The breakfast money was really good. Lots of different variation. And very attentive stuff. Working this industry myself as an executive chef and f&b manager for 30 years all over the world. I do believe though that the breakfast room is just to small compare to the size of the hotel. It always felt extremely crowded and hectic at any time. I also had a dish in the main restaurant for dinner which absolutely disappointed me since none of the items described on the menu matched the actual dish except the half half of lamb which was not declared as half. The description of the meal was a rack of lamb on Ratatouille with a rosemarine jus and asparagus. What I got was tomato paste, onions, carrots and the four pieces of rack of lamb. When I ask for the Jew I got a thick brown sauce with dried rosemarine out of the container. Nobody cared about asparagus or what Ratatouille actually is. I pointed this out but no one seems to care really. I didn't eat it until I showed it to the managers while I was in the restaurant (I hate wasting food) yet I paid full price minus my Expedia VIP 20% discount. All in all this is a hotel which would be a three-star hotel in Switzerland, but charges Western prizes to to visitors. I would also recommend more training in food knowledge to the waiters like a orientation about what they selling? And then again I have to remind myself I am not in Dubai or Switzerland or North America or Europe and other fancy places.

Great hotel on the Bay in what I would call the downtown area. For the unaware, be advised that downtown is not the nicest part of the city, though. Too many touts on the street wanting to steer me to certain bars and activities. I just don’t enjoy being asked constantly “where you from, where you go, what you looking for?”.

Initially booked for 1 night stay then decided to extend for another day. The following day on our first night at around 1030 in the morning we suddenly heard noises, like a jack hammer from another room. Called front desk and was told that will check on it. After 5 mins I called again as there is still the same noise. Front desk then said will call duty manager. 3rd call they said will transfer us to a different room. After waiting for almost an hour with that noise they could have acted quickly. They could have also anticipated at checkin that there will be construction noises at that part of the hotel and avoided putting us in the room. Also they could have proactively upgraded our room but they only gave us the same room type with all the inconvenience exprerienced.

The Hotel staff at check in were superb. I checked in quite late and they gave me an upgraded corner room which was great. I think the rooms are in need of a refurb. For a 5 star they are very dull and very brown. Even the furniture is old and tired. I assume they must be doing work on some of the rooms as there was work going on everyday, which i was made aware of at check in plus a letter in the room but nothing to pre warn before arrival. The tv was not a smart tv, which you would expect from a 5 star. We ate once for the lunchtime buffet which was almost 6500 php for 2 people which i thought was way too expensive. If i had known that i would have went to Robinsons mall which is 5 minutes away. The neighbourhood is mental, very busy with lots of traffic, but that is basically Manila in general. I will be back but will probably stay in makati as there is much more going on. But i will say the staff were excellent in every way. Thank you for making stay comfortable.

Stayed for over a week. When I checked in I inquired with the hotel restaurant how much breakfast was. I was told it was 1400p. I decided to eat breakfast nearby for under 400p for the first 2 days. I went back to the hotel restaurant and then I was told I had complimentary breakfast. Wait a minute, I was told I had to pay. Well it turns out for the first 2 days I skipped eating in the hotel to save money. I did not appreciate the deception and misinformation. Please explain to guests what amenities are included. NOWHERE in my reservation did it say breakfast was included. I took my concern to hotel manager and got a rude attitude. Manager (Andi) offered a discount at the lounge. Placating with a discount is not what I was looking for. And I didn't appreciate the response: \"What do you want, sir\", with a disrespectful smirk on her face. There are many hotels in Manila. You have choices. Skip this one, you can do much better. Lesson learned for me.

The only draw back if I was to pick at something it would be more western style food on the menu in the one restaurant and the pool is only 3.5 feet deep I like a pool that is bigger and has an area at least 8 to 10 feet deep and a slide would be nice.. other than that it was an Awesome stay..
