MACA Villa is truly beautiful. The property common areas are so well maintained, the actual villa we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, most importantly it was quiet. The staff are what makes the stay, they’re so kind, friendly and will bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and memorable - from a surprise birthday cake to a coconut water for a sore stomach.

Maca is an excellent mid price villa in Seminyak. The rooms look exactly like the advertised photos but are about ready for a revamp. It’s wonderful to have your own completely private pool to fall into whenever you want. the hotel is about 30 walk from the beach but it is an interesting and easy journey.

We had an amazing stay at this property! Even though it’s in the middle of Seminyak, the room was super quiet and you felt like very secluded. The size of the room and personal pool were amazing. We stayed at 5 different hotels during our trip to Bali and this was by far the best. Our private pool was nice and cool (thanks to the shade), the air conditioning units worked very fast, the bathroom was huge and really well decorated. The TV in the lounge was great and had access to various streaming apps with the hotel already logged in. We stayed in other rooms with private pools during this trip which didn’t even come close.
There were small gaps in the sliding doors/windows where small insects could get through however this appears to be common in Bali. The gaps were very small and we had gaps 5 x as big in other hotels.

It was great! Everything looked just like the pictures. We were in walking distance of everything. Extra convenient and easily accessible area. The area where the resort was is very quiet but you can get to all the good stuff right down the block. Lots of spas (Re Massage Studio was the best), restaurants, and nightclubs/nightlife. Yoga was very kind and accommodating. All the staff were so friendly and nice. I would definitely go back to this property.

Recommend the cooking class if you choose a relaxing day at the hotel. It’s fun and the food was good. Tons of restaurants and bars and shopping in the area.

The place was very clean, as the staff cleaned the villa twice a day without any request. The outdoor areas and the pool were also well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, from housekeeping to the restaurant. One night, we had a lizard crawl into our villa, which is common on an island. We called the staff at 3 AM, and they were able to remove it in less than five minutes. Whenever we called for room service, they arrived promptly to assist us. The location was quiet, and we hardly saw our neighbors, which provided us with a lot of privacy. If we get the chance, we would definitely visit MacaVilla again.

It’s a very beautiful and peaceful space, with amazing staff however I just had some trouble with insects and ants that kept re-accumulating which made me feel slightly unsettled in the space. I feel like that might be the nature of the space with the beautiful individual pools and open doors. The butler and staff were very quick to attend to it and make it better.

The room was lovely with a private pool and sliding doors that open to the bedroom and living room. There are 3 TVs in the villa which was superb. It was clean and tidy and they offered free breakfast. The restaurant was lovely too. The location was convenient. The only downside was the wellness and spa centre. The hot pool area had an odour to it and looked a little run down.

I could honestly not fault this place, from the moment you arrive you feel welcome and all the staff for our 7 day stay were amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was awesome, the coffee was lovely and we ate 2 other meals there that were also lovely. We were in a deluxe villa which was in good condition and the pool area and outdoor lounge was great. It is about a 15 minute walk to Seminyak central, however there were plenty of good eating and drinking options 5 minute walk away so don’t let that put you off staying here. It was our second time staying here and it will be the place we will always come back to.

In regards to staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Our Villa for example was cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Basically every time we left the property.
Our beds turned down of the evening.
Location of MACA was also convenient. Only a couple of blocks away from the beach and main shopping precinct. We were surrounded by great restaurants.
So overall, I was extremely satisfied with MACA and strongly recommend this property.

Villas are good and spacious. Food is not bad but nothing exceptional. Breakfast is very big. Employees are friendly but overall there is a lack of thoughtfulness that is a bit off putting. For example, I rented a 2br villa for 4 adults and 2 kids and the place is beautiful, and they put in the swimming protection so the kids don’t fall, etc. but the rooms lacked enough towels, breakfast lacked utensils and napkins for 6, and the seating area where breakfast was served only sat 4, so we needed to take turns, which is a bit unpractical. Also a very big rat came to visit me yesterday and that freaked me out but I understand it is common across Bali. Anyway good place but lot of critical thinking missing.

An amazing stay, almost perfect. Maca has 25 villas, we had one near the far end of the resort. Check-in was quick and painless. We were shown to our villa, the features explained, and we were left to relax by the private pool. Decor was contemporary, clean. Bed was very comfy, aircon cold, baths large and shower adequately strong and hot. I didnt use the tub, but it was enormous. The included bfast (a la carte) was huge and offered a wide range. Complimentary snacks and beverages everyday from 3pm to 5pm. My wife n I loved the place and experience. A very minor gripe is that the seating area should be brighter at night to allow reading there. There was the occasional mosquito, but that's probably common in much of Bali. There are several restaurants in the vicinity. Walking about 10 minutes will get you right in the middle of numerous popular and quite upmarket restaurants.
