The little place behind the dunes just out of town. Great friendly staff. Most of the rooms are behind the dune so ocean view on second and third floor. Enjoyable and quiet place for a visit.

Staff (esp Sam, Venessa and Vim) was excellent in this boutique hotel. Was very personable and always with a smile. We stayed for a week so we got to know them. We got the biggest room they had and it was worth it. It was too cold for the pool, but it looked nice. The upstairs terrace was the perfect place to watch the sunset with Table Mountain in the background as well. Also loved the free breakfast. Not only did they have a small spread with baked goods, fruits, yogurt, n breads, you order from their breakfast menu! We tasted most of it and we liked all of what we tasted. Def have the pancakes. They have a prof coffee machine so you can order however you like your coffee. Also we had one dinner there and the seafood platter for two was yums. It’s like <30min away from V&A wharf but it’s worth it. Def rent a car though. I stay here again and would recommend this hotel! Oh the beach! Just a short walk to the beach which was really nice with all the flora blooming. Twas nice and relaxing just to go there in the morning walking all that breakfast I just ate. Thanks to all the staff again!

Hotel was a lot smaller than I had expected but staff was very friendly and helpful! Bathroom shower and sink were slow to drain but they did. It has a beautiful view of Table Mountain and partial view of Atlantic Ocean!

This hotel is located away from the city but not too far. My room was gorgeous & very well maintained. It’s a boutique hotel so it’s almost like you’re staying in someone’s home bcs of the personal attention you receive. Ubers are very inexpensive so you can get to the main areas w/out spending too much money.

Excellent Hotel in Blouberg

Lovely boutique hotel in a nice quiet area on Sunset Beach, Blouberg. Direct access to the beach. The staff are brilliant and provide warm and efficient service. The room was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The restaurant is rceommended and the breakfasts were cut above what you get in a larger establishment.

The only slight negative was the bed was a bit soft (which is personal taste) and the Wifi signal was poor as we were at the end of the corridor.

Had a great stay at Bliss. Incredibly friendly staff, great location for walking the dunes and the views of Cape Town and Table Mountain are breathtaking. The room was clean , quiet and large enough. The bathroom was modern, clean , plenty of towels and had a great walk in shower! Recommended location if you want a quieter place to stay in Cape Town than the hub bub of the Waterfront.

Bliss Boutique is more of a bed and breakfast type of accommodation. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and make you feel right at home. The made to order breakfast is an added bonus and the on-site chef make fabulous dinners and desserts. The rooftop is available for lounging and drinks and the path to the beach is easy.

Uber rides to downtown are very affordable and the hotel contracts with a driver for airport or tours. We had a private wine tour that was very affordable and we were never rushed.

Not walkable (other than the beach), but still convenient and very peaceful!

Highly recommended! :)

The Hotel is very stupidly designed. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor and might be \"facing the sea\" but that view is blocked by the dunes completely.
The breakfast is served on de 1st floor where also the kitchen is located. As a consequence everything served in the restaurant needs to be carried up the stairs, no elevator! That Breakfast room is way too large and that room has a perfect view over the ocean. Next to the breakfast room there is a \"way too large\" bar that is useless.
A table at the side could have hosted the coffee machine etc.
Who puts a \" bar\" of 5,5 metres in a Boutique Hotel with maybe 10-12 rooms.

The rooms ar comfy but also very strangely designed. Normally the bed is on the opposite wall of the corridor that passes the bathroom.
Here the first thing you face is the bed itself with a headrest.
There is a small outside space that belongs to the room itself, but without separations between your room and the next. My neighbour brought his surfboard and kite and took up all of my space also.

Nice staff that cater to your needs.
Venessa, the manager, is super sweet. Works way too many hours and really makes you feel welcome.
She deserves a 6 star rating

Excellent all round

In terms of service, decor, and attention to detail, this was one of the best places we stayed in South Africa. Every member of staff were switched on and attentive. The hotel was nicely decorated in a modern way. Comfy bed, solar heated pool. Notable was the quality of food for both breakfast and dinner. Amazing views from the restaurant, but well worth eating here for the food alone.

This pictures aren’t very accurate of the rooms or amenities. The deck outside our room was shared and not private with a direct view of the large dunes that block the ocean view. The bed was super comfy, but the shower didn’t work very well. Also, no real mirror to help dry your hair. Free breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. The pool doesn’t sit facing the ocean,but faces another home. Finally, they lost our reservation for the last night, which was very disappointing. They offered another place across the street, but that is t what we wanted. The staff was very nice. Overall, it was an ok stay.

Real Blissfulness Experience

Coming out of the hotel and directly waddling the beach sand while facing Table Mountain in those tranquil mornings and evenings was pretty amazing and unforgettable. We really enjoyed our stay and felt rested after our holiday. The staff of the hotel was also very friendly and professional. Bliss personified indeed.

Super hotel. Staff were very friendly and with it being a small hotel it was a nice relaxing and a peaceful stay. Lovely breakfast with a large choice of cold and hot food available. Proximity to town centre but car hire is essential.

From the reception to the checkout the staff and accommodations were excellent. Jason is a great manager and host. The food was excellent and the dinning room a relaxing atmosphere with a great view of Table Mountain. The staff, without exception, were friendly and very good. Made your stay so enjoyable. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing several days.

The hotel is an excellent get away for a romantic weekend.

Awesome spot, friendly staff, fantastic chef. Location would suit those with a rental car... a different perspective on Cape Town... would stay again in a heartbeat... the 'waitrons' could use a bit of coaching at times in the restaurant, but very friendly. Great coffee too.

Outstanding hotel, fantastic room, great views from the breakfast area, great breakfast, super friendly service. Possibly my new favorite hotel in Cape Town. It is a bit far from anything (but the beach) so you need a car, and the room might be somewhat cramped for 2 people but for just me it was perfect.

What an amazing place. The location is picture perfect, the accommodation and facilities are of high quality, the food exceptional, but the thing that stands out the most are the staff and the level of personalized attention. By the time I left, I felt like they were family. It is highly recommended and I have no doubt that I will be back.

What a place

Let's start with the staff. In all my travels, the attending staff, especially the bar tenders, were the best I've experienced in years. They were so welcoming, polite and friendly, making it easy to relax after a long day, thank you guys.

The room was lovely, nice to arrive at the end of the day and feel pampered. My bed was turned down, gown and slippers were taken out for me with a chocolate on the bed to welcome me home.

The only negative was that, even after an attempt by the staff to fix it while I was out, the TV kept losing signal so I could not even watch the news.

But then, who needs TV when you can sit on the patio with the most magnificent view of the mountain and the best sunsets in SA?

little bit of \"charming\" chaos but bad managemet

First impression was quite good. The hotel is new and they warmly welcome us.

After 3 nights:
- towel rail broke even twice and second time nobody informed us. The manager said that we should come to him to tell. It would not be part of the job from the maid to inform the management... strange behavior in my opinion.
- the bathrobe and the towels are of poor quality. We got the fluff all over the room and our clothes as well.
- Breakfast was good but you cannot get any supplement what we did not expect. It was the order from the management... again strange behavior in my opinion.
- the ocean view is blocked by the dunes but you have a private access through a small path to the beach
- the team is still \"in education\" except the Chef. He is the best guy at Bliss and one of the only person who really looks for the guests. The management is absolutly driven by profit...
- I hope they keep our advisory in mind and increase the guest experience for future.

Unique Hotel in Residential Area

We arrived at around 7:30 PM and to our disappointment, the kitchen was closed for dinner due to staff training. There are many interesting restaurants in the area though. Our rooms on the back side, ground floor. It was quite shocking to see a huge sand dune as our view. There's a gate though from the hotel to the dune -- be sure to walk over the dune to find a nice beach!
Fabulous view of the Table Mountain, beach cove with hundreds of paragliders and parasailers! Go to the rooftop deck, Enjoy a drink from the bar, watch the sunset and take in the activity on the water. A very memorable afternoon to sunset!
We had a bad meal on our 2nd night but the dinner on the 3rd night was superb! Breakfasts are hearty and good!
Will definitely go back there.

Stylish hotel with super friendly service

This is a beautiful beachfront property in a quiet residential area. The staff is super attentive, it is very clean and the views are outstanding. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and staff will do everything to accommodate your needs. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood, don't expect shopping. I recommend it to couples, solo getaways, beach walks and to those looking for a beautiful, inspiring spot to write a book!

Bliss Boutique Hotel is a small exclusive and very friendly hotel.
The restaurant provides an individually cooked breakfast and a fine dining evening experience.
Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff therefore we would highly recommend a visit here.

Lovely Hotel. The staff went out their way to accommodate us and to make sure we were comfortable. There were a few teething problems - such as the towel rail kept falling off the wall, but the manager Jaco was quick to sort out the issue. The rest would be the restaurant, it would be better for the waitron to write the orders down. Overall, I would be back to stay at the hotel.

Great hideaway

Tucked into a residential neighborhood, on a secluded beach and wth beautiful views of Cape Town, it is hard to beat this hotel if you want to be away from the noise of the city. Exceptionally courteous and professional staff and a good kitchen. Will love to go back
