It's been a while since I stayed in an Econo lodge. Came here for the price but this location hasn't been updated in a while. Furniture and floors were tattered. However the beds were incredible comfortable and overall clean, just old. The worker at the front desk was very friendly. There were some shady ppl around, but that can be expected when getting a cheap hotel. But I never felt unsafe. Made good use of the washer and dryer. We didn't check out the free breakfast. Probably wouldn't stay here again bc I got spoiled on Hilton hotels, but if you're trying to save money in the Yellowstone area, it's a good deal.

The room that they gave us smelled like dead fish. And then when we spoke to the person at the front desk they told us too bad they couldn't move us. We thought it was coming from the air conditioner they told us to go without air conditioning turn it off. The next day we finally did get moved to a different room but the lady was very rude in the beginning when we actually did tell her that the room smelled bad. She may need to have Management training again.

The whole place was disgusting, we checked into the hotel didn't look at our room left to go eat dinner. Came back carried everything in kids wanted to swim hurry changed went to the pool which was not good they jumped in before I checked everything. Made the get out because it was filthy all of it. Back in our room still hair and dry skin soap ring in bathtub, told front desk lady and she handed me cleaner and shredded rags. Upon looking deeper in room stains hair and filth in beds and everywhere. Took pictures booked a room elsewhere. Told front desk I was leaving and told them why, all they said was I understand! No refund because we're were checked in for 3 hours, what a joke. The desk personnel were as dirty and unkept as the hotel. Super ran down and dirty....do not stay there!

The rooms were fine and the breakfast was good but they stopped at 9 am which is early for many. The TV was difficult to manage with out some instructions from the desk. Not sure why they don't have any instructions in the room. The hot tub was not real clean and the jets didn't work which was disappointing.

Shabby appearance, rooms acceptably clean. Surly staff. Two lights in room didn't work, one burn out as soon a turned on, desk lamp did not have nearby plug. Only stayed long enough to sleep for a few hours before heading back on the road. Would not stay here again. Overpriced.

My overall experience was awful - the front desk staff who checked us in was rude and the place wasn't very clean. The room had a wired smell..maybe from the floor cleaner. The sofa and ottoman looked filthy....looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. During breakfast, the juice and coffee machine looked dirty. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel.

Very comfortable stay that had amenities available. Bed was quite comfortable and the room was quiet. For breakfast, They provided homemade waffles, cereal, bagels, orange juice, coffee, biscuits, and gravy along with sausages. Very close to historic downtown and easy access to the 90 freeway heading towards Bozeman.

The photos are very deceiving.
When you walk in the room and the same is overwhelming and then you see the ironing board first thing and a huge stain. Ick.

No screen on the window and I don’t think the window even locked. Found blood on the sheet- ummm, that should be a biohazard.

The night gal was eating when we showed up and had her dog (very cute)

The place smelled horrible, bugs all over the floor at the entry, how difficult is it to get a vacuum or sweep once a day. No- I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE. Two new hotels right across the street.

We chose this hotel because we have had good experiences at other econalodges.
1. The beds were very hard. Difficult to rest.
2. The tv was not usable. That system needs improving.
3. There was no coffee in the room. We ended up going down stairs to get some.
4. There was no elevator!!! We had to walk up stairs with our luggage after driving for 6 hours.

if your looking for a cheap place to sleep this is it. If you’re looking for amenities, newer facility and a good breakfast, this isn’t it. Staff was nice. Pool was out of order when we were there and that’s what we booked it for, otherwise we would’ve went elsewhere. A lot of things in need of repair there.

Since my last stay there 6 months ago, this property has gone downhill. Room was fine, clean, no problems. But I am a fan of hotels with hot tubs to help unwind after a long day. I was yold ipon check-in that it was up and running, working fine. But upon entering the pool area, I found the room cold. The hot tub jets did not work, the water was tepid, and had scum floating around the edges. So much for that, I didn't even try it. Brsakfast the first morning was fine, the second morning there were no eggs and sausages, the front desk attendant said not enough people overnight to warrant cooking! Very sad to see such a drastic change in 6 months.

The room was clean and in good repair. The hot tub was out of order, but the pool was heated. Thank you Econo Lodge in Livingston for actually heating your pool during the winter months. Breakfast was great, with lots of options. The Front Desk let me switch to a ground floor room when I heard that they didn't have an elevator. So Awesome! Thanks for making my stay so wonderful.

The 2 main things that I wanted at the hotel I stayed at was a Hot Tub and Fitness Room. After checking in, I was told the hot tub wasn't working.
When I looked at the Fitness Room, it was a JOKE!!! 1 treadmill, 1 eliptical and one cheap home gym weight bench but NO weights at all. I ended up doing a bodyweight workout in my room. What an absolute JOKE!
Then my TV wasn't working, so I went to call the Front Desk, but the room phone wasn't working so I had to go to the Front Desk. She said there's some \"weird glitch\" with the phones so they're not working.
The lock on the door for extra security had a hinge pin missing so it was very flimsy and of no use.

We were very disapointed in our room and the stay overall. We were provided a desk with a lamp. There was no outlet anywhere near the desk so the lamp could not be used. What few outlets that were provided in the room were so old and worn that nothing would stay plugged in so we were not able to charge our phones on hearing aids. There were stains on the sheets of the bed. I noted that they had standard residential washer and dryers not commercial machines. When I went to breakfast to get a cup of coffee I was told they did not provide decaf coffee. I don't recommend this motel and will not stay here again.

The motel needs some detailed work!

Outside of the motel needed some detailed work from painting, landscaping, and general cleaning.
The motel lobby was decorated with Halloween decor. I would have preferred Fall decor. It would have been more pleasing to see.
First floor hallway was dim. Needs more lighting.
The room was Ok, but needs detail cleaning ... I mean detailed cleaning.
The hot tub was really a \"cool\" tub. It was not hot at all.
The lobby needs detailed cleaning: windows, floors, and the dishes that have food in them like for apples and oranges. They looked dirty.
The TV in the lobby stayed on one type of screen. It would be nice and appropriate for the motel to have the Weather Channel on for those traveling to see how the weather will be when they are traveling.
*I will say that the young lady at the registration counter was very nice and friendly!
