It was a great experienced . The customer services are superb. Especially to Arini & Mr Lapu lapu”Aris”.The Villas itself are superb although looks historic in style.Definitely, I will comeback to stay again if I will travel to Indonesia .Food, spa , place for me 5star.

The room was lovely, though a little old. Apart from one lovely young girl at front service was 3 star, definitely not the 5 star service advertised. Location is good, breakfast small and to a poor standard and charged alot for a sub standard latte if you didn't want Bali coffee (like mud, not what you get on street). We ended up walking to other villas for a cooked breakfast with buffet and as many lattes and juices you wanted for the price of a couple of lattes each at Wallas. Mosquito's bad and only treated on request unlike other villas we've stayed at which fumigate once or twice a day. Nice, but definitely not a 5 star experience if that's what you're looking for!

What a great place to stay! From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, the staff were wonderful, attentive and courteous.
The rooms were beautiful and cleaned and reset every day - we were always asked for permission if we were going out for the day.
The food was delicious and the on site spa was great, and reasonably priced.
Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable! We would definitely recommend Wolas!

The rooms were beautiful, we had a 2 bedroom villa with kids and it was perfect. The kids loved the pool. We had breakfast every morning in the restaurant which was nice. We had room service for dinner which was also nice with some Indonesian items to choose from. The staff at Wolas booked a day tour to Ubud which was very enjoyable, it was a big day but really nice to see. We were very well looked after by the staff at Wolas and would highly recommend to anyone going to Bali.

Staff are very friendly and keen to assist. Breakfast was a little underwhelming. Other options nearby. Late check out offer not really available as you basically pay for half day as opposed to say a 2pm checkout but that may just have been my experience. The property could do with a freshen up as it’s starting to look tired. Rooms kept very clean by great housekeeping team and overall I enjoyed my stay!

Made an honest mistake at booking which I realised in seconds. Management unsympathetic as this is non refundable. Only one coffee sachet and one teabag provided per person. Stingy considering the price. Would have expected unlimited tea and coffee. Staff very pleasant.

My husband and I took our son and stayed 11 days at Wolas Villas and Spa.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left I could not find a single thing to complain about.
The accomodation was fantastic, the services in the Spa was lovely, we had a couples package and enjoyed every moment of the 3 hour package.

The Staff are what made this holiday special for me.
Every single staff member made us feel so welcome, they were always ready to help and nothing was to much for them.
From helping you navigate Bali, to making sure you always had mozzie coils burning out side.

We will absolute be staying there next visit

Overall it was a great experience. The royal villa for 2 was perfect with a beautiful pool and outdoor area. There was options for breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely massage included. The roome could do with maintenance in some areas, but that doesnt interfer with a quiet lovely stay.

The property is in a good location neighborhood with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It’s not close by the busy traffic area. The resort is well maintained and manicure all surround it. The staffs were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Only minus side were a bunch of mosquitos and the resort restaurant had limited food options on the menu.

This is an older property a few blocks away from the main strip in Seminyak and about 30 minutes walk from the beach. The property is showing a bit of age but it is more like patina in this case. The villas them selves are very spacious with a large bedroom/bathroom area and then a spacious living, dining and kitchen area next to your own nicely sized private pool. There is a small spa on site which offers a good variety of treatments at very good rates and a nice restaurant which serves lots of choices for food and drink. The staff are the true standout, truly lovely people customer service taken to the next level. We will certainly stay here again if the we have a chance.

We just loved our villa suite with private pool at The Wolas Villa & Spa. The atmosphere is so romantic with the fallen plumeria flowers floating in the pool and emanating a soft fragrance. The service, spa and restaurant was also very good.

This property is small but feels roomy due to the fact it’s all villa style with private luxurious pool. The bedroom is huge, the bath has shower and garden tub. There’s even an outdoor rain shower set among beautiful greeneries. All rooms have view of the lush outdoor including the room with the toilet. The people are especially nice and accommodating. The included breakfast was fantastic and NOT a buffet. I wished we could have stayed longer…

The Villas are excellent, spacious, open plan, centered around a luxury private pool, a perfect magical retreat. The staff are incredible, looking after your every need, nothing is too much trouble, from soting out day trips to, grabbing that extra cup of coffee. They make the place. a good location, 25 mins walk to the beach, 5 minutes to town. We eould certainly go back.

The Wolas is a beautiful place aesthetically. However, the culture of the hotel is to nickel and dime you. They charge for everything, including getting the pillowcase wet after a shower. There are mosquitoes everywhere and the spray they gave did nothing. My husband got another spray from the Indomaret and we finally reduced the mosquitoes in our room. When we returned after a day out and they cleaned, we returned to a swarm of mosquitoes. We decided to stay elsewhere for a few days just to get away from the mosquitoes. For the price, you are not getting what you should be getting for the area. Also, on our last day, our safe suddenly turned off which caused a panic as our passports and my engagement ring were inside and our flight was in a few hours. In short, stay elsewhere.

The staff is excellent. Additionally the rooms were clean, but the bed was a bit hard for me.

We purchased the package; one bedroom suite and daily floating breakfast. We also received spa discount which we took advantage of.

The only con was I wished the ground had more decorative items and amenities. So renting the villa was all that you get along with breakfast and discounted spa.

We absolutely loved the space in the one bedroom Villa. Pool was awesome. Staff so lovely and always happy to see you. Had the room decorated for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, they did a great job. Candle light dinner for two was very romantic as well. Great breakfast. The villa was amazing ! Felt very new and modern. The pool is the perfect size and the outdoor area was perfect to get some work / reading in as it was so cozy. The bed is so so comfy and big as well. The shower is a really good size but the pressure and temperature kept changing by itself. Definitely needs more lighting in the bathroom as it was really hard to see at night or if it was overcast but overall the bathroom was very spacious and they provide a bunch of amenities. The staff were AMAZING and we will definitely be back!

The matress was very hard and impacted sleep time.
I ordered a hotel taxi to pick us up from the airport, however there was a miscommunication at the hotel end, and wasnt there. I called up a d the hotel promptly dispatched a driver. There was a waiting time.

I stayed at the Wolas Villas with my wife and 4 year old for 13 nights. It was a fantastic stay made even better by all of the staff who are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They simply couldnt do enough for us and we are so grateful. The villa is beautiful, clean and quiet. It had all of the amenities we required to enjoy our stay. The breakfasts were excellent and tasted fresh everyday. We ate lunch and dinner a couple of times and that was also fantastic. We arranged transport to and from the airport which was so easy and reassuring directly with Wolas. Overall a fantasic stay and would highly recommend.

Staff are very hospitable and service is excellent. Restaurant is very good and the villas are luxurious. Good location with a lot of tourist places a short taxi ride (or use the free shuttle from the villas) away.
Convenience stores and a few good restaurants a short walk down the road.
The spa on site is well worth it.

The stay was exceptional in every sense. From the staff who served us from head to toe accommodating every tiny detail and request. Always patient and kind. Aristana was an amazing host and the employee of the year that’s a fact as he attended to every request quickly and promptly and above all always exercised kindness and laughter. Every need was taken care of and everyone always made us feel happy and safe. The villa was absolutely stunning, warm and cozy! It was everything and more than we have hope for. We loved our stay at Wolas! From the pickup at the airport all the way through to our departure, staff were the friendliest i have come across. The willingness to help at any time 24 hours a day is amazing.
We loved our villa, it was spacious clean and comfortable. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast was lovely every morning and bought to our villa always on time when we requested.

Bring your mozzie spray though as you will get bitten outside (probably dependant on weather)

Nourriture correcte , belle établissement mais vieillissant, beau volume , villa A103 trop près de la route à notre goût.
Il doit y avoir de meilleurs emplacements plus calme .
Nous recommandons l’endroit, nous avons passé un super séjour , merci à Anom le réceptionniste pour son extrême gentillesse, serviabilité et conseil .

People come to Bali because it offers a luxury experience without having to spend a small fortune. This property probably was really nice at one point, but has since been in need of repair, paint, and some updating. The pictures advertised are not the current condition of the property. Overall it was ok and even though the surrounding neighborhood looks rundown/abandoned, we never felt unsafe. The staff is friendly enough and there is an excellent restaurant across the street from the property. Please do not expect to have breakfast at 7 am as advertised, most of the staff arrives at this time so you might get breakfast around 7:40 at the earliest. The pool in the villa is nice but is not well lit at night and can become cluttered with leaves because they are not cleaned daily. For the price I would not stay at this property again unless it was renovated. It is close to seminyak square and bustling nightlife, and crowded beach.

The Wolas Villa & Spa did not disappoint. From the lobby to the walkway to my villa (No. 018) to the Villa itself, everything was stunning! The Villa comes with a private pool which is amazing and surrounded by lush greenery. There is also a massive outdoor living space complete with couches, tv, dining table and full outdoor kitchen. The Villa inside was also great. Includes an indoor and outdoor shower. I loved every minute of my stay. Was very peaceful and relaxing. Booked with breakfast included and it was delicious each day. The Wolas provides very personal service which I appreciated. All staff are extremely friendly and attentive to your needs. The property arranged airport transfer (Additional charge, but worth it) and they helped me get a driver to take me around for the day. I would definitely stay at The Wolas again when I return to Bali.

An absolute dream! Our favourite stay in Bali!

This was our favourite stay in Bali. Our one bedroom villa was very spacious, lots of amenities inside and outside, beautiful pool in which you can actually swim as it is 1.5 m and flowers falling into the water, it was a dream we actually felt super sad to leave this place!! The location is quite convenient with restaurants and super markets close by and only a 10 mins ride to Double Six beach which is wonderful for sunsets. The staff was fantastic, they made our stay really confortable and made sure our villa was always spotless. The only suggestion I have would be to improve the breakfast options, make it healthier and organic, at least replace the box juice with a smoothie or a natural fruits juice.

My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful villa for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We highly recommend The Wolas Villas & Spa if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Make sure to download the Gojek app prior to arriving in Bali for the most affordable transportation option!

The staff, the breakfast options, the size of the villas was superb. If you have any special request, just send them an email before your arrival.

We experienced eating at the restaurant for dinner one evening. The food was good but a bit too expensive for what it was. We tried to not be too put off by the price because we enjoyed our dinner while watching traditional Balinese dancing. A tip would be NOT to buy into the special 3-course dinner packages on entertainment nights and just eat from the regular menu.

If you are after the affordable dining options that everyone raves about in Bali, we recommend eating at \"Warung Batavia\". It's located just a 2 minute walk down the road from The Wolas. We never experienced Bali belly during our trip.

As for a negative, I would say I wasn't as happy with my spa experience. The massage itself was amazing but the room where the massage happens needs improvement to be more in line with the standard of the rest of the place. The jacuzzi was in a horrible condition, therefore, I didn't even bother using the flower bath apart of my spa package. I would only recommend a standard massage, not a spa package until they make improvements.

Really disappointed with the Wolas Villas. Perhaps my wife and I were spoiled by the first resort we visited in Ubud, but we really were hoping for better. Everything looks great on the surface, but there were many frustrations. 1. The bathroom did not seem very clean; the toilet was disgusting looking. 2. the directory in the villa had all sorts of bad information and needed updating. 3. Our villa was never promptly cleaned, even after requesting it from the front desk. 4. The restaurant/bar seemed constantly out of things that were listed on the menu. The most frustrating part is we picked this place, despite the location being sub-par, because of how nice it looked and all the wonderful reviews. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience as others.

Overall assessment of resort and hotel

The hotel itself was excellent overall .
It was however located quite a distance from the beaches .
We walked to the beach on the first day and it took over an hour and a half--but crossing roads e.t.c.was risky and we did not walk again.
WiFi was variable.
The roads were solid with traffic with very high levels of motorcycles ,which were also driving on the paths because of the high congestion and air quality was very poor from the exhaust emissions--and continuous noise levels of the engines was extreme .
Once at the beaches, the access roads behind them were solid with parked motorcycles .
Care had to be taken with taxi drivers who were continually attempting to charge up to 4 times a fair fare.

Hotel is dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. The decking areas around the pool are sunbeaten and full of holes. The towels and sheets used to be white. We stayed 7 days and our sheets were not changed once. Not great given the humidity. We sent clothes out for washing and they came back filthier then they went out and all had been shrunk.

Staff very friendly. Villa was great, except that some of the doors were hard to open - need servicing. Villa not that close to main centre - 30 mins walk/30 - 40,000IDR by taxi ($3 - $4 AUD). We had a great time. One day our driver took us north to Ubud & lakes Beratan & Buyan (beautiful & green) & another day south to Jimbaran Bay & Ulawatu (very rocky area with great cliff top views - be prepared for long drive back to Seminyak - one Road in & out - it took 2 hrs Sunday night to get back to villa 7 - 9pm). Another day we spent in Kuta. The other days spent shopping & eating in Seminyak. All in all a great holiday - plenty of sun, heat, shopping, sightseeing, eating & drinking.
