This resort is huge! It's like a maze with many hallways leading to unusual places.
The location is ideal. You're away from the busy city. The drive can be challenging if you're not used to narrow roads.
The staff provide informative and excellent customer support.
This is my 2nd stay here and will stay here again next year!

Come stay here if you drive. The room, the view from the balcony and the public bath looked just like that in the pictures, pleasant. We came for the onsen and the view and completely loved the public bath facilities and the massages (yonna course). Inside the spa building they also serve simple lunch everyday and dinner (weekends only) There’s also a gym with quite a few machines, a 25m pool and games for rent.

The hotel offers a great view and unlimited use of it's hot spring. The rooms are spacious and ample free parking space. Definitely a gem in Nanjo. If you are not dining at the hotel you should know nearby options are limited but if you're exploring Nanjo by rental vehicle then it is good.

This is an older hotel/resort, and it shows a bit. Our traditional room was a bit worn, particularly the private spa bath, which was rather corroded, with mold on the ceiling. I realize the climate and the spa room are both very humid, and I don't have the experience to know if this is just considered normal. The buffet dinner was excellent though, and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful Onsen facilities. Very special muddy salty 40 - 44 degree C baths.

This is a very Japanese hotel. We liked the Japanese room. It was large, with a nice view looking down towards a village and the Pacific. For an American, this was a very unusual hotel, very nice. One and only one downside is this place is a bit difficult to get to or get from. Taxi is pretty much the only option, and this place is a bit \"out there\" so we rang up a lot of taxi fares.

Again, the onsen and massage services are fantastic. Cleared up my son's skin problems is three days. Very nice. Breakfasts very good too. Very Japanese, very good.

What I Like : It was a great experience with stay in a traditional Japanese-style room with attached bathroom. There was also balcony with great view. Very decent room size for a family of 3, that has a foyer to remove shoes before entering room. We had given access to the lounge that offered light snack and drinks. Staffs were courteous even though they spoke limited English. There was onsen in next building free for guests to use but we didn't have time to enjoy it due to very short stay at this hotel.

Disadvantage : This hotel is located on a hill which gives very good view overlooking the town and sea but it's also quite remoted. There was not much in the vicinity. Probably need to drive to get to out to find other amenities that hotel does not offer.

Hot spring in the hotel is the best one in town. Very traditional, relaxing while the sea no matter you are in the male or female onsen area. Although you may encounter a lot of elderly, thinking it is a outdated hotel, it offers a great value of money.
We booked a Japanese style room with private bathroom. It was spacious. But if you plan to take a shower at the public bath, you may opt out the private bathroom.

Being an onsen hotel, it is tucked away in a quiet and serene environment, but a short drive/walk to the main road, there's a convenient store for some necessity. Staff are friendly and helped recommended some nearby restaurants for dinner. My traditional japanese room was over looking the sea. Breakfast was great too. And I love that they provided takeaway cup for coffee so that you can bring back to room to slowly enjoy. Coffee was free flow btw. Onsen was at an annex building, but nearby to hotel. The only drawback was the hotel has no lift, but the hotel staff helped to carry the luggage up the stairs so that was good.

If you want to expose yourself to ordinary Japanese culture, this is the place where you can enjoy bathing in hot springs , enjoying Shiatsu massages, and talking to locals. I do Kendo in WA and happened to talk with Okinawa Kendo sensei as his middle and high school students were there to practice. The Japanese style room was big and tidy. My families enjoyed their Omotenashi sprits, rooted in Japanese mindset of hospitality centering around care rather than expectation. I highly recommend it!!

This was the first hotel we stayed in during our trip to Okinawa. Parking is free and ample.
They have a public bath-house located at the Apeman Spa that had many dipping pools and I used it twice during my one night stay in the hotel.
Breakfast was mediocre but the spread was reasonable. The restaurant had a sweeping view of the ocean.
Our room was comfortable and we rested well after our red eye flight.

Yuinchi Hotel is fantastic! We booked a Japanese family room which is very spacious and has a sea view too. However, the toilet is not well ventilated, so there is a lingering stench.

The onsen is located in another building, a short walk from the main one. The pools face the sea too, and it is so great having this view while enjoying the onsen!

The breakfast buffet is substantial with a good variety. They even provided organic milk from the local EM farm!

The carpark is quite dark at night, because there are only a few street lights. Yuinchi is located on a hill, so it is also quite chilly at night.

Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at. Highly recommended.

Although I wouldn’t say that I had a bad experience, it wasn’t so good, either. The room was nice and clean, but it had this smell that, although it wasn’t a stink, it was annoying. I never expect to sleep in a room with an unrecognizable odor. It seemed impossible to get breakfast in spite of my willingness to pay for it. I decided to leave after the first day.

The hotel itself is good, and the fact that they provided free spa is also good.
The location is not very good - public transportation goes very seldom. On foot it is not really possible get to beaches or surroundings sightseeing spots.
The dinner buffet was overpriced and quite poor (52$ for two), while it was possible to get nice meal at the spa complex nearby for 6-7$, but personnel at the lobby didn’t inform us about it, so we had to find it other day ourselves.
The morning buffet is nicer than dinner, but there are not that many fish options.

They noticed it’s my birthday and gave me a room upgrade to the ocean view suite upon checkin. Very attentive of them. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The spa /hot spring onsen available to all guest was great, it had a steam room, Norman onsen, cold pool and I especially lliked the medicine And the spa came with amazing view of the town and beach. A fantastic hotel!

We are a family of 4 and the room was huge for Japan hotels’ standards. Access to the free hot springs was a bonus after a long tiring day of sightseeing. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Okinawa and who doesn’t want to stay in Naha area. We will definitely be back to try the outdoor pool the next time we visit (it is only open from 1 Jul)

It’s a big hotel, ample carpark and big room with very nice view of the ocean.
However because it’s big, breakfast need to Q to get in.

What we didn’t like was the hotel facilities all not free to guests!
Imagine you have to pay to swim in the hotel!
Even the snooker table and other sports facilities need to pay per person per use!
The operation timing was very odd too!
We went to gym at 12 noon it was closed, we went 7pm on another day it was closed!
End up we stayed 3days without single use of the facilities!

This hotel is just ok. I was disappointed with the overall facility and lack of offerings available to guests. The location is a bit far, nothing is close ie. restaurant and shops. The one great thing was the “spa” which is basically an Onsen. This was included in the price but the pools and gym had a surcharge and for almost $200 a night it should be included!

* Quiet and suitable if you have a car. A good base for exploring the south Okinawa. Besides the on-site restaurant, there are restaurants within 10-min drive.

* We got upgraded to a One-bedroom Suite with sea view and 64 sq.m. on the top floor of new Annex Building. It is very spacious and the bathroom is large with a good bathtub. The sea view rooms overlook the city and Nakagusuku Bay.

* Staff were friendly with very good service, though their English is fair. We stayed in November in two separate nights and got upgraded.

* Both buffet breakfast and dinner have good value for money. There were different kinds of tofu dishes. There was even soft ice cream with cereals during breakfast time. Buffet dinner was only 2,680 yen. Restaurant Sunpeer has nice city & ocean view.

* Free, super good natural onsen Apeman Spa (猿人之湯) with very nice city view & ocean view & sauna open at 07-2300 (last admission 2230). Both oil massage and body massage were good at 4,400 yen for 60 minutes. Indoor swimming pool is only open during weekends and public holidays.

* Free parking in a big car park but not covered.

Great hotel with onsen and an amazing sea view

Fantastic hotel at such a great value! The hotel is located on top of the mountain so the drive up at night is quite dark and can be driving narrow road if following the google map. The room is clean and very spacious with an amazing view. The price includes onsen entrance which is right next to the hotel. A great onsen experience as it overlooks the view of the port and sea. We went in twice to see the day and night view in the onsen bath place. Highly recommend to stay here!

the room had an odd design blocking the view to the sea so although advertised as seaview only when stepping out of balcony you could see it. besides rooms are very basic , internet was too slow but we liked the quite location and the onsen. the only restaurant open in hotel we didn’t like it at all , only buffet no à la carte options and the buffet was not appetizing just mass very average so we went out for all meals
