I asked the property to give me any floor except the ground floor and they gave me last room on third floor. There is no lift and the room was very small as compared to the pictures shown in the advertisement. It was very inconvenient for me and my wife as we were unhappy with our room. The breakfast was ok and it was the same on all the days that we stayed. There is a very small swimming pool which we never used. I stayed for 10 days in Croatia and I would rate this hotel the lowest.

Not worth it

We got the economy room for 115€/night and deeply regretted it the second we stepped in.

1. The door lock gets stuck, the bed mattress is like 30€ worth, had terrible sleep every night and my back hurt like crazy.

2. The bathroom ventilation fan was literally so loud that we used our phone's flashlight to go to the toilet overnight to not wake eachother up.

3. Some lights were just not working at all

4. The shower was missing a couple of pieces.

A total rip off. It's really not worth the cheap price. We tried to upgrade but was fully booked.

The Villa is super well located one street north of the main pathway (to beaches and commerce), but the short distance makes it very quiet. Our room had a great view of the sea. Dorian (the young man who checked us in) was very nice and informative. The pool is great, clean and lots of lounge chairs available. The pool is also big enough that more than one family can swim at a time without feeling too crowded. Breakfast was great and lots of choice. All staff are very friendly.

Comfortable, convenient and friendly.

We were met on arrival at reception which was quick, easy and very friendly and were shown and told everything we needed to know. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor of the rooms is slightly older style but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. There was a pool and free buffet breakfast which added to the comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is also a short distance to the waterfront, bars, restaurants and ferries and a nice walk around to the beach.

Good location terrible air conditioning.

Photos show a kitchenette which is misleading. There are no rooms with kitchenette. The rooms are too small for 3 people but would be okay for 2. Air conditioning is useless & very nosy. Our bathroom had a smell which the maid did try & sort but it was still there. Our room was in the top floor & there are no lifts we had to leave our cases in the car as a, there was no room in the room for them b, we couldn’t carry them up the stairs. Rooms were cleaned every day & very well. The location is good & central to everything.

Comfortable hotel in a good location

The hotel is fairly close to the main resort area. Staff are friendly and attentive available 24 hours. A small hotel with spacious rooms. There isnt any lifts available so could be difficult if you had a large amount of luggage although i am sure you would get plenty of help from the staff. Breakfast is in a separate building just outside of reception. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. There is a small pool area which wasnt used alot, presulamably guests went to the main beach closeby, but it meant that we had no trouble having access to sunbeds. There is a shop nearby where you can get food and drinks to bring back to the pool as the hotel has no bar facilities. Overall a comfortable hotel in a good location.

The staff here are extremely nice and really go out of there way to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as can be. The villa is very clean and comfortable. The only minor issue is that most of the equipment in the gym doesn't work, but other than that my stay here was great. And the price was well worth it for Bol.

It was the worse experience of my life. First of all, I had an accident the day before arriving at the hotel and I asked about the possibility to move my friend and me to a room on the first floor and they said it was not possible because we paid a low-cost price (they didn’t mention or ask to pay more or something like that). They said that rudely. The room was quite old. The towels had a terrible smell of smoke. The shower was short (I have 176cm). I went to the Golden Horn and left my luggage at the reception once I was planning to come back later to collect my luggage to take the ferry to another island but suddenly it started raining. After that, I went to the hotel completely wet and it was cold. I asked to have a quick hot shower (it was 11:40 am, my friend checked out at 11 am) and they said it was not possible. They didn’t even give me a place to change my clothes. I don’t definitely recommend this place.

Upon arrival the guy from reception was already waiting for us to make sure we can park our car safely which was quite impressive. Location is very good, close to everything. Room was good size and clean. Mattress seemed a bit hard but it might be just a personal preference. The only thing what annoyed was the shower - constantly flooding the floor as the door doesn't close properly, but can be sorted with extra towels :) in overall - very happy with the stay.

Nice to have a pool for change from the beach and included car parking space for those with wheels is a bonus. Hotel location was excellent, right in the middle of everywhere which made it reasonable for the price. Highly recommended.

A very nice stay with my girlfriend. Breakfast was great with omelet and bacon made to order. Staff very helpful.
The room was clean but you can tell the interior is from the early 2000's. All in all a great stay!

The hotel location is fine to walk into town, about 10 minutes, the room was OK and excellent internet and TV had CNN & BBC but the AC didn't work and the hotel has no elevator! The buffet breakfast was quite nice.

This hotel has beautiful installations with a pool and a big terrace overlooking the sea. The owners and staff are particularly helpful and will get out of their way to ensure their customers are happy. The breakfast is above average with many options and great quality food. The location is very smart, being 5 min walk to the port, yet still being walkable to Zlatni Rat beach.

Enjoyed the 7 nights we stayed there. Rooms a little dated, however clean, good air con and comfy beds. Breakfast had good variety and lady working the breakfast room was friendly and accommodating to our dietary needs. Hotel about a 20min walk from Zlatni Rat and 10min walk from centre of Bol/Harbour. Overall, enjoyed stay at hotel and in Bol.

Great balcony, poor air conditioning

We had 3 nights here and wished we’d stayed a bit longer. Bol is a lovely town and the hotel is well situated on the end of town towards Zlatni Rat. We had room 303 with a great balcony and lovely views. There is no lift but they carried our bags up to the 3rd floor for us and did not expect a tip. The air con was inadequate, the breakfast was average and the WiFi was very intermittent but I would still consider returning as long as it was a room with a balcony.

Great location (just outside of town centre/en route to Zlatni Rat); staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent - multiple items/choices to eat. Air Con was weak - we were there during very hot time, but could have been more comfortable if AC worked better. Bad smell from bathroom overnight. Room was good size and clean, but there was some ceiling mould in bathroom. TV was very small. Furniture was in good condition but dated style. Pool was great.

Nice hotel, good location, lovely staff. Good range of food for breakfast with bacon, eggs, cheese, meats, yogurts, cereal and fruit and lovely fresh bread. Our room was reasonably comfortable but the bed awful as it was hard and lumpy? The TV was small and old so needs to be updated to a flatscreen. Lovely pool and grounds. Good location close enough to walk to the ferry, bus and restaurants. Zlatni Rat beach is a 15 minute walk along the promenade. Not much to do in Bol so 3 days would have been sufficient for us but we had a nice stay.

Family-run hotel situated between the town and beach, easy to walk to either. Katrina, a family member, was incredibly helpful. The pool was key after we had gotten tired of the rocky, although beautiful, beaches in Dalmatia.

Great location between the promenade and the harbour. Hotel dated but spotlessly clean. Good in room facilities for baby, nice cot and bedding. Small rooms so worth paying extra for a family room. Could benefit from a kettle in the room. Disappointed there wasn't a highchair at breakfast as overall it is a great family orientated, family run hotel. The pool area was very nice.

Amazing stay at Villa Daniela. Very close to Zlatni Rat.

Katarina and her husband provided top notch service. They answered all our questions and were available at any time. I needed a haircut and wanted to go to church at catholic mass, they knew exactly where the barber was, the time they were open and the times of the mass. They even provided laundry service for a small fee. (this is convenient when you have a long stay).

This small family business know what customer service is all about.

This family owned hotel was a hidden jewel. Perfect location and very friendly staff. It is family owned and run and you can tell. My daughter had an allergic reaction to something she came in contact with while on this trip and of course it rears its head once we are in for the night and all the pharmacies are closed. Desperate I informed the front desk of her allergic reaction and since they are a family hotel with children of their own, they had childrens Benadryl on hand and offered it to us. I was so very grateful and crisis was adverted. Breakfast was very good the next morning with lots of variety. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone headed to Bol.

Great hotel in amazing location. Staff were absolutely lovely. It's a basic hotel, but has all you need for a beach holiday. Breakfast was all that could be expected. Rooms clean. It's also a small hotel, so feels personal. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend unless you want somewhere fancy. But with Zlatni Rat beach nearby, you don't need a fancy hotel.

Staff were very helpful and had lovely views from the balcony. However 2 plug sockets did not work and cut my foot on rough tiling. Balcony doors did not shut properly and kept us awake all night in high winds. Stay was fine but think I would try somewhere else if I returned.

This is a lovely small hotel with really welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms with great beds and showers, a lovely little pool and a nice restaurant. It is only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Bol and to the lovely restaurants on the harbour front in the main town. It is perfectly located in between the beaches and town so you can spend the day on the beach, walk back to the hotel to freshen up and then walk into town. The staff are very helpful with tips on where to go and what to so made our stay as easy as possible.

I had a great short stay at Daniela. She was super friendly and helpful with the ferries and surrounding location. The hotel is just a short walk from the main promenade along the water, equidistant to Zlatni (SP) Rat Beach and downtown Bol. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Only minor complaint is that the shower heads are fixed to the wall about chest high so you kind of have to duck down to wash if you're tall like me. Would stay there again!

We LOVED our stay at Villa Daniela. In addition to a perfect location, it's situated halfway between the center of town and the beach, the staff was just perfect. They were so kind and attentive and arranged for us to have a fantastic Croatian dinner at the campsite above. Most of the food in the center of town is Italian, and my husband and I were interested in the Croatian cuisine. Maja and Katarina at the front desk were just lovely in assisting us with this. Stay at Villa Daniela. You will not be disappointed.

A good location

We had a very comfortable stay and the hotel is in a good location for walking to the beach or into town. I would stay there again but would hope that a couple of things could be improved. That is, internet access is virtually nil even when feet away from the router, and there needs to be more that one huge umbrella for those using loungers on the terrace. Firstly, if it's windy, which is often, they insist it be closed and it's virtually impossible to stay shaded for any length of time without having access to all loungers.

Place was fantastic. I was travelling with my sister and a friend and it was perfect. I didn't eat at their restaurant but my sister did and said the food was great, 3 courses for about 7 pounds. Pool was lovely although not alot of sun lounges, need to get in early which we did. But overall, great place, great value and great quality!

Great budget, friendly well-placed hotel

Well located, clean, staff were very helpful (apart from some old misery - a very infriendly old a bloke who wanders around with a face of thunder). We went for the Economy room - you don't need anything more as the room is somewhere to sleep only. However, the first room we were given was next to the hotel's aircon generator and had a nasty loud unlivable hum. We were relicated to another brighter, quieter room upstairs and all was well. Pool area is nice - we spent a couple of pool days reading. A little windy for August. Breakfast is servicable, but nothing more. As for Bol, we stayed 7 nights. It's s great location but 5 days maximum to experience all its charms. Restaurants are of a high quality. If we went to Bol again we would stay at Hotel Daniela. One tip - if you arrive in Supetar (like we did) get the bus to Bol. It's cheaper and less hair-raising than the suicidal taxi service. Terrifying.

Nice, quiet and friendly hotel

Lovely small and friendly hotel. We originally booked an economy room, these rooms are pretty cramped and our original one was a loft room, so we only had a sky light. We upgraded to a balcony room, for not much more than to economy which was much nicer. The pool was never busy and was great to have because it was so hot! Bol is a really nice place to stay and we would happily stay at Villa Daniella again.

Good value for money

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Daniella. The pool was a real plus. We had a triple room and our 17 year old daughter didn't find the small bed particularly comfortable. There was also no Internet access in the room. The breakfast was very nice - very good coffee! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also well situated for visiting Zlatni Rat.

Beautiful Beachside Hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The location was great. It was very nice in the off season (early May)--the weather was great and the hotel was not crowded. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a great value for the money.

Lovely service, clean hotel and good location

Villa Daniela is very well located to reach the main strip in Bol, the service was welcoming and friendly, and the rooms (whilst basic) were clean, comfortable and a decent size. There is a breakfast buffet in the morning, which is not on the scale you would get in a bigger hotel but is fine. We found this hotel to be very good value for money.

Room quite simple but sufficient for 2 nights.
Maybe a keetle in the room will bé a nice improvement
Villa Daniela is quiet. Bol center is few minutes walk and beaches are really easy to access with nice advice where tongo when it is windy.

Et rigtig dejligt sted!

Umiddelbart drevet af 2 søde brødre. Vi blev taget rigtig godt imod af den ene bror, som anbefalede os en lækker fiske restaurant ved navn Konoba Gust. Værelset var rent og i god stand, sengen var lidt hård hvilket min partner ikke syntes så meget om. Stedet ligger 5 minutters gå gang fra både strand og by, hvilket var helt perfekt for os. Vi tjekkede ud hos den anden bror, som sendte os afsted med et stort smil. Jeg vil anbefale dette sted til andre jeg kender som skal besøge Bol

Leuke accomodatie die de kamers aan het vernieuwen is. Wij zaten in een gerenoveerde kamer op de derde verdieping. Hele fijne douche, nette kamer, fijn balkon. Alleen de trap was loodzwaar naar boven haha.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Simpel, maar prima ontbijt. Geen dineropties, maar wellicht is dat in het hoofseizoen anders. Parkeren lukt niet altijd, maar dat is in het gehele dorp zo. Het personeel doet er alles aan om toch een plekje te vinden/vrij te houden!

Redelijk centrale locatie; de promenade is (via een stijle weg naar beneden) een paar honderd meter bij het pension vandaag, de boulevard ook zoiets alleen dan de andere kant op. Standje waar je kan liggen zit op een ruime km. Accomodatie zelf geeft ook een terras met zwembad waar je ook heerlijk kunt uitrusten. Water is wel heel koud.

Even een paar dagen heerlijk kunnen bijkomen van alle drukte in Nederland. Een kanttekening: ik had gezocht op een hotel in Split en deze accomodatie kwam naar voren. Het zit echter op het eiland Brac, iets om rekening mee te houden als je naar het vaste land wil omdat niet alle veerboten auto’s toelaten en ze (in het laagseizoen) ook niet heel erg vaak vertrekken op een dag. Maargoed, als we beter hadden gekeken, hadden we het vast eerder gezien :). Niks ter nadele van de accomodatie in elk geval!

Hotell på höjden i Bol

Bodde här i 4 nätter. Fick rum på våning 3, som var renoverat på senare år. Vissa rum hade äldre standard än vårat.
Ingick enklare frukost, men det fanns det man behövde. Liten pool med solsängar.
Trevlig personal.
Ligger ca 500 m från hamnen och till stranden. Det är en rejäl backe att gå när man kommer från hamnen
