There were only a few plugs in the room or bathroom, and most were either in use or our plug fell out of it. There was no place to plug in a computer. No wifi that we knew about. The room was clean. They do have an airport shuttle that runs 24/7, but we didn't use it.

I was not able to stay there when I arrived at the place their security said that there was no one to check us in they would be back in 2 hours. As I was going to contact you the front desk lady arrived from outside just getting to work. She said they had no rooms available then changed the story to that I would have to pay $100 extra. So I left the hotel. Bad service. Didn’t want to work with or even try to help out.

Checked in and to a room that was occupied. Thankfully nobody was in it at the time. Long walk back to get another room and walked the long way back to a different room. Then the tv didn’t work so I had to call the front desk for help. This morning the hair dryer didn’t work so I called the front desk and was told she would try to find one. Never did so I had to go to the airport with wet hair. Pictures of the hotel are a lot better online than they really are. The place needs some work. Won’t stay there again.

The hotel is a historic hotel in Fresno California filled with stories from its past having hosted all the musicians and entertainers from its iconic 1980’s - 1990’s era heydays. A bit old school its bones are still there and it takes you back just being there to its former splendor. Still, it boasts all the timeless scenery loved by the fancy folks of the old Skool generation. It doesn’t lack in amenities as the rooms are equipped with what most modern hotels offer today such as WiFi, refrigerators, desks, recliners, and superb crisp white sheets and bedding. There is also a coffee in every room, toiletries stocked and anything you may have left behind at the front desk. The staff are pleasant and very accommodating as they allowed us to change rooms upon request to do so to better suit our needs. The hotel also has a restaurant/bar/lounge and a cafe ready to fill your stomach with homestyle food for breakfast and lunch. There are marketplace items at front desk if you crave a midnight snack and if they don’t have what you are craving the convenience store is on the corner on the same street. Literally, across from the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport, so you can take a flight wherever you need to go and a shuttle the hotel provides to get you there as a complimentary service. The only don side I would consumer at this time of year is that the pool and hot tub is closed and I am not sure if it’s because it is winter or if it’s closed permanently, but it was maintained.

The rooms are a bit outdated. The entire premises seem dirty and dark, there is carpet with plenty of stains all around the hotel. The room that I received was a bit smelly from smoke, the carpet was dirty but from old age. The room layout is from the 2000s, so it was outdated. The bed was comfortable and I only stayed from 6pm to 5am.

The front desk said that it would happen and they would get it done.. but I heard him asking the housekeeping to go get it done over the walkie-talkie and she refused. This hotel is old and could use some updating; however, the rooms are larger than those in most hotels of this price range, and they are kept clean. The hotel staff is very friendly. I had an early flight and needed shuttle service at 4 AM, and both the staff and the driver were extremely helpful. This is my second stay at this hotel due to my flight schedule. Overall, I highly recommend it if you need a place to stay because of flight-related needs.

My experience at the hotel was very bad. The person at the front desk was not friendly; her attitude was unpleasant, and I felt discriminated against when I asked for a hair dryer, which the room was supposed to have but did not.
She told me that the staff would not arrive until 9:00 a.m., but I never received any solution. Additionally, the phone in the room, which I was supposed to use to communicate, did not work because it had no buttons. Her response was that guests steal them and that it was not her problem.

we love to stay here when travelling out of FAT. This room however was lacking in electrical outlet availability. The bedside lamps did not have an extra outlet at their base. The only outlet for the left side of bed was under the bed about the middle of the baseboard, impossible to reach unless you wanted to move the bed. The outlet on the right side of bed was about 6 feet away from edge of bed. Very inconvenient if you want to use laptops or electronics while relaxing and watching tv. Otherwise, staff is excellent and the restaurant/bar is always good.

The manager and her messed up attitude, everything else perfect. So of the best staff and just a messed up manager. Hot and cold attitude. I did no wrong to this lady and she’s just a cold hearted person. Just because someone other than myself wanted to change rooms because of the water was not getting hot she had a full blown vendetta. I mean took his service animals away then all rights away. Spent thousands of dollars there for her to be acting like that. Blessing!!

We accidentally booked this Piccadilly meaning to book the one in town and after reading some of the reviews I was worried! It ended up being totally fine. It’s an older property and a bi outdated but clean overall. There are definitely a few maintenance issues I could see - broken card reader on the door to the executive area for example. But if you can get it for a decent price, it’s totally fine for a one night stay!
