Woke up at 4:30 am with ants crawling everywhere in the room. Reception moved us to another room, but at that point the night was ruined—we were exhausted, had to clean all our things, and sleep was gone.
I went to reception three different times asking to speak with the manager. The answer? She doesn’t have time for you. Come back tomorrow after breakfast. Excuse me? This is supposed to be customer service?
What a joke. Totally unacceptable.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel. The service was great and the spa facilities excellent. The hotel was much further away from the beach and local shops than expected so this was the only negative. Absolutely perfect though if you have a car. The bus stop is only a 10 minute walk away though and the buses take you to the train station so it is easy to visit other places such as Nice, Monaco and Cannes. The hotel was lovely, I would highly recommend.

Cleanliness was the main issue. I booked a standard room for my family and was immediately met with a strong smell of mould/ sewage.. the shower head itself was full of mould and so were the bathroom tiles. We also found lots of dust (I’m allergic) and bugs in the room. The room itself did not offer a 4* standard and was very old and the carpets were stained throughout.

I was kindly offered another room and was ‘upgraded’. This room was ok and was decently cleaned and provided amazing views. The receptionist were very kind.

The toilets around the property (by the pool/spa) were dirty and I honestly felt like I was using a park toilet.

The pools were so good and my child throughly enjoyed using them, although the flooring/walls are rough and constantly scratched/scared us.

We didn’t really use the spa facilities but I will say that there was a strong sewer smell in the spa and main reception area.

Overall, the property was decent and offered good value for money, it just needs a good upgrade to bring the standards up and to improve the cleaning standards throughout.

A good holiday but there’s a few issues with the hotel, restaurant is only a la carte, fine for a night, but useless for a multi night stay, you can’t even get a sandwich at lunch by the pool, and nothing close to the hotel really. One of the pools was drained. The pools are salt water and the pools are super rough concrete. And a glass of rosé is extortionate.

Hotel and facilities are nice but somewhat worned in areas. Spa has many treatments available and good pools but compared to Cab de antibes hotel standards which we went to as well, it is not a 5 star standard as that. Receptionists are really nice and helpful. Cleaning needs to improve as does friendliness of restaurant and housekeeping.

In overall its a decent 4 star, but good for the price

Our stay at was absolutely amazing and relaxing. The ladies who clean do an amazing job too.
Though yesterday i tried to get some water since they hadn’t gotten to our room yet i went out and asked the cleaner on the next floor up , mariama and she said i should go back and ask the lady on my floor.
I just think out of courtesy water should be handed to guests when they request from any cleaner. If this rule could be changed. That would be nice. Alina was extremely courteous and kind. She gave me the water when i found her 😊

Limited availability of room services such as water. We got 2 small bottles for drinking and tea but housekeeping were not so forthcoming with providing any additional. Possibly restrictions.

Disgusting. That's all I can say about this hotel. It is dilapidated, unsanitary and dirty. Staff unfriendly, cleaning crew need eye exam. They seem to \"clean\" and nothing is clean. Mold in the bedrooms, mold in the bathrooms, dirty laundry, dirty carpets.
We waited 5 days for them to change the bedding on our bed. After many requests!!!
The breakfast is disgusting. Rotten fruit. Stale bread, old food, expired dairy products.
If you are looking for a health retreat, avoid this property.

We loved our stay at the hotel. While not every aspect was perfect, the majority of things were excellent and I want to focus on those and not nit pick on less important things that maybe could be improved.

The highlight was the team at the front desk. They deserve huge credit and went the extra mile every time. Professional to its definition, friendly, helpful…amazing. We had a sick child for the duration of the stay and needed a doctor to visit and then later for her to go to the local hospital. The front desk team (24 hour) were simply amazing and helped with every single request. Thank you all so much!!!! If only every hotel had a team as amazing as you all are.

The second thing deserving mention is the water quality. This was our final stop on a two week family trip through three countries in Europe. The water in the swimming pools was sometimes less than perfect during the trip. However, at Baie des Anges we saw the guy test the water in each of the pools every morning with his suitcase of test tubes and other water testing equipment. It was impressive to see and made us feel good about swimming in what we knew were pools with superbly clean water.

There are several other things that made the stay enjoyable. Very good food (excellent breakfast), wonderful facilities to relax, entertainment and a shuttle to/from Antibes several times a day.

In spite of having a sick child we had a wonderful stay and would love to return some day.

Overall a disappointing stay. No proper cups (just some super cheap plastic ones that broke on touch basically), hand soap or any other standard and basic hotel supplies (I consider myself lucky we got toilet paper). The air conditioner barely worked at the room which made sleeping harder (I just noticed now this is a recurring complaint in the hotel reviews and clearly has not been addressed). The indoor hallways were always super hot. On the last night there was a short-circuit with one of the lamps when my son connected on the wall a Nintendo charger, short circuit sound and burning smell followed.

The only good thing is we had a car and spent more time outside than in the hotel.

Worst stay on our Côte d'Azur trip

During our 2 week road trip through Côte d'Azur we stayed one night in Antibes. When we booked as a family (2 adults and 1 kid) we got a family room for almost CHF 300 per night. The room was in catastrophic circumstances. The carpet was dirty, it smelled of smoke, the air condition was leaking and the ceiling had mould. The room was dark as the light was insufficient. Also the towels were dirty and had hair on them. The staff was also not very friendly. So we even didn‘t check the SPA. The only good thing about the hotel was it’s restaurant with a good view and the food was nice.

The location was ok and it had a nice beach. Breakfast was decent and the free parking was nice to have. The staff wasn't the most helpful: they weren't unpleasant just not actively seeking to check-in on you. My best experience was a brief conversation I had with one of the cleaning staff, who was about to clean my room. She was quite friendly and asked about my stay/trip… I expected this from restaurant service staff or the front desk staff or event the staff at the spa

This was a nice hotel but not sure it warrants the 4-star rating. The restaurant for evening meals was excellent – if expensive - but breakfast was not included and at €19/person would have added about £350 to the cost of our 10-day stay. We did have breakfast on our last morning but not sure it was worth €19.
The tea/coffee making facilities were OK but supplying only paper cups was unacceptable for a 4-star establishment. Also they weren’t replaced every day leaving us to hunt round the hotel for replacements – and for sugar!
The location is a bit ‘remote’ and you need a car – which we had – or you have to rely on the hotel’s efficient shuttle bus service into the centre of Antibes or to the station.
I attempted to use the gym but was told that I was not suitable attired! Evidently a summer shirt, shorts and casual shoes wasn’t good enough, although it would be perfectly acceptable in my local gym at home. No, it seems I needed a ‘proper’ T shirt, sports shots and trainers. Maybe they’d have liked me to get a few tattoos on my arms as well, to blend in with the rest of their clientele…! I did not go back.
All in all I felt its atmosphere was a bit ‘faded glory’ and living on past reputations. Although it was very clean and tidy and there were some very helpful staff.

Nice clean modern hotel with great spa facilities. There are two swimming pools for adults and a third for adults only.

The rooms are a decent size with a nice furnished balcony to sit out on.

Bathrooms are all recently updated with a modern feel.

The negative is the hotel location. It is quite remote to anywhere else.
Also the evening meal time does not start until 7.30pm which could be a problem if you are travelling with young children. Also there didn't seem to be a kids menu despite being advertised as family friendly.

The property has great location! The outdoor pools with the salt water are very good also the indoor pool with jacuzzi and hydro massage are great!
All the rooms as I have seen have large balconies.
Unfortunately the room we have stayed had peeled paint on on one off the walls with a mould start! The balcony door from the kids room wasn’t looking (staff tried to repair but broken again after 1 day)!
The carpet needs to be changed or at least have a deep cleaning.
Breakfast is bland- exactly same thing every morning with limited choice I am afraid!
One day for some reason staff could not clean the room in a space of 4h and when asked receptionist if we could have the towels changed - i was send to the stock room to ask for new towels ( gave up)
Overall we enjoyed the stay but a bit disappointed with these small things!

I found it very lovely the pool was exceptionally lovely the location of my room fabulous the food and drink was so expensive I paid nine euros for two cokes it wax extortionate take lots of money with you. Antibes is a built up area with loads of traffic and not much pRking often hard to find spaces outside of hotel.

You really need a car as slightly too far to walk anywhere but there are buses. Breakfast is v. Expensive at 18 euros and evening meals are more Nouvelle cuisine with small portions and not much veg.
However, room was very comfortable with a good sized balcony offering a fantastic view over the bay (although not very near beach). There is also a great spa with lovely pool. Great massages. Staff are helpful and manager very approachable. Good if you are looking for a French experience as not many English there. O

Nice family friendly hotel with great children's pools. Drinks and restaurant expensive and 2km away from anything. 4 out of 5 is a good review though, very happy. Sea view nice but spoiled in the evening by biot park lights and noise. Breakfast on the terrace very nice in the mornings. Indoor spa nice, but not open when I wanted to use it around my family is before 8am and after 8pm so a little annoying. Nice secure free car parking.

Everything you need for a luxury break.

We absolutely LOVE this hotel. From the \"dishes to suit all EU nationalities\" breakfast bar to the warm sea-water swimming pools and spa, it has everything you could possibly want for a luxuriously comfortable stay. Very nice hidden gem of a hotel outside of Nice

We only stayed 1 night in between a house rental and a morning flight from Nice. What a pleasant surprise. Great views. Odd location (in an apartment complex) but the food and the hotel were wonderful. we have little kids, so 3 pools and big rooms with balconies were great. Overall, I would stay again.

They were able to give us a really nice suite with a view but not being able to use the pool or gym facilities until 9:00am is crazy.......it's a conference center and spa people need to get in for little R & R before the work day begins.

I didn't even get to swim : - ( so that was disappointing but everything else was good.

Never tried their 18 euros breakfast buffet, always went to Boulangerie in the neighborhood. Nice swimming pool, but unfortunately never used, as it's open from 9am to 6pm, and I was there for work. If it was open till 10pm, that would have been usable...

Nearest shop facility is 2 km away. Taxis are expensive 18 eu. Taxi expenses for 2 days 80 eu only to and from Antibes train station. Shuttle service is very cheap (1eu) but starts too late 10:45 a.m so it is useless.

Internet is very limited. No whats-up calls, no SIP calls, no remote desktop. I couldn't talk wit my family in these two days.

Is as to be in a lost paradise.

nice hotel, limited access to advertised services-

we lucked out and found this great hotel/spa on hotels.com. a fantastic hotel, very comfortable room. our only complaint was that the bathroom toilet room smelled of strong urine which we had to complain about-they didn't have another room available for a bit of time-it did make us question their cleaning. we went down to go use the saunas & hot tub only to be told when we got down stairs that we should have had robes & slippers & spa towels in our room-none there and they would only give us 2 towels when we were down stairs. then we were not allowed in their hotub without their own specific hair wrap on which they sold for $3Euro/each, we declined and only remained in the co-ed saunas and outdoor swimming pool. not a totally 'all-inclusive' service hotel.

Nice hotel, friendly reception staff. Rude spa & swimming pool staff. Were refused entry to the spa area, because my husband was wearing long swim wear. Staff said that this swim wear is only for competition swimming. Outrageous snobbish attitude.
Need a car to get to the hotel from the town. About 10 min drive.

Pool towels are small and not complimentary, there is a charge of 4 euros each per day. Spa in the hotel is nice but if you want to use the pool at the spa you also have to rent the cap for your hair. All these additional charges should be posted as additional fees at Expedia or the hotel. The food at the restaurant is good. Rooms are very spacious with a walking closet. Having free parking is a plus. Overall a good family hotel also good for couples.

Staff let this nice hotel down

The hotel itself is very modern and in a nice position in the suburbs of Antibes. However the staff were not up to the standard of the decor - they were mostly rude, or officious, and at best slightly ineffectual. It's possible the hotel is understaffed - at times it seemed like the ones who were present were too stressed to deal with the guests. They seemed obsessed with following the rules - one particularly hilarious one being only being able to have one pillow per guest - it was very telling of the overall attitude.

The swimming pool is also salt water which the kids didn't really like - it has a stinging effect on the skin when you get out.

It's not really a hotel for families - there are not a lot of family-oriented facilities, or much food on the restaurant menu that is aimed at kids. The family rooms however are a decent size.

We only stayed two nights and that was more than enough.

Nice Hotel - Food and Drinks Overpriced

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, in a family room which was perfect for a holiday with two teenage children. Overall, I couldn't fault the room and facilities but could not believe the price of basic food at this hotel. My children bought two Magnum ice-creams and were chaged 14 euros. I'm happy to pay for quality food and drinks but this was excessive. They also ordered Jambon / ham rolls, they were embarrassing for such a hotel. They were basically two small bread rolls were a slice of ham and absolutely nothing else, no salad or garnish or anything, I would have been embarrassed to serve these to guests and charge 15 euros. Even my teenagers were shocked when they saw them.

Enjoyed our stay.. Rooms were clean, only downside was the spa didn't have English translations of list but google translate helped. Staff were attentive , didn't eat there wait was pricey . 5-10 minute drive to Juan sans pin white sand beaches with sun lounges..

Excellent facilities and very good value. Great panoramic views from the open air restaurant. A car is preferable here as it is a reasonable walk from the beach.

Love this hotel

Love this hotel. This is the second time I've stayed her while attending the Cannes Film Festival. I prefer to rent a car and commute to and from the festival as the chaos of staying in Cannes during the festival (not to mention the outrageous prices) makes Antibes a great alternative. The hotel is peaceful, quiet, relaxing and easily accessible by car. The staff are friendly and helpful. The service is great. It's gated with free garage parking. Beautiful facilities, including full spa, three pools, gym, restaurant and bar. Highly recommended.

Had a great time, the hotel was lovely and the staff were excellent. Their facilities were excellent, however as this is a spa hotel and we were guests at the hotel I was disappointed that we had to provide our own robes and towels for the spa, or hire them at a high price. We constantly had wet towels in our room as we didn't have extras for showers etc. Other hotels we have stayed at have always privided them.

Nicely gated Spa resort in Residential area. Higher floors have nicer view of the Ocean and mountains.

A nice property in Antibes, but not within walking distance of anything. Must have a car to get to restaurants and beaches. The walls are paper thin and you will here all kinds of noises from halls, adjoining rooms, and the nearby attraction park Marineland. Next time will stay closer to city center.

Wonderful place to stay in Antibes!

I loved this hotel. Everything about it was fantastic. The room was clean and modern. The shower was incredible. The service at the front desk was courteous and professional. The area is beautiful and it's convenient to everything. I can't wait to stay there again.
