Four stars is a big stretch. Three at best. The hotel was heavily discounted, but not worth it at full price. It was dirty and run down. Plenty of affordable options in Bali. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Good but with problems

The hotel, the rooms, the swimming pool and the stuff are correct, but you have to be careful with the mafia in the parking lot.
We asked for a taxi and a person without documentation and in front of the security guard and the kids, told us in a very rude way he couldn't enter because only they could enter and pick up customers.
I don't understand how a hotel can allow this kind of mafia that, at least for our part, have ruined the experience and I don't think we'll ever come back.

Very noisy - only spent one night as due to fly to the airport but was extremely difficult to sleep as the room is not sound proof at all. Could hear noise outside the balcony with loud children until 11pm and could hear noise through front door until the same time. Wouldn’t stay again even for one night and would not recommend staying for a long period as I imagine sleep would be impossible.

Not a great hotel. Should be 2 or 3 stars not 4. Staff were great and freindly.
Breakfast was not great at all very basic and little variety.
Rooms were outdated, old and aircon was not effective.
Location is fine however it depends what you are looking for in Bali, Kuta may be a better location for you than Seminyak. Transport is cheap but hotel isn’t near much activities and things to do. They are not walkable from this hotel.
Hotel is very close to airport.

We stayed here from the 11 to the 23 October, we were expecting a quiet relaxing stay. Boy were we in for a big surprise.

We were given a ground floor garden room initially room 5083. The room was nice enough although very basic, however I agree with other comments that they are small, but strangely there were no wardrobes or drawers so nowhere to unpack, only 3 hangers on a bracket on the wall. So we were living out of our suitcases.

However, the biggest issue was the noise starting daily from 6am it was just terrible. We complained to reception and after some time they moved us to the 5th floor to room 5557 as they said it would be quieter there.

It was marginally better but not much, the issue is the hotels pool which is in the middle and people can go swimming from early morning to late at night and the location of it acts as an amplifier as half the rooms look onto it. Add to this you have the restaurant next to the pool so you get the added noise from breakfast from 6am, plus the hotel is popular with Asian people who are not very quiet and love to bang doors in the middle of the night and like to talk very loudly at all times as well. To add to this the corridors have tiled floors so this compounds the noise levels even more.

We were constantly complaining to reception about this who seemed powerless to do anything about it, there is CCTV everywhere so I find it strange that the noise makers could not be identified and it addressed. There have been many previous

Nice but noisy

Towels and bedsheets are dirty, lots of loud noise either music or people talking. Hotel doesn't allow grab car.

Shops and beach are within walking distance if you don't mind the walk. Overall if you just need a cheap place to sleep while in Bali, it's ok.

Not a great choice..service not great- with few staff not being able to explain info at check in,or how to get to main shopping areas- breakfast terrible- stale bread- not fresh- catered mainly for asian guest...restaurant- icecreams off- rooms- showers filthy (yep moved rooms- still bad)- bins dirty- bed hard as a rock- flat pillows..and japanese guests allowed to.scream up and down hallways at night and in lobby where u can hear everything- not great at 10pm at night- management didnt consider noise factor for other guests. Location not close to anything- shuttle service should be more avail to take you into.seminyak main st at least. Not accomodating.very cheap hotel in every way..spend a touch more and its worth it.

Would not stay here again. Although it is fairly close to the beach about 15 minutes on scooter. The staff were very rude and did not care to help out. We were in Bali on silent day so had to stay at the hotel and have dinner here, while we were having dinner the waiter kept asking if he could bring out the bill... mid dinner. Couldn’t wait till we were done with dinner. We were also denied our two hour late checkout saying “the hotel was fully booked” until we asked to speak to the manager and suddenly the hotel became available. The guests at the pool were extremely loud and could here them in our room up until midnight. Definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Not the worst hotel but not the best. We were woken up every morning and night by other guests and this was not managed well, the pool does not get much sun if any and the gym is literally 3 machines in a 3x3 room. Just a basic affordable option, you get what you pay for.

Not bad for an overnight stay

We stayed for a week, after getting a mystery deal for a four/five star motel. it was definitely not either of those although the room was mostly clean was in need of an up grade which seemed to be happening all around us from early morning to dark. The bus loads of tourist staying at all times did not help, the dining room is open at six a.m., and of course the echo of early morning diners bellowed throughout the whole establishment. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis but the towels smelt strongly of mould. The bed was not very comfortable which added to the lack of sleep.

Amazing experience. Service was very good. Hotel Location is great next to balli deli, ATM, Seminyak Market. Seminyak beach is far away though. Few things that can be easily fixed such as pest control in rooms, broken tiles in hotel corridors and little bit scrub on shower floor.

Cheap, clean and good hotel. Wouldn't get a pool view room on the first couple of floors, due to how loud it gets with the communal areas etc, can't fault it otherwise.

Hotel not so far away as first impression

When I first arrived I thought this hotel is away from everything but soon learned of back exit door which takes you to many shops both food and market style. There's a convenience store across the street which is handy for drinks and snacks. I didn't buy my sim card from airport as I did last year as it was 300,000 Rp $30 Australian I bought it around the corner from the hotel which was on left street at traffic lights for 75,000 Rp $7.50 Australian. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful some of them didn't speak much English but I didn't speak any Indonesian so who am i to say.Room was nice clean and comfortable for the first week but I found bed uncomfortable the last 2 days not sure why.Food at breakfast was Indonesian style but I use to ask for eggs and bacon and had no issues they were only to happy to make it. If I went to Seminyak square I used Uber which was very cheap less than $2 Australian. I used Uber to take me to the airport which was 39,000 Rp $3.90 Australian. It cost me 80,000 Rp after negotiating a price at airport I printed off official price before leaving Melbourne and showed them it was 60,000 Rp. The Taxi desk at airport wanted 200,000 Rp $20 for what should of been $6 I got it for $8 and was too hot and tired to worry about $2 and didn't want to buy sim card to get Uber as card price was much more. If I used a taxi I used bluebird taxi's and used the meter on taxi. There are a lot of copy cat taxi's that look like bluebird so look closely

Hotel was enough for what we were after. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony however this was on the pool side, and because the hotel was busy when we were there, it was very noisy in the evenings. Sound travels upwards. The outdoor patio was located just below our room also so we could hear everyone's conversations. It took calls to the front desk around 11pm and 12am to ask them to move the guests elsewhere. The breakfasts weren't totally satisfying (not much variety) and it went from good at the start of the trip to quite disappointing by the end. (The food besides breakfast left a lot to be desired also). If you're thinking relaxing by the pool when it's quiet and getting service, forget it! There were three staff members at the bar near the pool and each time we wanted a bowl of fries or a Bintang, we had to get up and and walk to the bar. There was a staff member sitting on the floor when I got to the bar and two others standing around, rather than trying to make more money by coming up to us and asking if we wanted another drink! (This was a common theme not just in our hotel but outside as well, everywhere is overstaffed and they're just standing there not knowing what to do). They would come around and leave the empty bottles on our table! Across from our room someone left a glass outside their door and it was there for three days!! And when you ask for a pair of scissors from the front desk, you will receive a sharp razor from a Stanley knife instead!

Comfortable Room but VERY noisy

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, in terms of hotel service, I was pretty satisfied. Room and hotel environment are very clean and quite comfortable. Location is very strategic, very close to restaurants, shopping area, and most other recreational area, although it comes with its negative aspect (more on that later).

One thing I was quite upset about is that this hotel is located right along Sunset Road, which is a main road in Bali, and I was unfortunate to get a room which faces directly to the road. It gets really really noisy noisy, so I hardly got any sleep. Plus, there is a construction currently going on right across the hotel, and so there was drilling sound in the morning.

I stayed for two nights with a friend and was mostly not in the hotel, and I didn't use the hotel facilities (swimming pool, etc.) so cannot comment on those. Other than that, if you choose rooms that are not facing the road, I think this hotel gives your value for money.

Pleasant hotel in excellent condition

Good spot for commuting in and out so you miss the Jl Legian traffic jams. Rooms are large and kept very clean by obliging staff. A large number of domestic tourists which means you might want to give the breakfast bar a miss which is fine as there is a large number of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Can get a bit noisy in the am as the pool is virtually enclosed by the building and some parents let there kids loose...........with no care for other guests. We also had some police from Jakarta (escorting dignitaries) who thought starting their Harley s and revving them with sirens on would increase the size of their manhood....it doesn't.

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel as a couple and we enjoyed our stay.Location of the hotel is perfect for who don't like crowd and bit far from the market. Every time we have to catch taxi to go to the shops and restaurants but its just cost $3-4. The very first day of our stay we hired a bike but it didn't worked out for us.You need a international DL which we were not aware of. Please check registration certificate before you hire a bike because people makes you fool. The number on the plate and the one on the RC were totally different and we caught by police and paid fine for it.The hotel staff is very helpful and can do anything to give you best service. They have to do a pest control often so many tiny mosquitoes and flies in the room. Rest of the stay was pleasant and lovely.

The hotel itself was decent , strategically located to anywhere that worth visiting.

However, as decently nice as it was, the hotel has a problem in its noise control. The hotel has a pool and a lounge area in the middle of the hotel that was surrounded by rooms. It made it hard to have a quiet, relaxing moment in the room without hearing water splashes and loud chattering outside, it went well into the night and wee morning when breakfast starts.

Service was good, they were quick in respond to any requests needed. The air conditioning in the room broke but they were generous enough to give us a suite upgrade.

All in all, if you don't mind the noise level, it was quite a nice hotel to stay in.

To be fair, when you have stayed at the Ananya resorts for 5 nights and then move to this hotel, it does appear as being basic - more so as you are spoilt at the former! But, this is a simple business hotel with the basic facilities ticked. A better breakfast layout would help - though the live eggs counter is a reliable fall-back anytime! Was here for a day, the best part was the vicinity of the shopping and beaches from the swiss- belinn

Okay for the price, but do not expect too much.

I booked two rooms; one room with one king-size bed and the other with two single beds. When I got to the hotel, I was given two rooms, both with one king-size bed. When I asked to change one of the rooms, the hotel insisted that they prepared rooms as I requested and there were no spare rooms. I eventually get the rooms as I wanted, but only after wasting 20 mins or so.
