NO REWARDS if you stay here

The stay was OK, except the internet on our floor was not working (acknowledged by the reception, but not fixed).

The big complaint is that, despite emails sent, the hotel never reported the stay to Hotels.com, and hence we have still not received our bonus stamps for the two nights.

Since this was not reported even after a reminder email, I conclude that the behavior is intentional, so if you are collecting rewards you should AVOID THIS HOTEL!

I dont recommend this hotel to anyone .

I have found a black widow spider in my room just near the bed. Those types of spiders are poisonous. I have asked hotel reception lady to change my room but she refused then someone came claimed to be a manager start shouting and asking me to leave the hotel. I was shocked as i was looking for a solution and donot want a headche .This hotel is a nightmare . The lady was polite but the manager was extremly rude and non professional. Then he called the police which did nothing more than asking me to claim this with the booking company and leave the hotel . I donot recommend this hotel to anyone.
I have changed the hotel to another one in the same area .

Stayed at this hotel to visit grandchildren, its position is an easy walk into the centre of Halberstadt, in a quiet street and faces a small park. Busy at the weekend, not so (but not dead) during the week. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet 'superior' room (which we requested) was comfortable and in a good state of repair. WiFi worked perfectly most of the time.
We would certainly stay here again (at the right price).

Wonderful hotel - we'd give it all 5's if the internet had worked in the room. It worked fine in the lobby and was suppised to work in the room but our signal kept dropping. Other than that, really pretty hotel, nice room that overlooked the garden, good breakfast and well oriced.

Great Getaway

This hotel is fabulous if (and only if) you really want to get away from everything for a couple of days. The restaurant is excellent! The rooms are spacious. The location is very relaxing (and far away from just about everything... you have to relax here because there is nothing else around). Free wifi was a good touch for a such an otherwise remote location.

Very comfortable stay, the staff are friendly and happy to help. The restaurant serves beautiful food, its a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. We didn't go into town so I'm not sure how far it is, but it does look, on the map to be a reasonable walk.

Hotel Unter den Linden

As indicated in an earlier review we had extended our stay at this hotel. The location was convenient for us both for walking to local attractions as well as driving to various other locations in the area. We had dinner on the last evening at their own restaurant and had a positive surprise despite the higher than average prices. The service personnel were very attentive, especially serving my wive her two lattes every morning at breakfast. The only complaint we had was the lack of A/C during an unusual heatwave.

Hotel Unter den Linden provides excellent service

Stayed in the new part of the hotel, pleasantly surprised after having read some negative reviews by other travellers. There are two minus points: The lack of A/C when we were experiencing temperatures in the mid 30 C, plus a lot of humidity. The other one the lack of parking space within the hotel compound (Only 5 spaces). Breakfast - which was included in our price - was plentiful and the service was excellent. The front desk was knowledgable about the town and gave good advice about near restaurants. Decided to extent our stay here.

Einfach großartig, besonders das Personal. Bedauerlich ist aber, dass die sehr, sehr gute Küche geschlossen ist. Aber ich verstehe die Entscheidung des Managements total - ich würde es mir bei den Rahmenbedingungen auch nicht antun.

En skuffende rejse.

Under den Linden er et fantastisk gammelt hotel med en sjæl som desværre er gået i stå, det var en skuffelse at restauranten var nedlagt og dermed gjorde at der var totalt dødt efter morgenmad, som iøvrigt var god med en meget opmærksom tjener. Der mangler liv i huset og lidt udendørs faciliteter , parasoller bænke etc. Lidt aften service ville være et plus.
Der er langt ind til Centrum som iøvrigt mangler spise steder som er værd at besøge.

Der Aufenthalt im Parkhotel Unter den Linden war kurz gesagt super. Der Empfang beim Check-in überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf der schön im Grünen gelegenen Terrasse der historischen Villa Klamroth konnte nach längerer Radanfahrt in Ruhe ein frisch gezapftes Bier genossen werden. Die Zimmer sind äußerst sauber, gepflegt und ruhig. Das reichhaltige Frühstück wird freundlich serviert. Insgesamt ein wie leider heute selten erlebt freundliches, gepflegtes Haus in schönem Ambiente. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Se ha quedado anticuado y sin restaurante

El Restaurante del hotel está cerrado y no volverá a abrir debido a falta de personal según recepción. El desayuno es pobre, se reduce a dos panecillos y un platito con una loncha de embutido variado, o incluso media loncha, en total 3 y 2 de queso, mantequilla y un poco de mermelada individual y lo típico de cafe o te. Si que te ofrecen hacerte unos huevos revueltos o plancha. La habitación estaba y se mantiene caliente, es amplia, pero estancada en los 90.
La cama necesita un cambio de colchón urgente, se hace difícil descansar. El WiFi en las habitaciones no funcionaba y como favor, te habilitan una mesa en el comedor, como favor especial, si insistes que necesitas trabajar.
Todo muy limpio y el personal muy amable y servicial.

Gute Lage zur Altstadt

Von außen sehr hübsch anzusehen, von innen im Stil schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer lag den ganzen Tag zur Sonne und war dementsprechend aufgeheizt, an Atmen war selbst in der Nacht damit schwer zu arbeiten (keine Klimaanlage). Die Spülbürste im Bad müsste wohl häufiger gewechselt werden, ansonsten war es aber sauber und ordentlich.
Das Personal war sehr nett. Auch als in der Nacht unser Zimmerschlüssel nicht zur Hoteltür passte, öffnete uns der Nachtportier.

Fraglich warum das Hotel 4 Sterne hat. Vor 30 Jahren vielleicht gerechtfertigt. Fenster klemmen, Waschbecken mit riesigem Riss. Zustellbett mindestens 30 Jahre alt und qualitativ nicht zumutbar. Fernsehen nicht möglich da fast nur Schnee zu sehen war.
Personal ist aber freundlich.

Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig, in den umliegenden Strassen findet man problemlos einen Parkplatz, der Halberstädter Dom ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen.

Wieso 4 Sterne???

Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im Neubau unterm Dach,-Südseite!! 4 Tage lang über 30 Grad.... Keine Klimaanlage, keine Jalousien, kein Insektenschutz... Da das Hotel nur zur Hälfte gebucht war, bat ich um einen Zimmerwechsel. Dieser wurde mir zweimal abgelehnt, mit der Begründung es wäre überall gleich heiß.... Kein Aufzug,- ich musste das Gepäck selbst hoch schleppen... Im verglasten Treppenhaus hunderte von Fluginsekten. Meine Tochter hat sich sehr geekelt und wollte erst gar nicht durch gehen. Wir schmorten im eigenen Saft.. um etwas Kühle ins Zimmer zu lassen, rissen wir nachts die Fenster auf und wurden total zerstochen. Lichtblicke waren das sehr freundliche Personal im Frühstücks-Restaurant und die gute ruhige Lage des Hotels

Hübsches Privat Geführtes Hotel

Das Parkhotel Unter den Linden liegt nahe des Stadtzentrum Holzmarkt. Das 4Sterne Hotel ist im Preisleistung für 64€ im Business Einzelzimmer mit Grossen Bett und TV inklusive Wlan und Frühstück sehr sehr inordnung. Die Empfangsdamen sind sehr Nett und stets Hilfsbereit sie bemühen sich alle Wünsche so schnell wie möglich zu erfüllen! Das Frühstück ist Reichhaltig und sehr Liebevoll In Buffet Form aufgebaut der HotelChef selber macht Zeitweise auch das Frühstück was ich sehr lobenswert finde muss ich sagen!
Das Resturante ist sehr Stil voll und gemütlich Eingerichtet die Preise für ein AbendEssen sind sehr inordnung und das Essen ist sehr lecker!
Die Zimmermädchen sind sehr nett und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet im Großen und Ganzen kann ich nur sageN TOP hier komme ich nochmal hin und kann es gutes gewissen weiter emphelem! :)

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Parkhotel übernachtet. Wir haben uns auf Kloster Michaelstein Blankenburg zu einem Familientreffen zusammengefunden.
Wir kommen aus Magdeburg und haben das lange Wochenende für eine kleine Auszeit genutzt.

Hotel in der Nähe der Familie gesucht.

Frühstück war in Ordnung aber nicht wirklich besser als in der Pension in der wir vorher für nur 40 Euro übernachtet hatten.
Die Zimmerausstattung war sehr alt und im Bad waren überall kalkflecken und ansonsten auch nicht sehr einladend.
Für ein vier Sterne Haus in der Preisklasse, waren die Erwartungen dann doch eher ungenügend.
Personal ist freundlich.
Wir würden dennoch hier nicht noch einmal buchen, hatten bisher in einer Pension übernachtet und dort einen besseren Standard und Service bekommen für über die Hälfte weniger an Kosten.
Es gibt keinen gravierenden Grund warum wir dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen aber es gibt auch keine Grund warum wir es noch einmal tuen sollten.
Schade, hatten uns mehr erhofft.

In diesem Hotel habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch das Restaurant mit der ausgezeichneten Küche und das zuvorkommende Personal haben sehr zu meinem angenehmen Aufenthalt beigetragen.
