A good last minute move

It was a very last minute booking because I didn't like my other hotel in Assisi up the hill, so I left there one day early (without able to get a refund) and booked this hotel, also because it was near Santa Maria degli Angeli where I wanted to visit on my last day, also nearer to train station. So it worked out well for me for the move.

It was pouring rain when I checked in, but the staff was friendly and efficient.

I wish I would have known how far out this hotel was when I booked it. Could walk to Plaza of Mary of the Angels. Loved the hotel and the view of the basilica/old town of Assisi was priceless!

it was a little town outside of assisi. nothing fantastic . reasonable & acceptable service, although I was impressed with the gentlemen who served us coffee/cappuccino at the breakfast reception. he was very prompt, polite and was multi-tasking.

Very, very tiny rooms (and I was one person in a double room), safe in the room was sketchy, not much of a breakfast. On the plus side, relatively close to the historic center, prompt email responses when I asked for directions on how to reach the hotel via bus.

Very Good Hotel

I think this is a good choice for choosing \"Hotel Cristallo\" when visiting Assisi, although it is on locat in Assisi, but it would be easier to take the local bus for transpotation and for a good price.

An interesting stay

The hotel is on a main road so traffic noise is an issue if you want a view (in our case made worse by the patio door not fitting flush). However, it is clean and the staff are friendly and breakfast has a reasonable continental type choice. It is a shame that the room’s balcony has no table or chairs and that there is only one chair in a double room. There is parking at the hotel and a good 1 Euro bus that takes you to Assisi and to the station. Overall the hotel is comfortable and the staff do their best but on days when bookings are low the management seem to try to save on having proper breakfast staff and use the reception staff which does not work. The dining room meals seemed very pricey but there are restaurants a km away. All this said we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is situated outside Assisi, about 5km far, so you'll need a car or other transportation to visit San Francis Church and its surroundings. The breakfast is disappointing, absolutely no fruits and low quality products. I don't recommend this hotel.

It's one of the best hotels . . . . .

Room larger than average for this class of hotel. Large bath, with shower only. Good parking space in a very quite area.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and cheerful.
The excellent breakfast will suite any taste.
Strongly recommended if you plan to visit Assisi (2 mls away)and its surroundings.

Ottima location, gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, camera spaziosa con splendida vista su Assisi, dotata di letto matrimoniale con dimensioni al di sopra degli standard, di terrazzino e di ogni altro comfort, bagno nuovo e grande, colazione ottima, sia dolce che salata, parcheggio interno davanti all'entrata.

Sono già stata in questo hotel qualche anno fa e posso solo riconfermare che si è accolti molto bene, il personale è di squisita gentilezza e simpatia.. Le camere sono pulite bene, bagno grande e funzionale, per la colazione c è l imbarazzo della scelta, offrono veramente una colazione abbondante.... La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, in zona tranquilla ma vicino a tutti i luoghi di interesse in poco tempo..... Tornerò volentieri..... Lo consiglio!

No nos gustó mucho el recibimiento del recepcionista, pero tampoco queremos darle mucha importancia. El hotel está bastante bien, tiene párquing incluido en la reserva, el desayuno de buffet muy bueno (aunque vimos el menú y es caro si quieres comer o cenar ahí) con fruta natural, bollería artesana y la atención de la mujer también muy agradable. La habitación muy grande aunque la cama no es demasiado cómoda, el colchón parecía de muelles y se clavaba un poco. El baño grande, completo y con el detalle de tener papel higiénico ecológico. Al entrar en la habitación hacía mucho frío y quisimos subir un poco la temperatura regulando el aire, pero se ve que funciona mejor el frío que el calor. Al menos había más sábanas y una mantita en el armario y nos apañamos.
No está mal.

2 stelle ok, le altre due son cadenti

Sono partito con la mia famiglia per una visita alla bellissima Assisi ed abbiamo deciso di soggiornare presso l'hotel Cristallo incoraggiati dalle recensioni e dalla categoria. Arrivati siamo stati colpiti dalla gentilezza del receptionist che ci ha accolto con un caloroso benvenuto. Arrivati in camera abbiamo apprezzato la pulizia della stessa ma subito le buone impressioni sono sparite. Vi era presenza di umidità sulla parete confinante con il bagno e intonaco scrostato in bagno,arredamento danneggiato e riparato approssimativamente e lettino per la bimba mancante nonostante richiesto. L'impressione era di essere in un sufficiente 2 stelle. L'indomani siamo scesi per la colazione che devo dire era abbondante e varia. Abbiamo chiesto ci fosse scaldato il latte per la bimba ma l'addetta alla mia richiesta ha storto il naso ed ho addirittura pensato di doverlo dare freddo. Alla fine causa guasto del microonde il latte è stato scaldato col vapore della macchina del caffè provocandone, naturalmente, un aumento del contenuto del biberon. La qualità dei cornetti non era eccelsa e sembravano addirittura del giorno precedente. Consiglio questo hotel a chi non ha molte aspettative e a chi deve fermarsi per un brevissimo soggiorno. La mia esperienza è da considerarsi negativa e non ci tornerei assolutamente.

Sistemazione in camera soddisfacente, per ampiezza, confort pulizia ecc...
Soddisfatti del soggiorno che ci ha consentito di fare base in Hotel e girare per tutta l'Umbria. Merita!
Una sola nota stonata.
Il ristorante, appena sufficiente.Menù limitato,sempre uguale e il rapporto qualità\prezzo, assolutamente negativo.
Per il resto complessivamente giudizio soddisfacente.

hotel situé a quelques kilometres du centre historique de assise . tres bon acceuil chambres tres grande et propre avec un petit balcon. parking gratuit . petit dejeuner copieux et varié ( une machine a café serai la bienvenue car il faut demender a chaque fois a la serveuse son café) mais sinon exellent hotel propre et calme

The hotel is a very nice big hotel. Breakfast was very very nice, however the service was a bit slow. My air condition was very hot and they didn't do much about it because they said outside was hot (45C) and it is normal inside was hot too (35~38C) which for me isn't possible when you have a working air conditioner. My towels were dirty and they changed them eventually. People are nice, the hotel is well located and it was a big pretty hotel, however the device was just a bit slow and laisser faire.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 giorni presso l'Hotel. Ambiente tranquillo, molto silenzioso e pulito. Personale cortese e molto disponibile. Le camere sono ampie, confortevoli e dotate di aria condizionata. Molto pulite così come il bagno. La cucina è ottima e la colazione a buffet super abbondante e fornitissima!!1 Insomma siamo stati davvero bene. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!
