This hotel is well maintained and offers free parking on site, which is a big deal in Lecce. It is a short drive away to parking garage near the historic center. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good.

Súper clean and modern room! Breakfast buffet good with many options. Lots of parking on site. Make sure of directions that front desk staff give you… we were sent at least one and a half mile out of the way walking to enter old town, when it’s only a short 20 min walk. Would stay again here

A comfortable stay but with room for improvement...

We found the 8piuhotel to be great value for money in Lecce - affordable and modern. Although it's about a 25 minute walk to the city centre or other main attractions, we actually enjoyed the stroll back after dinner, especially in the cooler air temperatures at night.

That said, I'd personally rate the hotel closer to a 3 star than a 4 star. While the sleek, contemporary style is appealing, it does come at the expense of any character - it felt almost impersonal.

Our main issue was with the shower. We experienced inconsistent water temperature throughout our entire stay, with the water either scalding hot despite adjusting the dial to cold. It would constantly fluctuate unpredictably between too hot, cold and briefly comfortable. We raised this with reception twice but unfortunately, no action was taken. On the second occasion we were pretty much immediately told that everything looked fine, which was frustrating given it was an ongoing problem and clearly not fine.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I hope this feedback encourages the team to look into this issue. A reliable shower is a basic expectation, especially at a 4 star hotel.

To end on a positive, the bed was exceptionally comfortable - I slept very well each night which was great. The free breakfast inclusion was also good, providing enough variety of food options for all.

Stay was good overall. The reason for the poor review is the extremely rude female agent at check-in. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel.

Also, the temperature control in the room was difficult to use, and would not go below 21 degrees, which was not accurate, as the room was still too warm at that setting.

Was a great place just outside of main town area. We had a car rental so it was great because of the available parking onsite. We would drive in to town and park at a parking garage. About 3-4 minute drive. Many guests just took taxis in to the town.

Breakfast was great. Very convenient and had everything we could have asked for.

Quick, efficient check in. Free wi-fi. Room large, very clean and comfortable. Very modern. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. Bed large and comfortable, very good shower. Could do with a Do not disturb/No housekeeping sign for the door, room cleaned every day of our stay and we didn't really feel we needed it.
Good location - parking and easy access to roads for exploring the area and only a 15 min walk into the centre of town.

The main problem we had was the 20 minute walk to the old town. A pool would be a useful compensation.
The Negroamaro restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced.

Staff were helpful the room we had was very spacious with a sitting room with two tvs even though we spent little time in the room it was nice to have. My husband was impressed with gym but no time to use it as there is so much to see outside Lecce

Everything was great about this hotel! Room was spacious, bed is very comfortable, staff is very nice and very helpful, great breakfast with many choices. Location is perfect if you want to visit different parts of Puglia. It’s right off the highway. It’s about a 15/20 minute walk to the historic Center, and it’s a pleasant walk. You can’t go wrong…I definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall our stay was outstanding! The staff was very friendly, outgoing and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and modern, if a little quirky. The high tech part of the experience is cool, but a little confusing at times. We were given one room key so when I (the male half) when down for breakfast with the key, the room was without lights and my Wife couldn’t use the hairdryer. Not sure if another key would have resolved that issue as we only stayed two nights.

The breakfast buffet is top notch with a solid offering of a wide array of food.

The restaurant dinner was very good as well, but we did find the portions a little small.

It is a bit out of the way, but we like to walk so it suited our needs to a tee. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone looking for a modern place to stay in Lecce!

8Piu Hotel has a great location. Its outside the city centre but very close to it via scooter or car. Its just on an exit of the highway so if you have a rented car is very nice. The room was okay but the air conditioner wasnt good enough for us, when we complained, twice along our stay they told us to wait ten more minutes, and seemed on a hurry to end the call. Breakfast tables were not cleaned after people used it, we had to clean the table we needed, ask for forks and knifes, and for mugs for the coffees.

Se l'albergo avesse avuto una piscina e/o spa sarebbe stato a 5 stelle! Materasso con memory foam comodissimo. La possibilità di scegliersi il cuscino appropriato ci è sembrato un plus. Abbiamo trovato la luce di cortesia nel bagno un'idea straordinaria. L'hotel ha 8 anni ma la stanza sembrava nuova di zecca. Le donne delle pulizie non le abbiamo neppure sentite e credo che sia importante quando si cerca un po' di riposo in silenzio. Lo staff gentile e professionale. Colazione abbondante e raffinata. Trovare poi nel frigobar 2 bottiglie d'acqua gentilmente offerte, fa sempre piacere soprattutto con questo caldo. Per noi l'labergo doveva chiamarsi 10più! Grazie e a presto.

It’s our 6th or 8th stay in 8 Piu hotel we are positive to stay there next summer while on vacation in Lecce. The hotel is well maintained clean and looks like brand new. The service is great and the staff working there always friendly and helpful. Angelo from the reception is the best!

The rooms are specious well equipped and with well working AC. Parking is not a problem at all.

Great business hotel in Lecce. The walk to the historical city centre was about ~20 minutes, through an area of town that I wouldn’t be comfortable walking in after dark. However, for the price of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room it was definitely worth it!

This was a great choice for someone like ourselves who didn’t want to drive into old town Lecce. The hotel is excellent: clean, comfortable, and well staffed. The breakfast is excellent. We had a short (10-15 minute) direct walk into old Lecce. As long as one is comfortable with such a walk, this hotel is a great choice.

Great modern hotel

We stayed at the junior suite and it was brilliant. Very spacious, modern, and the lighting was really fun. Breakfast was varied, of great quality and included hot options. This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. It's around 22 minutes walk from the edge of the old town along a boring road but the hotel was so good we didn't really mind.

Great base for visiting Lecce area.

A very good hotel in a convenient location for visiting area around Lecce. Easy access from main routes. Only disadvantage is the 1km walk into the historical centre of Lecce itself. Loved the relaxed welcome every time we entered the hotel, good food in the restaurant, a great choice of food for breakfast, and a well appointed and spotlessly clean room.Even had a Uk news channel on TV!

It was a real pleasure to stay at the 8 Piu. Excellent, modern, elegant place, comfortable , clean and with AC. Excellent locatio, it was the perfect place for visiting Lecce and exploring the surrounding cities during our stay in Lecce . We highly recommend this place. We are very happy that we found this place, The hotel was selected to be of one of “The top 100 hotels with best design.”

Modern and comfortable.

We chose the hotel as it was conveniently located if you are driving. It was about 15 mins walk into the old town so not too far.
The hotel is very modern with comfy beds and lots of hi tech gadgets.

Very modern and comfortable

Liked the hyper modern decoration. Very comfortable room and great breakfast. Location is on the main road. Our room was an accesible room that has an awkward and not pleasant shower.

Bells and whistles

This hotel has a shower that makes you feel like you’re at a dance party.
It’s clean. A quick drive from the town centre. Breakfast was lovely.
The staff were busy but tried to be accommodating.

Great stay

Front desk staff always extremely helpful and friendly. Funky hotel with cool designs and amenities. Junior Suite was good size, with comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Colour change shower was groovy! Lots of parking. Easy to drive from hotel out of Lecce for sightseeing and trips. Also a convenient 20 min walk into old town. Good restaurant menu and food. Restaurant service great. Good selection at buffet breakfast.

Great Hotel - Good Location

This is a very modern hotel with large, very well appointed rooms. It is extremely comfortable and very quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpfull.
The breakfast is excellent.
The hotel is a very easy 20 minute walk from the old town.

Best hotel we stayed in in Puglia

What a great hotel!. The room was clean and attractively decorated. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices including home made pastries and cookies. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and the food and service was outstanding - better than any we went to in Lecce. Free parking, and within 10 minutes of the historic center of Lecce, this is a best bet. .

overall a good hotel

very nice and modern hotel. A bit pricey and the room we have is a bit small for two adults and one 9 years old.
AC was uncontrollably cold and we had to ask the reception to turn it off.

Best base for exploring Puglia

The staff were lovely people- friendly, helpful, generous. The hotel was a joy from the comfortable room to the attractive modern design (even the teapots are beautiful) to the fantastic food.
The breakfast has everything and it's all fresh. There is an incredible value cocktail or aperitif hour- try their monitors! Dinner at the restaurant is first class.
The hotel is also well placed for exploring the area.
A few words of advice. The hotel is more geared to adults and businesspeople than families even though there is a play room (the TV channels are limited to news and the movie channels to 'adult'). The indoor and outdoor public areas are quite limited but more than adequate. The 15 minute walk into historic Lecce is through a rundown part of town.
None of that is important. If you're visiting southern Puglia, you couldn't stay anywhere better.

Great spot for vacation in Lecce

It was my 4 or 5 time staying in that hotel while on vacation in Salento. Love the hotel for its convinient location free wifi parking and free breakfast. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The property is very modern clean and only 15 min walk to Lecce Old Town! Definitely not my last stay there!

Nice modern hotel. Walking distance to town centre

the hotel was in a very good location. Close enough to town to walk but away from the busy tourist area. The rooms were clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. Wifi. Big spa bathroom with a great shower. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food to choose. All very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would go back. It was a really great place.

Gem of a hotel in Lecce

We had a wonderful stay in this very chic hotel. Rooms are ultra modern and high tech, which was interesting. The breakfast was magnificent and the hotel space was lovely. Nice 15 minute walk to town full of nice bars and restaurants.
