meets the standards of a five-star establishment, and I will not be returning. I have shared these concerns with all relevant agents. This experience will undoubtedly impact the reputation of Hilton.

Check in was weird: we were told that they can’t extract money we paid two months ago when we booked the hotel. We did it through a standard web site and the receptionist asked us to contact this web site. Otherwise he can’t check us in. Somehow while we were trying to connect to internet, suddenly our payment was discovered. Another strange thing was a refusal to put our bar bill to our room because we didn’t have a credit. But no one proposed us to arrange a credit at check in. So the service for now doesn’t correspond a level of Hilton hotels in Europe or US.

Batumi is infamous for its capricious weather. Nonetheless, in Hilton Batumi, even though it's raining heavily outside, you could enjoy your day staying inside the whole day long. There are gym, sauna room (X2) and steam room. All the facilities are in pristine clean condition. One more thing say continental breakfast is not shabby at all. Thumbs up.

The hotel is high rated and indded the facility is in good condition and excellent location, however, the service is not at high standard : 2 out of 4 nights we needed to remind the reception to clean the room, on the second day, the room was not cleaned till 18:30, till we reminded. No water was on the arrival day. On the last night there was an alarm at 2:30 at night and all the people were required to go down for 40 minutes till it was confirmed as a false alarm. This can happen, of course, safety first, however, no appologies and compensation was proposed, as if it is OK for us to pay for premium hotel but not OK for hotel to provide a good service and compensate or even appologize in case the service is not good.

A handicap room

They gave me a room for a handicapped person. So inconvenient : the shower with all these metal bars + some special alarm buttons for the handicapped person I kept on pushing because they were near the light buttons.
And what if a handicap person arrives, would they ask me to change the room ?

The hotel is not up to 5 star service; the facility needs maintenance ( tv not working only a couple if channels that are useless/ no remote control that works / curtain no black out/ bath tub not draining) for 7 days never changed bed sheets; towels only few and old; no tissue refill etc…) barely 4 stars .. room service and restaurant ( sky view) terrible food and service ; even bed not so clean and some insects ..!!

amazing experience! A caring team of good people who help with everything.
Spacious rooms, the best room service we met.
Very very tasty food in the dining room. Even the chef made us a special dish because my wife is vegan.

I came to this hotel with my baby and my little children, i asked a conection door or room close to each other and they wanted more money, the rate of the dolar is too expensive in this hotel like the euro.
The bathroom is not clean at all!!!!

The receptionists Are not cooperative an the carpets in the rooms are not clean no bell boys at the entrance not available

The Hilton Batumi is a nice hotel. What makes it great is the staff who provide outstanding service and attention. We were particularly grateful to the young woman who helped solve our train issue by calling the train station for us, helping resolve a ticket question. Breakfast was also excellent.

There was no TV working. They put tht on bad weather but it was just couple of channels in turkish. The bath room was clean but it had a bad smell like was cleaned with dirty mupp. It was kind of noisy with windows closed . The windows were not sound proof.

Welcoming and polite reception staff, clean spa, comfortable room. We weren’t happy with the room service though. It was slow and we had to call more than once to get what we wanted. Room was cleaned ok but on one occasion the cleaner had taken out the toilet bin bag and left it on the sink and the water from the bin bag had spilt on my personal items which I had left on the sink. I had to dispose of the bin bag myself as the cleaner had forgotten to take it and just left it on the sink. Otherwise, the hotel was pleasant and it has a nice bar with a beautiful view on the top floor.

מאד מאכזב. ביקשו תשלום על החניה במלון. המצעים במיטה מאד ישנים. לקחנו חדר עם מרפסת ונוף לים- לא ישנו כל הלילה. רועש עד 5 בבוקר מהמועדונים שעל החוף. המלון מכיר את הבעיה אבל לא טרחו לומר לנו. הם החליפו חדר לנוף לעיר ואז היה שקט. אבל המצעים והמגבות נשארו לא נעימים. יש קומקום כוסות וקפה- אבל אין כפיות. השירות מאד נחמד אבל התנאים לא. ארוחת הבוקר בסדר. לא מעבר.

. ביקשתי בהזמנה מיטה מתקפלת לילדים והיא לא הייתה מוכנה, למרות שהגענו אחרי 23:00. ביקשתי 3 פעמים לסדר משהו במיני בר ורק בפעם הרביעית הגיעו.
רדפו אחרי מהמסעדה כמו גנב בטענה שלא שילמתי למרות שחתמתי על החדר!
בסופו של דבר התנצלו על הכל ונתנו לי חצי יום נוסף בחינם

friendly service, but not enough towels

We stayed there two years ago and it was wonderful. So it was this time until we had some issues- there was no clean towels left and even though room was nicely made up I came out of shower to discover I had nothing to dry with. With much apologies they brought some dry towels but most of them foot mats! They run out of towels in pool as well. Next morning we went to the pool since weather was bad and found a swimming practice for the local children. We love children and understand their needs but believe that 5star hotel should at least post some blocked time. We decided to cancel our last day and lots of thanks to hotels.com for prompt and efficient cancellation and understanding. Overall people were very friendly , apologetic for their shortcomings, humbled and embarrassed. I think we will try to stay there again if we go back.

If you want your room clean make sure to put the service needed sign on the door or they will not come in or bring new towels etc. I booked the hotel because it said they offered a Shuttle to the airport, they did not and wanted a charge and not helpful. I found my own transportation

Executive lounge was good. It opened late, was unstaffed at times, but when it was staffed and it wasn't out of wine, it was a convenient and pleasant part of our stay.

Horrifically loud disco until 4 a.m. kept us from sleeping Friday through Sunday. Breakfast, WiFi everything was available only for an extra fee. Shower door was unprofessionally attached to wall and was not closeable. Water or other damage to wall was not professionally repaired and looked shabby.

Hotel is close to the beach, which is stone not sand. Swim shoes a must, however theycalso won't help against the occasional bits of rusty, sharp wire found there.

Excellent location by the beach -- although a stony beach with violent tides, wear swim shoes!

Beautiful views but the rooftop discotheque the discotheque is a great drawback. There was LOUD, THUMPING MUSIC UNTIL 4 A.M. Friday through Sunday. Our room was 14 floors below the discotheque and we could still hear it. We slept VERY badly at least three nights of our 5-night stay.

Some of the room (No. 612) needed renovation. The shower door was attached to the wall in a clearly improvised manner and would not shut properly. Part of the wall of the room had apparently been patched but not wallpapered properly. It looked shabby -- not what one would expect from the Hilton.

Hilton Batumi experience

Overall I am pleased with the stay in Batumi Hilton. Location is very good and staff very friendly, Rooms are spacious, clean and have balconies with sea or city view - both are good. Breakfast is very good and hotel facilities are pleasing. Private parking is also available for hotel guests.

However there were couple of things that were annoying.
First - the hotel had wrong information from Expedia about my booking ( I booked and paid for two rooms only to discover that the hotel had booking for one). The hotel didn't create problems and gave us two rooms. Therefore you need to reconfirm with the hotel, if you aren't booking directly with them.

Swimming pool - water was green and very warm, making swimming unpleasant.

Noise - The rooms with the sea view overlook the very noisy Georgian restaurant (not belonging to Hilton, but located in the same building). Expect loud noise after the midnight or request the hotel reception to influence restaurant management to reduce the volume.

Wonderful hotel, mediocre casino

Hotel is new, well decorated, in a great location. The residence next building seem to be too close to the hotel block. Restaurants are good, service needs improvement. Casino is good enough to spend few hours but lacks character.

Winter stay so the hotel was very quiet, but the staff were very attentive and helpful. We were disappointed that some restaurants were closed within the hotel, but realise this may be necessary over winter, and we enjoyed the limited range of food that was available. Breakfasts were lovely.

We went to Batumi for a long weekend and wanted to stay in a fancy new hotel. It definitely is not a 5 star hotel. We expected much more of it. Spa is very poor, sounas (2) are tiny, pool normal size. Room was nice but for some odd reason we were given a handicap room, never requested. When we entered a room, there was only one set of bathroom set and robe. And there were few stains on the carpet, which is weird as it is a brand new hotel. Minibar was empty in a 5 star hotel, you need to request drinks. On the other hand 24 hour room service was quite delicious and fast. Staff was ok not great.

Pleasant stay

New hotel with all facilities relevant to this brand. Good neighbourhood with large park and dolphinarium some 100 steps from it. Breakfast was nice and quite good choice of food. The only shadow was the services of the cleaner who forgot to put new shower gel or slippers. Two times we found no slippers and gel in the room after the cleaning. The hotel staff is very friendly and solves any issue within few moments

Reception is great but housekeeping needs training

The front desk was great, but we were at war with the housekeeping staff. Every day we had to ask for a 3rd set of towels. We also had to beg for toiletries (shampoo, etc). When we were successful at getting some, the next day, they took them all away. They even took toiletries that we brought in our own. They claimed that they were out of toiletries, but that doesn't explain why they took ours. Fortunately, after our own items went missing, the front desk took pity on us and bought us some to get thru the trip.

From maintenance issues to communication issues. Example; three days of dealing with a leaking shower. Next, having to ask the same housekeeping staff members for a third towel. When there was clearly three people in the room
