Simple but clean room with air-conditioning. Very quiet. Super convenient - 5 minutes walk max from the city gates, 5 min to the beach, less than 5 min to a chill restaurant and pub and an escape from the crowds. 5 min walk to the bus stop to take you up to the main bus station/port. I very much appreciated being so close. Dino, our host was an absolute gem - great stories, very helpful, great communication.

Small room. Nice location - super close to a really nice beach just outside of old town, and the fort which is a GOT filming location. Good for solo, crowded for couples. WiFi connection was so very difficult. Had to look for signal outside of the room. I am appreciative however that owner let us check in early
And he is friendly. Good enough accommodation for 1-2 nights, campy after that and WiFi is a huge issue as I do need WiFi when travelling for my work etc. overall, because it was priced a little expensive, value for money is below average for the service/value that you get

The owner overbooked the apartment we reserved and then wanted us to stay in three different units for the four nights we reserved. We didn’t find out about the overbooking until we arrived to check in. The owner should have messaged us about his mistake as soon as he discovered it.

The owner said we could cancel our reservation, stay the four nights, or only stay the first night of our reservation. We were able to make other reservations in a much nicer apartment after the first night. We are so happy we didn’t stay at Apartment Mia for more than one night. The bathroom wall and ceiling had visible mold and the patio area when we checked in smelled from the owner’s cigarette smoke.

It took several hours during our vacation to find other accommodations and handle the refund through Expedia.

Great location, no parking at all, the owner directed us to the public paid parking, (about $23 for 24 hours), half an hour walk from the apartment.

Extremely rude, unprofessional, and frightening.

Think the episode of The Office where Jim and Pam stay at Schrutè farms, except this isn't an american sitcom and it was actually scary.

We had a friend with us (who was not staying at the property). The owner was extremely rude to our friend and kept pestering us thinking he was going to stay without permission.

We told him our friend was not staying the night, he was just hanging out as it was only 9pm... he barged INTO our room without permission in his (revealing) whitey tighties and a burning cigarette in his hand. I am not sure if he was dr*nk, but I honestly hope so to give some sort of explanation for the behavior.

Every time we arrived back to the place, they ran to the door to harass us and question us? It felt like we were 15 again and had parents watching our every move.

The landlords wife?mom?sister? unsure ... yelled at me as I came into the place asking who I was and why I was there. I told her I was literally a paying guest.

annnnd to top it off, my husband was on a zoom call for work and the landlord started talking to him during his call and walked in front of the camera, once again, in his Whitey tighties.

Round of applause for the plot - it truly gave us lifelong memories.

Incorrect description and pictures

We booked a double room en-suite through hotels.com, but the pictures accompanying the booking turned out to be pictures of an apartment en-suite.

It meant our room was much too small for us and not what we had expected at all.

Hotels.com contacted the owner who said he would help us find another room, but when we spoke to him, he told us there was nothing he could do as it was fully booked out and the only alternative would be to stay with him in his house!

It was a very uncomfortable experience and, although I think we were just unlucky, I would not recommend this accommodation.

The owner did kindly offer to change our sheets and to let us leave luggage in the property on our departure day.

The property itself was a double bed tightly squeezed between a painted rock wall and a regular wall. The paint on the rock wall would rub off on our belongings that touched it. The furnishing were cheap and old, but it was clean at least.

The bathroom was very small with a flimsy shower curtain and it was very difficult to keep water off the floor. There were no space in the bathroom for toiletries and no lid on the toilet.

The access to the room is tricky as it it is accessed by a very narrow and steep stair case.

The location of the property was very good, situated between two beaches and right next to a nice cafe and restaurant outside the old town. It meant the surrounding area was peaceful and relaxing with easy access to the busy parts of the old town.

Great location.

The location of the flat is brilliant, everywhere in the old town is walkable. The flat is also clean and comfortable with working AC, which was a lifesaver.
Parking was not on site, you would have to walk a little bit.
Kitchen was moderately well equipped but did not have Coffee maker as stated.
Overall because of the location everything else was not a big issue.

Fine not great

Although the people running this apartment are incredibly nice; I have to give everyone a heads up of our experience. The pictures looked great and we booked because there were three of us and we thought it would be easy to stay in one apartment with 2 rooms... well when we arrived, there was not a front desk (as stated), I called the man I was speaking regarding our arrival and he told me to knock on his mom's apartment and she will let us into our place. The woman was very nice but spoke no english and was very fragile. She showed us into the apartment and it was nothing like pictured. There were not two rooms, there were 2 beds in one room. Everything was pretty dirty; the towels were crunchy and had stains. There was a back door that led to a washer machine and other apartments that did not lock, so nothing was secure during our stay. We ended up locking most of belongings in the car. Although the location of this place is amazing and is right in the heart of the city, there is not parking nearby. The closest parking is pretty far and it costs $10 eur per hour. Overall, we didn't spend much time in the room so it was fine, but I definitely felt like there is room for improvement.

Loved the location! Very close to beautiful views and old town. Staff was also very accommodating and quick to respond to needs. Water in shower had good pressure and was hot but they need to unclog the shower drain. It pooled up after just a few minutes. They also list a soaker tub which we did not have. Maybe one of the other apartments has one? Overall cleanliness was not up to our standards. Slept in a sleep sack because sheets seemed unwashed. Towels were rough and mismatched. Also didn't seem very clean. No bathroom products provided like shampoo or soap. The dish sponge had been there a while. We were told to open windows if we got hot so dealt with bugs and mosquitos biting us. This situation would have been fine had it only been my husband and I back in our young days of broke backpacking but with our 2 kids, it just wasn't worth it.

This property is a perfect location to walk to Old Town Dubrovnik in 5 minutes. The view is superlative, and Dino and his Daughter Mia were wonderful hosts and responded to all our needs, even when we had to leave at 4:30 AM to catch a plane. The unit was clean and neat. I would highly recommend staying at Apartments Mia if you want easy access to Old Town.

The location is amazing and the apartment was great value for money. The instructions on how to arrive and what to do at arrival could have been better. It's not a hotel, so it doesn't have a reception and no one was waiting for us at the property, so we had to call around to get someone to take us to the correct property. It would have helped to have had clearer information about this at reservation, so we would have known to call ahead and who to call.

The location was great! Very close to the old town. However, you definitely need a GPS to find the place and even then, it's hard to figure out. We had the small studio, which would have been fine if the A/C had been working. Even though we told the owner multiple times that it wasn't working, he said he had gotten it fixed. It was indeed pushing air out, but it wasn't cold at all. That room was a sauna! So hot and humid, it smelled awful. And after showering, the bathroom would get packed with mosquitos. I wish the owner would have provided us with a fan or gotten it fixed for real instead of treating us like idiots by lying to us. It wasn't super clean either. Also, on the website it said that we could get a shuttle from the airport but he told us he couldn't do it so we had to spend more money on transportation than planned.

Wonderful room with great views!

Dino and his mom were great hosts! The view is amazing and the location is just a few stairs from town. The listing mentions a kitchenette, but there was just a coffee pot and small fridge, though that was fine with us. The bed was comfy and everything was sparkling clean. They even let us leave our bags after check out to spend a few more minutes seeing the sights. :)

The best priced accommodation we found, booking on the same day & didn't encounter any problems. Old Town, beaches, restaurants, information center, bus stops, market and shopping places were all walking distance from the property. On top of it all, the owners were really nice, hospitable, and helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing location in Pile area. Just next door to great restaurants and things to see. More space than I needed, and even a small shared patio with a view of the city walls. Was a bit chilly at night. Not sure what the heating situation was. But I was given plenty of blankets. Would definitely return!

Disappointing student type apartment

Fantastic location and friendly host but that didn’t make up for the apartment’s shortcomings. The bathroom constantly smelt, and the extractor fan breaking on day 2 made it even worse. We did report this but no attempt was made to fix it. Bed linen and towels, although plentiful desperately need replacing. We noticed holes in bedspreads. The fridge wasn’t cold enough and we had to throw milk away. We found mould on its door seal and back wall. It reminded us of student accommodation at best.

Great Location and Exceptional Service

You would be hard pressed to find somewhere with a better location. It was just a 3 minute walk from the Pile Gate and entrance to the Old City; nowhere in the Old City was more than a 15 minute walk away; the views from the room were absolutely stunning, taking in a small bay, the city walls and a fortress and there is an excellent bar (the Kop Bar) and restaurant (the Orhan Restaurant) next door to the apartments. Both of these establishments are well worth a visit, especially if the weather is good enough to be able to sit outside right next to that small bay, which apparently features in \"Game of Thrones\". Yet despite all of these advantages of location it was also wonderfully quiet and relaxing.
The apartments were clean and tastefully decorated and the owner, Dino, was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He also accompanied me to the Kop Bar to watch Liverpool and then, on the following night, Spurs achieve spectacular victories in the semi finals of the Champions League. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially when Liverpool won - as you would expect from a bar that is dedicated to them
Finally, I must mention Dino's mother, a genteel lady, who made us a savoury flan and an apple cake to have for our lunches. Because all the main tourist attractions were nearby it was just so convenient to return to our room for lunch, which we usually had on the terrace, looking up to that amazing fortress.

I would go back!

This place was really great especially due to the location and the views from the room. The owner Dino took the time when we arrivedto sit down and explain the city to us. Our room had an amazing view looking onto the old walled city. You’re about a 10 minute walk from the walled old town but you’re right in the back yard of the old fort on the hill overlooking the town. It’s a great location- away from the hubbub of the city but still in a quaint and unique area. The main drawback is parking; however, I believe this would be a challenge wherever you stay. There are no on-site parking options. We parked on the street about a 20 minute walk away and paid (cash) as a newsstand kiosk for 24 hours. It worked out but it was not super easy. The location was clean and enjoyable. The photo was basically the view from the room although taken from the park right above the apartment.

Fantastic location, lovely host

We stayed in apartments Mia for a week and it was everything we needed. Dino, the owner, was so welcoming and gave us an extensive review of Dubrovnik including the location of all his favourite restaurants. The great location of our apartment meant we could pop back whenever we needed, from the wonderful beaches or from the old town without any hassle. The facilities in the apartment were just what we needed, it was great having a kitchen so we could save money by eating breakfast at home everyday. It felt like staying in a well equipped friends house. I would definitely recommend apartments Mia!

Loved the location. It's close to the old town without being inside the madness. Also close to a small beach. Run by a friendly couple and we had absolutely no problems with our stay. You have to keep bedroom doors open for the airconditioning, but this seems common in Croatia. Dubrovnik is awesome!

One of the Best Locations in Dubrovnik. Very Clean and very kind staff. Great beds, showers and location. I also felt very secure. The only 2 bits of advise. The owner smokes indoors and you can smell it and there are plenty of steps to get to this great location. If you have large heavy bags it may be difficult without help as many places are similar to this in this area.

The room was very small but built into the rock which made it unusual and novel. The room had everything we needed including a kettle, hot plate and lots of hot water. We really enjoyed the room. Best of all was the location, so close to Pile gate. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

The host was very kind and helpful and the position was excellent, close to everywhere, but still quiet. The apartment was very clean, but the amenities quite basic and the shower head needed a wall bracket. There was no WiFi available during my stay. The best location in and around Dubrovnik

Located just below the iconic Lovrijenac fort, between two small and almost forgotten bays with excellent restaurants you have serenity and beauty of the times past within literally one minute walk of the main entrance to the old city of Dubrovnik (Pile). The host is very helpful and gives you all the tips and pointers where to get the best of Dubrovnik without having to pay exorbitant amounts of money.

Perfect location

Apartments Mia have the perfect location for a stay in Dubrovnik. They are close to bars, restaurants and beaches. A 5 minute walk will take you into the old town. The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean, but furnishings were a little dated. The owner was very helpful and provided excellent guidance on the best restaurants and swimming areas. We did however find the apartments difficult to find especially after a late flight. Few apartments and hotels have signage in Dubrovnik, and many people did not know where they were. A better description on their official website of how to find them is needed. Our apartment had an outdoor sitting spot which we really enjoyed. Our flight home was not until evening and we appreciated the generosity of the owner in allowing us to leave our cases and use his apartment to change after we had checked out. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation but you need full mobility as there are a lot of steps to cope with.

Killer Location Spoiled by Dirt and Smell

This is a killer location, and the landlord is a friendly guy, but the dirt and grime everywhere and the terrible smell in the bathroom coming from the leaky toilet ruins the experience. The towels are made of plastic, and the staircase is narrow and steep. You would have to be pretty fit to pull a 50 LBs piece of luggage up to the room.

We stayed in this lovely place on our recent visit to Dubrovnik! The location of the property is absolutely amazing - probably the best you can get! The owners are lovely, nothing is too much trouble to Dino and his family. Dino talked us through all local attractions and gave us some fantastic recommendations! Dino and his family have made our stay brilliant! The rooms are clean with air con and fantastic wifi connection! I would highly recommend this place and absolutely can not wait to go back to Dubrovnik and stay here again!!!!

Just outside gate of Dubrovnik makes for excellent location. 2 bedroom apartment had everything you need and owner very nice and informative. It is not on vehicle accessible street and you must carry luggage a fair distance to the apartment.

Not a bad apartment if you consider the location (just right out of the Old Town) but a horrible place if you are expecting professional and warm service. Wifi worked for only the first day but no connection afterwards. You couldn't really complain since the owner was hard to reach and other staff continuously gave the good old response; 'No English!' Finally when you got a hold of the owner, he did not care to offer an appology but got angry at me for complaining. Surely does not meet the standard accomodations you would expect from Hotels.com.

Affordable place just outside the city wall

It’s an under two-minute walk to the city wall, next to Fort Lovrijenac and less than a minute from a small bay with beach. It’s on a quaint street of apartments and low key restaurants. Make sure you have a map to find the place, it's super easy to find once you know where it is.

I stayed in a room as opposed to the apartment - it had everything for a good base. The apartments are renovated out of a big house on a slope so each room is unique (my wall was part rock) which was kind of cool.

The owner is friendly and was a great host. He helped me make the most of the time there.

Wonderful Stay Next to Old Town

We loved this apartment / hotel rental. The location is amazing. It's right on the edge of old town and a 1 minute walk to an amazing swimming cove and castle. Had we not stayed here we may not have known about this amazing swim spot next door. Service was great and the owner was incredibly helpful. My girlfriend was on crutches due to an injury and we showed up early day of check in. They let us in to our room hours before the pre-approved time. They also let us leave our bags in their home after we checked out but before our bus to Split. Very accommodating!

We had a great visit here - the size of the flat was perfect for the two of us and we had everything we needed for our comfort including a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Dino was very welcoming and willing to help - for example he gave us a map, talked us through the high points, made restaurant recommendations and offered to make reservations for us for places he knew would be busy. He was also easily contacted so we could ask quick questions if we were unsure about how anything worked. The location was great as well - just two minutes from the town gate but away from the main street so nice and quiet. Less than 2 minutes to a great swimming spot as well. We'd definitely like to stay again when we return to Dubrovnik (and it was wonderful, I can't wait to go back!).

Not what we had booked

First, you have to understand that there are seven rooms in this hostel. We booked through expedia looking at the photos and thinking we had booked a normal room with 4 walls (That is what the photos show). But expedia show photos of the normal rooms and they do not show the photos of this specific room.

When we arrived, we were brought to what can be describes as a ''cave'' (One wall is the face of the mountain, the room is the width of the bed, no tv, wi-fi working 10% of the time). We shortly noticed the strong smell of humidity and ammonia in the room, and there were 6 big dead insects behind the bed. We told the situation to the owner, which did a short (1 minute) cleaning of the room saying that ''this should be OK now, keep the AC to the max and the smell will go away''. We did, and when we came back at night to sleep, the smell was as strong as before, and we found more insects (alive this time) inside the room.

That's when we decided that this did not make sense to pay 100 euros for this room. We asked the owner if he had another room available for us. He said yes, but since it was a bigger room, we would have to pay an extra 85 euros /day (!!!), for the next two days of our stay (the larger room was not available the first night). We did not want to pay extra money. Next morning, my wife had a headache so we decided to quit. The owner did reimbursed 200 euros for the two nights we did not stay.

This room is not worth your money, this is unfair to tourists

10% Fee To Use A Credit Card!?

The manager; Dino, hit us with a 10% increase in our room rate if we used our credit card. He wanted us to pay cash in Euros to avoid paying the last minute fee he came up with. Nowhere on your web site did we ever see this fee disclosed. I think he was making it up as he went along. Left a bad taste in our mouths.

We booked here last-minute and were met by the host nearby, who helped us park our car in the small winding streets. The apartment was great, nice and spacious and quiet, and the location was better than expected. One caveat: Although it says \"self-serve laundry,\" we were charged 10 euros for someone else to do our laundry.

Great apartment, personal service.

Dubrovnic, old city is very crowded and very hot and humid in August. Apartments MIa are air conditioned and a couple of hundred yards outside the main gate where all the tourist coaches drop off the day trippers--but, it is down a little side alley that no one goes down without good reason, so a haven of peace.

There is a little swimming cove just beyond the apartments used almost exclusively by locals and a very nice, never overcrowded, terrace over the sea, restaurant half way between the apartments and the main gates and above another little cove with kayaks for hire. At night peaceful young locals (I guess) sit down there by the water.

Great location, price and very friendly owner!

We stayed at Mia apartment 2 for one night. We found this apartment last minute and it was a great find! It has a great location, very close to best restaurants, beach and old town city. It is also just a min to go to the castle. Apartment was clean and spacious, we were total of 4 people in one apartment and were comfortable. Dino, the owner of Mia was amazing and very helpful. He recommended the best restaurants in town, sightseeing and even arrange a taxi ride for us to go to Marina. The price, quality and hospitality were outstanding! Thank you Dino, we will come see you again next year!

Uncomfortable stay!!!!

This was a really bad stay and felt that the landlord has bias on people from different places. No hot water for shower, wifi didnt work very well in the room. Room is too small. It was really terrible stay and made the impression on Dubrovnik really bad as well!

Very welcoming and friendly staff, comfortable stay, great views, great value for money. Stayed in a few other places around Dubrovnik and this was my favourite. Very convenient - near the Pile gates so walking distance to old town centre and close to bus stop.

very bad experience

We booked a sea view room but it was not. The room is one of the rooms of the owner apartment. The toilet is not inside the room but outside and this made us felt very uncomfortable. The roof was leaking during the raining night and wet our bed.

Well located appartment close to the centre.

This stay got off to a bad start when we couldn't gain access to appartment. After 30mins of 'phoning and trailing luggage up and down the area in very hot conditions we went to Tourist Info. who managed to locate Owner. He said he had tried to contact us but had been ringing our UK no. and there was nothing on our e-mails which I check daily when away. The first appt. he took us to was dark, in need of decoration and poorly fitted out, (no kettle for a start) It also had a spiral staircase up to the bedroom with poor access to lighting for the bottom steps. As we are both in our early 70s we were worried about this. He assured us that we would get a better appt.(1 floor up) the next day when it became empty. This duly happened and we were very happy with the new appt. and agreed with the Owner to stay an extra night for which he gave us a small price reduction. I think changing tenants around is not unknown for this Owner as he seeks to maximise occupancy!!.

Great spot!

Nice, clean, cozy apartment. Dino was great! Things to remember though - keeping a car and moving luggage in and out of the place is a mess. You're up a couple flights of stairs and it's about a ten minute walk from anywhere cars are allowed to drive, but it's otherwise a great spot!

No a good experience, my booking was \" Double Room, Ensuite, Sea View\" however, it was a room inside the owner apartment and not open to the balcony. No sea view.The roof of the room was leaking during a raining night. the bathroom was outside the bedroom. The WiFi didn't work.The price for this room €146.67 was too expensive.

Cave charm

The apartment we rented was quite eunique, and reminded me of a cave or a ship's cabin. It is great for a night or two, to tour the old town as a couple or a pirate on a solo mission. Dino is a good captain, up front and surly as expected, but generally kind and helpful. Although small, the room is cozy, mysterious and well kept. I would indeed recommend this room, as the price was also fair relative to the astromical mark up In this area.

Great location, comfortable stay poor Wifi

Great location just outside the Pile Gate of the old city. Stay was comfortable, kitchenette is not well stocked with utensils/pots & pans etc, but it worked okay for our meal preparation. There was basically no Wifi when we stayed there. The owner tried to fix it, and gave us a small discount per day, but it was an inconvenience.

Cheap and cheerful

This apartment is situated very close to Pile Gate and beside the sea. It could not be better situated. The owner is polite and efficient. Also lives very close by so is easily contacted if necessary. The rooms are basic enough with lino on the floor and doors in need of renewal. All necessaries are there, however, and for the money the place is excellent. I would stay there again.

Great Location next to the Old Town

Great stay and Dino was a terrific host/owner. The location in the Pile area couldn't be better-only a 5 minute walk to the old town, but just far enough away so there wasn't noise. Dino also took time when I arrived to point out on a map what to visit in Dubrovnik and recommended several restaurants, which ended up being excellent suggestions. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

Dino was a excellent host!

Very central, literally jumped of the shuttle bus from the airport and was in the apartment in 10min. It sit just outside The Old City walls. Dino was an excellent host, he recommended some great restaurants, told us cool things to do and was very pleasant.

It was overpriced and very basic. Sheets on the bed were old and did not match. It was just a basic room that is all there was to offer. The WIFI did not work in the room only outside the door. speaking to other people who stayed in similar accommodation we feel we were overcharged. It said it had sea view from the balcony, but that is where the owner hung his washing so you werent able to see the small view of ocean that you could. First night we were over charged and did not pay the equivalent in euros to what we were quoted. It was reduced slightly the second night. We left after two nights. The owner was pleasant and helpful with places to see etc. He did not issue a receipt for money paid for the accommodation. I am pleased we only stayed the two nights. the location is good. The room was clean.

We stayed for two nights. The location was great, and the room was clean. However, the internet didn't work when we were there, which was super annoying. In addition the room was extremely cramped and smelled strongly of disinfectant or something when the air conditioning was off and slightly off urine when the air was on. No idea why.

Brilliant location but would only recommend for a one night stay as a stopover for visiting the old town. It is not suitable for along stay. It is tiny!! Also recommend getting very, very clear directions and a very clear arrangement for arrival - we couldn't find it with a sat nav! And despite 3 calls to the owner, he didn't seem that bothered about trying to help us out!

Worried about financial arrangements

This was a room rather than a hotel but it is in a great location, just outside the old city walls. My concern was the proprietor insisted upon cash payment, not accepting the local currency, let alone credit cards. I hope we were not adding to the black economy! I was surprised that such an arrangement existed after booking through hotels.com

This apartment rental is in a fantastic location, is very comfortable, and most importantly, the couple that run it are genuinely concerned about your comfort. Dino gave us an excellent orientation and his wife was kind enough to offer us coffee in the morning. Although we only stayed two nights, anytime they saw us, they we asking if they could help with anything. Great experience!

Live right beside Old City Dubrovnik

Apartments Mia was a great experience. Our host, Dino, arranged for an airport pickup and met us as we got out of our car. He was kind and courteous and always seemed genuinely concerned with our comfort and satisfaction. The apartment is situated just below Lovrijenac Castle (a filming location for \"Game of Thrones\" by the way) and almost literally a \"stone's throw\" from the Old City. You can walk out your door and be entering the old city through Pile Gate in less than 5 minutes. There's a small quiet stone beach about two minutes away. A great sandy beach on the opposite side of the old city. You can easily catch a bus or taxi to other parts of Dubrovnik. Dino is also helpful with restaurant recommendations and other sightseeing questions. Overall, we were very happy and would stay here again!

We just had one night in Dubrovnik at the end of a week in Montenegro so we were just looking for somewhere that was cheap and close to the old town. The Mia Apartments were so well priced we really weren't expecting much. However, when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that the room was very comfortable and extrememly clean. Dino the friendly owner met us with no issues and showed us to some local parking. The location is excellent. Its just below Dubrovnik Castle and only a couple of minutes walk from both the old town and even less of a walk to the sea. Absolutely perfect for what we needed and if you want a longer stay they have apartments with Kitchenettes.

Arrived in Dubrovnik around 9:30pm - Dino from the Mia met us at the Hilton and walked us to the apartment tucked away and not easy to find, suggest maybe pre-arranging airport transfer with the Mia Apartments. Apartment clean and comfortable, quiet. Internet worked well. Mia Apartments, excellent location for those not wishing to pay a fortune. Old City; Bus Stop; Day Tour pick-up point; Bank; Information Centre all within five-six minute walk.
Don't accept Credit Card for payment prefer Euro or Kuna

I loved the location - just outside the Old City Walls, just a few meters from the Adriatic and just below a wonderful old fort. just outside the old city walls but that actually makes it more desirable - less hectic than inside the walls with so many tourists. this hotel suited us just fine. and the owner was quite helpful and hospitable. It isn't fancy, but we liked it quite well.

Excellent lodging for Dubrovnik visitors

Excellent experience at Apartments Mia. The rooms are clean, functional, safe, and the staff (actually Dino and his family) are most friendly and helpful. Follow their recommendations on where to go in Dubrovnik -- they know what they are talking about. Best part is that you are literally two minutes from the main entrance to the Old City of Dubrovnik. You can see the city walls and the Adriatic sea from the apartment terrace, and are a couple of minutes from some of the finest restaurants in Dubrovnik. If you are looking for a place with romantic ambience as well as outstanding value, this is it. Highly recommend Apartments Mia.

Located a couple of minutes from the Pile gate the Apartment is in a great location, right by the sights, a beach and easy to get to/from. The room itself was clean, had air conditioning and a nice bed and Gino and his family were excellent hosts. If I go back to Dubrovnik I'd stay there again.

We've had a great stay at MIA Apartments. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location is very good, as it's only a few minutes walking to the Old Town.

The service was great as well, we received a lot of information about the town and things to do, we could leave our bags there for the day after check out, etc.

Can definitely recommend MIA Apartments to anyone!

The room was in a house with amazing views of the old town, walking distance to a small stoney beach and all the amenities of the old town and also just benath the Fort. Lovely spacious double room with private shower room. The owner was very hospitable and could not have been more helpful. We would definately stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They also organised us a taxi to the airport. Dino was a lovely host. The main attraction of Apartments Mia is the great location. While there is no direct road access (a short walk from nearest carpark), it is extremely close to a swimming beach, the fortress and the city walls.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was lovely and cool given the hot weather! It was basic in terms of amenities but easily sufficient for our needs.

Would highly recommend Apartments Mia.

Dubrovnik is a wonderful destination and Mia apartments are in a good location to access everything within the city.
Owner Dino and his family are extremely helpful and friendly.
Not the Grand but extremely good value, recommend.
Dalmatian wine, food and people are first class, not to mention the history.
