Perfect location, close to everything. And the best thing of all was the staff. The best Indian customer service you can find. Kudos to Niraj who checked us in and went above and beyond regarding everything. Wait staff at the restaurant- shout out to Rebecca, Shenoy, PC, Iba and the guy who made dosas - you guys were the best and made sure everything was seamless and perfect. Wouldn’t have asked for a better experience for mother-daughter birthday trip. Thank you guys for making it extra special

Unfortunately this Hard Rock falls short of some of basics you would expect. The water in the room never ran hot, it was tepid at best. Dreams of a lovely long shower turned into a quick splash and dash. The soft furnishings in the room were very grubby (stains on the cushions etc) and I felt like I needed gloves to move them. Breakfast was absolute chaos and average at best and getting a sunbed was impossible. The Saturday bottomless brunch went down well with Brits staying in the hotel, they seemed to get their moneys worth. The staff were friendly though. Bar prices are high so drink in Calangute if you are there for that.
I didn’t expect this to be high end like other Hard Rocks but it fell short of my minimum expectation.

The room was not safe at all. The smoke alarm in room and bathroom was both covered with tissue paper. Critical safety hazard.
Room service was terrible. Tried to order food for room service because we came at 10:30pm and was hungry. Once they said they will transfer to room service and then disconnected. Then twice they said they will call back and never called back. After calling again, no apologies or anything. After attempting twice and waiting an hour, we ordered food from outside from an app. None of the charging ports in the room work. This was a non safe and terrible experience stay for the money you took from us

Rooms were clean but there was strong smell of someone smoking cigarette the whole morning and when we complained, there was not much response from the staff!

Despite several rooms being available closer to lobby and reception, we were given a room far away in the corner in second floor which felt like partial treatment as the hotel had many foreigner guests!

Overall, it was OK experience, location is bit interior from the main road! Just outside is a stand with bunch of local taxi drivers who bullied our taxi driver as they wanted ‘lot’ more money from us!

For a Rae of 3000 INR for a whole day, the hotel gave us a quote of 6500 INR plus taxes!

Not happy at all!!!!!

Certainly not 5*… had to be shown 3 rooms before we settled on the last one which the best of a bad bunch to say the least. The first was simply filthy
Communal areas in serious need of maintenance
And food choices limited.
Ordered a hot dog for my child at lunch… the hot dog arrived 1hr and 15min later… the salad appeared a while after.
No turn down service in the rooms and dirty dishes piled up on the side of the restaurant

It’s a 3* at most!

Chaha was extremely sweet, polite, and caring in her behaviour, which made me and My Wife feel so comfortable. Dhiran was also very professional, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. I am very disappointed with the room they have provided me. It was very humid and even the door handle when we entered the room was fully wet with water drops. The passage area was very wet and slippery and there were no windows or balcony. It was very suffocating so we decided not to take the room and we checked out without staying at the hotel. We booked hotel for 3 nights and after many emails hotels.com was able to get us refund half the booking amount.

I felt like a rock star. I was greeted and instead of checking in at reception I was taken to my room and it was done there. I was welcomed by a plate of chocolates. With my Unity card, I had a choice of freebies. I chose a welcome drink and got a bucket of FOUR beers. Woo hoo. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Highly recommend

All was excellent except for a problem during a birthday dinner where the live food was cold and labelled inappropriately. I did make a complaint at the time which I was told would be investigated, however i had to chase the outcome multiple times. Nikki one of the managers was very good however the other manger wouldn't let me speak and continually spoke over me. I was given a resolution of 15% off food and beverage which the other persons in my group already had and when I told management that this wasnt satisfactory they refused to give me an alternate resolution. I work in radio and i am an influencer and I was looking forward to telling my followers and listeners about the great 50th birthday trip to hard rock hotel. All other aspects were fantastic from the breakfast to the room cleaning it was just the Tonic bar and food there that let the hotel down.

Blocked Shower Drain

My room was at the end of the corridor facing a wall (and not with the better poolside view) and was next to their rubbish dumping area.
The room size was good as was the bathroom and shower.
However, on the day of my departure, my shower drain was completely blocked and the water overflowed all over the bathroom floor and part of the bedroom.
I asked Reception for another room to shower in as I was in a rush to catch my
flight and they promised to do so but after 10 mins they sent a handyman to unblock the drain instead of allocating me another room as promised by Reception.
As unblocking the drain and cleaning the mess would have taken too long, I insisted on being given another room but this was not made available to me.
As I was short of time, I had no choice but to use the bathroom of the room opposite my room (where the bathroom had just been cleaned BUT the room was dirty & unmade as the occupants had checked out earlier. This was not a pleasant experience at all getting ready in an unmade room.
Reception should have been honest with me if they did not have other rooms instead of promising me one. This episode left a bad impression.

I was told check in at 3pm, when on Expedia letter it mentioned 2pm, I had long wait before room was provided. Its not a 5 star hotel - maybe 2.5 star- room given to me was dated, damp, flaking on wall paint with damp--work carried out after 12am -above my room- these went on all night with banging noise even after I rang receptionist. Breakfast is good- there was no welcome drink-just water was provided after I asked for it. I was ill next day and could not go for breakfast so I asked my wife to get me some fruit, toast and tea which the canteen staff refused to take -even though we had paid for breakfast- there are lot better hotels in the vicinity for premier price I paid.

The bar staff were really attentive and extremely helpful. The cleaning staff did an amazing job and they would clean your room twice a day.

It’s a lovely pool and we didn’t have any issues getting sun loungers. The only issue was that the sun loungers didn’t have any padding and were quite uncomfortable after a while.

Had an issue at check out as we were advised at check in and when booking the hotel online that we had 15% off food & beverages. When it came to check out, we were advised that it only included soft drinks. We challenged the fact it doesn’t state that on the website or in T&C’s and they did end up honouring 15% off alcoholic beverages too but we are certain that many people will have been ripped off by this in the past!

Overall, the hotel was good. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was comfortable! I’d highly recommend the pizza’s that you can order from the bar staff.

We unfortunately had a terrible stay at this hotel! As 2 woman travelling together my sister and I felt very unsafe as there were large groups of men also staying and they were very inappropriate towards us and there is not a security presence at the hotel to discourage this.
We also found animal droppings in our bathroom and the room wasn’t very clean.
The Wi-Fi did not work for a large proportion of our stay and room the staff a long time to acknowledge this and deal with the issue.

Being an outside entry hotel the staff is always cleaning up water from common areas, including hallways in front of guest rooms. Limited late food service menu. Breakfast was done when it was gone. Very difficult to get anyone’s attention to order anything. They just wanted everyone to get out so they could fill the rooms. Not a good experience. If you are going to have an open air reception, spend some funds on decent fans as the bugs and heat were ridiculous.

The hotel beds were very comfortable probably the best thing about this hotel! After moving room due to complaints of uncleanliness and noise waking us at 3am we were placed in a pool side room which were up to cleanliness expectations. However the rooms in this hotel you can hear everything outside your door even a pen drop on the floor! We ordered room service one night and the plates and tray didn't get moved until two days later off the corridor! The Saturday brunch was really good however hotel guests should be give the priority over sunbeds and also a discounted price! There are a lot of local men which come into the hotel for work/conferences etc and often come around the pool and take photos and videos if you are a young girl which was really uncomfortable! There should be a ban on phones/photography around the pool as you expect privacy whilst you are on holiday! The bar man sunny and restaurant man Santosh were fantastic also the pool guy! The sunbeds need a clean as they have sweat and dirt marks on them! The bar shut at 10pm which was really early after this time you could not even get a non alcoholic drink. The ban on alcohol for the elections should have been stated before you was able to book the hotel or even upon arrival since it only happens once every 5 years! We had a note put through the door one hour before the ban started which were for 3 days of our holiday and ruined it! The view photos of the rooms need to be updated as they are not what you expect!

Very relaxing check in and given unexpected complimentary upgrade. Dealt with by Chumki who was professional and charming. After being shown to our suite all amenities were thoroughly explained. We did find iit odd that we had to contact reception for WiFi code, hairdryer and robes if wanted etc but they must have their reasons for that. We ate in the restaurant that night. Service was personal and thorough. The food was excellent we chose the buffet. Breakfast again was professional and well organised. Everything we tried was tasty and the dosa’s were stunning. We checked out after a two night stay this morning and both of us feel a bit sad we won’t be there tomorrow. A hotel with heart warming staff, great food and a cool vibe. We loved it. Well worth a go.

They hotel is down a beaten and congested path but walkable to calangute beach and shacks. Room was well equipped and comfortable but we had issues with our lock that needed to be replaced. Service was always prompt and staff happy to assist and guest friendly. Breakfast was well selected with plenty of options. Gym could be better and the fridge wouldnt cool enough for me and did not have temperature regulation.

Nice hotel with a pool

Initially our experience was not at par with at 5 star hotel which Hard Rock is categorized as. After a conversation with the concierge/manager necessary changes were made and our stay was great. After leaving the hotel we missed the laid back vibe it had. The nightly entertainment by the pool was fantastic which created an energetic vibe at the hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

Good solid hotel with a nice pool. Bar has different themed events daily. 15-20 min walk away from the beach shacks, where you can enjoy music and Goan food. There is also a cab company right outside the hotel property in the alley, where you can get affordable sightseeing trips.

However, I would not recommend this place for a beach vacation, as the closest beaches are just super crowded and not relaxing at all.

It was ok, but I did have an issue with the bed linen one day. Unfortunately the linen had what appeared to be spots of black mould and also there was what appeared to be dried blood and something else on one of the pillows. The desk were helpful once asked, but it was disappointing to see during my stay. Other than that, it was fine

Great service! Need to rent a motorbike to get around. Saturday brunch gets a bit out of hand with guests from outside the hotel who are takijnbg advantage of the all you can drink buffet..
