*La habitación del hotel fue bastante incómoda, especialmente por el colchón y las almohadas, que de lejos estaban de ofrecer descanso. También el balcón estaba muy sucio, no se tomaron el tiempo de limpiarlo antes de que llegáramos .

Debido a eso la experiencia no fue satisfactoria.

Sería importante considerar mejorar y renovar las habitaciones,los precios no son acorde a los elementos del mobiliario.

Decidimos perder una noche de estancia ya que no quisimos repetir otra noche en vela*

Has room fir improvement as 4 star hotel

It is a recently renovated hotel, with average swimming pool. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Rooms requires more work to make them soundproofed. In the current paper wall state there is no privacy and it disturbes uour sleep if nect room people decide to haceva late night!
Nothing is left in the room to welcome guests! It is standard practice to keave at least a bottle of water for the guests!
Rooms didn't have functional safe! The box was there but the doorlock on the safe was not installed!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and there's a huge difference between some rooms and others (under the same room category). Mine was dated and certainly not worth the price I paid! Will have to consider a different hotel next time, sadly.

Great price and very walkable to the historic area of town, if you get a city view, you can see the cathedral from the room from the top floors, loved it and would stay there again as our first choice, be prepared to walk around 10 semi hard minutes from the train station to the hotel, it’s very doable if your used to walking, otherwise, get a taxi which will probably get you there in less than 5 mins.

Terrible noise insulation

I really like this hotel, that's why I booked it again; tgis time they have practice students at reception, which was fine, but an explanation/introduction would have made everything more friendly - let alone professional.
My room was ok until I heard the people next door's bathroom noises as if they were inside my own bedroom.
This is not acceptable, especially as I kindly requested a quiet room... doubt I'll be back, sadly.

The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and clean. It's in a great location. It's easy to walk to the center of Santiago, and it's super close to the train station. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The breakfast was outstanding. They have so many delicious options. I highly recommend it if you want to have a perfect Spanish experience. They provide a nice espresso machine, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, pastries, bread, and toppings galore.

My 75-year-old mom loved the delicious options!

The check in process was easy and the front desk was able to answer any questions I had. Luis at the bar had suggestions for dining in the area and educated us on Galician language qualities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would recommend a suite if you are staying more than a couple of days.

Overall an Excellent Hotel

Our stay at the Exe Peregrino was excellent. We arrived late at night and were given a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. Check in staff were helpful as were any other staff that we came across during our stay. Hotel was spotless throughout, beds were comfortable and the pool area was really nice for a city hotel. Breakfast was a great choice and did not disappoint. We did eat one night for dinner at the buffet in the restaurant bit would not recommend the choice was poor, the food was cold and the quality was a 2/10 at most-this would be the only complaint of the hotel but I feel it is worth mentioning. On the day of leaving we were able to keep our room on until 2pm at no extra cost which was very helpful. Location wise it was perfect and was only a short walk to the centre of town and the old town. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would use agin ourselves.

A fab hotel with the largest, comfiest beds ever. Very clean, great choice at breakfast and service was excellent whenever needed. A special mention to Miguel behind the bar whise service was friendly and second to none. Would definitely come back! Our only disappointment was that the pool was not yet open for the season and we hadn't known this. Shame, we'd have loved to lounge by the nice-looking pool.

The hotel was not as expected. We were promised a refund at the early checkout, but that was a lie.

The food was bad. The room was cheap. We were given a room with twin beds for a couples getaway. The elevator wasn’t operating correctly. It was noisy. Nothing was as promised.

We checked out after one night. The hotel promised a refund, then robbed us for the additional nights.

There are many nice places to stay in San Sebastián. I recommend anywhere else. Fortunately we changed hotels and still had a fabulous weekend.

We weren’t overly impressed with the staff, we were left stranded in a busy area with no taxis in surrounding area at the time. We called the hotel for over 40mins with no one answering the phone. When I went to complain at reception they didn’t seem bothered and just simply said oh well sorry 👎

Good location (within 1km to Old Town)

Stayed there for two nights to visit beautiful old town Santiago de Compostela. We had a room with pool view. Small room (not much room with luggage) with good fridge. Two-twin beds pushed together and very comfortable mattresses. Adequate shower/bath with plenty of pressure and hot water. Parking was available at the hotel (we were lucky because there are not many spaces). Recommend that you reserve a parking space in advance if you plan to drive. Very nice pool but the water is extremely cold (which is very unfortunate). Well located as it is about 1km-walk from old-town. We took the option with the breakfast but were disappointed. Only a continental breakfast with not much choices was served. Although we understand the need to take safety precautions due to COVID-19, many other hotels in Spain retained their buffet options open but with staff serving the food instead once selected by customers (all under strict hygene precautions). As with other hotels where we stayed in Spain, the TV had a function that allowed to change the language to original language on programming not originally in the Spanish language. Unfortunately, we were not able to change the language on the TV because it was blocked and the staff at the reception did not want to assist either, which was disappointing. Overall, still recommended.

The women behind the front desk was very unwelcoming. She gave us a smoking room with a very small bed even though we specifically booked a noon smoking room.she barely spoke English and was kind of nesty. She claimed it was the last room . Later on at night after she left we came downstairs and found a much friendlier women behind the front desk . She immediately transferred us to a much nicer room with a queen size bed . I would suggest that the hotel get rid of the older meaty blond behind the front desk .

This is a large modern hotel but it is a good twenty minutes walk from the historic centre. Although well kept some of the fittings are a little tired. The staff were attentive helpful. There was a varied buffet breakfast which was cheaper if you booked the day before.

All the staff especially Pablo were extremely helpful. The only night we ate at the hotel was the night of the squash dinner which was excellent . The room and bathroom were a good size, although I would have put some hooks up to hang the bath robes. The hotel does not look very appealing from the outsize but internally was well laid out and it had all the facilities required

This is nice yet a little dated hotel. Absolutely clean and great service, nice beds and comfortable rooms. Their breakfast buffet is also quite nice. Certainly the hotel needs some renovation but the room rates probably reflect that. The location is around 800m from the old city centre / 1km to the cathedral. Absolutely walkable.

Quiet place to rest not far away from the old town

Great location, about 5-10 minute walk to the old, passing through a nice park on the way. Easy to get in and out by car, without the hassle of heavy traffic and narrow streets. Also a nice and quiet place to rest, away from the noisy tourists in the old town. Very close to the university campus, which has a nice park around its \"Colegio Mayor\".

We paid extra for a hotel with a pool, it was out of action, we had to wait two days to get the full complement of toiletries , dressing gowns complementary water etc, In three weeks in Spain this was the only place that we didn't get fresh orange juice for breakfast, go to a cafe 50 metres away half the price and much fresher breakfast, staff unable/unwilling to assist, very noisy first night, no chairs on balcony to sit on, overall very disappointing when much better value hotels closer to centre of town.

The hotel belongs to the NH network but we were very disappointed for a number of reasons.
1. The service we received at check-in was not disgraceful and insulting. We are a couple of men and we feel a homophobia on the part of the staff. We have been refused a room with one bed although we have ordered an invitation to DOUBE ROOM. We asked to speak with the manager or manager and were refused. We got a room in a low-rise location near the lift, although we stayed for two nights while the hotel served as a kind of inn for many of the guests for one night, which made us very noisy from the morning hours of leaving.
2. The hotel pool during the entire stay. It was closed. The hotel staff told us that opening the pool requires the employment of a lifeguard and they do not have one.

Lovely hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Room was great- bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room facilities
were good. Breakfast was very reasonably priced with lots of choices. There is an outdoor pool and lots of free sun beds in garden areas. There was also free parking in front of the house which was great for our motorbike. Wifi was free too. The walk to the old town was about15 mins as it was v hot and we were ducking in & out of shade! Area along the road between the hotel and town is a bit run down but near the old town there was a park which we enjoyed strolling through.

Yet another NH hotel that is tired. The bathroom tiles were cracked, the door frames and skirting boards swollen and damaged from water damage, the toilet bowl stained, Lino ripped, bath safety rail loose, walls cracked and gib board stained and damaged. Pain in the butt having to secure pool towels and the safe key with €. Who uses a key for their safe these days? Two single beds - do I look five years old? Bed lamps that my grandmother would pick! No black out curtains. Wifi that working properly about 70% of the time. No bidet towel. Shower water drained slowly so you'd be standing in a filling bath. (Room 505) On and on... Anyway, on the plus side: robes, double glazing, balcony, good sized pool, comfy bed and nice staff (housekeeping did an excellent job of cleaning and tidying!). But no, I wouldn't stay here again. FYI It's a good 15-20 min walk to the old part of town and shops. Nice pastry shops nearby.

The room was new, but wooden floors in a hotel with virtually no sound proofing, you can hear every noise from rooms above, below and adjoining. The TV is restricted in volume far too low its not worth watching. Lifts pretty small especially if you in a queue with 52 Camino's just checked in. Reception staff were good and hotel was a handy walk.
