The staff was wonderful, easy check in, requested a late check out and was able to check out st 1pm. The breakfast buffet and buffet on weekends on 3rd floor was very good. The room was clean. It is my 2nd time staying here I highly recommended staying here. Great location in district 1.

Staff were extremely cunning, they withhold my checkout long enough and made me pay for late checkout.

Until I negotiated, they dropped the late checkout fee by half (they claim they do not charge by hourly rate, but they eventually gave me the rate for 3pm checkout).

I also receive unpleasant stares from other staffs looking at me when I’m clarifying and negotiating about the rates for late checkout.

Even though we only stayed one night as a transitional day to another city, it was a great night. The room was spotless and roomy. I did not hesitate to use the bathroom shower as it felt clean and stocked with all necessities. Location is convenient and close to city centre.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Pullman Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Which is in district 1 in a great location.
We stayed in executive level rooms which were absolutely beautiful. The rooms themselves were modern well lit and thoughtful in their appointment.
Our room was on level 25 with an amazing view of the city with a huge window.
The access to the executive lounge was a great advantage to our stay.
Firstly the staff. They couldn’t be more helpful and attentive Ms Thanh and Mr Bau with Ms Anh and the team went above and beyond to make our stay even more of a pleasant experience.
Each and every one of them is a credit to the Pullman Hotel.
The time we were fortunate enough to spend with them would make us return to the Pullman when we return to Ho Chi Minh City for sure.

Don’t like the layout of the room. The bath tub smacked right on the middle & there is a partition hanged in the middle of the room, the space between the the bath tube & the shower stall/toilet so tight that I got hurt several times. Out side of this, hotel is average.

This is our 2nd stay. Aside from the commendable Executive Floor staff, Ha the hostess at 3 level breakfast area is most friendly and cheerful. Hoa (or Hao?) the lobby security/doorman is most helpful and attentive. 5 stars for a wonderful hospitality team at Pullman Saigon Centre.

One thing still baffles me is the shower temperature control. It moves to the very hot end and wouldn’t stay to where it was set. This happened in both rooms.

Doorman, Front Desk, F&B staff were most welcoming and helpful. The Executive Floor Staff were very hospitable, warm and friendly. Always smiling and go above and beyond to help. Namely: Duy, Anh and Linh. The cocktail hour spread is lovely - especially roast beef!
Breakfast at 3rd floor dining room has an awesome spread of items!

Laundry pick with was less than 5 mins and returned promptly. Cold water issue fixed quickly and quietly before we returned to our room.

Excellent stay and we look forward to returning soon!

Would have given 2 stars…read below why 3 stars and no more than that.
The welcome was basic - not friendly not rude just “blah”.
Rooms are very poorly designed.
1. Bathrooms have no door to enter the bathroom. So someone could be taking a shower and if you are near the entrance (closet area) you see them completely!
2. The mirror for makeup /shaving has lights…which don’t work.
3. There is no fan to remove the steam so the shower area has a mold smell. It is a breeding ground for mold.
4. The shower door opens out. So impossible to put the towel mat so when exiting the shower, you either side step to the side of the shower or walk on the tiles and risk slipping.
5. The actual shower taps are all fancy…and challenging to figure out how to increase hot water /cold water.
The room lighting is ridiculous. So many switches to turn this light on, that light off. One side of the bed controls all the lights. The other side of the bed has 1 switch that sometimes switches lights on and then off.
And if someone is in the bathroom area, and they switch on the light, the light shines through a tall obscured glass that separates the bed and bathroom. So if you’re sleeping and the other person goes to the bathroom and switches on the bathroom light, you are going to wake up.
Ridiculous design.
Swimming pool is jut ok. Not enough seats. No towels and so had to ask. This is a 5 star property so shouldn’t have to tell staff to stock up.
Breakfast was good.

Great Location. Easy checkin. Booked room with upgrade, late check out and F&B voucher. These were all supplied at checkin without prompting - which has been an issue at other hotels. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Lucky it was a Saturday night and I did not have to work as there was as no desk. Pity the tv blocked the magnificent view from the bed. Room a bit in the tiny side compared to the bathroom.

Booked a King Corner room. It was spaciuos, the bed was comfortable, good view (16th floor), shower & separate bath. Bath has a funny wall screen coming down from the ceiling to about a metre from the floor. Guess so you can see the view from the bath but offer some screening. Felt it was unnescessary and when going from the bed to the bath room was a bit annoying. Whole room is showing its age, could do with a refresh of carpets and fresh paint. Close to the Famous walking street which is the nightime party area, bit far from the centre of town but still walkable for those that like to stroll. Good views from the roof top bar. Booked last minute and would try somewhere else next time if we go back to Saigon. Overall reasonable for the price.

I am not happy with my stay because of the folllowings:

1. The hotel room is so noisy even until 2:00 am in the morning. The hotel is surrounded by discos and pubs

2. I had mess up with 2 towels and they make me pay for 4 towels. I don’t have any problem to pay and I just don’t want to argue with them.

3. For 5 stars hotel, their service is below average. No mini bar items, poor room service food and its very slow

This was our second choice for a hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help us in anyway. The only complaint I have is the breakfast. When we booked it was included and once we arrived it had changed and we needed to pay. It ended up being $25 per person for a buffet that wasn’t the best. But all in all it was such a great stay. Awesome location too.

This beautiful property was clean, room exceeded our expectations. Turn down service done everyday as well as fresh towels given everyday. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in booking the tours we wanted to do. They went above and beyond cleaning our sneakers when we got soaked in the rain the day before during our Ninh Binh tour. My only complaint would be the mosquitoes tearing me up out in the smoking areas outside of the hotel but mosquitoes love me everywhere. Best thing was that it was walkable to all of the areas we wanted to see like Bui Vien Walking Street & Ben Thanh Market. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Whilst the Buffett breakfast was good with a lot of options, it will be good to have the menu change at least twice a week as my whole 5 days stay was all the same which means the food on days 4 and 5 aren’t as interesting as the first 2 nights because it’s the same menu

On the day we checked in, We had 2 friends came to picked up us at the airport and came with us to the hotel for helping us to carried the luggages. While one stall working with us and another short guy jumped in and said the room is only for 2 person. That was’t a professional service at all, He thought that 4 of us stay in one room and kept our friends ID, but as the rule in Vietnam they couldn’t keep any one’s ID in the day time instead of the night time. Please make the staff working more professional and treat the customers more nicely in the future.

This was our first hotel after arriving in Vietnam and it was amazing! The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help and answer questions was unmatched and very pleasant. They even spoke on the phone when we got calls from Grab drivers and tour guides who didn’t speak English well.

The breakfast was good and catered to most tastes.

There are some design issues in the rooms that may caused minor frustration or injuries, but these are mostly inconveniences.

Overall, highly recommend and would definitely return in the future!
