The airport pickup was great at 2.30AM arrival and than check in was breeze, Hotel is in a busy CBD area so our stay was very comfortable as everything was close by, the business places, the shopping area, plenty of taxi's, restaurants, money exchange, SIM card office etc. The rooms were neat and tidy, the housekeeping was great. Had issues with the hot water shower but it was fixed promptly. The breakfast was not a lavish spread but good enough - value for money. Security was good enough at all times, Facilities didnt use due to time constraints at our side.

Avoid, disgusting hotel

This hotel should have 1 star on hotels.com. I can’t believe that a company like hotels.com would show this hotel as 3.5 stars on their booking site. The hot water needs to be turned on with a switch and it never even got warm with that. The lights are buzzing. The room was sooo filthy dirty and the bathroom even more. Tiles and paint was missing and the shower looked like something from a prison. We had booked 2 nights and landed in the middle of the night at 2am. We had no choice but to sleep there but in the morning we got out of there quick.

This place is not a 🏨 hotel! it is a dirty , smelling dump, full of flies and bugs cannot imagine they are renting this place.i had to leave this place the minute we got to the room OMG !!!!

Room for two only had 1 cup 1 tbag 1 towel 1 sugar and smelled musty. Shower flooded washroom.
Staff helpful and door security and help fantastic.
Normall Clarion is lovely

A great value hotel in Nairobi CBD.
We enjoyed our stay and had a good meal in the restaurant in the evening and coffee in the coffee shop in the morning.
Enjoyed the steam room after a day of sight seeing

Worst hotel. Filthy, noisy. We left.

This was a horrible experience. We were shown 2 rooms, our friend also 2 rooms. None were remotely acceptable. Not sure where the pictures and reviews came from, but not our experience. We had no hot water in our shower or sink, no AC, the carpet was filthy and wet, like a big dirty sponge. The rooms were noisy and no hope of opening a window as too noisy. This was a grim creepy place. The staff were trying to help, but this couldn't be fixed. Edwin at the reception desk was helpful and seemed to care, but when we met with Stephen, the General Manager, we were met with near silence. He couldn't have cared less. None of us was allowed a refund of any kind, but it was so bad we didn't at that point care, we just wanted out! If I could give zero stars I would.

The hotel has a bar, which was more noisy than the streets, where cars run 24 hours.

Staff were very helpful. Room was decent size and comfortable. Only had hot water for shower but no way to control the temperature so not very convenient. Location was good and explored the cbd on foot during the day. Restaurant also had good food and service.

Located in a busy area, lots of street shops and buzz around. I liked it, but in case you are looking for a peaceful area, this might not be for you. The rooms were basic and functioning. My bed was maybe a bit worn out as I could feel the bed springs. Some mosquitos were harassing me during a couple of nights, otherwise slept well. The restaurant is OK, while the gym/sauna etc. seemed to be small / worn. The staff was friendly and helpful! In overall, I was happy with the price / quality ratio.

good hotel for short stay.

Very good hotel in business ares close to everything.
Because of COVID, did not use much of the facilities even though they seem to be vary careful in cleaning.
Breakfast was good. For business stay this was just right for me and was not expensive like many Nairobi hotels. I would stay again there.

Great hotel, very nice staff

Hotel is very good, clean and looks new. Shower is also OK, even though the bathroom window didn't have a curtain. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Overall great value for money.
