I booked this hotel thinking it is a 4 stars hotel, but it was not. The room was dusty, AC did not work, safe was broken, bathroom had mold in the shower and wash table. In addition, we were not informed of the construction that is being done outside the hotel. Therefore, we had to drag our bags, and no one helped us to take the bags upstairs. Guests were too noisy and no one asked me to respect others' requirement to have a peaceful breakfast. I decided to checkout two nights after (original booked for 4 nights) and sadly I forgot my Airpods Pro in the room. I called the hotel and I informed them that I forgot the airpods in the room and they should call me if they find it or not. That did not happen, The lady responded \"ok ok\" and hung up right away.

This was the worst experience I had in istanbul and never again. Shame to call yourself 4 stars hotel.

Will never do it again

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever seen in my life. We stayed there for one week me and my friends. My friend left her purse in the closet and went down to the breakfast for 20 minutes. They stole 4000 from her purse and left the Turkish money and the credit card and the passport which were there. We complained to the front desk and ask for the manager to speak to. For three days asking for the manager and never showed up. Bad attitudes and no respect to people at all.

The hotel staff are so rude. The food was dirty abs had insects and flies. Customer services is Zero, the cleaning staff stole 4000$ from my purse while I went down to take my breakfast. I asked for the manager for three days no manager came to file a complaint. English skills is zero. No way to communicate with anyone. Definitely NO

It wasn’t a very pleasant stay especially after we moved in from a 5 stars hotel with all facilities. We won’t to be closer to downtown with easier access to local transportations and memorials. Rubbish hotel. A/C not working in mostly many rooms. I booked double bed but they give us twin room. Breakfast rubbish. Room & hotel not clean at all. Real hotel opposite to what you can see in hotel nice pictures. I don't know who likes and give high rating to this hotel.
Only good location.
Otherwise I don't recommend to anyone for this hotel.

Hotel close to the sightseeing locations

Great hotel for a great price! The staff was kind. Hotel is close to the main historical places. Free breakfast! Shuttle from airport to hotel was ~$30 and we had a ton of luggage. Rooms are a bit small, but not an issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

The main reason I got this place is that it's right off a main metro line that takes you to the airport (red line), intersecting with another line that takes you to the main attraction areas of old Istanbul like Sultan Ahmet, Eminonu, and Bayezit (blue line), and it was not that far from Yenikapi station (grey line) where it'll take you to the Asian side (Uskudar). The blue line is a little slow and has many stops, so I may have chosen a hotel closer to the main attractions, but it was still a very good location. the down side (which I didn't really think of) of being in this location is that it's noisy. I'm a light sleeper, but it was still not bad. The breakfast is excellent, as is the case for many Turkish hotels (compared to typical breakfast of 3 star American hotels like Hampton Inn, Courtyard Plaza, and the like). You have a few olive varieties, jam varieties, cheese varieties, cold cuts (meats), cold cooked veggies, proteins (2-3 varieties of eggs, sujuk, etc), cereals, and more. The room I booked was double bed single occupancy, but I found it to be on the small side, probably the smallest in the hotel (based on the fire escape map posted in my room). I didn't use any amenities (gym, pool, cafe, etc) so I don't have any comments about them. Given the price, it was a good deal for me, I'm pleased with the experience.

My first time in Istanbul

Staying at this hotel was among one of few stops in my latest trip. Despite what I'd heard from people who had previously traveled to Istanbul, It was a pleasant stay. I was told the star ratings were not accurate and that was what I had my mind set prior to my stay. When arriving at the hotel my friend and I were greeted in a very friendly, quick and professional manner. Rooms where clean, good internet speed, good breakfast, very quiet and frankly exceeded my expectation. I definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying at this hotel in the near future. This is a great hotel for the ones who are looking for affordable yet descent place to stay. Keep up the good work.

A bit disappointing!

No wifi in room (7th floor).
Lots of noisy building work going on in next room-wouldve appreciated notice about this. As stated on previous reviews, all costs in euros or dollars....i wanted Turkish Lira or British pounds...this seemed like a hassle for staff!! Rooms are clean & bathrooms are lovely. Breakfast is very good. Location is really close to metro but it is a bit scary at night...not recommended for solo female

Good services, great location

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights.. The hospitality was great.. They upgraded us from double room to triple room! They even allowed us to check in as early as 9.30 am. Overall we satisfied with their service. We will definitely check in this hotel again if we come back to Istanbul. Location was also great, near to tram station. Easy access from the airport as well.

Convenient location at Ordu Cad near Aksaray metro and tram junction. The breakfast is above average in Istanbul. The hotel and room are clean, and the standard is fairly high. The room was small for my liking, but I slept well. First floor rooms are quite close to the traffic in Ordu Cad, but it was not overwhelming. If, on the next occasion, the offer is similar to the one I got this time I will choose Sorrosio next time as well.

An ok hotel, bad location!

The hotel was fine and the staff was friendly. The queenside bed does not fit the room well and it felt small and cramped. The shower is annoying because the water easily sprays all over the floor. The spa downstairs was fine but sketchy and kind of overpriced for hammam +massage. Lots of old Turkish men getting \"massaged\" by women. The location is near the tram but not near any nice restaurants or cafés. Bad neighborhood for going out at night. 15 minute walk to grand bazaar but it's up a big hill and 20 minutes to sultanahmet. Neighborhood is close to \"red light district\". Stay somewhere else.

The hotel room is new and clean. Very comfortable for a single traveller. The hotel is just right next to Aksaray Tramway station which is so convenience to travel around Istanbul. The restaurants nearby is much cheaper than in town.

Ich war 6 tage im Hotel, die Zimmer sind unhygienisch und vorallem ist die Umgebung sehr unsicher. Bitte guckt euch erst um wo ihr welches Hotel bucht, lieber bezahle ich 50-100€ mehr und habe eine sichere umgebung mit vielen Transportmitteln. Erstes unf letztes mal. Habe Expedia kontaktiert, damit ich mitten im urlaub mein Hotel wechseln kann, der Manager des Hotels hat sich nicht zurückgemeldet. Fazit: es dreht sich alles nurrrr um Geld

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Stadtteil Fathi, sehr gute Anbindung zu Tram und Metro und hat alles, was ein 4*-Hotel haben sollte.
Unser Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber, allerdings auch sehr hellhörig, lag wohl am Durchgang zum Nachbarzimmer.
Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, alles gut.
Das Hotel und das angegliederte Restaurant leben von den Mitarbeitern, die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von der Rezeption über Restaurant, Zimmerservice Bois hin zum Gärtner sind top.

ottimo personale molto accogliente, molto amichevole e gradevole la loro presenza- noi siamo stati lì dal 28 al 2 ottobre e siamo stati benissimo. la colazione è buonissima e ci sono molte cose da scegliere. albergo pulito e dignitoso. Il centro città si raggiunge agevolmente a piedi, in pochi minuti ti ritrovi vicino ai monumenti più importanti

The room was very small, I ordered a Standard Double bed, but the bed was a large single and I didn't have space for my luggage. The hotel is close to a mosque and the morning prayer call will guarantee wake you up early in the morning. I ordered non smoking, but I got smoking room. I did not complain because I was staying only one night. The breakfast is simple. the juice is water with taste. 3 stars maximum. The shower floor had black spots should have been cleaned better.

Min vistelse på hotellen var trevlig och bra. Maten på restaurangen var ingen god och de serverade dåliga frukt. När de lagade korv och stekt potatis till frukost och det var kvar då lagades de om med tomater och andra grönsaker så blev det en gryta .
Annars servicen var bra, personalen var bra och hjälpsam
