The staff made this property! It’s “budget” so you have to expect that it’s older and a little run down, but the staff were phenomenal! Our first night we came in late after a long day of travel, he really took good care of us, treating us special. It was the best service we had all day long. Every day was a repeat. Little kindnesses that made us feel valued. It’s rare to get that level of care.

For a budget hotel, the room was very well kept. Not only were the beds and beddings clean, but the carpeting on the floor was as well. The tub and toilet area was spotless, too. And not only was the sink clean, it drained very well! That's a MAJOR plus in a budget hotel.
The two story hotel does NOT have an elevator, so if stairs are an issue for you, request a 1st floor room.
Breakfast is included, and it's standard fare for a budget motel.
I recommend the place, and will stay here again!

When you first walked into the hotel, the smell of Weed was a lot. Not sure who was lighting it up but it even smelt on the second floor. They did put plug ins after in the hallway. Room was clean. Shower made a high pitch sound while running. It served its purpose.

The room was not that clean. Bathroom had sand dust on the toilet paper holder, there was mold that was painted over in the shower, window was able to open but the handle was broken off so anyone could open the window from outside. The tub had a big crack in it in a couple of places. Ac stopped working our second night. Toilet was so low to the floor you felt like you were sitting on the floor. The bed was very hard to sleep in. The breakfast had very little selections. Just over all unhappy. Would like a refund of some kind. When I booked the hotel the picture showed a recliner but they have no recliners and was told to talk to Expedia about that.

We got to the Hotel late about 10:00 pm. Took a shower ready to get out and there were no towels. My husband called down to the desk no answer phone rang a while and no answer. He had to go down from the second floor to get towels. The shower controls had mildew under the plastic. The telephone was dirty and things looked like something split and dried. Disgusting. The beds were clean and comfortable. Would not stay there again. They gave a house cleaning problem.

Very Average Accomodations

This is a typical budget hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's a 2-story hotel and there's no elevator. The sink in the room drained VERY slowly. But the TV channel selection was good, as was the LED lighting in the room. The air conditioning was accurate and quiet. We'll stay here again.

Dirty

Went to check and tried to swipe my card without telling me. I asked why he was swiping my card and he said there was $100 fee in case of smoking or peta. Got to our room and it smelled awful. Had the 2 queen beds and they were dirty with stains and whatever else. Sheets and pillow cases didn't look clean. The mini shampoo and conditioner bottles were used. Tub had dirt in it.

We weren't expecting much at the low price point, but there were still some disappointments: bathroom was kind of grungy, hairdryer didn't work, no protein at all on breakfast bar, water controls on both the sink and shower (which never did get hot) were backwards from standard set up... several weird things like that. Also, be aware that there's no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage or any mobility issues, you'll want to request a first floor room.

The check was fast and the attendant was nice. The room was comfortable, but the tv remote did not work. The free breakfast was inadequate. The eggs and sausage were cold. They had coffee and hot water, no juice. The toaster sisnt work. Only really tasty item was the waffles. Over-all, not great, but not terribly bad.

Bed Bugs Everywhere

My room was ok. But my crews room had bed bugs. They moved them to a second room, it also had bed bugs. They tried to move them to a third, but it did as well. Very poorly maintained hotel. They even have a sign on the door that says cleanliness you can count on. 😅😅😅 Ya, ok. Don't ever stay there. Horrible place.

My girlfriend and I meet up half way in Ottawa as we are long distance - this is our second stay at this particular location and it has been a great place for us to meet. Very quiet and as two AFAB people, we don’t feel unsafe or worried about the area. It’s right next to our favorite (Cracker Barrel) and a Starbucks!
