Great place to stay.
Shellie
The hotel was great and the staff was spectacular but ordering breakfast was weird and confusing
Bill and Joan
Breakfast was a nice surprise. Fresh omlets.
DANIEL
Parking was tough. You can tell it used to allow smoking. But great stay
Dan
Clean comfortable place
Glenn
Make note there is no elevator, if you are traveling with any heavy luggage you need to haul it upstairs yourself. The breakfast made to order omelette that was good.
John
Let's start with the value. My room for the night was $244 less expensive than the Baymont Inn in Plymouth the same night. So, the dollar value was excellent. The hotel is generally clean but appears to be in the process of updating. My room appeared to be recently painted but the carpet was pretty old. The bathroom fixtures were also pretty tired. They offered cooked to order meals included in the room cost but I had to leave before the kitchen opened, so I can't comment on the breakfast. They had coffee and fruit out by 6:15 AM so at least the dining area wasn't dark and locked off for early risers. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Road America so it's a viable option if you're attending a big race weekend and hotels near the track have jacked up their prices. I checked in kinda late and left early so I was looking for value and this hotel was good for the money. Check the various booking websites for pricing. I'd say it was 3/5 the hotel for 1/4 the price. Good, not great but great for the money.
Michael
Great breakfast that was made fresh to order.
Shirley
Staff was friendly and helpful. Property was attractively updated. Large lobby with TV, coffees - breakfast room. Outdoor patio with grill, fire pit & nice seating. Room was fine.
Erika
Hotel was located in good area, older hotel that has been updated. Clean. Our room had a lot of moisture and bit of mildew smell could benefit from better dehumidifier system.
Susie
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. Check-in was quick and easy, and everyone I interacted with went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.
The room was spotless, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the attention to detail throughout the property.
The hotel's location was convenient, making it easy to get to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The common areas were clean and inviting, and it was clear that the staff takes great pride in maintaining the property.
Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so enjoyable!

The place was clean, staff was very helpful and the included breakfast was quite good (I'd recommend the biscuits and gravy).
Kathleen
Was very nice

This property is a \"refurbished\" Super 8. The desk/lobby/breakfast area look very nice but little attention was paid to our room, from the entry door to the bathroom, to the furniture. The entry door paint was badly and only partially touched up. Cleanliness was sorely lacking; filthy fan cover, light fixture, woodwork, and walls in the bathroom, dirty mirror in the main room, dirty upholstered chair. Some of the wood furniture was damaged and missing hardware. One of the dresser doors had a drywall screw sticking out of it by an inch on the inside, The TV wouldn't turn on when we arrived. To fix it, the manager had to move the dresser and do something with \"the old outlets and wires\" but he assured us it was safe. The room rate for two double beds was $194 so I expected much more than what we were provided. Stay elsewhere!
Lawrence
Have stayed here a number of times over the years, always a very clean, comfortable stay. Staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Will be here again in the future.

Nice staff

The made-to-order breakfast is a nice touch
Elizabeth
I was pleasantly surprised with the Harbor Town Inn! Sunny was so kind and helpful to us as well as every other member of their staff. I loved that the hotel itself wasn’t huge - just two floors- and it was a great group of travelers that were lodging alongside us. In no way did we ever feel anything but safe and well accommodated. My 11 year old boy loved the small game room & the gym too! Breakfast was amazing and I especially loved being able to fill out our rooms menu preferences the night before. Sunny helped me mail some postcards without complaint also! Would definitely recommend!

Staff were great
Brook
Room was clean. Staff went above and beyond. There is a continental breakfast buffet. They also have free items to order, including omlettes, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt, hash browns, etc.
They may renovate on a regular basis. During my stay they replaced the toilets in every room.
Decent fitness room with treadmill, elliptical and free weights.

We had a clean and comfortable room. The location is in a busy area of town, but plenty of options nearby. Breakfast was definitely a plus.
MaryTeresa
It is the ONLY place I will stay at when in Manitowoc. Clean rooms, plenty of parking, close to stores, very friendly staff, dog friendly (a new criteria for me), great amenities. The price is affordable.
thomas
Great place to stay very clean close to downtown and shopping
Benjamin
Staff was very attentive and helpful. Much more than expected for the price we paid, especially for a pet-friendly hotel. Would definitely come again.

We have stayed here many times before & have always enjoyed our stay. We’ve arrived early & they have always accommodated us with no hassle which we GREATLY appreciated!! Rooms were clean, staff very nice, price very reasonable, surprisingly nice & quiet for a 4th of July weekend and free ample breakfast. The one and only unpleasant thing was the small-sized toilet in this room. Not sure if this was the case in the other rooms?
Milton
Room was extremely clean. Lots of hot water and pressure for shower. Very nice and cute common area. Personalized breakfast choices are a nice add.
Scott
Room was clean bed was comfortable quiet
Hersha
This was hotel was a nice surprise. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I haven slept in. The staff was friendly and inviting.
shakeira
Breakfast could be done differently.
Ann
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, liked fridge but no freezer. Internet stopped working on television, remote in workout room wouldn't work either. Had to ask for key to be reprogrammed, got locked out?
Manager was quick to help even though he couldn't fix it. Breakfast was great and cooked to order so hot and fresh. Hotel was convenient distance to ferry.

Nice place.

Wish I never booked this place. Room had a hole in the wall and floors were sticky! Gross!! Breakfast was mediocre at best. Avoid if you can.
Michelle
Staff were unkind and not helpful at all. I would never stay here ever again. They ignored me and didn’t answer any questions I had.
Luke
The room was nice and clean. Everything is good.

Breakfast was made to order. Ver personable!

Hotel was older and needed updating. Beds and the water pressure were the best things about here. Toilet had a black ring around the inside and got plugged. Bedding did have spots on it and the carpet was old. Bathroom needed upgrading. Breakfast was a breakfast sandwich, mini waffle, tiny Danish, and sausage and biscuit. Staff was great.
Tammy
The lobby, eating area and outdoor sitting area were very nice and well-maintained. The room we had was ok. It smelled a bit musty at first. The bathroom had been re-done but the stuffed chair and carpet were stained. The microwave needed a good outside cleaning. The refrigerator was clean. The walls had so.e stains, etc. Sadly most places never deep clean. The bed was comfortable, sheets seemed clean and the pillows were big and very nice, and the air conditioner / heater worked well.
CHRIS
Toilets to low for people with hip replacements
Jill
Convenient location to downtown. Mostly clean and comfortable for being old and little rundown.
John
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was awful. They need quality food and a better cook. Had to go to the lobby to get coffee, ice, etc. Would have been nice to have coffee in the room. No daily room service as promised. Windows on the first floor were unlocked and easily opened (check your windows for security!). Several rooms door lock systems quit working and staff had to unlock your door for you - this took way too long to fix. Though I do have to credit the owner for trying to do this in a timely manner, he should have been more prepared. Overall, not worth what they charged.
Kurt
Just ok.
Gary
Fantastic stay. Breakfast was exceptional

Staff was helpful, my only complaint was some stains on the sheets. Not that bad but they didn't look clean.
Melissa
Property seems like it’s being renovates, which is great. The parts that were updated are very nice!! Keep going. Checked in very late and staff was very nice!! Breakfast included was a bonus and good. Thank you!!
Alison
The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful, every one of them! Refilling the shampoo and soap would have been nice but was not a big deal. Also, the dog waste dispenser is an excellent idea in the lawn area but there were no bags to be had.
Andrew
Comfortable, clean and very nice associates
Cheryl
I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Made to order breakfast options were good and the food was tasty

The room was dirty & discusting. There was black mold in the bathroom shower. There was unidentifiable dirt shmeered on the bathroom walls. The bathroom door was dirty. There was a lot of dust on the baseboards & behind the furniture. The room smelled musty. I also dont like the fact that the people running the property are not american & do not live up to the same cleanliness standards that i expect from a hotel. I guess i will have to book more expensive hotels from now on. I should have been able to cancel the room & get a full refund ( i was not aware that expedia charged my cc). I should have been able to rebook elsewhere. Very unhappy.

Don’t let their online photos fool you. That super cute place doesn’t exist. Not by the water. Cooked to order breakfast. Premade warmed (slightly) omelet. Grey orange juice. Staff seemed to be high and smoking marijuana just outside the door. Good bones but not well run.
Rose
The breakfast was a nice touch. I had breakfast the first morning, but left too early the second day to enjoy breakfast. Everyone seemed very nice, the carpet and such were a bit worn and dirty, but the hotel was extremely quiet, and I didn't have to worry about any pot smell coming down the hall during my visit. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
Shirrell
Front desk were very helpful and nice
Cameron
Everything was great but unfortunately we were there after a freak accident and the power went out. Totally fine and understandable. But they could have atleast apologized for the inconvenience or made some sort of guestr but oh well.
Gary

Toilet had a mildew stain, towels were tiny and thin along with the walls. The beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly!

Disappointed in our stay this time. Sidewalk was not shoveled making it difficult to get luggage to and fro. Walls and lights haven’t been dusted or cleaned. Shower head was broken and didn’t flow right making a mess of the bathroom floor.
Vida
I wasn’t able to stay. I had to leave the same day unfortunately I didn’t get a refund or any partial refund either.
Richard
The front desk staff were very friendly and thorough. They handled everything extremely well. The room was clean, but didn't really stand out in any way. I guess that's a good thing overall. The room was tidied each day, which was nice considering how things have been lately. The breakfast was good but different as you have to put in your order for the next morning the night before. That's all well and good, but things happen sometimes and it makes for a less leisurely morning as you feel like you have to make your reservation time. I get why they do it so that things are more fresh and they don't have hot food sitting out under warmers. But, if they're going to do that, just take my order when I get there.
The gym was very small. It had an elliptical machine, treadmill, and dumbbells with a bench. The gym even had its own bathroom with shower. However, it is very tight quarters, so I was glad no one else was using it whenever I went. Also, the gym was under construction so had quite a mess in it. And, on one day a random chair was in the room too when the room was small enough as it is. The place had a game room too, which was a nice touch even if it wasn't something I would use. All in all a nice place and convenient to the highway.

What decent person books a room on the 2nd floor for a person on a cane? I walked into this motel to get a room for the night. The guy at the front desk clearly saw that I was on a cane. After taking my ID, he goes to the backroom and looked at some papers on the wall. He proceeds to assign me a room on the 2nd floor. They’re was hardly any cars there so it’s not like they were booked up. I get to the room after struggling to get my luggage upstairs (no elevator) and find that there’s barely any water pressure in the shower. It’s as if the guy intentionally put me on the second fl with known issues with the shower. I used to like this place. It’s the last time I stay there.
Tricia
The first time we stayed it was great. This second time the room next to us was very loud all night, room wasn't as clean and we smelled weed the whole time we were there. Staff was great, but probably wont stay there again.
Amanda
Friendly staff and nice amenities.
Shelly
The room had a funny smell. The window was open when I arrived as if they were trying to air it out. It was 30 degrees outside. The hall smelled strong of smoke like someone smoking in their room.
I like to get on the treadmill when traveling but the fitness room was out of order.
The make to order breakfast was no different than something you could get at Kwik trip.

Spotless room, comfortable bed and cooked-to-order breakfast complimentary! Very nice hotel and incredibly priced!
Lauren Anne
Staff is always wonderful. Coffee was available throughout the day which I love, and it wasn’t old. The only concern I have staying here is the mold on lamp shades and in the bathroom. The shower head looks like it needs to be replaced or decalcified, it sprays everywhere. Breakfast is great. Location is just what we needed.
Winifred
We had a lovely stay in a comfortable, clean room being served by a friendly, hard-working staff. Our \"Do Not Disturb\" sign was respected; we were located 5 minutes away from all points Manitowoc; and had a delightful get-away for all of the above reasons.
Jasmine
Clean room, staff was very friendly, fun game room, breakfast was very good and made to order
Jean

When we checked in the gentleman was very nice and professional. The next morning went to get our breakfast and staff was to busy visiting to do there job. Waited on coffee and had to tell then when it was done brewing because they were visiting. Said they didnt have syrup and didnt look and went back to visiting. I found it. Rooms were a ok. Could use some fixing. Sorry to say I will not check into this place again.
Steven
Room was ok. Staff was very friendly

Benjamin
Room was good, bed was comfy, shower was great. not bad of a hotel at a very cheap rate. Has a old fashion feel to it which is really cool. Staff was really nice. The breakfast is good, only thing is that its only from 7-9 am which is a pretty short window. Other than that, if your looking for a cheap hotel, this is the place to choose. Likely will comeback again
