Disappointed in our stay this time. Sidewalk was not shoveled making it difficult to get luggage to and fro. Walls and lights haven’t been dusted or cleaned. Shower head was broken and didn’t flow right making a mess of the bathroom floor.

The front desk staff were very friendly and thorough. They handled everything extremely well. The room was clean, but didn't really stand out in any way. I guess that's a good thing overall. The room was tidied each day, which was nice considering how things have been lately. The breakfast was good but different as you have to put in your order for the next morning the night before. That's all well and good, but things happen sometimes and it makes for a less leisurely morning as you feel like you have to make your reservation time. I get why they do it so that things are more fresh and they don't have hot food sitting out under warmers. But, if they're going to do that, just take my order when I get there.
The gym was very small. It had an elliptical machine, treadmill, and dumbbells with a bench. The gym even had its own bathroom with shower. However, it is very tight quarters, so I was glad no one else was using it whenever I went. Also, the gym was under construction so had quite a mess in it. And, on one day a random chair was in the room too when the room was small enough as it is. The place had a game room too, which was a nice touch even if it wasn't something I would use. All in all a nice place and convenient to the highway.

What decent person books a room on the 2nd floor for a person on a cane? I walked into this motel to get a room for the night. The guy at the front desk clearly saw that I was on a cane. After taking my ID, he goes to the backroom and looked at some papers on the wall. He proceeds to assign me a room on the 2nd floor. They’re was hardly any cars there so it’s not like they were booked up. I get to the room after struggling to get my luggage upstairs (no elevator) and find that there’s barely any water pressure in the shower. It’s as if the guy intentionally put me on the second fl with known issues with the shower. I used to like this place. It’s the last time I stay there.

Staff is always wonderful. Coffee was available throughout the day which I love, and it wasn’t old. The only concern I have staying here is the mold on lamp shades and in the bathroom. The shower head looks like it needs to be replaced or decalcified, it sprays everywhere. Breakfast is great. Location is just what we needed.

When we checked in the gentleman was very nice and professional. The next morning went to get our breakfast and staff was to busy visiting to do there job. Waited on coffee and had to tell then when it was done brewing because they were visiting. Said they didnt have syrup and didnt look and went back to visiting. I found it. Rooms were a ok. Could use some fixing. Sorry to say I will not check into this place again.

This was a super convenient location for our trip to Green Bay for a Packers game! We were able to be nearby without the high costs of staying in town, and Manitowoc was just a brief drive away. There was even an affordable shuttle option to eliminate the need to drive, find parking, etc. It was nearby Walmart and Menards plus plenty of food options, so conveniently located where we could get anything we needed. We enjoyed exploring Manitowoc while we were there as well. The room has everything we needed and the bonus of a third bed which we weren't expecting! They offered made to order breakfast each morning with an efficient system and plenty of options while reducing food waste, which I appreciated. The bathroom had a separated space for the sink and mirror which was great for saving time getting ready. The fridge was also really handy and they had reasonable rates for food and drinks (including Spotted Cow!) in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again next time we're in town!

Only one light in the room proper worked, and it wasn't the bulbs. The faucet dripped constantly. But the place was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The ordering of breakfast before is efficient for the kitchen but not the guest-I have to make decisions the night before when and what to eat. The overall appearance of the place was fresher than last year, but needs to catch up in maintainance.

This might be the best value hotel I've every stayed at. The low price includes a free breakfast. The whole hotel appears to have been renovated recently. The room was small but in good shape and was very clean. The common areas were brightly lit, have a very modern appearance, and were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. I have nothing but nice things to say and look forward to coming back in the future.

We were able to stay with our two dogs. The property is newly remodeled, clean, quiet, with friendly knowledgeable staff and if you want hot breakfast you order the day before. We felt 100% comfortable with our dogs. Very close to everything. We love Manitowoc and Two River area to allow our dogs to swim. Great place to stay!

Black mold in the room.
We arrived late on Friday night and we were exhausted from driving almost 6 hours to get there so we just wanted to get our stuff out of the car and get into the room. Upon checking in I found out that there was no elevator and I can barely do stairs so my daughter and the guy at the front desk brought everything up to the room for us. When I got into the room all I could smell was mold and mustiness. We were so tired and just assumed that the room had been closed up for a while and just needed to be aired out so we went to bed. We just got into our pajamas and crashed for the night after everything. We were planning on being gone for the entire day on Saturday so we got ready in the morning and then we left. When we came back on Saturday night the room smelled the same even after having the AC on all day. My daughter walked around the room to see if she could find mold anywhere and on the curtains she found lots of spots of black mold and because it's right over the AC it had been blowing the curtains and the mold all over us all night long. They were also lots of hairs found in the bathtub and I took a picture of the corner of the tub where there were a couple of hairs. My daughter went downstairs to complain and they told her they couldn't do anything and that the hotel was booked solid. In the morning they told me the manager would get in touch with me and he never called me. All the other hotels were booked solid and I couldn't afford to change hotels anyway.

The bed was massive, a climb into but super comfy. Despite being close to a busy road it was rather quiet. The guys that checked me in/out were nice.

Our room was quite humid & smelled slightly like mildew. The walls weren't cleaned very well, there were stains throughout room and bathroom. Other than that the room was very nice. Surprising little game room with a claw machine, shuffleboard, dart machine and slot machines. Coin laundry room available. They have a nice complimentary breakfast that you must place an order for. All in all I would stay here again, great value for your money.

We just wanted a room to spend the night and the room we were given was perfect. It was clean, small and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. This is how I like hotel rooms. I don’t need extra stuff in a room. Give me a bathroom, comfortable bed, and a tv. That’s it. We did not try the breakfast but it looked better than what other big chains offer. They actually offered hot breakfast sandwiches. Would stay here again if in the area.

We chose the cheese & bacon omelet. Bacon was scarce and the cheese was not real cheese. I chose the mini cherry strudel (emphasis on mini) and although it was flaky, the inside was hollow with a piece of cherry stuck to the outside. We went out to breakfast the second morning rather than eat in. Everything else was fine.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. They are super dog-friendly and didn't have an issue when I was informed there was no note that I had dogs when I confirmed shortly before arriving that I would have 2 dogs with me. We had a king room right by the exit for easy potty access. The rooms were very quiet, and I couldn't hear my neighbors from the room, but could in the hallway. The made-to-order breakfast was a nice touch. The only downside of the hotel is that the toilet hadn't been properly cleaned (dark rim around the inside), and the bathroom walls looked like they had mold on the walls.
