Very helpful staff. Arranged trips for us and couldn't have been more helpful. The thermal pool was divine. Good continental breakfast. All round lovely location and great place to stay. Highly recommend.
Other tips not related to hotel was the overpricing of the taxi drivers. Not consistent and very expensive indeed! Charged 30 euros for a short drive to the port which was around a mile away. Plus between 15 and 20 euros to go less than 2 miles to other places.

This was our seventh holiday to Ischia and the third consecutive year that we have stayed at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera. The staff team, from housekeeping, to reception, to the restaurant, cannot be faulted and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily.
We stay half board as the food is great. I particularly enjoy the fish dishes and the Ischian rabbit, and there are options that would suit most people. We saw people that stayed at the same time as us last year so the hotel is clearly doing something right.
There is a wonderful shaded, seated area next to the outdoor pool that is perfect for simply relaxing or reading books and an outdoor bar to keep you hydrated. There are plenty of sun loungers around the outdoor pool and gardens. The indoor thermal pool is around 38 degrees and is great for tender joints.
When you have done relaxing, Lacco Ameno is a 2min walk from the hotel. There is a bus stop outside the hotel entrance and over the road, as well as a taxi rank for when you want to explore further afield.
Reception can arrange your airport transfer which takes the stress out of using a third party.
Are we returning to Ischia next year? Yes. Will we stay at Albergo Terme Villa Svizzera? Most definitely!

We love Villa Svizzera

The staff, from reception to the restaurant manager and his team, and last but by no means least, the amazing housekeeping team made our 2nd stay as unforgettable as our 1st for all the right reasons. Everyone takes pride in their role. We had great food and a relaxing break. When our return flight was cancelled on our final evening reception were able to accommodate us for an extra night and rearrange our transfer for our new departure date which took a great deal of stress out of the situation.

This was my second time at this property since I am genuinely fond of this hotel. The room was perfect however this time it was overlooking the main road so it was a bit noisier. The rooms overlooking the back garden are far quieter. Unfortunately we felt the bar-man at the pool was extremely rude and unpleasant. We are not sure why such a personality would be placed in such a position and felt disappointed by his attitude. Otherwise we would still like to return here when back in Ischia.

Perfect Stay

This was our fifth visit to the island of Ischia, and we loved the hotel. The hotel staff were fantastic and the quality of the food was excellent. The restaurant manager and his team are absolutely first class. There is a great selection of wines available. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed including a great air conditioning unit and mini-fridge.
There is ample seating both inside and outside the hotel and plenty of sun loungers around the pool and in the gardens. The outside pool is a heated saltwater pool and the indoor thermal pool was around 36 degrees with a number of jets to massage aching joints.
The location is perfect and when you want to explore there are bus stops and taxis outside of the hotel.
We booked our transfers through the hotel and everything worked seamlessly. We'll be returning next year

Staff and breakfasts great, shame about bathroom

The bathroom was tiny, hardly room to turn in the shower. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water temperature varied widely all the time. In the back block there is an electric motor (?pump) in the basement which goes on and off all day and night.

Very enjoyable. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Excellent shower in ensuite. Buffet breakfast adequate, a wider variety of fresh fruit would be nice.
Elderly clientele, no pressure from posing beauties at pool! Didn't bother us, nice old Italians enjoying the sun!
Very few Islanders speak English, a little Italian would be an advantage. Mist tourists Italian and German.
Walton Gardens- La Mortella and the Aragon Castle well worth a visit.

Lovely hotel, as long as you speak Italian

An excellent hotel for all age groups. Nice pool with poolside bar, excellently situated for shops, beach, transport. They have their own minibus to take you to a lovely beach cove and thermal spa at various times of the day.They have a very good full board price (but that means you would have to stick around or be back to the hotel for lunch)or just b & b. We ate there some evenings and food very good. Waiters and staff very eager to please. Unfortunately, if you do not speak Italian, then it is difficult to get information as the English of the main receptionist is apparently non existent. This made it awkward for us at times because our Italian was worse than basic and we were given wrong information - or none at all.

Excellent séjour à Ischia

Très bon accueil et service par Luigi avec de bons conseils des choses à faire et des restaurants. L’hotel et les chambres sont très propre. Le seul petit aspect négatif est la climatisation dans les chambres qui est vieillissante et ne fonctionne pas très bien. La piscine extérieure est très agréable pour se relaxer au soleil. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et complets.

Tutto eccellente! La posizione è perfetta con fermate del bus proprio davanti l'horel. Si mangia benissimo, la piscina e tutta la struttura sono tenuti benissimo e si sta meravigliosamente bene. Ti organizzano qualunque cosa, dai mororini alle gite in barca. E lo staff è superlativo per gentilezza e professionalità. Lo consiglio a tutti, a persone di ogni età. Grazie di tutto.

Trivsamt hotell vid kusten. Bra mat, trevlig personal, bilparkering finns på hotellområdet. Mysigt litet poolområde i hotellets trädgård. Nära till Lacco amenos restaurang- och shoppinggata.

Villa svizzera

l'albergo si trova in una posizione privilegiata in quanto è adiacente al corso di Lacco Ameno ed è di fronte al mare, inoltre la fermata degli autobus è a 20mt .La struttura , così come le camere, è tenuta molto bene . L'unica pecca che ho riscontrato è stata, a mio avviso, la scarsissima colazione veramente deludente non certo da 4 stelle.
Nel complesso lo consiglierei soprattutto a chi non vuole spostarsi con mezzi pubblicì
( spesso strapieni per la presenza di tanti turisti).

Bellissima struttura vicino al centro di Lacco. Da qui partono autobus per tutta isola molto comodi anche se ad agosto affollati. Il personale è molto disponibile sia per il mangiare che per consigli sulle visite.colazione ottima e buffet alle cene super!!relax. ..La piscina termale il top!

Ottimo fine settimana trascorso ad Ischia e presso la struttura. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile ad accontentare le esigenze della clientela e camere eccellenti.

Unico problema riscontrato, in 2 camere diverse, Wifi non sempre bene funzionante.

L'hôtel est très bien situé,joli jardin.

L'hôtel se trouve à proximité des commerces, du port des pêcheurs,possibilité de grandes promenades à pied .
Les chambres sont extrêmement propres,et la piscine des thermes très agréable(séjour hiver).
La terrasse ,le jardin et la piscine en font un endroit très plaisant.
Le personnel est compétent et fort agréable.

Very basic hotel, very affortable, mainly targeted for retired Italians coming to bath and therapy. Good looking hotel and nice pool and environment, but low level of service. Airconditioner wasn't working in one of our rooms, breakfast assortment was quite narrow and the hotel wine in the pool bar was awful.

ottimo hotel in mezzo ai giardini

Ottima la posizione in centro e di fronte alla fermata dell'autobus. Oasi di pace in mezzo a bellissimi giardini. Molto bella la piscina esterna e piacevole quella interna con l'idromassaggio.
