No AC in room with double windows. Only heat in November. Problem, I had to open a double window in order to sleep in this hot room. Front desk had no other option for me. Construction noise & rain with wind didn’t help. Front desk lady attitude not nice. No hot water in room. I had rented 2 rooms. Never will stay there again.

Definitely the hotel is not a 4 star hotel, the rooms are old, in all the 4 star hotels that I was in there is a water of bottle as a courtesy , no coffee maker no nothing , I went to the reception and all I had was a bad attitude , the only person that was nice in the hotel was the housekeeper that provide me two cups for tea and some tea bags , I didn’t have a nice experience the hotel did not have AC in the room , the front desk told me to open the window which I did and there was noise from the street , terrible experience .

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. The minibar/fridge wasn't working when we arrived. Reported to reception on our way out and was fixed when we got back a few hours later.
The room appeared a little dated. No tea or coffee making facility in room which was a real downside.

Don’t do it…

The room was super hot and the AC did not
work. In fact, the AC pumped out heat! The staff sadly had no solution except that the AC is an old system.

So had to open the windows and experienced the joy of a very busy main road and building site next to the windows.

Little sleep for two nights. And I had pay more for the privilege of a larger double bed too. Staff had the opportunity to put things right and not charge me, but they did.

The room was a bit warm and there was no option to have aur conditioning in the room. The unit was set to only put out heat, although the unit shows clearly air conditioning and cooling option.
Staff gave us a fan to out on and suggested we open windows to help cool the room. Wife dies not sleep with windiws open, so we managed using the fan.
Ironically, tge check in lobby is blasting a/c all day long.

All the staff were professional and courteous.

If you are a light sleeper, however, you may need to reconsider. You can hear doors opening and closing, plumbing when other rooms flush or shower, etc. nice property, very close to El Corte Ingles and an urban park. Neighborhood is quiet mostly.

This hotel is convenient if you bring a car because is 15 minutes away from historic sites and the parking fee is only $10.

The hotel was easy to find. The car park is beneath the property and easily accessible. The hotel is also very close to El Corte Ingles and Hipercore as well as a fuel forecourt. The staff were generally friendly enough although some seemed a bit reluctant to help.

The reason I choose this hotel was because it said to provide airport shuttle service. Which as a common understanding is believed to be free unless it is indicated otherwise. Which was incorrect and misleading information because the hotel doesn’t have an airport shuttle service.

Loved this hotel. So modern, so funky and stylish. This is a hotel you want to stay in. Had a very warm welcome upon arrival, rooms incredible spacious and clean. Very relaxing and interesting people to meet. It's a bit outside of the city centre which is a slight let down but overall, a very nice hotel and will definitely come back.

This property is truly lovely. The hospitality was wonderful and the room was awesome. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved having bunk beds! Also great to have a hang out area. We loved the delicious breakfast in the am in the welcoming restaurant area. All wonderful. Also just a block from corte ingles/híper which was great for shopping and groceries.

Being just out of the town centre albeit by a lovely park it was a bit of a trek to the Cathedral etc and a hilly one.

I was needing a taxi @ 05:00, the lady at desk took the initiative to call the taxi service to ensure that the taxi is coming... and went out of hotel to see if it truly comes.(being winter time, cold) I was deeply impressed by the kind service of this hotel !

The only \"problem\" was the lack of a TV guide in the room. We'd rather dial in a channel than channel hop. Dinner, wine, beer and coffee excellent and reasonably priced. Parking secure and also reasonably priced. Not our first stay and hopefully will not be our last.

2 Night stay to visit Santiago sights

Excellent sized family room, very spacious. Kids loved the bunkbeds and their own space.

Lovely service from the reception desk and also from the bar and restaurant. Breakfast and dinner was very nice and well priced.

Not in the prettiest of areas but we didn't mind as the hotel itself made up for that. A pleasant 20 min walk to the old town area.

Room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The hotel definitely does not have \" soundproof rooms\" as advertised. Located on a loud busy road.
Others guests were partying in the hotel rooms and halls at 1 am. Staff was reluctant to do anything even after calls and complaints from multiple rooms. Front desk lady the next morning was indifferent about the situation and said \" that is the way it it, we can't stop partying\"
Old outdated rooms. Water pressure is poor.
The one good thing, was we enjoyed a great dinner with good service in the hotel restaurant, but it was the good thing about this hotel.

While we were initially disappointed that the hotel was not downtown in the heart of things, turns out that was a blessing in disguise. it is easy to get to the hotel by car, and the parking is very convenient. It is about a \"20 minute\" walk to town on sidewalks through safe, well-lit areas. We thought this was a very good value.

We enjoyed our stay at Tryp. It was a bit of a distance from our primary destination - old town/cathedral. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nice, clean, and family friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel for business but not with kids

The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms are a good size but not as mode as the pictures makes out. Breakfast had a good selection but as a vegetarian a little simple. The food served again looked good but vegetarian option limited. if travelling with kids I would recommend to stay in town but don't expect the same quality for the same price.

As with other Tryp hotels I've stayed at, this was as advertised. Very helpfull staff, nice lobby, comfy rooms, but halls and rooms are a little dated.
