I would like to leave a message about the people that served me at the rooftop bar, but unfortunately, I lost my card, but there was the bartender and the waitresses and they were phenomenal and I would go back there any day. Best service and kindness people in the entire world so I’m sorry I don’t know their names because I can’t find my paper.

Probably the worst stay experience. The bed sheets had cigarette holes. The floors were dirty and still had black streaks left. Mold in the restroom. Beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. The TV was broken. I am not a high maintenance person but had to check out after one night out of my 3 night stay. The only good thing about this place was probably the rooftop bar and the friendly staff.

I’m not sure you can get a better hotel for the price. This was our second stay at Duc Vuong. Staff is friendly and helpful. I talked to a guy at the front desk. Saw him most mornings and nights. I told him he worked to much! He was very helpful throughout our stay. Good breakfast buffet. Great rooftop bar which sets the hotel apart from other options. People staying at other hotels ended up at our rooftop bar.

I came here ten years ago and still recall how friendly the hotel staff were so I decided to bring my family and my wife's here for 10 days. The staff...again ...was superb, pleasant and friendly. We chose a VIP room but they gave it to us on the Seventh floor which is a floor below the restaurant/bar. Thus it was veryyyyyyyyyy loud. Plus the room was facing the famous Walking Street. So if you are planning to come here and sensitive to loud noises i strongly suggest you to choose a room on lower level and away from the famous walking street. We didnt complain because my kids and wife can sleep though all this noise. Regarding the condition of the VIP room, it was spacious and super clean. No complaint.
Breakfast was quite decent. I just wish some of the staff there were as friendly as the hotel receptionists and door guy. They never said hello or greeted us. But they did work hard to make sure the food was ready and available. So the manager there needs to set as an example for her workers how to be pleasant. If she doesnt smile or say hello, how can you expect her workers to do the same. Fortunately there were three of them that were nice. One complaint...my toddlers cannot drink from a big glass. They wouldnt let me use a toddler friendly bottle to refill it with water. I had to beg for a straw every mornin but that was a struggle as they kept spilling liquids all over their t shirts. Yet the manager and one fella wouldnt budge. Thought it was unfair and sad.

On the positive side they are in a fun location and have a nice rooftop bar and the breakfast in the morning was of decent quality. The layout of the hotel and navigating the elevators is a little odd but I can forgive this. The room was large but the bed and sheets were of poor quality. The hot water for showering was inconsistent. The shower itself was a tub you stand in and it took great care and physical flexibilty on my part to not get water everywhere. The Japanese style toilet functionality was no longer working so it was just a regular toilet. The safe required repair while I was there but this was handled in a relatively efficient manner. Staff was very pleasent and helpful. The postives and negatives leads me to give an overall \"average\" rating for this property.

We were invited to drink on the roof top for buy 2 get 1 free. We went in and saw the name Đức Vuong, which was my family’s business name in US. Everything went smoothly and perfect so we decided to book this hotel. Our room was clean, front desk were very helpful. Most definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

If you want to be in the middle of the \"walking street\", its a great location. Staff were lovely, facilities clean. Breakfast buffet was adequate, nothing special.Sunsets at rooftoo bar were fantastic.. Bed was hard, pillows cheap and uncomfortable. Very noisey at night between people coming back all hours drunk as well as people at rooftop bar.

This is my second stay in this hotel and the reason why I chose to stay again is price and convenience. The hotel is located right at the famous Walking Street. There are lots of restaurants in the area. I availed of their breakfast but unlike the first time that I stayed, I noticed that they have limited choices of food this time. They renovated the Restaurant and so it looks nicer, wider and cleaner this time. Staff as usual are very welcoming and hospitable. Amenities in the room are limited. They have a safe, a mini fridge and a complimentary bottled water. Water heater, airconditioning and wi-fi all works well. Nothing can beat this hotel in terms of location. I will definitely stay again.

Yes it's right on Bui Vien walking street so great of that's what you're after. It was reasonably quiet inside considering the racket outside.

The room is really small -ich smaller than it looks in the pics. Also the shower is awful with the shower head mounted at chest height. It's a 2 star hotel IMO.

Unfortunately, the rooftop bar was not available and undergoing renovations - so I was not able to experience one of the things I was looking forward to experience. BUT I was able to go to the top and get a good view of the surrounding. neighborhood.

The staff at the hotel made my stay really awesome! From the person who was going out of their way to help me with the bags, to the folks that helped with the check-in process. It was an easy and was satisfied.
Even when shifts changed, the people at the front desk were still amazing, (and communicated well in English).

The hotel room amenities were as expected and the room I got was clean. I was not expecting much, but what was offered would suffice.

Overall, I had a great experience and would stay here again.

Very good value for your money. Helpful receptionists, nice Asian self-service breakfast at 8th floor terrace. Room with aircom, 40 Asian satellite tv channels, fridge, safe, hairdrier, wardrobe, lamp on bedside, solid old
furniture, good mattress, new clean towels and sheets. Abundant complimentary toiletries, coffee, teabags and 1 litter of bottle water a day. Kettle. table and seat for laptop. Recently redone functional WC/shower. Good wifi. 2 elevators. Almost at the end of arguably the busiest night parting street in towns, but good sound proofing. Internal restaurant on early stage of renovation.

It's a nice property and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The problem is Expedia never informed me that there is construction going on next door (I mean shared walls that were knocked out), so it was extremely noisy. The staff did their best by moving me to 5 different rooms, but you can still hear banging and hammering no matter where you are in the hotel. I would definitely not stay here until the construction is completed. Other than that, I would stay there again.

Expensive.....bottled water was 5 times price as circle k. couldnt check in early even tho i had requested months in advance. Everything was 4 to 5 times more .staff was good but prices were inflated cost of room was high consdering you could stay literally few hundreds yards away for almost half less.

The hotel is very well located in district 1, close toca lot of options, from indian food to burgers. They have a really good rooftop ,the staff is very frendly and helpful.
The only thing is if u like having a early one don't stay on the 7 floor. He staff told me that but i don't sleep early. So was good .

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this hotel. We come back to this hotel because of the welcoming staff. Very friendly staff and great service. The hotel is in a great location at the quieter end of bui Vien street. Obviously this hotel is not a luxurious hotel so keep that in mind, you’re on the backpacker street. The hotel offers a nice breakfast in the morning and has a great rooftop bar to enjoy the evening.

Great location, at the quiet end of walking street.. we had a room on the first floor and didnt hear any noise! Was also great as could use the stairs up and down without having to wait for the elevator - which can get busy. Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly.

Bathroom could do with an update but otherwise room was great with a huge king bed and very clean. Happy with our choice and would recommend to others. ( we are a couple in our mid 30s).

Duc Vuong hotel puts you in the heart of the tourist area and is a cheap Grab or cab ride to major shopping and tourist sites (note that hailing rides is cheap and less stressful/safer in a car than playing pedestrian frogger across chaotic traffic). The rooftop bar/restaurant was extremely convenient and serves pizza and burgers which was a refreshing option when wanting American food. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The entire staff was excellent as well, from the bellmen, front desk, cleaning, restaurant/bar staff, and the tour desk. They were quick to open doors, hail down cabs, and protect you from the ever-present moped/car traffic. We stayed 7 days and the hotel was able to point us in the direction of laundry and money exchange services. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

The rooftop is awesome and the area is perfect for nightlife and city accessibility. The rooms and bathrooms are a little dated and the staff was not super helpful after I was robbed. My room key was stolen when I was robbed and they charged me to replace the room key and didn't offer to help me make any phone calls to cancel my stolen credit cards.

I stayed here for two nights in early September, situated in the heart of the entertainment district, this Hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. With travel arrangements easily made downstairs, I was able to book flights to my next destination with ease. A special thank you to Charlie, the customer service officer, his enthusiasm in making my stay as comfortable as possible was greatly appreciated, he was an asset to the hotel.

Lovely welcome from staff and refreshing fruit drink on arrival. The room was small and so was the bathroom/toilet the room sleeps 3, we were 2 and we were crowded, saying that who goes to Ho Chi Minh to be in the room. The safe box in the room was reassuring, the shower temperature and pressure were great and free bottled water available. Breakfast was varied and more than adequate, lovely fresh fruit, an egg station, pho, and interestingly dinner type food. My partner has been stew in red wine and said it was delicious.
The location is excellent, however noisy so take ear plugs, walkable to all sights and fabulous eating and drinking on and around the premises. The rooftop bar is a must visit although here the staff were less engaging they are young and hip and we are old so I get this (lol). We did not book tours from the hotel though this is possible. Hotel to airport transfer arranged with no difficulty and again reception staff extremely helpful. We would return and hope to do so.

In the character filled old quarter of Saigon

Our group all felt the hotel was very tired and would not return here. We asked for a refund when we saw the rooms but they could not give us one. The chairs needed cleaning, the towels were often dirty looking. The airconditioner was not working in one room. The front rooms can be noisy from the street noise.
If you are paying a cheap price for the rooms then this place may be good value.
