First of all, check-in. The very first day that we arrive Mexico. As the shuttle supposed to come and pick us up to take us to the resort which is booked with Expedia and paid 160$ already , I was gone at the proper spot with the grey line to ask them to take us to the resort that person check everything and ask us that we supposed to go to a different resort as when I initially booked Expedia give this option to change vacation or fully refund till march 12 and so I change my booking with different resort. Expedia allow me and refund me the resort after I easily changed my booking. As it was all inclusive vacation and everything comes under one package I assume that everything going to be changed the same thing as my airline tickets my shuttle and my resort everything booked with Expedia, It’s supposed to change everything by itself, but it did not happen so the guy at the airport asked me to pay more as the resort is now on different location as I check on my map it’s actually same in hotel zone but anyway I have to pay $40 US for change the resort. second thing when I reached the resort, Expedia did another thing just to change the resort . They change everything. I don’t know how it happened that it’s supposed to be four people family they only booked for two people room so the resort was asking me to pay them $457 for my kid as But my air ticket was booked with Expedia and all info was there for 4 of us booked resort was so nice very clean. I want to write more no space

The breakfast in the morning was nice to have. Would have loved a little more variety with the hot menu items. The staff were generally great but one or two were a little aggressive when we didn’t understand what the expectations were. Like not being served coffee after having been seated for a while so we thought we could serve ourselves just like with the food. Also, not very clear what could be ordered (we saw a lot of tables getting bacon and bottled waters only to find out that those were extra).

Not sure why there were things not included in the all-inclusive package. You have to read the fine print (ice cream not included!) Also there was no dish, dishwasher or laundry soap. On the bright side there is a mall and grocery store just outside the gate. Food was ok, but most ppl order lunch from the beach bar so it gets quite backed up. The wait staff are great, as is the beach, the hotel and the rooms.

Our stay at Paradise Village was excellent. The rooms were huge and felt brand new. There were multiple pools and hot tubs to choose from. The beach was great and we loved going boogie boarding. We also liked that there was a grocery store 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely go back.

Good food, good service, the beach is flawless.

Our son had his bracelet fall off in the pool 24th after getting there and it’s an $80 charge. We hassled them everyday to not charge us because it’s obviously not his fault, upon checkout we got it cut to $40. FYI my own bracelet also fell off at night just in my room when I was doing nothing at all. An adult lost bracelet may cost way more, so consider adding your own tape or taping it to another bracelet so it doesn’t come off.

Only the double alligator slide is open, and it’s pretty aggressive so smaller kids won’t like it.

Everything else was pretty great, the food was good and service too. The beach is mint.

Our stay at Paradise Village felt like PARADISE! We loved every minute of our vacation. My only complaint was signing after each of our all-inclusive tabs (food and drink). Be sure too include your credit card info for room charges so you can tip your servers!

It was the first time I was at a resort that you had to sign for everything with an all inclusive package it drove me nuts. I was constantly waiting for drinks so the paperwork would get printed out late in the evening. It was very difficult to get a drink or food unless you paid. Beac was beautiful thou

This was a chaotic experience. We received an outdated room which is more on par to a morel room not a resort room. Buffet was meh. Checking out, we were not given a check out ticket so was held up by the security gate. Not a pleasant experience at all.

The decent part were the spa staff and bell boys. Bonus points on the clean private beach.

In short, not my cup of tea and won't be coming back here.

Very clean rooms. Beautiful beachfront. Kind staff. Family oriented resort and it really quietens down by 9pm. Only critique is that the gym is not included and cost about $20 per entry, which was a major surprise and frustration for me. Secondly the gym was only open until 7pm. But outside of that, very happy with the stay.

The lunch and dinner was ok but I have to say that they often served shrimps, big one’s. That was very nice.
We bought all inclusive and every time we ordered something, even just a bottle of water, we had to wait for a receipt to sign. That annoyed us!

I have never had a resort treat me like this before. We arrived sooner then expected but regardless I messaged the resort weeks before letting them know we would arrive around 9am. We arrived at 7:45am and were told we could not enter the resort. We were left outside at a strip mall with our luggage for over 3 hours sitting on a park bench. After flying all night this was unbelievable. They could of at the very least held our luggage!!! This new rule of theirs was not mentioned!

The heated adult pool was great! the layout was also really good as little walking from room to pool to beach and lots of places to sit on beach. Food also very good on property! I got fooled though by local market - I thought it was a regular supermarket, but prices were more like convenience store. So if you want to stock up the room, go to Walmart or someplace. Staff was attentive and sales people not pushy (I did not buy as too hard to get there from Fort Lauderdale, I usually go to Cancun area), but deal was not bad.

No, the Sofa bed was old disgusting filthy dirty! The sheets in the bed had pee stains and were gross!! Room service came and gave us two mattress pads and clean sheets and a clean blanket. The sofa bed it self should be thrown in the garbage mattress is also extremely gross!!!!!! The rest of the resort was top notch very happy!!!!

The room was run down, dirty, had gnats, door didn’t close, it smelled like sewer and very neglected. I’ve stayed at this property for 10 years always through an owner (timeshare). This time booked directly and couldn’t be more disappointed. No way would I ever consider becoming an owner. So disappointing to see how you treat guests. The housekeeping even was unacceptable. We had to ask for towels, room to be serviced and various items that should be standard (like hand towels). This is a fail on this property bc they are so much better than this. But apparently not to non-owners.

The staff is not friendly to expedia bookings. They put us in a far off building with a broken elevator and far from all the restaurants and pools. Every time we got out, we had a 10m walk to anything. We didn't mind it cos we like to get our steps in.

We did a tour of the resort and got a chance to view some of the rooms in the newer buildings. I realized we got a really raw deal on that as well. The room we got also had a really loud AC and our 4y old kept waking up whenever it started through out the night.

I checked with Expedia to help change it, I also checked with the reception for a change nothing worked.

The food options are average. I've been to similar resorts in other locations in Mexico like Cancun and Cabo and options are very minimal. The food tastes good though. If you don't like salty food, then 60% of the buffet might not be for you.

Pools are great. My kid had a lotta fun. Beach access and towel options are great.

Had to walk over a quarter mile to a complex that appears to be an after thought on this property. The smell inside the unit was foul which made us leave the door open for several hours to send the funk outdoors.

No bellhop service when we checked out.

They placed a \"hold\" on my credit card for incidentals and damages. It's six days later and it hasn't been refunded.

Won't use this crooked location again.

The room was kept very clean and nice. The staff are almost all very kind and friendly. The ones who helped with our luggage and getting a taxi were exceptional. The food for dinner in the buffet could be better. The watermelon and apples were soggy. The meat is overcooked and hard to chew. Breakfast is very good. The wine was not good. Very confusing listing on Expedia. It looks like it may have been all-inclusive but it was not. You can't qualify for all-inclusive unless you stay at least 3 nights and it is $100/night/person which is steep since the food isn't that great and the drinks were not worthy either. We were upgraded I am sure to get us to buy into one of their time shares. The beach was great for going on a long walk and the waves were fun. Great shopping mall part of the property that was convenient and not too pricey.

The staff are so nice, Antonio from the snack bar was always so attentive. The rooms were terrible so dated and the beds are impossible to sleep. The nicer rooms and views are for members only. We complaint at front desk and they wanted us to pay more to move us to another room . The food it is terrible, cheap and taste bad. The only good thing is the snack options. But the morning buffet and dinner are really bad. Great actuvities for everyone during the day and the shows at night were really good. The pools are great and the location is great as is closer to the marina where many tours take off, and you feel really safe walking around the area. They have a little mall outside and a hospital if in case of emergency. The only sad part was the room, beds and food. We had option to go to the specialty esstaurant and we went to the Mexican one and the food is better, but it takes forever for your food to get to your table, it did not wow the food but it was better that buffet.

We stayed there for 5 nights. We did not get the all-inclusive so we did not eat at the resort. The facility was very clean and maintained. There’s a plaza/mini mall about a 5 minute walk away that was convenient. We ate there a few times and they had a grocery store there that was very convenient as our room had a kitchen. We felt absolutely safe as the area felt more like a gated community. Not being all inclusive restricted us in some ways, we weren’t able to participate in some of the evening events which we thought was a little unfair considering we were guests. They also have bikes and pickleball court you can rent, but all inclusive only allowed you to do it for two hours and then you had to pay afterwards. They have a gym room, but you have to pay to use it. Even if you’re all inclusive, you still have to pay for the gym. If it’s really all-inclusive, you think they would allow you to use the facilities more freely. We are glad we went the non all-inclusive route, it allowed us to enjoy the resort and go out and see different areas.There were two shows we did get to watch which were fun and entertaining. The marina is beautiful and the beach for us was a highlight. The beach water wasn’t as clear as other places we’ve seen to but is swimmable and you can check out boogies boards, frisbees etc which we enjoyed..

Really enjoyed this property. It’s obviously set up for time share members and less for all inclusive. The staff wait staff in all areas were amazing. The food was 9/10, only down fall fir all inclusive is the dining had exclusions. Cleaners works all day it was pristine. Did not like signing for every bill as resort is all inclusive, felt like waste of time and sometimes had to wait to sign. Only issue we had was after we did the timeshare “walk through” we were given $100 resort credit. Everything was auto charged to our room, but we had to prove the $100 room credit with a price of receipt paper. Felt like resort was trying to get $ out of us after they promised the credit.

Room was basic no personality. The AC leaked. I requested two beds for 2 adults got a king. Moved us the next day. The cleaning staff took our bottle of tequila we bought on an excursion. No balcony. The grounds were fantastic very clean. The staff was hit or miss but overall good. I hated having to sign for every drink and meal when we were on an all inclusive deal. Waste of our time. Food at the specialty restaurants were very good but outside of that it was edible. The drinks very bad with no hint of alcohol. Don’t bother with the timeshare presentation if you are doing it for the gift, we had to fight to get the gift that was promised. They need more entertainment during the day like live music not just kid stuff by the pool. Pools were nice. Hot tub was not very hot and many jets did not work. Had to pay to use the gym because we were not members. That’s nuts.

All inclusive buyer beware!!! The all inclusive is not all inclusive. All inclusive does not cover the gym, room service, or some of the menu options. You also can’t eat at all the restaurants. They limit your restaurant reservations. The staff was awesome and the property was great.

The staff were ok. Not many of them though.
The room was a great disappointment. It was very basic and old and smelt mildewy. A far cry from what their ads show.
We had just stayed at the Occidental and that hotel was much better. Not likely to stay at “paradise” again.

Very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities are excellent here, a great family vacation choice.
