Lovely accommodation right by the beach of a high standard. Really spacious and comfortable room and balcony and great location! Mel was available whenever we needed anything. I imagine the area might be quite busy in the summer holidays, but in mid September it was perfect. Great quiet beach opposite the hotel which meant you didnt need to go to Zlatni Rat.

Great stay in a great location

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Villa. The place was a great size for the family and it was incredibly clean. Mel was so helpful during our stay and is a big part of what makes the Villa so great.

The location is really well placed between Zlatni Rat beach and Bol town, so it's easy to walk everywhere.

The breakfast was lovely as well and features a good selection of different things.

The villa is located in a private area. Everything was really clean and breakfast was great. The pool was really nice and all of the people were kind and caring. The beach was really close to the villa. The villa was also located in a quiet and nice place, still close to the center. The host, Mel was very kind, caring and positive, thanks to him and all the staff.

Villa Mediterranea was the perfect place to stay in Bol. The location, amenities and staff were wonderful. Mel created us right away with a friendly smile and was always there and happy to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was perfect to start the day (especially Mel’s Banana bread) and the location was right on the walking path with the beaches all within the easiest access! There was also a pool for days where you got tired of going to the beach. Highly recommend!

Best stay of my trip. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel by mistake as I came up in my search for hotels on Hvar. I am so glad we stayed here and saw Bol. It was my favorite stop on the trip. The hotel is an easy walk from ferry terminal and an easy walk to the famous beach. It’s perfectly located on a quieter part of the promenade but 5-10 minutes to the best restaurants. Staff, especially Mel, were very nice, attentive, and friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer. I plan on coming back with my mother!

beautiful apartment with amazing view of the seaside . nice facilities and we enjoyed the outdoor breakfast with christian music playing at the background which is a special blessing to us as a christian family .
v continent location to golden horn beach and old town . we love it overall and would like to stay here again if we go back to bol .

we stayed two nights and the first night was upper quite which is really nice sleep . yet the second night , some neighbours were v loud with party background and not able to sleep until quite late .

the only inconvenience is no lift and taxi can no park directly outside the property entrance if you have many luggages like us. need to carry them via many steps .
thankfully the hotel staff Mel helped us with luggages on arrival .

Amazing place!

I spent wonderful week with my family at this amazing place. Very friendly staff. We started every day with delicious breakfast sitting in the garden. The beach is a couple of meters away. The apartment was very roomy and was cleaned every day. We had a beautiful sea view from our terrace watching sunset and drinking glass of wine. If you have enough laying on the beach you can spend the afternoon at the pool and the evening walking on the promenade along the sea. The downtown is nearby full of nice restaurants and refreshing ice cream!

Great stay in Bol.

Villa Mediterranea is well positioned in Bol - midway between town and main beach. Rooms and beds are comfortable with efficient air-condioning. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pool area is pleasant but small but the local beach is fine and a few mins away. Sunbeds 20 euros per day each.
Bol itself is a lovely unspoilt town.

Very nice villa and Sasha (manager) was available and hands on the entire time we were there with my family. I would likely return even though weather was not very good at that time in August2023, however the Villa made it pleasant and comfortable. Please add some wall hooks in the bedrooms for convenience is a small suggestion.

Our host Sasha greeted us at the parking and was extremely helpful in getting us to the property. Breakfast was great and the staff even brought us plates of food after breakfast had ended as our kids slept in. It was a 10 min walk to Zlanti Rat beach and 10-15 min to the port with restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this property to others. Private pool, nice room, and accommodating staff. Great stay!!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and restful. The staff was absolutely wonderful in every way and responsive to our every request. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and an incredible beach bar nearby and a short walk to town where the dining options abound. We were welcomed after our somewhat late arrival with a sample of local rakija and breakfasts every day were prepared and served in the outside cabana area near the pool. Don't follow Google maps to get here. Just walk from town on the Riva until you get to the street address and follow the paved sidewalk to the last building at the end which is the hotel.

We stayed in 3 properties in Bol and this was by far our favourite. Fantastic location, lovely rooms, friendly staff and fabulous breakfast. This hotel was the perfect location for kitesurfing, with the kite beach just a few metres walk away. Zlatni Rat is an easy 1km shaded walk away, but we preferred the smaller beach just steps from the hotel.
We would definitely come back here to stay again.

The location is hard to beat as it sits right on the main sea-front promenade, right between the main downtown area and Zlatni Rat beach. The parking was difficult to find via Google Maps (don't use this - it was take you down a very narrow road that isn't really a road). I just called the phone number on my booking confirmation and they gave me very simple instructions on where to park for free just a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed throughout the duration of the stay. We had to leave very early the day we checked out and she brought us a little bag packed with yogurts and fruits for us to eat the next morning because she was sad that we wouldn't be able to eat breakfast with them the next morning. Great service! I'd highly recommend staying here.

Great villa halfway between the Bol ferry port and Zlatni Rat beach. Kind and helpful staff. Wide range of fresh fruits, bread, meat, and eggs for breakfast. A bit noisy in the morning- you can hear every door closing and all footsteps throughout the building. Cash only for payment- be prepared. Overall excellent stay.

We had a scooter with us so parking was convenient and we were able to go to the restaurant we wanted to go get to. Most restaurants around here were still closed - not sure if due to pandemic or off-season.

I am from Greece so have very high expectations of hotels and resorts and the Villa Mediterranea did not disappoint. The location is excellent being 2-3 mins walk to a nice beach, 10 mins walk to the Golden Horn beach and 10 mins walk to the centre where all the bars restaurants are. The rooms are modern and perfect. We booked a room with a sea view which is definitely worth it in my opinion. I give this hotel top marks for value fir money.

Great breakfasts in the garden, close to the beach

The house is located steps away from the beach. Breakfasts are carefully prepared by Mladen who is great! He prepares a different pastry every morning, he's very helpful in giving directions regarding interesting spots around the island, restaurants etc.
Our room had a balcony, the cleaning staff is very efficient and friendly, the only minus was a little refrigerator buzzing quite loud at night. Some hangers in the bathroom and a shelf for shampoos in the shower would be nice.

Let me begin this review by saying that our expectations for accommodation in Bol were low after being hassled endlessly for taxis in places when we didn’t need them, and then being utterly unable to find them when we did need them. Being American, we were worried that we would not be able to find our way very well on an island that didn’t speak much English (or so we thought at the time).

Everything changed when we met Mladen at the Villa Mediterranea. I kid you not when I say that this man must have arrived directly from my dreams, or as a shape-shifting angel from heaven. Or perhaps both. Though we arrived before our scheduled check-in, he was quick to help us store our luggage and change so that we could take a dip in the pool while our room was being prepared. Imagine my face when he started bringing us yogurts and Nutella bread and other snacks in case we were hungry (and we were).

Mladen and the rest of the staff at the Villa Mediterranea were probably the best customer service I have ever received at any establishment, ever. They cook an absolutely delicious breakfast, and were always helpful with calling us taxis, moving our heavy luggage, or just generally to chat up about our lives. The room was also wonderful and had everything we needed, but the real 5 stars comes from the impeccable service. Thank you Villa Mediterranea, and we hope to be back soon!

Lovely villa, great location

Stayed for a week mid-September in one of the luxury suites with an outside terrace overlooking the pool. Suite was well equipped, exceptionally clean, comfortable and quite . The villa itself is in a great location down the pine tree lined promenade half way between Bol centre and Zlatni Rat beach.(10 minutes each way). There are other beaches and bars literally minutes from the villa across the promenade.
The owners were friendly and very helpful. Would definately recommend this villa for couples or family groups

The hotel room wasn’t a five star but that’s not what was expected as it is not advertised as one. The room was not that large but we had the cheaper room so it wasn’t supposed to be large, but it was still decent.

The location is very good with many beaches in close proximity, including a short 10 min stroll to the golden horn and beach. The town and ferry is also a 5-10min stroll in the other direction so it’s very central.

The staff are lovely and very welcoming.

Would recommend people staying there if wanting a slightly cheaper option in a great location.

A great place in an ideal location

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was of a very good size and standard of accommodation. The swimming pool and communal garden was nice and private. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a good range on offer. Located just off the promenade, in a quiet spot, and a short stroll to the main town and beaches.

Negatives: there were children and children's toys everything - it's not suitable for couples/groups of friends. Further, the manager actually had a childrens party one afternoon!! So there were so many children in the pool and communal area - I found this very unprofessional. You basically are in a apartment/room in someone's family home which they treat very much as their own. That's fine - but it just wasn't clear to us that it was like that, else we would have booked somewhere more private. Also we arrived and the manager (wearing a swimsuit and a towel) was very confused about who we were - there was no record of us having a booking in her paper notebook. We did have a booking. I understand hotels.com or them may have made a mistake but they didn't handle it well (confused, kept not believing us, leaving us for ages while they went through emails etc. We had to ask to sit down and for some water). We then had to transfer rooms after one night. Positives: the apartments are lovely and the location is great.

Lovely hotel great location. Hotel room was great no faults there. 10 mins walk to the city but where all the restaurants are and 5/7 mins walk to the golden horn.

Only issues was they live in the apartments too so lots of kids toys all over which was odd plus surrounding villas/ apartments are still being made. Drilling started from 7am all through too 7pm I would say. Overall nice place be even better when other apartments are complete

P.S we loved bop! Much better then staying in split! Rented a car at split airport, got a car ferry then drove to Bol! So easy.

We stayed in a luxury suite at Villa Mediteranea which looked relatively freshly decorated, nice furnishings with comfortable lounge, dining, kitchen area and separate bedroom. . Suite was spacious and clean. Great balcony overlooking the swimming pool. Breakfast each morning outdoors, space limited under canopied areas especially when weather not so good, reasonable choice..
Located midway between Zlatni Rat beach and the main town areas - both accessed along a wide promenade. Beach area opposite entrance to villa.

Only down side - we had water come into apartment through the patio doors and velux window whenever there was heavy rain - which happened on 2 nights when we stayed. Suggest need to get some pole or other mechanism to close velux as we had to stand on chair to do this.

What a fantastic experience to have had to travel to Brač Island, Croatia, and stay in Villa Mediterranea. The location was perfect, equidistant from the town center of Bol and the famous beach Zlatni Rat, 10 minutes to walk in either direction. The apartment was also more than I expected with a full kitchen, luxurious terrace, great bed, and bathroom with high-end upgrades. The included breakfast on the common patio: unsurpassed. Dijana and her husband go out of their way to make it a perfect stay, without being intrusive.

Only caution, not about the property but about the island as a whole: it's great for couples, families, or groups, but for solo travelers a bit sleepy. Definitely hike up Vidova gora if you're an active type! (Totally walkable from Villa Mediterranea!)

We were given a warm welcome and lots of information about the local area. The room was modern, comfortable and spacious. Was a great base to explore Bol, with the sea 30m from the villa and a 10 minute walk to Bol town centre and the lovely Zlatni Rat beach.

Amazing flat right at the beach

We just spent our (too) short break in Villa Mediterranea and it was superb.
Location 10/10. Quality of the new top floor is 10/10, and soft king size beds (with memory foam layer) were my favorite part.
Bathrooms are very modern & very clean and the whole Villa Is highly mantained.
The owners Diana & Tom are super nice and handy.
One thing they may think of is to open a cocktail bar at the pool, it would be just great....

Det var en veldig fin leilighet. Beliggenheten var topp. Nærhet til badested og sentrum. Stille og behagelig. Guttene på 7 og 10 år elsket bassenget.
Det var en del maur i leiligheten, inni klesskapet , kjøkken og terrasse. Men noen småkryp må vi vel regne med. Vi kunne savne noen knagger på veggen til å henge fra seg men det var god skapplass. Sengen var veldig god, madrass super og sengetøy var behagelig. Vi sov godt. Bra temperatur. Myggnetting foran vinduene.
Vi lagde ikke mat i leiligheten, det var et lite tekjøkken men vet ikke helt hvor greit det er å lage mat der. Frokost god og variert. God service. Vi betalte via hotels.no. Det var ganske dyrt. Tror vi kunne funnet noe rimeligere som var like bra.

The location close to the beach where Mel and his team did an excellent job to make our stay a memory for life. Breakfast outdoors with new made fresh bread every morning, omelets or pancaces added to the standard breakfast. Hotel was clean and fresh, private pool. Short walk to the golden horn beach and Mali Raj, an excellent restaurant. In the other direction a short walk to the Bol center with nice boat harbour and restaurants.

Innan vi anlände fick vi ett meddelande från värden som guidade oss till huset och möte upp oss utanför för att leda oss in. Under hela vistelsen var värden otroligt ödmjuk och hjälpsam. Svarar gärna på frågor om bästa badstället, hur man tar sig runt på Brač på bästa sätt. Frukosten var även den över förväntan samt möjligheten att lämna av bagage vid ankomst samt avfärd.

Sängar, kuddar och täcken var väldigt sköna och gav en god nattsömn i en härlig atmosfär. Det som kanske brister något är det finns ett viss slitage som behöver ses över.

Hade även underlättat med möjlighet att köpa/hyra madrasser till stranden då det är relativt dyrt att köpa/hyra via touristshoppar.

Svarar gärna på frågor om bästa badstället, hur man tar sig runt på Brač på bästa sätt. Frukosten var även den över förväntan samt möjligheten att lämna av bagage vid ankomst samt avfärd.

Sängar, kuddar och täcken var väldigt sköna och gav en god nattsömn i en härlig atmosfär. Det som kanske brister något är det finns ett viss slitage som behöver ses över.

Hade även underlättat med möjlighet att köpa/hyra madrasser till stranden då det ändå kostar ca 20€/person och dag.

Excellent accommodation in Bol

Our stay at Villa Mediterrania was excellent in every way. Traveling with three teenagers, we found the top-floor apartment with three bedrooms to be spacious and comfortable. The view of the sea from the balcony was fantastic, and the location was perfect—close to the beaches and central Bol. We would love to return!

Veldig fint opphold

Vi hadde et veldig fint og behagelig opphold. Fine rom, fint fellesområde og god frokost. Rommene var rene hver dag, bortsett fra dagen før vi dro, da hadde de kanskje glemt oss? Det er uansett ikke avgjørende for hvordan vi hadde det.
