If I was being picky, dinner menu in bar / restaurant was a little limited and water pressure in the shower a bit low but other than that, nothing to fault.

The room was spacious, clean with gr at light options. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast area is really a notch above. Potato bread fried to perfection, bacon quality and crisp cooking with all options stood out, including eggs on request. The staff are excellent and their attention to detail also stood out.

Room ok, was offended when a member of bar staff stopped us on our way out of bar/restaurant and asked did we pay our bill. Could have been handled better. Also fire alarm went off twice in our room without us having been pre warned and as a result I destroyed my top when I threw a mug of tea over it in shock. Food could have been hotter and breakfast less dried out

Very poor charged us twice for the room saying they couldn’t find a record of past payment, then room key didn’t work went down to reception and was told another person was in my room number when I said that’s the room I was given by her she told me to take a seat in bar as been a mix up even though all my stuff in room already no apologies just blank me I had to queue up again to get my room key very disappointed!!

Leisure facilities obviously tired, no locks for the lockers and pool very noisy with young ones. But apparently there are plans to upgrade the pool and sauna areas which will be good.

Parking area very safe with plenty of disabled bays. Reception area busy with afternoon teas and people relaxing and socialising in the evening which gave off a good vibe. Very professional staff. Bar and tables cleared quickly and efficiently. Friendly staff. Singer on Saturday night very enjoyable.

Beautiful big room with great bathroom
Double shower head welcomed when no need to wash your hair!!!
Food delicious and breakfast a superb hot & cold buffet, so much to choose from 😋
Staff friendly and attentive
We stayed during the blues festival and music from the Rob Strong Band was fantastic 🎵
Highly recommend, location perfect for all the fabulous boutiques in the city!! 🛍️

The best hotel in Armagh

Very nice. Room, Reception, Gym, Bar and Coffee house good, sandwiches, scones and tea excellent quality and value. Lunch Calvary, over cooked- not my taste. Bar menu basicSwimming pool very small and only 1.2m deep.
No conversation with fellow guestsor talked to anyone except staff who are very helpdful

Great hotel!

Checking in was quick and easy & the staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was also good and clean. The bar area was traditional so there is a nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. Overall I highly recommend this hotel going on my experience whilst staying there.👍

My friend & I stayed one night,staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms beautiful,hotel was very busy as a lot of diners.
There was only one bar tender & he appeared to be under serious pressure.
When checking in to hotel we asked could we books a table for dinner but were told it was walk in.
When we arrived at the dining room we had to join a queue with non residents to wait for a table.
Food very good but service slow.
With self service breakfast the eggs have to be ordered separately ,one would expect the egg to be cooked fresh but this was not the case for me as the egg which was served to me was like rubber and had obviously been sitting for a long time .
The staff did accommodate with a freshly cooked egg.

Great hotel

Hotel is old fashioned but in a good way. Room was immaculate. Gym and pool downstairs was great. Plenty of parking spaces. Room was spacious with a comfy bed and very clean. Would stay here again.

Armagh City Hotel

Attended an event here. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Room was spacious and very clean.

We had a meal for 14 people. The food and the service was excellent. I would especially like to mention Cornelia and Sarah in the restaurant who were very professional and made sure everything went to plan.

From event booking to check in to the meal I can honestly say everything was well above standard and I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Armagh or holding an event there.

Would have given 5 stars but checked in went to room and it wasn’t made up, looked a right mess. Went back to reception to tell them and fair do’s immediate apology and free upgrade to a superior room Restaurant is closed mid week but the bar food is excellent with a good choice

Property was perfect for a relaxing overnight stay.
My only issue was dining room staff took our order for tea / coffee informed us to use self service but we were not made aware in time that we would have to pre order fried/poached eggs , by the time our eggs were served we had almost finished eating our fried food which was by now cold.
We had mot looked at menu as we went instead to use the self service .
Clear communication would have prevented this occurring.

Lovely hotel disappointing leisure facilities

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, clean tidy and welcoming reception staff. Easy parking, food in bar lovely as was breakfast plenty choice.
Only let down for me was the gym/pool (one of reasons for me booking this hotel) facilities were ok but staff were rude and extremely unapproachable. Really let down what would have been a lovely stay.
