This is a truly awful hotel and the photos and listing are unacceptably inaccurate. The bedsheets at least appeared to be clean but the rest of the room was disgustingly dirty and looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years - thick dirt on the wooden panelling, layers of grime and soap scum on the shower screen. The safe was not working. The kitchen tap sprayed water everywhere. The fridge made excessively loud ratting noises at intervals throughout the night. I didn’t dare close the bathroom door as the handle was loose and I was afraid of getting locked in. The pool itself was quite nice but the furniture in the photos has been replaced hard wicker loungers The ‘fitness centre’ is a meeting room, complete with table and chairs, and an old exercise bike pushed into a corner. On the first day I went down to find the restaurant and kitchen abandoned and was told to come back at 9:30. At 9:30 there was still no one there and I bought breakfast elsewhere. The listing states it is a 17 minute walk from Seminyak Square but in reality is more than 40 minutes. I was shocked that a property with an average score above 8 could be this poor but on examining the reviews it appears that that most of the positive ones are from 2019 or earlier. If you only take the last few years into account it’s closer to 5, which still feels generous. I left 2 nights into a 7 night booking and have reported the listing to hotels.com as misleading.

Charged me $150 AUS for tattoo stain on sheet and pillowcase absolutely my fault but sheets were already stained so absolutely excessive.

The property is aged. The rooms require some maintenance. Peeling paint, water leak in bathroom from behind wall tiles, the shower doors require some attention. The cleaning staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean.

Unless you advise reception you’ll be in for breakfast daily even if it’s included in your booking, they wont have ready, breakfast we were told was 7:30 to 9:30, but most days it was from 8-8:30am. Room service varies daily, but never available after 4pm. Upon check in you’ll have to pay 200K IDR as a security deposit, make sure you receive a receipt for this, otherwise it may disappear.

All laundry services are external, we used Seminyak Laundry which pickup/drop off. There is no laundry services on site.

Grab services can drop off to the hotel, just not allowed to pick up as local taxis operate in this region. We walked to the nearest Circle K to be picked up, 5 minute walk. Most days Grab rides were approx $3AUD into Legian/Kuta. The earlier the better to beat traffic.

There are a few cafes/restaurants within walking distance. Good Soil Cafe and Eatery is a great spot the staff and food are amazing.

The area is quiet and away from the bustle which is a bonus. Access to pool from ground floor rooms is wonderful, straight from deck into pool.

Worst hotel and filthiest i ever stayed in

Don't stay here it's dirty and unhygienic, booked another hotel as soon as i could wasted my money. The bathroom looked like i had never been cleaned. Blood stains and holes in pillows cases. Mattress was so old that you could feel the innersprings, peeling paint etc

This hotel is not professional hotel.
First, those staffs couldn't speak English as well. I checked in late time and there was only one guy. He couldn't speak English any things so we had to use translation app even when I checked in. And I wanted to get a room in first floor but they said first floor's room is not available without reason.
And i've been hard time when I ordered more toothpaste because he couldn't speak English.
If you guys want to improve your hotel, you guys should speak English better than now. But the room was really clean and swimming pool was alslo great

Great service, pity the location.

If you want to stay at this hotel, please take note of the following:
1. You will need to rent a bike to get around as there is nothing within walking distance but nearest restaurants and bars are a short ride away.
2. Pay for the room at ground floor with pool access, it's probably going to be the only reason you are staying here.
3. Specify that you want the rooms on the left (I think it's room A to C) as it is facing the sun at the pool. Otherwise you will be in the shade for the rest and it would defeat #2.
4. Forget the breakfast, I paid for 3 days of breakfast but only ate it on day 1. Save the money and ride out to get a smoothie bowl at Nalu Bowls nearby.

If you can fulfill the above, you will have a good stay as the staff are really nice and friendly.

Great quiet location

Was great except our power key was removed each day which meant we came home to a hot room and our fridge was always warm.

Tried to book a Scooter and when we came to collect it we were told we would have to wait an hour as staff were using it.

No big deal plenty of options just around the corner.

Housekeeping were superb.

We arrived late for check-in around 2 am and the room was not clean, we found hair on the floor, blood stings on the pillows, and when I wanted to change them, the reception told me that the house keeping finish work at 9 pm. We moved to another room and also it was not clean. The next day yes they changed everything but it wasn't a pleasant experience. You also get 2 bottles of water per day and thats it. You cannot order extra bottles.

Overall nice hotel. Quiet environment. Not that close to the city centre need to get a taxi. The road going to the hotel is very bad due to construction work. Hotel room has a damp old smell and some leaking in the bathroom. Bed & pool was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very basic.

bad luck with this place on bad location

Hotel is not where it shows on the map, but in a much worse side street location no driver would ever find. This was a big problem as i took this hotel believeing it was in Bidadari street which i already well knew. But not its about 15 minutes walk from where it was suppsed to be On a dead end street which is under construction. No shops nearby. A/c wasnt functional it took a technician and 45 minutes to get it work.
Internet was down for two hours after my arrival.
Tv kept switching off ever 15 minutes. Took 3 hour to settle in when it turned out my room had no hot water, The tried to teach me how to use a shower and after 20 minutes they admired there was a problem with the water heater and they moved me to an other room. After all this Next morning i have a commanding reminder 11 30 for my check out. i got 30min extension and phone calls in every minutes beyond that. The front desk has a kind of forced politeness but they are only good to ordr youa taxi and served me a cold tea on arrival. Breakfast is cheap and chearful, but you must be hungry to appreciate it.

Throughout my entire stay here with my girlfriend we really couldn't think of any serious complaints. The only thing that really sets this hotel back is its location, but it is very quiet which my girlfriend and I enjoyed. Our room was spacious enough for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. The staff there are extremely nice and are very willing to help you with anything.

Bad location and outdated

The internet photos were not a true indication of the hotel. I didn't check the location when I booked, that was my mistake. The bathroom was mouldy, the hotel was situated near what looked like a tip and you could not walk anywhere, The location and atmosphere was quite depressing. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I can not fault the and their friendliness. We checked into the hotel, went to another hotel to check their rooms out and my husband and son came back and checked out within a couple of hours. I realize I forfeit the money, but my family and I could not stay in the hotel

Just a step away from the pool

It was wonderful to get the ground floor room and walk straight from the room into the pool. And being able to get into the shower from the pool without walking through the bedroom dripping wet was also great. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Only negative about this hotel is the location, being away from any stores, not even a convenience store nearby that we could see.

Average hotel but ruined by petty extra charge

This hotel was clean but a little out of the way & difficult to be able to walk anywhere. The room was clean and of a reasonable size.
The experience was ruined by reception insisting on a cash deposit - which was odd considering they don't have a mini bar. this was explained as \"in case of breakages\". when the plastic tag on my room key ring broke, they then insisted on charging an \"over the top price\" for it. this was a cheap piece of plastic that would have hardly cost a thing and their insistence despite my protests seemed as an excuse just to raise revenue. never again.

Overall ok but lotta improvements needed. The staff will ask to keep IDR 200,000 as deposit which was not informed to us during booking. Hotel will try their level best to take whole or part of that deposit so pls be very carefull and inform the staff immediately if any concerns with any amenities in the room (on a daily basis if needed) otherwise, you will be responsible for it. The draining system is really bad. When you turn on the shower, there is a bad stench from the bathroom drain. Also we had centipedes and eathworms wriggling out from the drains so we had to constantly keep a watch out whilst taking a shower. Hotel is location is not very good so need a motorbike/cab or if you dont mind walking then, its a good 10-15 mins to the main street. And if it rains heavily, the whole street is submerged in water so cannot walk.

A lovely clean hotel with 50 metre clean pool. Great for lap swimming. The hotel advertises a gym which had 3 machines - 2 of which are broken so they should not advertise having a gym. The lane where the hotel is situated had numerous pot holes and is prone to flooding. My daughter's luggage got drenched and filthy when we walked up the lane to hail a taxi. The hotel is comfortable but lacks atmosphere - nobody asks if you want a drink while lying by the pool, no music and the hotel is out of the way so you need to take a cab everywhere.

Its pretty noisy because of the room doesn't have noise protections. It's a little far from the beach part of Semiyak so if you want to stay closer to those area, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Peaceful experience at the heart of Seminyak

Staffs were friendly, warm, super attentive and prompt. Utilities in the room are well taken care of and assure comfort during stay. We were also especially impressed with the lagoon. Overall we had a very good stay and will definitely come back. Recommend for families and couples.

Boutique style small hotel only two floors and the size of the A/C rooms are huge with kitchen facilities and balcony upstairs. The downstairs rooms open out to a very long pool. We stayed upstairs and give the downstairs rooms a go next time. The hotel is on the other side of Sunset Road which we found difficult to cross on foot as there is no pedestrian crossing. The local dogs know the traffic flow, just follow their lead. The breakfast menu is changed daily and I was quite happy with the selection. You can order eggs to be cooked to your preference. Rooms are cleaned daily. There will be an inventory check before you checkout, so make sure you have your complement of towels and crockery etc and anything else you borrow is returned. They have small selection of novels and dvd's available to borrow during your stay. Staff are very helpful and do their utmost to assist you. Taxis are cheap and you don't wait long for an ordered taxi. We used the metered taxis mostly. The hotel can organise an in-house massage service who will come to your room. My son used this service 3 times. Room service is available and very prompt. Will come back again.

Beautiful, a must stay for Bali

I have stayed in about 10 hotels in Bali so far. This one is definetly the best, staff are great. The hotel is beautiful, pool is large. Great for cooking which is what me and my boyfriend look for in a hotel. An experience in itself, almost booked it again but realised you've got to try new places. Location is about 5 mins from civilisation but rent a scooter from them! Very cheap and nice modern scooter.

The room was clean and comfortable.The hotel seems to be surrounded by private residences and the road leading to the hotel is not well paved.Service was good.The hotel packed us breakfast at our request as we had to leave for the airport really early in the morning.The location was not to our convenience as there were very few shops at a walking distance.

Absolutely Amazing!

Seminyak Lagoon was our first hotel stay in Bali and really set the bar high for the rest of the hotels we stayed at. The pictures don't do it justice and the complimentary breakfast was lovely. It was nice to be picked up from the airport and the hotel staff was anything short of amazing! Sri was such a lovely friend to be made and she was so willing to give us advice and book anything we needed! Highly recommend!

Good hotel but location puts it at disadvantage

Breakfast was average, pool was good and really pretty. The room was spacious and the service was good. Location is a little hard to get to (about 10 mins walk to bigger streets) and was really dark to walk back to hotel at night. Room cleanliness was fine but things like towels and sheets had a few stain spots. Overall a good stay and a good place to rest and relax.

The hotel is a bit of a walk to the main shopping/dining strip, but there's a taxi rank around the corner. Lovely staff, breakfast was really yummy, but room service food could have been improved. Lovely vines everywhere and pool area is nice, lounges need updating but pool is clean and refreshing.

Quite a distance from the centre of Seminyak and the beach but not too far by scooter (if you are game) or taxi. Room was nice, though like seemingly all Bali hotels, the bathroom wasn't as clean as it might have been - the shower really. Still, nice to come back to for a swim and some air-conditioned comfort. Staff didn't speak english very well so that was a bit hard work. Breakfast must have been ok, not memorable as i don't recall what it was.

Lovely staff, clean room

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask for. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. The hotel is out of the main part of Seminyak but the hotel offers a shuttle service or will call a taxi for you (taxi is cheaper). The breakfast and room service menu are limited and not the best quality food but not a problem when you are eating most of your meals elsewhere plus there is a small kitchen in the room if you want to cook your own food.

A lovely smaller hotel with great access to pool just outside your door..
Because of humidity and shower accesses outside its not as mould free as at home..this is to be expected tho..
A fantastic place to relax and only a short ride in taxi over busy sunset rd..
The boys in kithchen keep it sooo beatifuly clean i was impressed. .
Stayed for 2 weeks and would recommend for a relaxing holiday after a hard year at work..

We stayed 5 days at Seminyak Lagoon and enjoyed every moment.
I would definitely recommend the Lagoon suites to any couples who are looking for a delightful and relaxing place to stay.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the pool is awesome, and the room design (especially having access directly from pool to shower) is great.
Yes, you are not in the middle of Seminyak, but taxi's are easy to come by and cost very little.
We will stay here again when we return to Bali.

Nice quiet hotel!

I stayed here for my honeymoon and it was the first time I went overseas by myself. I read all the comments and experiences of this hotel and I wasn't disappointed! Gorgeous hotel with a very relaxed feel, great staff willing to bend over backwards for you and very clean! My next stay I will be sure to book one of the lower suites as they open up directly to the pool. It was close to everything (3 dollar taxi ride) and provided excellent value for money tours that you can book! Buffet breakfast was ok but lacked variety, in saying that it was included so I wasn't complaining :). Overall it was great and would definitely return!

Everything is great about this place, especially the long pool (great for lap swimmers) It was good to make use of the gym and the air con is strong. Very peaceful probably due to it's location - a little out of the main buzz that is Seminyak - so plan to hire a bike while you're there or get taxis often. Not such a big walk but in the heat it can be a bit much. The rooms are large and clean with a huge and comfortable bed.

The staff are always ready to assist you. :)

I wasn't a fan of the breakfast as it's catered to those who prefer hot western style and meat/egg based dishes. Most guests seemed very happy topping up their plates - so if that's your groove, you're good. Health fanatics and veg(an)s will enjoy the fresh fruit, but like in my case take yourself somewhere else, to enjoy a more balanced breakkie.

Pleasant Xmas break

Myself & my partner stayed here for 2 weeks over Xmas and the new year. The staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome which made our stay very pleasant. We booked a lagoon view suite which was nice, we loved being able to step in to the pool from our room. Our bed was made every day and clean towels replenished which was nice but I would not say that our room was the cleanest. Cleaners came in each day to sweep and make bed but I don't think any cleaning products were used once in our bathroom... Apart from air freshener. The pool was clean and great to relax in. We ate out in the mornings for the majority of the holiday which we didnt mind as we did not expect to have breakfast included as the food options were a little odd and not the freshest. Location is not bad, we catched a taxi most days but also walked to seminyak square some mornings which was about a 20-25 min walk. Overall a pleasant stay in Seminyak and would like to thank the staff for making us feel welcome.

Hotel was decent, pool was good, staff were pleasant, friendly and happy to help, breakfast buffet was passable, rooms were decent size but hotel is located in a yet to be developed area on the wrong side of the Sunset Road meaning a cab ride or long walk required to get to cafe's and shops in Seminyak.

A great & comforting hotel. Apart from its secluded location, it gives you a luxurious experience. Although the breakfast menu can be improved on and toileting service for a fresher water should be supplied. Love the pool just outside the room. And staffs are efficacious and friendly. Really nice, well kept place. I think it was a bit further from Seminyak than I expected but I was happy to walk most places. I think the pool and staff service was excellent. My only regret was they had no cocktails on the room service list but that was it!

This hotel is value for money. Rooms are large clean tidy and well set out and include a small kitchen area with cooking facilities. The bathroom is clean and tidy and shower is great with plenty hot water and good pressure. The air conditioning is superb and very quiet. On ground floor rooms access to and from pool can be made direct through shower area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a small l buffet type with eggs anyway wanted. It's very limited selection but adequate and is included in price.
The only con is that the hotel is a bit isolated on a very rough street with no night lighting. But taxis are cheap.

Quiet hotel with helpful staff

We enjoyed our stay at the Seminyak Lagoon Suites. The room was comfortable & clean with all the accessories you would need.
Breakfast was good although fairly basic.
The pool is fantastic & you can literally do laps. I was also pleased that there is a small gym.
The hotel is not within walking distance of Seminyak Square but it was lovely & quiet.

Too far away from things eg food places. Cafe at Hotel terrible. Had to catch Taxis every day. Disappointing as I was here to relax before my friends wedding.

Comfy hotel with exceptional service from staff

Seminyak Lagoon was an absolute pleasure to stay at. It was my partners and I first accommodation we stayed at in Bali. The room was clean and tidy with a massive king bed & a balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful & made it a great stay. The breakfast and room service was also quite good & the price was fantastic!

This is our 2nd time staying with Seminyak Lagoon; and still loving it as much. Although its location is about 15mins walk away from the main street, but we enjoyed the walk. If you are wondering which room type you should opt for, I suggest, go for the Lagoon room :)))

Superb service, ambience and utilities

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool accessible from your hotel room and its directly linked to your shower room. Spacious. Breakfast is great. Even have 2 iMacs at the lobby area for use. High speed free WIFI in room and hotel.

Dive in from your door!

A beautiful hotel- clean, well-maintained and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. But the highlight was having a pool literally at our door- just a small deck between the door and the water. Would recommend to anyone visiting Seminyak.
Was just outside of town (a little too far to walk) but a taxi ride cost around AUD$1.50-$3

the room was exactly as in their photos. i had a lagoon room with direct access to the pool, which was lovely. Only problem with this hotel is that it is a little bit too far from the centre of Seminyak. Having said that, it will only cost you au$2-$3 for a taxi.

The location is a bit out of the way, but still within a reasonable walk to shops/cafes. And reception can call a taxi which always comes very quickly and its cheap/quick to get to lots of places.
Staff were fantastic. Always warm and friendly.

We visited the place from Singapore. It was a small and neat place. Rooms are pretty much same as photographs displayed. Beds were clean. The bathing towels were a touch yellow, though the beach towels were relatively new and clean and could be used in lieu. Breakfast was the same with just about enough options for one to get his fill, though was of decent quality. Room service menu was quite small, we ordered only once, and food quality and taste was decent.

One major drawback: location. Cannot walk to Seminyak mkt or for that matter anywhere meaningful. Either cab it or rent a car as we did.

Overall: If you are looking for a 5 star type resort with lot of amenities within, then No. If you are looking for a decent place to crash in the night, with reasonably close proximity to the centre of the city (5-10 mins drive to Seminyak mkt), then this is it!

Hotel a bit out of Seminyak ...staff happy to call taxi cost $3-$5 into seminyak square.
Swimming pool and surrounds very picturesque. Staff helpful and pleasant , breakfast adequate.
There is a bit of building going on in area ... You cannot hear it in the hotel.

Hi, we had the best time at this hotel, but unfortunately no shopping around and had to get taxis to restaurants in Seminyak, but only $2.50au into main street, about $4.00 au into Kuta, and apart from breakfast and room service think they should have restaurant open for dinner and more variety in meals. but for a quiet time and relaxing was perfect, ,

Absolutely fabulous hotel

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Excellent sized rooms, very elegant. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Nice TV and internet facilities in the room. Lovely kitchen and shower room. Ground flour rooms are fabulous, access to the pool area from the room. Very quite location. Excellent and helpful staff, especially kitchen staff whom provided on request delicious vegetarian food. Excellent buffet breakfast, wide variety of food. Only negative have to get a cab to the beach, however restaurants and shopping area are about 10 minute walk. Also quite a few Mosquitos in the dinning area and reception, however rooms are equipped with mosquito repellents.

Seminyak lagoon is tucked away from the busy streets of seminyak. Since we had hired a driver to bring us around for our first stay in Bali the location wasn't much of a hassle for us. That said, you could still walk to the main road or get the staff from the hotel to hail a taxi on your behalf.

It's a relatively new place, and for the price paid there wasn't anything I could complain about. Breakfast was on the simpler side, but sufficient since we were keen to try more local food outside of the hotel anyway. Only thing was we missed out on the lagoon suites which would have been even better since it allows direct access to the pool from the room.

Good small Hotel

We had a nice stay here for 4 nights, it is clean and comfortable.The location is a little walk from the main drag of seminyak but we had a motor bike so it didn't matter. The breakfast a basic so we only had breakfast elsewhere which are very cheap.

Seminyak Lagoon All Suites Hotel - Great!

Seminyak Lagoon All Suites Hotel is a beautiful new Hotel. The staff are excellent and helpful. The pool is great, gym is small but ok if you want to have a basic workout. Breakfast was sufficient and nutricious. There are two computers for guests to use the internet.

I loved the Hotel, and enjoyed the 10 minute walk into Seminyak shops each day. This may be a little too far for guests who don't like walking through back streets in hot weather. The Hotel is a little out of the way, but the daily walk allowed me to experience the local area

My 7 days stay at the Hotel was excellent value and I was impressed with the helpful and polite staff.
