When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect. If you need a clean, cheap place to lay your head for the night, I recommend this hotel. If you are in the need for all the frills of a beautifully updated, with all the amenities hotel- this is not for you.

When we parked there was a van in the parking lot playing very loud music and it was 10:00 pm at night. Also, the person checking us in didn't know what she was doing. She had to wait for someone to come back from a supper break. She was in a big hurt to leave.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at.

This was quite possible the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. Our first room had a strange odor to it, the bathroom was covered in mold and the beds had stains all over them. We were told that they would clean the beds. Came back and only the sheets were changed, the vomit and other fluids were still all over the coverlet and bedskirt. We had to scramble to find a room on a completely booked weekend in the area. They gave us a new room the next night. This one was in the same condition. Another night of trying to find a room. The last two nights we had to go an hour away. Manager/owner could care less about this and was nonchalant about the entire thing. Random woman was begging outside and came into the lobby to ask the clerk if his mom could give her a phone. AVOID UNLESS YOU DON\"T CARE BECAUSE YOU JUST NEED A BED FOR THE NIGHT.

We booked this as a basic stop-no real amenities beyond continental breakfast because we didnt kniw how late we'd arrive as we were coming after work and hubbys end time isnt set by the clock. Front desk agent just barely greeted me. Not rude but not friendly and welcoming either. Room was clean but there's NO ELEVATORS so we had to lug everything upstairs. No pool but there is a fitness room. The breakfast was a no. Very basic packaged food and the ubiquitous waffle maker. Breakfast pastries included Ho-hos and Little Debbie oatmeal cream cookies. Hubby said coffee was concentrate on a bag and you add hot water. We opted to walk next door & buy breakfast at the Fork & Knife restaurant next door. I highly recommend this option.

Check-in was unfriendly - no one told us there was no elevator or where the stairs were (very end of the hall). Hotel room was quite worn ('leather' worn off chair in spots, window valence sagging). Area was sketchy with strange people (friends of the employees?) hanging around the property. Would not recommend.

Bathroom door did not close-didnt fit in the door jam. Lights not working. Room darkening shades had holes in it covered by scotch tape. None of appliances plugged in-when I tried-didnt reach the plug. TV did not work. Lamp shade broken. Tub faucet dripping. Overall in poor condition.

The first room they put me in, the room smelled musty/moldy. Was moved to a different room, killed spiders in the room, sheets on the one mattress and stains all over the sheets. Flood light outside the room was flickering all night and the tub looked dirty. Also, one of the lamps was missing a light bulb. Was not impressed.

Front office was slow, disinterested, and absent on multiple occasions. The room was falling apart, the television did not turn on, and our room had a strong odor that smelled like cats and humidity. There was also a man blaring music in his black Challenger outside of our window each night. Every time I looked out the window, the car was either running, moved a few spots over, or had someone lighting up some kind of drug paraphernalia, all while the same loud song played on repeat at all hours of the night. Our room keys only worked once, even after having them replaced. My family avoided coming back to the room all weekend long. Definitely not worth any bit of your money. Other guests we encountered were deeply underwhelmed by the staff and service as well.

Check was terrible took 15 minutes to find someone to do checkin. There were four families trying to checkin. Rang the desk bell multiple times and called twice. Both times the phone rang and there was no answer. The next night our key card didn't work, even though it was a multiple night stay. Other guests had the same problem . Room had an unknown smell and the security door latch was broken.

Booked 2 queen beds but clearly doubles. No elevator. At $120 per night, didn't expect to have to lug all of our luggage up the stairs. Said eco-friendly but didn't even recycle. Staff at check-in was unfriendly.

The place isn't awful. But the price was for a decent hotel. Instead, we got an okay motel.

I was given a room on the second floor. I would have preferred firat as i have a bad knee and there is no elevator; however, the room was quite comfortable. The bed was great!! I slept fantastic. Even with its close proximity to the highway, i really didnt hear the noise and the rest of the property was quiet also. It does look a little run down and the carpet was dingy but overall it was cery clean. For the price i was overall happy.

This is our favorite “home away from home” when traveling to the Manitowoc area. The staff is always friendly & accommodating and this is especially important to us as a dog family. For an extra pet fee our dogs are always welcome to join us and there is plenty of grass area and waste receptacles around the building grounds for quick & easy cleanup. They offer a continental breakfast and their entry way, breakfast & lounge area is always so festive & welcoming. The price is right, the place offers all you need & the plus is you can walk to a handful of restaurants offering different dining options or even the movie theater!

The room smelled like mold and mildew, one of the rooms had black mold behind the toilet. The shower was chipped and icky looking. The shower curtain was wrinkly and unkept looking. The fridge was wobbly. The air conditioner was old and didn't work well, either too hot or too cold, nothing in between. The windows screens were bent and there was no locking system for them, anyone could have broken in at any time. Definitely would not stay there again. There were dogs barking all night. Very limited continental breakfast. The only thing I liked was the coffee machine was available 24/7 and that was a real plus for me. It was way overpriced for what we got. Whole place needs help.

The room was very nice. Though extremely cold. The room AC was set likely assuming a normal 4PM check-in. To be fair we did not call ahead to state we would be a late check-in 10 or 11PM. Then again, no one checked the room since the check-in had not happened yet either. The main parking lot was full when we arrived. There was no signage to state that the adjacent lot was shared with Perkins or also part of the motel parking. We went around to the back lot which was not lit. All the parking lot lights were out. The trash area was open and overflowing. There were locals or guests drinking in a pickup adding to the atmosphere of a lack of safety. All staff that we interacted with were excellent.

Not sure if this comment is for the property or Travelocity, we paid the w/breakfast rate however there is a posted sign stating the offered breakfast is for all guests. Why were their two rates listed in Travelocity?

Our check in with Rachel was flawless and top notch. When we got to the room, the tv wouldn't turn on. Rachel fixed that. Then the picture went dead but the tv still had sound. Rachel connected with the maintenance person. HE WAS NOT a timely person.......we contacted Rachel three times concerning his lack of showing up. He finally did...over and hours wait....
.he didn't know what was wrong and we were moved to another room. After over and hour plus ordeal, the problem was solved for us. The room we were moved to was very nice AND the tv worked.

He gave me a real I’m which didn’t exist and then a second floor (no elevator) room with two queens (supposed to be a king). The room and hall smelled funky. Allows pets (we didn’t have one) but our room had a urine smell along with strong mildew odor and there was dog poop outside on the sidewalk and pet food someone spill right in front of the entrance and they left it .
Beds and bathroom were clean and it had a great size fridge. Bathroom door however had some sort of ick on it and a large booger smeared on the wall. Door had to be pushed shut or the door didn’t latched shut even if it looked closed.

The check-in area was filthy and smelled bad. The staff was unfriendly and sloppy looking. When we went to our room and opened the door the smell of smoke and incense filled the air yet, it was an non-smoking room. Upon entering the room we noticed that the ceiling had been patched in multiple places the entire length of the room and unpainted. The bathtub was stained and dirty looking. There was visible dirt on the carpet and the comforters had dried blood on them. The lady at the front desk said the room was double checked for cleanliness which was a lie and she didn’t even offer an apology for our inconvenience. When I asked for a telephone number of someone I could contact regarding our complaint she said there was no corporate office. We left without a refund it was that horrible!

What I like about this place was the bed and pillows. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were actually soft. Most motel pillows feel like they have been filled with wet feathers and would cause head injuries in a pillow fight. No downsides for me when I stayed.
