Check in was terrible as no phone signal and rung the two numbers but no answer got in after 15 minutes, room was good nice bathroom large bed but as made up of two single beds they were at different highs
The breakfast was really good and very tasty but an extra sausage and egg would have been nice the lady that served was very friendly and helpful I would recommend

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. I was kept updated with information regading all aspects including check-in protocol, wifi details and breakfast timetables.
Our only interaction with staff personally, was at breakfast, which was delicious.
We had a great conversation with one of the staff who gave us some fantastic advice and information in preparation for our visit to Edinburgh later that day.

Thank you to all at the Home Arms, we'll hopefully visit again if in the area.

Good view and comfy bed & that's about all.
Unmanned reception, took 35 mins to sort out getting entry code. Details only sent out on day of arrival by email - not much use as we'd left home 2 days before.
Broken shower doors. Awful sewage smell coming from sink hung around all day and night. No appreciable water flow through shower - probably never descaled in years. Ok breakfasts but served an under-cooked sausage one day. Staff friendly but v busy and only around at breakfast time.

Eyemouth wasn't our favorite place during our week long travel to the UK. That being said, there is a free parking lot and a Co-Op directly across the street from the property.

We arrived late so we didn't encounter anyone and we were so tired the next morning from our sightseeing we didn't partake in breakfast.

The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was large enough for our needs.

Entrance to property was difficult as I walk with a stick. I was disappointed as I had asked for an assistance room from your web site this was clearly not. The checking instructions were clear but the buttons were fiddley. We did not meet the owners to our knowledge. The breakfast was good

Good Stay - Issues Quickly Resolved

Good location for a stay in Eyemouth. On our first night there was an issue with the heating in our room. When we raised this with Jade it was very quickly resolved with us being moved to a new room. Jade was also very helpful when the circumstances of our stay altered.

Clean, quiet, right next to the sea in a nice little town. A few dining options available, active fishing boats, good walking, a large Co-op store, free parking directly opposite the hotel, good breakfast. A family run business, friendly and efficient. Thanks Jade!
A good breakfast, comfortable bed. Secure property, lots of stairs though, so not so good if you've got mobility issues. Eyemouth seems to be an interesting spot for a holiday maybe?

Generaly OK but 2 things to improve. The bathroom has no towel rail or hook on which to hang your towel. Also both bedside lights had broken bulbs in them and as the guesthouse is unmanned except for breakfast, there is no-one to go to with any such problems

The value and the ease of the place to find and get settled in was really good. It's a shame some other places need a good lick of paint. But please don't let this put off staying here. It deserves 5 stars all the way and the breakfast included is extremely good. Jade was very helpful in the choice at hand. Would I stay again? DEFINATELY.

The Home Arms is right near the seafront with a large carpark right in front of the hotel.
Amazing sea view from our large windows of Eyemouth bay and luckily we got fab weather for this time of year.
Excellent location with nearby pubs and restaurants well within walking distance and St. Abbs only a short drive away where we went on the 'Riptide' Rib thrill boat ride!
We will be back and hopefully get Room 4 again! Jade who manages the property keeps it in excellent order throughout And brekkie was lovely!

The B&B was really nice, the room we stayed in was perfect. Parking nearby was a bonus. Staff were very nice and the cooked breakfast in the morning was tasty but we could have done with a leaflet or a conversation about how breakfast worked before we ate.

Great location overlooking Eyemouth Bay. Our double room was a good size and very comfortable. everything worked the way it should. If only they could shut those blooming seagulls up - at it from 4am, but that’s all part of the atmosphere when staying so close to the sea!

In a quiet area , could do with more shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom , but other than that it was good , easy parking and access , few places to eat near by a vegetarian cafe selling lovely food , and a ice cream parlor which is amazing , fish and chip restaurants and the ship pub all good , had a lovely 2 night stay , will certainly be back

Lovely beach opposite and charming understated town, so nice seeing the grey seals and eider ducks in the harbour. Close to the stunning St Abbs village and nature reserve with beautiful cliff top walks. No issues with the property, easy to book, clean, comfortable, nice room and a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Will stay here again next time in area. Highly recommend it.

Our stay started with the host giving us a warm greeting. The room was bright and very clean. Nice large windows that accent the sea view. Dinning close by, with a grocery store just steps from the front door. And then there was to cooked to order breakfast in the morning. We could not have been happier. We intend to stay again only next time for multiple days.
