This place was a disaster from beginning to end. I booked it not reading reviews and am completely regretting it. Nothing worked, no internet, moldy fridge, no working phone...etc. if we touched it, chances are it was broken or not working. To the credit of the cleaning staff, it wasn't and issue of cleanliness, but a matter of being a severely outdated and run down hotel. A shame because the location is really nice. As nice as the area is, you are better off staying at any other place. It seems like this hotel just gave up caring.

Would stay again!

Enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. Walking distance to the downtown stretch and beautiful harbor views. As typical there is no AC and only a sheet is provided as cover on the bed. There was a standing fan tho, and the balcony was a great addition!

Gorgeous town of Jelsa walking distance with all the Croatian charm and beauty we had hope
For.
Room was clean A/C worked great for those hot summer Croatian days and nights.

Overall property needs a good facelift- however views, scenery and wonderful clear pristine Adriatic sea water allow for leisurely swims make up for it! Would definitely return to this property. We gave it a chance for the price point and didn’t regret it!

It is a beautifully situated hotel with amazing views, but the rooms could be updated. We reported wall sockets hanging dangerously off the wall on the second day and nothing was done.

Disappointing hotel saved by views and location!

Overall this place was a bit of a disappointment. The whole resort is a bit sad and outdated. However the location is great and the views are stunning! I think the place relies on that to keep people coming back. The food was distinctly below average. The service is overall quite poor apart from one member of staff who checked us in at reception. (Really helpful guy with a shaved head). Didn’t get his name unfortunately but he is carrying his colleagues in terms of customer service. Went above and beyond to help us to our room and to give recommendations of where to go on the island. Aside from him, service is very poor!

The rooms are clean, in fairness, so if you can cope with bad food and very, very outdated rooms then this is a decent base for a trip to Hvar. It’s a clean place to sleep in a brilliant location with exceptional views from the balcony. But nothing more than that.

It was terrible... I don't know why They call it as resort. It's looks like an abandoned building... So dirty and old estructure. The fun was so dirty and they didn't have an extra one to replace. Terrible accomodations and service. I will never recomend it.

It looks like a hotel in ruins....people in the reception was not friendly.
The location is amazing. But the hotel needs a lot of work. Rooms are big but not AC . Some units have it & will charge you 5 euros per day if you want to use it.
The Island is amazing.

Self catering apartment.

Please look after the pine trees and replant older ones. They are what make it such a lovely, calming environment. I understand it won a landscape architecture award when it was built. The blocks are well arranged on the hill and in the pine wood so the hotel complex's various apartment blocks cannot be seen from the other side of the bay. Large balcony and spacious apt so very comfortable. We didn't use pool, hotel restaurant or facilities.

I was excited to check out the hotel, seeing it often off Jelsa superbe \"lungo mare\" promenade. The management is putting an effort into renovating parts of the large complex of bungalows and town houses, but the single rooms building is in a pretty bad shape and is in a dire need of upgrade.

Cozy and Sunny place to be

The hotel building is an old construction, little renovation has been done. It is still a cozy and nice place to spend some summer days in. The breakfast and dinner offered by the hotel are abundant, however dinner quality needs improvement. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the hotel staff was very friendly and prompt to answer to our complaints. Unless they revamp it with modern amenities, I am afraid I wouldn't consider staying there again.

Moved rooms on first day-due to howling dog next door and shower not working and nearly hitting me on the head!Reception staff were not apologetic,customer service was terrible. Wanted to spend as little time at the hotel as possible. Full of kids everywhere. Not a relaxing environment by the pool.Room hygeine was poor- not one fresh towel all holiday. Cleaner just picked up our dirty ones and hung them out to dry. Tried the breakfast on our first morning and vowed never to go back- rather eat sand for the week than eat at that 'buffet'.The only thing that saves this terrible hotel is the beautiful location it sits on. Jelsa is a gorgeous place so was gutted we were so unlucky with the hotel we picked.

Ingen AC, väldigt varmt i rummet, ingen kylskåp i rummet, allt jätte gammalt, kallt vatten i duschen. Maten va ganska ok. Finns tillräckligt mycket plats vid bassängen, vid vattnet (stranden) etc.

Que dire le ressort est très bien situé.
Nous avons eu les maisonnettes situées devant quasiment en front de mer.
Très bon point, par contre ces petites maisonnettes semblent être ceux qui sont en plus mauvais état. Tous semblent venir d une autre époque les années 80 vue que j ai connu le sol les murs la moquette la télé cathodique qui a qu une chaîne en hertzien le téléphone qui est là sûrement pour le décors la salle de bain carrelé du sol au mur avec les mêmes carrelage. En ce qui concerne la propreté nous avons eu quelque insectes rien de méchant mais bon.
Pour la restauration nous n avons pas essayé c est un buffet 20 euros adulte 10 enfant

This hotel should have been renovated 20 years ago. Beautiful location though and so much potential. No AC. No wifi on the room. No hot water (broken water heater). Broken power sockets with live wires, no RCD. No smoke detectors. Full glass doors with non hardened glass. Pools were falling apart with a lot of sharp edges from broken tiles. Pools filled with sea water. Not family friendly. Most dishes in the restaurant could not be ordered (crossed out with a sharpie in the menu)

Gyönyörű hely, de zajos és kopott szállás.

A teljes komplexumra nagyon ráférne a felújítás. Kidőlt egy korlát a lejárónál, nagyobb baleset is történhetett volna.
A helyszín fantasztikus,de sajnos időnként nagyon zajos késő éjjelig, vagy kora reggel is. A dohányzást tiltani kéne az erkélyeken is.

La struttura non può assolutamente essere definita un Resort. È una struttura che sembra abbandonata, fatisciente, suddivisa in tanti palazzoni più o meno degradati, che facevano parte probabilmente di un veccho hotel, con reception unica ed esterna. Dove abbiamo soggiornato noi poteva entrare chiunque senza alcuno controllo all'ingresso. No aria condizionata, solo un ventilatore anch'esso datato. La doccia si otturava. Nella camera che ci era stata assegnata all'inizio la porta della doccia era rotta (ci è caduta addosso senza nemmeno toccarla e il sifone era rotto) e il telefono per chiamare la reception non era funzionante (se non funziona, toglieteli) Comoda la terrazza esterna ma anch'essa tenuta male

Small and hot room without air conditioner.

We did not have a good time at this place. I was with my wife and small kid. The room did not meet my expectations, it was not according to the pictures, the place is very old, there is no air conditioner in the room. The fan from my room was very dirty, impossible to use, I had to request to change for a new one.
Even with the fan and the balcony doors opened the room was very hot during the night and we did not have a good sleep.
The pool was filled with salt water from the sea.
I would not stay at this facility again.

Very dated and not cleaned

Very dated hotel. We slept in the Maestral building which looked like a desterted hospiral. White hall ways with TL lights. The rooms did not had AC and our room was not very well cleaned. The urine of the previous guest was still on the toilet seat. For a low night price you should not expect a lot. But a fresh cleaned room is the least you would offer your guests in any hotel, no matter the price.

Skvele miesto blizko pri mori. Bokom od mensieho mesta, ale iba par minut peso. Izba bola cista, upratovana kazdy den. Obcerstvenie, jedlo aj pitie, bolo v hoteli pri bazene. Aj na plazi bol maly bufet s pitim.

L'hôtel est bien situé à proximité de la ville et d'une belle plage, la piscine est alimentée par la mer 😜
Passez par la côte pour rejoindre l'hôtel car il y a beaucoup moins d'escalier par ce chemin 😉

Superbe emplacement avec vu mer!! Personnel de réception accueillant et disponible. Beaucoup de bâtiment a l'abandon dans le ressort Pas de déjeuner sauf sur réservation pas de dîner le restaurant ferme a 19h!!! 🤔 Piscine avec peu de transat ! Et transat payant payant pour la plage! Läs det här innan du bor på Adriatiq

Vi spenderade en vecka i Jelsa och på Adriatiq. Hotellet har ett fantastiskt läge som väger upp för resten. Det finns massor att klaga på men det är några saker som sticker ut. Hotellet är otroligt slitet och har inte upprustas sedan det byggdes för snart 40 år sedan. Klen frukost och dålig service ( förutom i receptionen ). Gymmet har samma utrustning som när det installerades och de mesta är trasigt eller silvertejpat.

Rummen är stora och tilltalande men slitaget är enormt. Trasiga lister, trasiga duschkabiner, trasiga väggar mm. Rummen har ingen AC men en tjocktv från 1991.

Trots det, kan vi absolut tänka oss att resa tillbaka men det ska tilläggas att vi har väldigt låga krav på våra boenden. Oavsett hur många stjärnor detta hotell har så når det knappt över 2.

Value for money ressort med super beliggenhed

Super beliggenhed. Ressortet bærer præg af, at det er +20 år gammelt (hvilket også kompenseres for i pris). Vi oplever ikke den samme service, som vi gjorde på de mindre steder vi besøgte (outstanding), hvilket naturligvis hænger sammen med, at pengene på større steder ikke tjenes på service, men på optimering. Fint, value for money hotel... Jelsa er en rigtig hyggelig by og en god base for Hvar.

Skønt sted man ønsker at blive

Vi startede med at opgradere til studio, eftersom comfort var lidt for skrabet. Generelt var stedet lidt slidt.

Men da vi lige havde pakket ud viste stedet sig fra sin bedste side. Fantastisk strand, hyggeligt poolområde og bar. Og så var priserne dejlig lave (når man er vant til dk priser).
Den inkluderede halvpension var helt fin (hvis man ikke er alt for krævende), og personalet var søde.

Vi var der 4 dage, men kunne sagtens være blevet en uge.

We had booked two Comfort rooms but when we walked into the rooms we were shocked. We were on the deck. Angry and disappointed we turned to the front desk staff who claimed that the cabin was the one they called Comfort Room !!!!? When we protested, we got an answer that there was possibly a luxury apartment and for that you wanted 200 euros extra which we agreed to. But the staff first wanted to check with the highest manager at Fontana and get approval. We got back to the 9 o'clock in the evening to be told which we did. Then we met a person who presented himself as Fontana's general manege. He informed us that due to some faults they could not rent the apartment. He offers us two simple apartments that we moved in and I will say that we were happy with our accommodation during our 4 night stay at Fontana. We had bought half passion but we didn't get water when we were eating food. We did not have to bring water to the dining room. They forced us to buy it if we wanted water on the food drill.

Belle localisation.

Des installations dans la pinède avec au pieds la mer et à quelques pas du port de Jelsa . Une terrasse pour les repas donnant sur la mer... dommage que la cuisine n est pas toujours à la hauteur et que la climatisation n est pas dans les chambres.

Charmigt och nära till stan

Vi en liten familj på en vuxen och två barn ville se delar av Kroatien och hittade Jelsa. Staden är helt fantastisk med sin hamn, restauranger och glass ställen.
Hotellet var bra och det bästa var att de anlagt badställe längs udden som är utanför hotellet.
Hotellet är av äldre karaktär och behöver rustas upp. Men den har ändå en charm från forna Jugoslavien tiden.
Vårt rum hade det som behövs för att kunna vara där en halv vecka.
Några minus var att det var få eluttag och bara en vanlig fläkt. När det är då varmt så måste det till en AC för att få en dräglig natts sömn.

Hotel decadent and extremely uncomfortable

Its state of conservation is not of the best. For those who do not go to the hotel by taxi, going to the reception is a martyrdom because of the amount of ramps and stairs that need to climb, especially with luggage.

Better than expected

We (young couple) had a great stay, and in our opinion, the hotel should have a better rating. The location next to the beach and 5 min walk from the pittoresque Jelsa harbour is just perfect. Breakfast and Dinner were very tasty. The resort is very clean, and provides a relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was rather small but sufficient, it had a balcony with nice view. There was no air conditioning, but tat was OK for us. All employees were very friendly and helped us with all our questions. Although there were many children, it was quite, and we can recommend for guests with and without children. The kids animation program looked like great fun. We will come again.

Valtavan kokoinen alue rinteessä monessa tasossa. Ei sovellu huonokuntoiselle eikä liikuntaesteiselle. Huoneemme oli alueen toisessa laidassa alimpana rinteessä ja aamupalallekin oli melkoinen matka. Aamiainen oli kyllä hyvä ja monipuolinen. Hyvät uimapaikat aivan hotellin edustalla ja Jelsan keskustaan 10min kävelymatka. Hotellissa ei myöhään illalla ole enää mitään palveluja joten \"yödrinksusta\" hotellin baarissa on turha haaveilla. Ilmastointi puuttui, mutta fan piti huoneen lämpötilan yllättävän hyvin siedettävänä.

Hôtel idéalement situé prestations calamiteuses

Géographiquement idéalement situé avec une vue magnifique et à couper le souffle.
Cependant, les prestations ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur : pas de frigo ni de climatisation dans les chambres (dans un pays où les températures sont rarement en dessous de 30 degrés), les appartements et la piscine auraient besoin d'un gros rafraîchissement, pas de chauffe-eau opérationnel pendant 2 jours, petit-déjeuner lamentable (aucune viennoiserie proposée : le comble)...

Godt hotel til sol og afslapning

Rigtig fint hotel/værelse til afslapning.
Værelset havde en fin størrelse med plads omkring sengen. Badeværelset var ligeledes i fin stand.
Lille fint siddeområde med to stole og bord foran indgangen.

Der var ikke køleskab på vores værelse, hvilket ville have været perfekt.
Rengøring var der ikke, trods fire dage på værelset. Den \"rengøring vi fik var, at vores lagner og håndklæder blev lagt sammen og lagt på sengen.

Gode muligheder for at ligge på klippestrand for at slappe af, men mulighed for at leje liggestole.

Maden i restaurenten var ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Det smagte udemærket og fint udvalg, men ikke noget vi så frem til.
Vi havde halvpension og det var fint for os.

Schön gelegenes Hotel, nicht auf dem neusten Stand

- gute Lage (fußläufig nach jelsa, direkt am Meer)
- Essen war gut, abwechslungsreich.
- Problemloses Check-in und Check-out

Contra:
- Hotelanlage riesig und somit sind die Wege sehr lang
- unglaublich viele Stufen, wegen Hanglage (Weg einfach zur Straße 109 Stufen)
- Poolbereich veraltet (Platten locker)
- Zimmer ohne Kühlschrank/ Klimaanlage/ Safe
- Duschvorhang und Klobürste dreckig (vergilbt)
- Wasser läuft schlecht ab in der Dusche
- Servicepersonal oft genervt
- KGM Leihservice gegenüber der Reception nicht zu empfehlen ! Abzocke und schlechte Qualität. In der Stadt von Jelsa gibt es eine Super Vermietung (SunCity)
