This hotel is centrally located to Times Square and is easy to get to. Its a nice place, and next door to the Museum of Broadway which is a place not to be missed.

The property has potential but you can tell the work was shabbily completed. Where the paint was coming off around the door of the bathroom, the bathroom door was difficult to slide shut. The toilet was broken & they came to fix it only for it to break again. Only one elevator was working so the wait times were long. No I would not stay here again. But it was walking distance for everything we wanted to do.

Right down the road from Broadway which was our reason for coming to NYC. For a hotel in the middle of the city, it was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. The room was small, but big enough for 2 people to stay comfortably. Room was fine overall, but floor was dirty and stained to the point I wasn't comfortable being barefoot. Some general housekeeping issues but nothing that warranted a complaint to be honest. Biggest issue was the elevators, they only had 1 working, and it barely worked. We had to slam the elevator doors closed multiple times before it would move. You obviously can take the stairs, but that sucks when you have a lot of luggage and are on a higher floor lol.

My son and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip. I honestly wasn’t sure how this place would be but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage early in the morning while exploring things and came back to a quick check-in. Location is perfect, far enough away that it didn’t feel like you were right in Times Square but close enough to everything. The room was definitely cozy and had more of a large bedroom feel than a hotel room. The shower was massive and had great water pressure. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is not bringing a large suitcase, depending on the room you book. It worked for the two of us, but I could see having large luggage or multiple bags being an issue space wise.

Check in time is 3pm. I got there before 3pm and the room was not ready and told me to wait for 10min. Then after 10min again they told me to wait for another 10 min. They repeated this couple times and the room was ready around 3:40pm. I recommend you to use other hotel if you have an urgent upcoming meeting. Other than that, it was ok based on how much it costs.

While the hotel could definitely use some remodeling and updates, the overall experience was very positive, thanks especially to the excellent front desk service.
The location is also a major plus just steps away from Times Square and close to several subway stations, making it easy to get around the city. Harelene really made us feel at home.

From the very beginning we loved the experience. The staff that helped us to check in was so wonderful and kind. The room was cute and had everything we needed. It is right there in time square, so everything is close by, but you wouldn't know it with the sound proofing, it was so quite in the room. Check out was great and they even held our bags while we walked around some more. When we do come back to NY, we will definitely have this as our first choice.

Room 701 was better, but still not perfect. The biggest issue was the bathroom—it didn’t have a shower curtain or a door, so every time we took a shower, water spilled all over the floor. It made it very risky to walk in the bathroom afterward, and I was genuinely afraid of slipping and falling.
On the second day, I called the front desk again to request towels and asked if the housekeeper could help clean up the water in the bathroom. While she brought the towels, she said she would return in five minutes to clean—but unfortunately, she never came back. The housekeeping service was disappointing overall.
Also, the room didn’t look exactly like the photos online, which added to our dissatisfaction. While we appreciated the front desk team and their effort, the housekeeping standards and room setup need serious improvement.
