The hotel lighting is very limited, really uncomfortable to stay. Breakfast is not delicious for room rate that I paid. The pillow look like not really pillow for sleep. I don’t want to come back to this hotel.

it needs cleaning and renovations

The building is beautiful from the outside but the room inside (at least in the room where we stayed) really needs some real cleaning and renovations, the carpet is very dirty, you might need to bring your own room slippers, you dont want to step your foot on the carpet and then to your bed. The edges of every corners are dusty, rooms are not cleaned daily. The shower cabin doors are defect. Therefore the price is really expensive for the kind of room you will get.

Good location of the hotel, staff very nice. Our room was dated and in the morning w had lots of road works. Breakfast was a bit disappointing too. Not a 4 star standard that’s for sure it was more 3 star hotel. Much overpriced not worth the price we pay and I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.

Lots of nicer hotels in Quedlinburg

We have been given the “Expedia” treatment- didn’t book directly with us?- OK, we have a nice ground floor room looking at the parking lot. Surprised that a company like Wyndham would put their name on this hotel. Only one staff person( who had to eat at the reception) on duty. Weren’t thanked at all when we checked out. Difficult to arrive as there is no spot to park and get luggage into the hotel, once you figure out where the entrance is.

Lovely stay in the heart of town.

This former castle, now hotel, while a good distance from the train station, is just 2 1/2 blocks from the town square and all its shops. Yet it's far enough away to offer a good night's sleep. The meandering cobble stoned streets, streams, quaint houses, and old churches are all around in this picturesque town. The historic castle on the hill and its church and abbey are within 20 minutes walking distance. A small garden there offers a stunning view of the town. The free buffet breakfast at the hotel was nicely presented and had many options. It was in a classy upstairs area with seating in several rooms, each with tables draped with white table cloths.

Nice hotel, good location, great town

We stopped in Quedlinburg for just a night between Prague and Denmark. It turned out to be a lovely cozy little town. This hotel puts you right near the quaint town square. Would recommend stopping by there and staying at this hotel.

Any location in the Altstadt is good, but this hotel also has large rooms some close restaurants and pleasant, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent with good selection of muesli/cereal, various yoghurts, juice, plenty of coffee. Hot and cold meats, cheese and eggs. Showing a bit of age since last renovation, but overall truly 4 star. Good price as well. Staff speaks sufficient english, but some better than others.

Breakfast service was not that great, hot food containers were empty already 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the end of service and were never refilled during the 30 minutes we sat for breakfast. They seemed to be woefully understaffed for both Easter dinner on Sunday and breakfast Monday. We had dinner reservations and actually got up and left due to not being acknowledged by the wait staff after 10 minutes (not so much as a glance from the staff).
The hotel is beautiful, situated right in the middle of town. If you have a street facing room, be aware that you will hear bar traffic until 1am walking down the street. So if you like to sleep with the windows open, you will hear quick a bit from the revelers coming home.

Our large family of 7 stayed in 3 rooms in July 2015 and chose this hotel due to its great location right in the centre of Quedlinburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms were large and comfortable, the included breakfast buffet was bountiful and delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely location lovely hotel lovely staff

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham gardens hotel. All parts of the hotel were clean, the staff mostly spoke English ( which is handy ), breakfast was very good. We paid a €7.50 a day for off street parking. We booked two delux rooms through expedia but when we arrived there was only one standard room booked, fortunately there was another available so no problem. Quedlinburg is well worth a visit, if you love history you'll love it here.

Simply Brilliant, great location, friendly staff

What an excellent price we paid for two nights which included a lovely sauna and jakuzzi with a wide range of food for breakfast. The hotel is perfectly situated in the town (which I should warn, does have some major restoration works going on in the centre at the moment). Still, we had a great time.

We had a problem using the safe because the instructions where in German (naturally) and it was already locked but a quick call to reception sorted this minor issue out. The food in the restaurant was lovely too but clearly you should venture out into the town for dinner.

I suppose the only slight negative matter is that you must pay 7.50 euro a night car park fee if you wish to use the car park. Quedlinburg is quite complicated for street parking so we opted for this.

This is the first time I have rated a hotel 5.

Ich bin eigentlich kein Fan von Nörgeleien, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältn hat für mich nicht gepasst. Spakige Fugen in der Duschkabine bis obenhin, und der Hahn im Waschbecken so kurz, dass man beim Händewaschen immer das Becken berührte ... Als wir eine fleckige Bettdecke moniert hatten, mussten wir hören, dass die Dame an der Rezeption das selbst machen muss, wenn sie das Housekeeping nicht erreicht. Ist nicht mein Problem, und eine Entschuldigung gab es für die Flecken auch nicht. Beim Auschecken und bezahlen keine Frage ob alles in Ordnung war, oder ein Danke für Ihren Aufenthalt, auf Wiedersehen oder ähnliches. Hab wirklich selten so wenig Bereitschaft zur Dienstleistung erlebt! Die Lage ist zentral in der Altstadt, da kann man nicht meckern, das Frühstück war okay, aber nicht besonders viel Auswahl, die Brötchen erinnerten an Aufbackware aus dem Discounter ...Das Rührei war aber lecker!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Wir hatten dort einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Für den Parkplatz im Innenhof muss man allerdings 12 Euro pro Nacht bezahlen. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz steht in 150 Meter Entfernung ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Allerdings ist die Nutzung durch die Einbahnstraße, die um ganz Quedlinburg führt, etwas ungeschickt. Und was ich nicht so toll fand, dass das Servicepersonal seine Sachen in den Gängen liegen lässt. Somit mussten wir beim Gang zum Frühstück durch Stapel von Bettwäsche und Reinigungsmaterial laufen.

Fint, hyggeligt hotel

Hyggeligt hotel, som ligger i centrum og med gangafstand til fine restauranger, butikker, seværdigheder osv. Servicen i receptionen var god og selve hotellet var bedre end forventet. Værelserne var hyggelige og havde bekvemme senge. Alt føltes desuden rent på trods af at det er en gammel bygning. Morgenmaden som bliver serveret i en gammel sal var rigtig god. Vi vil helt sikkert rekommendere et ophold på dette fine gamle hotel.

Nicht das Zimmer (Zimmerkategorie) bekommen, welches gebucht. Erst nach einer äußerst unangenehmen Diskussion fand man noch ein Zimmer (für Personen mit körperlichen Gebrechen) welches ich beziehen durfte. Das Personal ist nicht qualifiziert und zum Teil sehr unfreundlich. Beide Zimmer die ich sehen und begehen durfte waren sehr schmutzig. Staub, Spninnenetze, Müll von anderen Gästen, Laub auf den Fenstersimsen usw. Die Duschkabinen lassen sich nicht schließen, der Koch -zum Frühstücken- ist nicht da, Wespen im Honig….

Die Wespe wird entfernt und das Glass wieder auf den Tisch gestellt. Unter der Woche um 21:30 Uhr wird keine Rechnung mehr ausgestellt, weil die Kasse schon gemacht ist usw.

Dieses Hotel bestimmt nicht wieder und auch nicht zu empfehlen.

Meget slidt hotel. Bygningen er gammel og kunne være hyggelig, men trænger i den grad til restaurering. Værelset var et handicapvenligt værelset, som er upraktisk, når man ikke er handicappet. Håndtag sidder lavt, sengen var lav (og totalt nedslidt), underlig konfiguration af badeværelse. Dårligt lys på værelse og badeværelse, nedslidt ulækkert gulvtæppe. Morgenmad kun ok ikke noget særligt.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time in 3 years. We had the usual covid19 restrictions but overall it was a nice stopover in a marvellous city. We could not have a buffet but they served a very nice spread and we had a choice of egg dishes.

Gelungener Kurzaufenthalt in Quedlinburg

Das Hotel ist zentral in der Altstadt Quedlinburgs gelegen. Einige Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es auf dem Innenhof, in unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es auch kostenfreie Parkplätze an der Straße. Das Ambiente beim Frühstücksbuffet war sehr nett, da dies in dem urigen alten Schloss stattfindet. Die Hygienestandards zu Coronazeiten wurden -soweit von uns erkennbar- jederzeit eingehalten. Unser Zimmer war einfach und zweckmäßig, wir hatten aber auch lediglich ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht, sodass alles soweit in Ordnung ging. Wir wurden an der Rezeption nett und freundlich behandelt. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Sehr individuelles Hotel in einem großzügigen historischen Bauwerk in sehr guter Lage für die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Quedlinburg. Selbst unter den eingeschränkten Bedingungen aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie bot das Hotel sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten einschließlich eines reichhaltigen, hochwertigen Frühstücks.
Die Zimmer sind großzügig und perfekt sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unter Berücksichtigung des idealen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sicher ein Top-Tipp für einen Kurztrip nach Quedlinburg.

Vi havde to børn på 13 og 15, som fik små drømmesenge at sove på -mindre end dem selv. Der kom først rengøring kl 17 og vi skulle bede om nye håndklæder, selvom de snavsede lå på gulvet. Hotellet ligger super centralt i forhold til centrum. Parkering betalte vi for, men måtte parkere i en stor rodebunke med hotellets øvrige gæster.

Dejligt hotel, men vi boede på tredje sal ud mod Bockstraße, som er smal gade, så vi kunne høre alt som det var lige ude foran vinduet, så vi måtte have vinduet lukket hele natten, lidt øv da det var virkeligt varmt på værelset. Så næste gang booker vi et værelse mod gården eller den anden side.Ellers var vi super tilfreds med hele opholdet.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Das Zimmer war trotz Aufbettung geräumig, das Bad groß und sauber. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Der zweite (externe) Parkplatz ist nicht weit weg, so dass es immer Parkmöglichkeiten gab.

Insgesamt bleibt zu sagen der Preis von 240€ pro Nacht ist, auch zu dieser Zeit, absolut unberechtigt. Dafür muss mehr kommen. Zimmer und Hotel sind insgesamt angewöhnt und renovierungs bedürftig. Hotelbar wird Abends durch die Reception besetzt. Saunabereich indiskutabel für ein Vier Sterne Haus. Duschen funktionieren nicht, Handtücher werden von der Reception ausgegeben. Durch den Wirlpool Krach im Ruheraum wie in einer Werkhalle. Frühstück ist bestenfalls Pensionsstandard. .Insgesamt bleibt zu sagen, Quedlinburg ist fantastisch, muss man zur Weihnachtszeit erlebt haben, aber das Hotel war bestenfalls ein gutes Zwei Sterne Haus, der Zimmerpreis für diese Leistung ist Abzocke pur, würde ich nie wieder buchen.

Insgesamt sehr gutes Hotel. Freundlichkeit des Personals lobenswert. Lage des Hotels sehr günstig.
Dennoch einige Mängel: Lift außer Betrieb ( mußte trotz Gehbeschwerten in 3. Etage; Putzmittel standen in Fluren, ebenso Aufbettungen und Wäschecontainer-entspricht nicht 4 Sternen.

Kurztrip in den Harz

Ein schönes Hotel, 2 Minuten bis zum Marktplatz, Zimmer sauber, Betten bequem, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbüfett reichhaltig, Kaffee etwas dünn.
Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Zentrale Lag. Zimmer zum Innenhof ruhig.
Sehr störend allerdings für Zimmer 307, dass die Flurtür automatisch mit lautem Knall ins Schlos fällt. Zumindest ein Hinweis für die Gäste, die Tüt per Hand zu schließen, könnte helfen.

Die Tatsache,dass der Fahrstuhl über lange Zeit defekt ist,ist unverständlich und ist total unverständlich.Desweiteren war bei der Buchung nicht erkennbar,dass das gebuchte Zimmer (Standard) ausschließlich über eine STEILE Treppe vom 2.ins 3. Geschoß führt.Umbuchung war wegen Auslastung nicht möglich.

Good choice in Quedlinburg

Although we were staying at the hotel in the middle of a heatwave (+35 degrees), we still enjoyed the hotel and city. The hotel put a fan (ventilator) in the room. Breakfast is very good, staff very friendly. Free parking provided near the hotel.

Et ok hotell i en veldig fin by. Hotellet virket slitent. Heisen virket ikke og vi måtte slepe kofferter opp i 3 etasje. Den ble ikke reparert på de tre dagene vi var der. Det var en liten spaavdeling, men der virket ikke boblebadet. Rommet var helt ok. Frokosten var veldig bra

Hyggelig hotel i smuk by

Fint hotel centralt i en fantastisk smuk by. Vi boede en familie tre dage på dette hotel. Vi satte pris på den centrale placering, de pæne værelser, stemningen på hotellet (det er gammeldags, men med de dyder som det nu har), den fine morgenmad. Vi savnede aircondition på værelset i varmen, men nød i det store hele at bo her.

Das Personal an der Rezeption hat mir nicht gefallen.
Mal wurde gegrüßt und das andere mal wurde nach unten geschaut und erst nach unserem grüßen wurde afgeschaut und dann erst der Gruß erwiedert.

gute keine Anfahrt mit Auto möglich. Das wurde im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert. Parkplatz war blockiert und das Fahrzeug musste im Aussenring nach langer Suche abgestellt werden. Bei An und Abreise musste mit Gepäck die Strecke zum Auto zu Fuß bewältigt werden. Das war ein Negativerlebnis!
