They are renovating so everything is a mess. Rooms old, air-condition barely worked, front desk at check-in didn't give any information about the property, can't get to a floor from the ground floor that leads to beach unless you have an acess code for the elevator, only 1 person fit on balcony. Just not coming back

We were really impressed with our room. It was spacious and clean. The only complaint was the beds. The beds were very uncomfortable very firm and didn’t get much. I’m a lil older with back issues so I tossed and turned. Woke up hurting, but my 27 yr old daughter woke up with complaints as well that her hips hurt. The bed linens were also very thin. All else was great.

I will never stay at this hotel. The pictures make the hotel look spontaneous but once you get there it is dirty and the pools had dead bugs and was just filthy over all. I regret booking this hotel. They don’t even have decent bedding. I checked out super early the next morning because I couldn’t take it anymore.

This property was the worst I have ever experienced in my life . Upon check in the staff and manager were very rude . I already had my room paid for and deposit. The check in process took 25 mins and when I asked what was going on I was told wait multiple times in a very rude manner . I was also told if I did not stop talking , that I would be escorted off the property. I then had a family of 9 people wait with me till the police showed up which later they also got denied and escorted off the property. The assistant general manager name is Shalonda and she is a piece of work . DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! AND I WAS NOT GRANTED A REFUND!!!!

They are remodeling the lobby so the front was not too attractive. We had 2 rooms. The first room was small and the shower didn’t work so we were moved to another room. That room was spacious and very nice. You could live in that room. Over all, I enjoyed my stay. The management were attentive to our needs.

We was there Saturday Sunday and Monday night there was no hot water the front desk was notified no one came and checked it also it looked like they was doing some remodeling but it was awful if the room was supposed to be painted How about finishing it Whycharge people resort fees clearly that's a Motel not even a Hotel please refund that 45 dollars extra that you charged So I won't recommend No one stay there until you finish the remodeling or tell the truth about what you are doing to that place

No where to park to check in! The room was not finished I guess maybe renovation?? Not advertised that way. No linens for bed like comforters or blankets! Very small pool towel from front desk. Property was dirty, pools were dirty, soap bars were so small that you could not shower with them. No shelve in shower or hand bars… as I said terrible. Oh and the refrigerator would not get cold.

Room was extremely nasty mold everywhere the floors were dirty. The stove was dirty. There was an altercation because my daughter wanted towels. Staff was very rude and nasty well at least one of the ladies the lady I personally spoke with she was all right. I frequently this hotel plenty of times but this time I did not get the same experience. I am very disappointed. I wouldn’t longer recommend staying here. Like I said, I do have pictures of everything. There was issues with the hot water in one of my rooms. The shower wouldn’t come on lots of things were wrong.

The hotel itself was not in a bad location, but service was not good. We checked in on a Sunday checked out on Friday and they double charged us and we have still not received our money on the day that we were checking out which was Friday. there was no towels in the room we had to ask for them we had to ask for more toilet paper. They didn’t check on us to see if we needed our room clean. We had to put a deposit on using pots and pans from the front desk of $35 which was refunded. The kitchenette had no handle on the stove and they were renovating during the night because we were in our room and you could hear banging from upstairs so I do not recommend this hotel for anybody.

Do not stay at the resort!!! They are doing renovations. That they do not tell you about. Also a huge dumpster in the parking lot when you first pull into the hotel. Definitely NOT A RESORT!!! They have caution tape in the lobby. The walls are taped and wrapped in paper in the elevators. There is no restaurant as advertised and no hot tub!!! Expedia refuses to give me my money nack amd I didnt even stay!!!! This hotel.is janky and complete u safe environment ro stay in. Plus constant having the police there!!! (Saw this bc i ended upstaying at the Seacrest which is 2 hotels away) beware and save your money dont even waste your time.

They are under construction and it wasn’t noted anywhere on the site. We booked a two bedroom with two bath and one of the showers/tubs didn’t work. Our room wasn’t very clean dirt/dust all over the floors. Smelled like weed. Hot tubs is under construction, someone has their dog in the pool with them. We did end up getting upgraded to another room and it was very nice and cleaner than our original room.

This property is under construction and should not be booking room stays with the condition of the hotel. It’s dirty, tubs have built up black scum around the fixtures, floor tile grout is black, doors are dirty, walls are dirty. Woke up at 430am to a flooded room, found out a pipe had burst and they knew it about it at 230 when a part of the first floor ceiling crashed in the lobby. They didn’t have any emergency maintenance plans in place. They did switch us to another room after I insisted. Pool area was gross. No umbrellas, a lazy river with no floats. Trash in the areas between the neighboring hotel that you could see from the balcony in the room. Would not recommend staying here and had I read the reviews before I booked, I most definitely would not have stayed here.

Resort was nothing like pictures that I saw on the site Check in went smoothly the hostess was very nice and so was the manager They worked hard at making things right This resort is under a renovation as far as I could tell A HORROR store of my stay started when I went into the unfinished room and saw the appearance I saw gross bath shelves and holes in the wall Wasn’t to concern but wasn’t to pleased either BED was CLEAN, the sliding doors didn’t lock in the suite Didn’t feel safe but I had my husband. Went out to the beach we had a dolly fishing cart to pull had to go the steps Really wasn’t a problem used to that kind of thing However we had to turn around cuz the beach access was closed Due to the city not the resort But just added to the frustration cuz we asked how to get to the beach and no one told us that you couldn’t get to the beach from there site Not probably the resort responsibility to know Would had been nice to know You had to walk down a couple of blocks to get to the beach then over the city’s dredging pipe After being out at the beach you want to come back and take a shower didn’t work 8pm Someone came an looked at it Also all the other things wrong Needless to say he said front desk would call I waited nothing, went to bed Woke up at 9:30pm with my phone ringing from the hostess saying she would change my room but the AC wasn’t as good I said I was as in bed Next day changed rooms AC not good, outlet didn’t work for coffee pot, etc…….BEST PART LEAVING

During my stay in Myrtle Beach I stayed here … first it was hard to find and it’s in the cut between two big hotels. When we checked in and saw the room .. it wasn’t like the pictures on the site .. it’s not safe to stay , we literally had to put the chair in front of the to keep the door clothes.. the balcony door didn’t lock and the parking is a block away , we had no beach view and the staff was ok but didn’t really talk or asked if we needed anything .. I only recommend this place if you need to stay overnight on something …

Walked into a room that had a Bojangles box in the bathroom the hair dryer was off the wall. The oven was on, yes on like cooking something. There is absolutely no view. Obstructive you means that you can still see somewhat of the water you can't see anything on this balcony except a parking garage and a big old palm tree. The room was very dirty with nats flying in it. I was just looking for a place to stay for one night until our resort day was available. I would have been better off staying in my car. The only upside was the man at check-in was very nice.

I wish they would let you know in the ad or somewhere that the entire building is under renovation. Parking deck was closed we had to park and walk 1/2 mile to get to the room. Two ppl got stuck on the elevator when I got there one was just finally getting let off after being stuck. I chose this hotel because of location to the beach and THE LAZY RIVER THAT WAS CLOSED! The elevator was scary we used it once after they “fixed it”. That’s after taking the steps over and over to the fifth floor. If you have ever been to Myrtle beach you know you’re going in and out walking all over. Having to use the stairs to avoid getting stuck in the elevator we didn’t do much. There is no peace at night. Usually when you go into a room and shut the door you don’t really hear too much. It was like we were sleeping on the street how loud it was. The door lock on the top of the door and the balcony didn’t lock or were missing! The toilet moves on U,Stove was rusted really bad and you couldn’t open the oven door because it was against the door frame. Came in to half a roll of tp. So previously used. Room I was in was sketchy. Drywall/molding? Looked like they just smeared spackle on it and said who cares it. Wall dirty and pictures hung to hid blemishes that peak out around the picture frames. No vending machines anywhere. Phone didn’t work. Give them sometime to do their renovations before staying here. Not like I could get a refund and go elsewhere it was bike week no vacancy anywhere in site!

This hotel scammed us. Let me first start by saying I don’t write reviews ever but I hope this helps someone else not lose their money or have to stay in an unsafe situation. We arrived at 11pm after driving for hours and upon arrival we pulled up to the front which looked like a back ally way. The door was locked so I called and was told they would come let us in. Walking in , the place was a disaster and completely under construction. I was reassured that the room would be fine. I had booked a king and double bed for myself, boyfriend and 3 little kids. We opened the elevator and there was ripped plastic skirting jaggedly hanging off the elevator walls and drywall all over it. My kids began crying saying they were scared. Walking down the hallway to the room, there were crosses on the doors, the doors were all open and it seemed that most of the hotel was vacant. Dry wall again , all over the floor of the halls and leading into the room. The room itself only had one bed. We seen the room and left. We were not going to allow our kids to breathe in drywall dust all night and felt unsafe. I asked for my money back at the front desk but was told to request it back from Expedia. Expedia told me I would need to have the hotel approve getting my money back. The hotel would not answer Expedia and would not answer our several attempts to contact them. It looked NOTHING like the picture, there was only one bed and filthy. I do not recommend staying here. We want our money back!

When we arrived my was lready charged. The front desk manager was excellent to provide me with getting parking and room service. We asked for a suite with king beds but that was changed and my room was with one full bed with the bathroom was down the hallway and not in my room. The 4th floor was being renovated and the hallway from elevator to room had debris that could have been harmful to me as i am on a rollator with a disability. After filing a complaint i was moved to 8th floor. The walkin shower there didnt work. The manager did make me comfortable for the rest of my stay. Pics were taken as to hazard if you need them. I will not stay at this location again.

They are undergoing construction on several floors. The parking area underneath and the hallway leading to room was cluttered with construction stuff. The room was very spacious. Some electrical outlets did not work, but we made do for the 2 nights we were there. Great view of the beach from our balcony. Saw the sun rise the 2 mornings wew were there. Just beautiful!

The hotel was under construction which was not mentioned on the online booking. There were no wash clothes and limited towels because the dryer was not working. The walls had signs on them that stated wet walls. All in all the hotel looked abandoned and dirty because stuff was all over the floors, mattresses in the hall and other things. The rooms were ok the bathroom only had a half of a roll. The hotel was ok for a one night stay for adults. I would recommend taking children.

What should have been a special weekend for my daughter, who was in town for a cheer competition, turned into an extremely stressful and disappointing experience due to the poor condition of the hotel and the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and basic accommodations we were promised.
From the moment we checked in, the issues began.
Our first room was unacceptable. The bed sheets were visibly stained, which immediately raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of the room. In addition, the room was located facing the parking garage, and we were forced to endure constant vehicle noise throughout the night, making it very difficult to rest.Because of the condition of the first room, we were moved to a second room, but unfortunately, that room was no better and created even more inconvenience. We went from having two beds to only one bed, which was not appropriate for our stay. The bed in the second room was also very uncomfortable and bowed in the middle, making it difficult to sleep and clearly not in suitable condition for guests.
The second room also had several unacceptable maintenance and housekeeping issues, including:
No running water in the kitchen sink
No towels in the room upon arrival, requiring us to go back downstairs to request them
A shower with extremely low water flow
A shower head that was not working properly, making it nearly impossible to shower comfortably
To make matters worse, the hotel was clearly under renovation, yet

It was just my husband and I, we had a king size bed with full kitchen and oceanfront. I was blessed with witnessing the dolphins swim along side the beach, absolutely beautiful! Our check in process was easy and very friendly. The manager, Shorlanda and her associates were very helpful. I didn't realize that my card had already been charged for the room and I was trying to pay in cash. Shorlanda and Shanoi quickly realized what happened and called me back in to give me my money back. Very honest and friendly staff! The hotel is under construction right now (March 2026), so please expect that when you go. Our room was beautiful! How you're made to feel upon check in can affect your whole trip, actually wanted to stay longer. Thank you to the staff for helping us have a relaxing, and enjoyable weekend! I do recommend it, and we'll be back.

Nothing went well. From walking through the door to getting in the room. Coming through the door there was construction going on from the door all the way to the back of the hotel. This was on every floor.

As far as the room, nothing was as advertised. The tv remote didn’t go to the tv. Took four hours to get the correct remote. There were only three pillows on the king size bed. The blanket was decent. There wasn’t any towels or rags in the room at all on our arrival and the service was the worst overall!

Looking at the pictures online the hotel looks like a 5 star, clean hotel with great amenities but when you arrive it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned ever plus the toilet didn’t flush unless you add water to the tank, they had a kitchenette yet not one single utensil, pot, cup unless you pay $35 to use them. As for the stove one out of four burners worked.

This place is under a complete renovation and no where on the site when booking does it state that. The photos of the place are all stock photos and this place looks nothing like them.

Construction crews everywhere, elevators sounded like they were going to crash down to the ground.

We switched rooms bc the first had no view, there was a random kid shoe we found.
The second room was a disaster. Mold in the bathrooms, broken pieces on all furniture.

3 tvs and only 2 remotes.
Phone didnt work to call the front desk.
Holes in the wall. Thin bedding, pratically a sheet only. The toilets barley flush.

Booking site listed a heated pool NONE are heated, the hot tub doesnt work, not hot at all.

This place shouldnt have guests at all.

The front desk clerk/manager (whichever title the male represents) has the worst customers service I've endured ever in life. My husband and I were traveling back to Georgia when my husband realized that he didnt have his wallet. My husband knew the last place he possessed his wallet was at Pallette Hotel, in the bedroom, on the night stand. My husband called back to the Hotel to inform the front desk male staff that he left the wallet in the room and was sure that the wallet had fallen in between the night stand and bed. The front desk male stated he would have staff go check the room and give us a call back. It took my husband and I several times to contact the front desk hotel for an update. The front desk male was ignoring our calls because he did not want to take the time to honor our request of going to the room we stayed in to verify the wallet was there, as we knew it was. We eventually called from a different number, the front desk male answers, knew exactly who my husband was and stated \"Shawn Moon, we sent staff back to the room and we didn't find your wallet\". This answer did not sit well with my husband and I. We asked a family friend, who was also on vacation in Myrtle Beach, to go by the hotel and request to check the room. When our family friend arrive, the front desk male was still there, giving her the same answer. Even saying the room was occupied. Another employee heard our request, went to the room, found the wallet exactly where we told her it would be.

we had an oceanfront room at first with two bedrooms and a pull out couch with a kitchen. when we got in our room nothing was hooked up and the fridge and oven were pulled out and the floor underneath where they sit was disgusting. Smelt like cockroach/ bug spray killer and the floors were slick with a greasy film over them. we saw baby roaches in the sink when we arrived and then several big adult roaches later on at night while we were trying to eat dinner. we got refunded and moved to a smaller non ocean front room. we were told it was a bigger room when we were moved but they informed us that it wasn’t oceanfront so that was expected, however the size of the new room was not. i’m just happy i got a full refund for the room and the staff was nice.

Worst Hotel Experience – Unsafe, and nasty

The conditions were unacceptable and far below reasonable standards of cleanliness and safety.

Upon arrival, I discovered bugs in the room, rusted bathroom fixtures, broken furniture, and unsafe equipment with exposed wiring. The air smelled strongly of mold, and nothing about the room felt sanitary or secure. These issues made the stay intolerable and completely ruined what was meant to be a relaxing vacation.

This experience not only caused discomfort but also raised serious health and safety concerns. No guest should be subjected to such conditions, and I believe the property is being misrepresented as suitable accommodations.

the rooms was not clean at all and then the bathroom was flooding and floor at a lots of things on the floor and the manager was nasty and they don't want to give my money back and if u drop something on the floor and come back and get it they will trash it fast and the pictures don't look the same so don't get this rooms

The place was very dirty at the switch rooms at check in due to food stuck all over the sliding door and sill. All the scenes in the ad, do not greet you at the door. Perceptionary was filthy. The worms were dirty, the pool was dirty and certainly not what it shows on the site. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

This was a great stay for me and my family. My teen was able to sleep in the living room on the sleep sofa and have her own space. We enjoyed our privacy and being able to have meals inside thanks to the kitchenette. Had two balconies and two really soft beds in the suite. Will book again

This property was the worst of the ones around it. To start the trip off, I had done a book now, pay later option. Luckily I was called bc they told me that if I didn’t pay the first night by 1 (can’t check in until 4) then my reservation would be cancelled.. couldn’t even find a a manager to talk to! And the lady l was talkin to about it, GOT ATTITUDE with me “I’m not goin back and fourth” LIKE EXCUSE ME! Got there, and the guy at the front desk.. ARGUED with me about it instead of letting his customer feel heard.And the place STUNK! There was maid carts in the relaxing areas and all around just below average. My room was very big but just overall outdated. Appliances are rusted. Room furniture is bulky and ugly. I’ve never wrote a bad review and I travel a lot. I made it a point to do this review..

What I liked was that the price was reasonable, staff were friendly and we had access to the beach from the resort.
What I didn't like was there were dead roaches all over the bathroom floor, the change filter light was on on the AC unit and the bath towels were stained with brown spots. After sleeping in the room for 3 nights I ended up with a sore throat and losing my voice due to breathing air that was being filtered through the dirty filter in the AC unit. Fortunately we were only there to shower & sleep each night, we did not spend much time at all in the room due to my children playing in a softball tournament all day. Pictures online are very deceiving and make the place look nicer than it was. It was disappointing.

The hotel was humid and musty smelling. Old looking. It had a kitchen with nothing in it. no glasses, plates, cooking ware. Nothing. The door was hard to open and close. No pillows on the couch.

Arrived at 5pm didn’t get checked in until 8:30 room was not ready. The decor is old and the room wasn’t very clean. There was left over hair in the bathroom. Left over items from previous person stay. And this morning I saw a roach crawling out of the stove. The pictures are retouched the furniture and items are worn and are dirty. I will not be rebooking at this location. It is definitely false advertising.

It served it purpose!!

It was a decent stay. First room lights didn’t work microwave busted and refrigerator would not close. As a result had to switch lady at the desk well it will be same as what you got, because I asked for ocean view and she states I didn’t request for ocean view. 2nd room tub drainage issue had to modify and the lights didn’t work well in the second room but we settled.

Rooms are nothing like the pictures.Its very outdated and they have the nerve to charge a deposit.What can you possibly damage.They charge for everything.A kitchen but no kitchen supplies.You have to pay for those.You pay for housekeeping to clean your room.The TV is so small.Its not enough room in the kitchen.I cleaned the room before we left and it looked better than how it looked when we got there.Im not gonna even talk about the pool area.They need to do some major changes if they want people to come back.

When I first arrived I noticed this wasn’t the place I thought it was but I still have it a try…so when I checked in I ask the front desk about out/in door pool and jacuzzi she then said that they have an outdoor pool and yes, they had a Jacuzzi come to find out. They did not clean the pool at all the whole weekend we were there the Jacuzzi was out of order. The whole building looks rundown we get into the room. There’s dirty towels from the people being for us hanging in the bathroom, molded couch, the air conditioner was leaking all on the floor, the remote to the TV fell apart, and just one more thing the curtain in front of the balcony window was hanging halfway off, which we fix that and the remote before leaving. The room floors were disgusting black on shoes and socks. Will not never come back there and will be very mindful the next time.
