I have to say this was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I've had in all my years. The staff was beyond courteous, accommodating, friendly and helpful. Every single one of them made our stay so very enjoyable. The front desk folks were all so very exceptionally super kind. The breakfast staff (lady) was always smiling, always happy and always eager to please. She kept the breakfast/coffee area spotless and so very well appointed! She was a sunshine in the place!! The young lady that made up our room daily was a perfectionist!! Military style bed made up every day. Every item in it's place. Now, this hotel isn't what you'll find in the big name hotels. The rooms are not fancy, they are a bit small, no flashy modernistic decor but they are very comfortable and always clean. If and/or when we come back to Paris, we definately will stay here again. The location is absolutely perfect to get you around to all the major sites as well as being in a bit of a quieter area and not so touristy! Lots of great restaurants around and street markets easily within walking distance. You'll love the folks running the place and you'll love just about everything about it. If you want a view get a room on one of the upper floors.

The staff is friendly, speaks English, and is helpful. Rosalie, the cat, is an excellent addition. She greets guests and accepts some gentle love. The room is small, but comfortable. At night it can get a little warm, but the window opens. The mattress is firm, but not lumpy. The hotel is in a quiet street surrounded by many good restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and the metro. You can walk anywhere within a few minutes and reach the entire town via metro or bus. The bathroom includes a bathtub which is superb after a long day of sightseeing. The towels are thick and clean. The hotel provides soap and body lotion as well as a blow dryer. You should bring some shampoo. We never ran out of hot water which is a plus.

Room 805 has a separate sort-of living room leading to a lovely balcony with table (excellent). The sort of living room is a bit naff - it's small, with an uncomfortable bench sofa thing. Think it's technically a fold out other bed or something.
Problem is that the balcony has a door to the living room that doesn't lock. Which was both a security risk, and a bit cold. We told the staff, but they didn't repair it while we were there.
Additionally the room wasn't cleaned or serviced on our first full day out - we'd asked to not have it done while we were still getting ready to head out (about 9.30am i think) and then said as we left 'the room can be serviced now if that's okay' - but it wasn't. Not a really big deal in the scheme of things.
Room 805 has a separate sort-of living room leading to a lovely balcony with table (excellent). The sort of living room is a bit naff - it's small, with an uncomfortable bench sofa thing. Think it's technically a fold out other bed or something.

A Charming Hotel
The garden areas were charming: a courtyard at the hotel's front door, an inner courtyard full of peaceful greenery and seating, and a third, \"secret\" garden (accessible only to hotel guests) on the third floor. Also charming was Rosalie, the hotel's cat, who \"owns\" the place. She was especially sure to make an appearance at breakfast time. (Breakfast was excellent, by the way.) Adding to the charm was the decor, which made use of the works of Parisian art students. Add to this the clean rooms and cheerful staff.

The property is so wonderful that it actually go beyond my expectations especially when I realize there is a cloths drying machine right inside bathroom. All facilities are comfortable and staff are very nice. It’s quite surprising that this hotel maintains a quite environment in a very busy transport hub!

Well located by Place d’Italie metro station, which is on direct line to gare de l’Est and gare du nord. Superior room was good size but bathroom very small. Slept well as rooms soundproofed. Breakfast delicious with good range of items. Weather not too good so did not make use of the garden or free yoga session. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Stayed 1 night in Paris to take a train south of France. The outdoor space is very special with rooftop garden and garden outside breakfast room. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff couldn’t be nicer…bed very comfortable. My only objection was it could be cleaner, and room is very tight for two people. All in all, I would go back again. Fun neighborhood.

It’s my first time staying in this area of Paris instead of more central. The transport links - buses and metros were great so I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Im hoping to be back this autumn. I comparison to other hotels I have stayed in over the last 2 years (8 trips to Paris) it was really good value for money and had a really relaxed feeling to it as well as being ecological minded

Hôtel Rosalie is situated at a very busy (meaning also perfectly connected) spot in the city. But it's also inside an inner yard and has a gorgeous garden, and the feeling is as if you are in a quiet and very private place. And although the building itself does not strike as an architectural marvel, every detail inside is designed carefully, which makes the inner space both beautiful and functional. All that, topped with a super-friendly and helpful staff. I'm glad to have found a hotel in Paris that I would gladly come back to.

The hotel is lovely and is on a side street off of Place d'Italie and nestled at the back of a courtyard. I had the single room and it had great amenities, like nice bed sheets, local coffee, local herbal tea, water kettle, phone, wifi, usb power ports, tv, etc. I loved the environment friendliness and the modern, hipster-esque styling and vibe. The cleaning while great could be improved as I found hairs on the vanity. Other than that and some wear and tear on the furniture, I would have definitely stayed at this location for much longer given the opportunity. No hesitation to return to this place whatsoever.

I came for a long weekend. This was my 2nd solo trip to Paris. The location was great. Walking distance from public transit. I got everywhere I wanted in less than 30 minutes. The staff was patient and polite. Suggested cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood I could try. The room was small but large enough for just myself. I had a beautiful clear view of the Eiffel Tour which was nice!

This hotel is really close to the metro station at place d'italie about a 5 minute walk which has great links into many area of Paris as is on metro lines 5, 6 and 7. The area has lots of lovely restaurants which the receptionist suggested to us all within walking distance. The hotel was spotless and quiet and everyone was incredibly friendly. Just be conscious France has different smoking rules to the UK and people can smoke indoors in some. This may impact your dining experience. Great bakeries near the hotel too.

Wonderful experience staying at Rosaline. The location is quiet area of Paris and things to do are 30 minutes by train or taxi basically. Although Paris is big so if you want to walk to some sites this is not the hote rather it is a quiet nice residential neighborhood to unwind after sight seeing in busy Paris! We were very close to train station also which was great for our day trips like to Lyon. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is breakfast available upon payment. We didn’t try their food. The rooms are big by Paris standards and has amazing rooftop and our room with Eiffel view was just breathtaking for our one week stay! It is well worth paying more if you need to for that. The rooftop and garden area are beautiful and splendid and the resident cat is lovely we love her. The staff gives us free refill of water when needed daily. Hotel Rosalie was nice but bathroom was small, tub was so tall it was hard to get in and out of to shower without the fear of falling. Big towels were provided but no wash clothes.

Hotel Rosalie is a lovely oasis in a nice neighbourhood, with everything you need on your doorstep. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with a large, comfortable bed. Me and my partner stayed here in March, we drove from London to Paris. All the staff were super attentive, welcoming, friendly and helpful. They upgraded us when we arrived and helped us find secure parking. The room was on the smaller side but it was cosy and had everything we needed. The staff helped with our travel routes and booking taxis etc. Only negative was there were no English tea bags, just tea that you strain, which to us didn’t taste very nice. Overall we loved the hotel and the location was convenient for us, we would definitely come back again!

I LOVE this hotel. To begin with, it’s in the 13me, my favourite bit of Paris, not touristy but with everything a tourist wants and with great travel links by bus or métro to anywhere in the city. The hotel is like a little, almost hidden gem, with lovely gardens and a real commitment to sustainability. Rooms are stylish, super comfortable. Breakfast is expensive, but there are plenty of places to buy food nearby and the hotel provides fresh ground coffee and a cafetière in the bedroom. There’s a curious kind of designer tea too, which I leave untouched. The staff are fabulous, could not be more friendly and helpful.

We liked the quiet location and nevertheless convenience of being close to transporation (Metor, Place d'Italie). The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, we forgot our adapter in the hotel and it lead to endless attempts at retrieving it. The highlight was the breakfast which is decently priced and offers an incredible selection of coffees and teas, pastries, cheeses, granola, preserves. The other highlight is the hotel's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

Staff were all lovely, friendly, and beyond helpful (we had a pickpocketing incident while we were out, reception were compassionate and tried to help where they could with calls and googling solutions). The hotel is a 3 min walk to the Metro where there are 3 separate train routes. There are restautall around serving many different ethnic foods.
