Overall the property was clean in a good position with the supermarket five minutes away together with a bus stop into the cathedral area five minutes away. Communicating with the on-site property managers was initially difficult but we finally got through as it’s all communicated on WhatsApp. Certain appliances in the accommodation did not work which I passed on to the property manager and they said they would look into it only after I left. So there we go hence no.10/10 score

After reading reviews that mentioned not being able to open shutters as onto street level & wanting outside space / terrace following completing the Camino, I contacted host beforehand to ask to not have one of these — they were unable to guarantee. On arrival, disappointingly we had been assigned the exact apartment we had dreaded. Contacted host immediately and was informed no others were available. This apartment sits on the corner & on ground level (kitchen / living room space), there is no outside seating area and is directly onto the street. The shutters downstairs were never able to be opened both for privacy & security. Needless to say, definitely a negative & impacted the stay.
Despite this, it is a lovely apartment - bedroom & bathroom are upstairs (on level you arrive via lift / underground parking) and kitchen, dining table & living room space at ground level. The kitchen is poorly equipped for cooking. The coffee machine was brill however mugs provided don’t fit under it so be aware to ‘tilt & hold’!
2nd day, the host contacted to offer an alternative apt with small terrace (additional charge & smaller apt)- by time details were available, we were out and so didn’t work out.
Overall if you are not bothered about outside space & cooking, this apartment would be fine.
Highly recommend hosts to be specific in the listings what apartments are on what level, what have outside space and the photos need to accurately reflect this.

Entrar fue complicado. El lockbox estaba trancado y no podia accesar la llave. El layout del apt, aunque grande y espacioso, el tener la habitación en un nivel y el baño en otro resultó un tanto incómodo. El apt si esta completamente equipado

Huge Duplex Apartment!

Loved this duplex. It's clean and has everything needed for your stay. We either walked into town (usually via Bo Cafe for a coffee n pastry) which would take 20/30mnis to get to the Old Town area or got cabs with the Cabify app which cost 5-6 euros to the same place).
Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was everything we were looking for - spacious, with a west facing terrace, bright and so clean! It’s about a 25 minute walk into the centre, though there is a bus option. We like staying on the outskirts of town as you get to see more ‘real life’. I’ve given 4 rather than five stars for the area just because it would have been nice to have more dining choices - that said, we had plenty of facilities to cook our own meals and there were 2 places to eat which were nice. Thanks for a great stay.

From arriving, it was noticeable that I had been put in the wrong room, I booked a superior duplex, but they put me in a signature duplex. This was evident from the pictures on Expedia. I contacted the apartment host, and they refused to move me, saying they had no other rooms. The apartment itself was disgusting. There were pubic hair in the shower and bathroom, the shower flooded the bathroom, there were soiled undewear which had been left by the previous occupants, there was dust everywhere, the glass was full of smears, the kitchen had food remants in the sink, the settee was broken and was full off food and feathers between the cushions and to top it all off, there was a massive crack in the wall. I contacted the apartment host again and they just refused to speak to me, saying the apartment had been cleaned and that as I had pre-paid, i wasnt getting any money back nor where they going to listen to Expedia.

Service and communication were excellent, but the property shows wear and tear. A dirty carpet at the entrance and some stained walls. Also having the bathroom on one floor and the bed on another is inconvenient specially when you need it at night.

Absolutely wonderful

I stayed here at the end of my Camiño and I absolutely loved this property! It is stunning! And close to everything! I even walked to the Cathedral from here. There is a grocery store around the corner and several restaurants within walking distance. The property manager is so responsive and got back to me within a few minutes each time! I will definitely book again!

Great modern apartment.
Bed is two singles put together, and if you go to the middle it creaks.
There’s too much light in the apartment when lights are switched off, from sensors and sockets. I like a room completely dark so struggled to sleep on my first night because of the light coming from the sockets and ceiling.

This is a stunning apartment within an easy 20 min walk to the centre of Santiago de Compostella. It has secure underground parking too. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Lovely to have a balcony as well. Anastasia was so helpful and very quick to respond to messages for which we are grateful.
Good supermarket ring the corner and Mario’s cafe was good for breakfast, cakes, bread etc.
