As friendly as the staff were they were also unprofessional
Arrived on Saturday around 2 PM .. very difficult to stop the car and unload and no one to direct you
Went in leaving my wife in the car to find a lone receptionist totally absorbed by her cell phone that it took her few seconds and me coughing to realize she had a guest waiting
Then could not find my reservation so she called on her phone another colleague who showed her where my reservation was in the system but not to check me in till she arrives around 3 … no problem
Came back around 4 to be given a key and discover it is a totally different room then the one I booked ( junior suite with canal view)
When I mentioned it to the receptionist first she said my reservation did not specificy what room
When I showed her my reservation she had at this point to admit they gave my room to someone else and they are fully booked … very unprofessional
I ended up with a really strangely designed room and roof top view
Breakfast is ok
If you can’t secure a parking forget it as the area is very busy
Would not be my first choice for my next visit for sure …. Sadly

Typical European boutique hotel, but a little run down. Desk staff was nice enough. Bartender was rude and turned us away from wanting to eat or drink there. Rooms are frightfully small and strange layout. The price was high for what you get.

Could not have asked for a better location. Right in the center of all of the amazing restaurants and shops. Make sure to take a cruise around the Peninsula and eat fresh fish.
The town is truly a step back in history

We booked a superior double room. After two weeks travelling around other towns in the area this was meant to be the highlight of our stay. The cost of the room was almost double what we had paid in other hotels and the quality of the room was way below all of them.
The lighting in the room was so poor I couldn’t even see to write a postcard and the only bedside light was broken.
The toilet was in a separate cubicle and you couldn’t close the door if sitting on the toilet. There was no wash basin in the room so you had to go into the bathroom to wash hands.
The shower smelt awful and there was not enough light to wash yourself.
The next day the receptionist offered us another room but we had to repack all our belongings and put them into storage until 3 in the afternoon. The new room was bigger but was a strange arrangement with a couch and wardrobe downstairs but everything else upstairs. This room was very quiet and I guess they tried to help us but we no longer had a separate shower. The bath was very big but we had to step into it to shower and there was no handle to hold onto getting in and out.
We paid for breakfast on the first morning but there was no orange juice in the machine and the selection was poor so we ate the following breakfasts in a nearby cafe.
The location of the hotel was perfect but we were disappointed with what was meant to be the highlight of our holiday.

The hotel was in a great position with the possibility of purchasing parking. There was a good inside outdoor courtyard for breakfast/drinks etc
BUT
The parking was a chore! You find out about parking on arrival ( a slightly incorrect picture with instructions) by this time you will already have had to park in another car park in this busy town. you need to drive in off a busy road, hang about half (or fully ) blocking the road until you phone the hotel , they pick up and they then let you in. If the reception is busy - you wait. This also happens to get out again. The instructions show you putting a code in a keypad yourself which would be much easier! If it’s broken - get it fixed.
We were in a cosy room ( and it was!) and although superficially clean ( bathroom/toilet etc) if when sat on the loo you looked at the door (2 inches in front of your knees) it was fairly nasty- looked like the paintwork hadn’t been cleaned after an accident of some sort…….. there was a fold up case holder which unfortunately didn’t really fit anywhere in the room and the air conditioning wasn’t able to be controlled. Also things like light fittings hanging off the wall just gave this the air of not being cared about. Our family were staying in a similar ‘level’ of room but was much better laid out / had more space.
Finally breakfast- plastic cheese, horrible juices ( unrecognisable) no condiments. (Lovely croissants)
The staff were nice but someone needs to care for this hotel and us using it!

The place was ok.. it wasn't the nicest of hotels but in a good location.
We paid for a junior suite, but it was just a bedroom with a large bathroom and a strange weird entrance. No lounge or anything. Was a very strange layout.
Had a good sleep which i guess is what counts. Good parking and great location

The most horrible room in our fist two weeks in Fr

The room was VERY NOISY from the street. Motorcycle nice the worst as the street below allows them to really gun the engine, and Very poor air conditioning so closing window made the room miserable. The room itself was really a half room, really, they recently put a wall up cutting what was a nice size room in half, actually over a window so out rom had half and the a joining had the other half. Then new would have been a good opportunity to add electric plugs, but no they must have cost to much. They put a shower next to the bed and the toilet was in a closet space so small you almost. Couldn’t close door if you were in side.
I asked for another room and they ignored my request even though they promised to send someone up to get me and show us another room.

I chose a superior room but to be honest it looked a very standard room. Chips out of the walls, the safe didn't work. The reception very friendly and helpful. The parking very convenient but very tight and difficult to get in and out but space in that area of Sete is very much a premium. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was very quiet, even at night and the aircon worked well. Everything was clean and tidy. Lots of good restaurants all with local caught fish and seafood.

Central location, easy walkability & a firm bed.

For a 3 star it’s a cute little gem but it is a 3 star hotel. It recently appears to of been refreshed with new paint all around and in the room I occupied, a new bathroom. The bed was firm, very firm. It was clean.

The location is central and has good walk ability. Two grocery stores nearby, lots of shops and boulangeries. Public bus stop close by. Large majority of the rooms look out onto an interior courtyard. So if that’s not your thing make sure you book a room with an actual view.

There’s a bar onsite and I think a little restaurant but these things were closed during my stay. Also no hair conditioner in the toiletry set so make sure you pack it.

The pickings are very very slim for hotels in sete and this one does the job.

Hotel is in a great location, really difficult to park even for 5 minutes to check in. Very hard to find way in to hotel car park, but receptionist very helpful and printed off directions to access the parking. The car park space is very close and has direct access to the hotel. Parking is up a ramp with limited headroom, so could be an issue for some, particularly if you roof box or bikes on the car. Hotel was undergoing some renovation in the lobby area. Hotel room was good, but carpets badly stained.

Interesting Boutique Hotel

Was looking for a fun place to stay on a road trip from Barcelona to St. Tropez and I found it in Sete. Getting to the hotel was easy, but finding parking was another story. I believe a valet service would work well. All rooms appear to have a different color scheme, mine was black which was interesting, but at night even with all the lights on it was still dark in the room. I had to use my phone's flash to get stuff out of the closet area. The bathroom had some nice tile work and the vessel sink was a great touch. The only issue was the outlets. I had to unplug the lamp to charge my computer. The location couldn't have been better. Great walking to be done along the canals. There was water jousting matches going on and cafes to have aperitifs while watching. If you love seafood you must eat at Chez Francois right around the corner from the hotel. Took a nice sunset walk around the harbor and lighthouse which made for some of my favorite photos. All in all a great experience.

Moved to this hotel as the hotel we were already staying in was full. Great location on the canal and you may be lucky to get a free car parking space right outside as we did. Our room was at the back of the hotel but this did not affect our stay. The bathroom was large and in good contrition. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as there is a wonderful Boulangerie down the road. Sete is a great town with much to offer.

We spent a very enjoyable six days at the Hotel de Paris, Sete : town centre/close to canal location the air conditioned room was spacious and the overall service was very good :the tariff included a good continental breakfast buffet :the reception staff were particularly helpful especially in recommending restaurants which was an important factor as the hotel restaurant was closed with no reasons provided which was a little odd.

Nice hotel in town on the edge of the canal.

The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms a good size and comfortable. It's a good location if you want to be in town and has the benefit of being close to the canal and seafood restaurants. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, so if you want a beach location then this isn't for you. The hotel is modern with a pretty courtyard.

J'ai réservé et payé les deux chambres pour un couple d'amis et nous. La chambre des amis a été surclassée. Soit on surclasse les deux soit aucune. Chambre Cosy avec lit à 140 (non mentionné lors de la réservation) j'ai donc demandé un échange de chambre pour des raisons médicales et avoir le lit 160. Ma demande n'a pas été prise en compte. J'ai pris Cosy car aucune supérieure libre au moment de la réservation. Cosy sans gel douche, supérieur avec. Très déçue de la façon de faire.

Le parking tres bien, mais pour joindre l'hôtel, il faut descendre des escaliers, et les remonter, pas très pratique avec une grosse valise.

Havde booket en enkelt overnatning i Séte fremfor Montpellier, da vi gerne ville være tæt på vandet. Meget hyggelig by med masser af caféer og restauranter. Værelse med udsigt til kanalen. Værelset var kæmpe stort og ligeså badeværelset. Gad godt at blive flere dage.

La chambre initialement réservé trop cher, petit.

Très bien accueilli, mais la chambre que j’ai réservé, à peine 10m2, avec lit en 120 les wc dans la chambre non séparé par une porte ni le lavabo ainsi que la douche. Le tarif de cette chambre est vraiment trop élevé. 70€ grand maximum.
L’hôtesse d’accueil m’a surclassée d’elle même, geste que j’ai particulièrement apprécier. La chambre du jour 2, excellente. Le personnel est sympathique, ainsi que le service de restauration, le serveur et le chef de cuisine super accueillants et professionnel. Je conseille le restaurant.

État de la chambre à l'arrivée très moyen, les toilettes sales et le dessous de lavabo non nettoyé. Le mini bar non en fonctionnement et démonté dans le placard , le coffre fort inaccessible , un trou dans le mur a la place d'un porte manteau, et une toile d'araignée au plafond.
Le lendemain impossible de faire faire la chambre dans les temps car nous n'avions pas de panonceau a apposer sur la porte. Toutefois le personnel était très agréable et a l'écoute , les petits déjeuners copieux et varies.

Dommage pour le service car le coffre ne fonctionnait pas et la clé a été emportée par un client … dommage que la chambre ne soit pas vérifiée avant de la louer car nous avions vraiment besoin du coffre.

Hôtel sympa mais pas à la hauteur du prix. Sèche cheveux branché dans un tiroir qui oblige, selon sa taille, de se baisser. Oreiller pas confortable. La sonorisation des chambres laisse à désirer. Petit déjeuner top. L'hôtel est idéalement situé

Okej för sitt pris

Bra hotell för sitt pris men ganska trafik stört. Det gäller att ta reda på var hotellets parkering ligger innan man kommer dit. Går inte att stanna bilen utanför.

Hôtel en plein centre proche d un parking couvert. Face au port et a côté des halles. Idéalement situé ! La chambre petite mais pratique! Propre, récent et très fonctionnel

Agréable mais...

Bel hôtel avec un patio sûrement très agréable à la belle saison. Déçue de la taille de la chambre qui ne correspondait pas à la taille de la chambre réservée !!
