Great place to stay.

Our experience started with our late arrival of two oclock in the morning where we were greeted, signed in and luggage delivered to our room with a general tour of the room facilities.

Communication was excellent with breakfast order choice, time and delivery.

Also, room cleaning was daily or when required with water resupply.

All enquiries were dealt with expediently and courteously.

We had two extended day trips with their recommended drivers and were very happy with the service given.

Overall this was a great place to stay, nice and quiet, safe, courteous friendly staff in a central location. The breakfast was good quality. I will book this place again on my next Bali stay.

The staff are just amazing. From start to finish, all of the staff, from reception to the restaurant (which provided the wonderful daily breakfasts) to the staff who looked after our villa with the daily cleaning and make-up of the villa, were just wonderful!! I can't recommend this place enough.

Loved our stay.

The staff at Seminyak Icon were so friendly. The communication was clear and via WhatsApp which made it convenient as an international traveller. The location is great as it’s on a quiet street and away from the hustle and bustle yet an easy walk to the Main Street. The villa is spacious and the pool was a great size.

2 days in the villa

Our first impression was the villa did not look clean. After we settled down, we agreed the bedroom is clean except the toilet seat cover needs to be changed as there were yellow stains. I did feedback to the staff as well. The doors need to be vanished and pool needs a deep clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. AC & water is powerful & hot enough. The staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast is decent except latte is really weak for a coffee drinker. I requested for a stronger latte the next day but I think they did not understand. Lastly, it is located at the back of the busy road (approximately 300 metres) making it dangerous to walk alone in the dark alley at night. The villa does not provide mosquito repellent in the mosquitoes infested villa, pls get one before arrival. Mosquito coil provided after 6pm is not good enough unless u wrapped yourself up.

Stayed here for 5 days, and what a stay we had!

Service here is excellent, beyond excellent, and if not for fantastic service, our stay would not have happened. Ms Kurnia and her colleague went out of their way to make this stay possible for us. They worked some magic for which we are truly grateful.

Communication was easy, fantastic English. During our stay, WhatsApp texts allowed for us to place our teatime and breakfast orders no matter where we were. This is extremely convenient.

Some breakfast and tea time items were a hit, some much less but there's good food all around Bali anyway.

Dining aside, the villa itself was spacious, the pool did not feel extremely cold even in rainy weather and the bathroom was spacious!

Overall, great location, great villa, and more importantly, absolutely fantastic service! Thank you so much, Ms Kurnia and your friend, who helped us make this stay possible!

On 22/1 the whole villa did not have water from 9:00 until 4:00pm (6hours). Staff could only say it was fixing without any contingency plan provided.

The toilet bowl in one of the rooms was leaking causing extremely terrible smell filled in the whole room. Everyday we complained and the staff came and tried to fix but in vain. No room was offered to change. They just covered the smell by spraying room refresher. Not acceptable at all. When asked for senior management attention, the staff said she was on CNY holiday and not in Bali.

Just stayed here for 4x nights, Villa was nice and private and very quiet. Communications is done over WhatsApp which is convenient but someone is at reception if you don’t have WhatsApp. Breakfast was nice with a few choices, private pool was nice and clean, free transport to the square twice per day is also good although taxis are not too expensive. The square and beach is around a 20 minute walk away, there are some local convenience shops near by.

Would certainly stay here again!

Our stay here was a 8/10. The staff there was extremely nice and lovely and they made us feel very comfortable. They provided us with the best recommendations and they always communicated with us for breakfast, tea, or anything we needed to know. Seminyak was our favorite city to visit in Bali and the hello action of the hotel was just perfect. The only thing I would say was not the best experience was having different room/section for the living room/bathroom. It was annoying to leave the bedroom area to then go outside and open another door for the living room/kitchen. Overall good experience and we enjoyed the floating tray breakfast. The staff there really made our experience memorable.

The combination of a pleasant private pool, good room service and a separate lounge area found us spending more time relaxing in our 'mini villa' than exploring the island. The included afternoon tea was to a standard only to be found at hotels such as the Ritz in Piccadilly. If you are looking for a peaceful, worry free stay the Icon is hard to beat.

Spacious, clean and very private villa.

The Seminyak Icon offered us all the modern conveniences and more. The privacy and courtesy of staff was by far the best I've ever come across. The food was exceptional, the complimentary breakfast and high tea was fantastic. The bed in our one bedroom villa was comfortable.and the staff were there to help every step of the way. I would definitely go and visit again. This made my Bali holiday that much more of an experience.

Great stay at the Seminyak Icon

The hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Once I booked the hotel I got confirmation and also booked the complimentary shuttle pick up at the airport. The villa itself was great with our own private pool. The room was clean and spacious. The beds are so comfortable! The afternoon tea and breakfast in our room each morning was a great little touch. Staff at the hotel even organised a shuttle to take us to Seminyak Square free of charge. There are a few nice little restaurants within walking distance just be aware that the road is quite dark but a torch is provided in the room for you to use. Loved our stay at the Seminyak Icon.

If you want complete privacy.. Hide in your own villa... Relax by the private pool and don't want to see anyone else around then YES this is the place.

Location : located in a quite street so you may feel disconnected. It is 5-10 min walk from busy legian shopping street and 20-30 min walk to 66 beach.
Free Shuttle service is available but limited availability.

Villa : exactly what you see in the photos and virtual tour. Clean and Room service is one of the best. Every time you go out they organise your room.
Pool is deep 1.25-1.5 m and long enough for a swim.

Food : breakfast had limited choice as well as a la carte menu. But prices are very reasonable comparing with restaurants in Seminyak.
High tea is amazing. +++

Staff : very friendly. Always smile and greet you. Almost all the places we visited we experience this. Bali people are very friendly.

Mini bar is free so what is in there you can consume without a cost.

Negatives

As lot of people mention in the comments villa had 3 keys and sliding doors were a struggle to lock.

Lighting in side the bedroom and bathroom was not good enough. Felt very dull and dark at night.

Bathroom was bit smaller and commode to close to shower glass. When you sit your legs hits on the glass so have to sit side ways.

Bed was not comfortable. We complained and they tried their best to help but for this level of villa that mattress was not very comfy.

Towels looks very old.

Quiet, safe, private villa

We were collected at the airport by a driver from Seminyak Icon and bypassed the other passengers who were haggling with taxi drivers. Something you don't need after a long flight.
Arrived to find our room ready and staff waiting to greet us, every step of the way. Breakfast and High Tea are included and both of very good standard.
We've been given a late checkout as our flight doesn't leave until 11.15 pm.
Excellent service all round!

It was the first hotel we stay in on our Honey Moon.
The staff was amazing, very friendly and provided great service.

we had 2 problems, the first one in the Pool lighting, i don't know why but during our 3 nights stays, they kept the light on in the pool only the first night, after that they started turning it off, I called them to turn it back on and they did for 10 minutes and turned it back off (2 times).
the other problem is that there is no water in the hot tub, Only in the shower, so the hot tub was useless....

They had their chef come in quite early and prepare my delicious breakfast before the usual time, as I had to leave for an early morning flight . It as clear that they will do whatever they can to make a guest delighted with their stay and leave with a smile.

We had the best experience staying at Seminyak Icon.

Location is great - the main street to Legian/Seminyak is a 2 min walk from the hotel. From the main street you can access the villa through an alley (short cut & very safe) however we noted when we took taxis back to the villa, they were not aware of this alleyway and would go all the way around to get to the villa which was usually double the price. We would recommend to take note of one of the shops next to the alley entrance and get dropped off there then walk back to the villa. Save yourself some $'s.

Staff were very friendly. Villa was beautiful and clean. They light mosquito coils every day which is great. Pool was lovely!

We booked our villa with breakfast which is highly recommended. Big selection of brekky menu which included 2 drinks (juice smoothie + coffee/tea), starters (cereal/fruit platter), main breakfast meal and a side meal (toast+jam). The hotel also provides complimentary high tea!!! Simply call front desk and they will bring the high tea to your villa (starts at 3pm).

There is also complimentary airport pick-up/drop-off and shuttle service. Just make sure to phone in advance so they can advise their driver. We tried to use it once however their driver was stuck in traffic (there's traffic everyday) but that was our fault as we called with no notice.

Thank you for the great stay. We will be back :)

Quiet privacy and exclusivity in noisy seminyak

These villas are superbly designed for comfort and privacy. High walls, large sliding doors opening up to the pool, and and amply sized plunge pool were among the features that surprised us and lulled us into relaxation while the noise of crowds of seminyak were left at the door. We booked it thinking we would be able to have a comfortable room while exploring seminyak, but ended up spending most of the time exploring the comfort of the room instead.
The breakfast was extremely generous, and anything we wanted was brought to our room, and the free sodas and other small offerings were a pleasant touch.
And as annoying as our request could be, the staff were always smiling and willing to accommodate.
Would recommend to all.

The staff were so sweet and lovely. The food was really nice, great portion sizes. We had heaps of bottled water supplied each day that we didn't have to buy any. The pool was clean and so much fun to play in or relax next to. The massages at the spa were also very good. I highly recommend the alove vera one if you are sunburnt as it takes the heat and redness away. Overall it was fantastic and I would return again.

We were on our honeymoon when we atayed over at seminyak icon. Everything from the room to their service was perfect. The staffs were extremely polite and smiling throughout our stay there. Greeted us on the phone or whenever they see us.

Our breakfast was served in our villa and it was promptly sent. Tho the variety wasn't very wide but there's choices u can choose from.

Location wise, it was okay but the villa was all the way in and when u're out on the streets, there are not alot of souvenirs shops around.

Other than the location, everything was perfect.

Okay... but not great

A bit confused by so many \"fantastic\" reviews about Seminyak Icon. It's nice but then, there are a lot of nice villas in Seminyak. The photos on the website are 'real' and represent the villas well, but you don't realise how small the villas are until you live in them... and there are some annoying design faults. Others have mentioned the fact that you have to go out of the living area and through the bedroom to the bathroom, as well as the air conditioner in the living room not really being up to the challenge in hot weather. These things do annoy after a couple of days. For me, the villas felt pokey and a bit claustrophobic after a while. Things like the toilet seat being less than 30cm from the glass wall of the shower (careful you don't head butt the shower standing up!) and the dining room table being just big enough for a laptop and a cup of coffee... dinky.

Good villa hotel , not like a regular hotel atmosphere , but very good service , very helpful staff and on hand for for guest needs.
Location is not proper , far from the beach and general shops and restaurants but hotel car is available for drops.Also they have a complimentary airport pick-up.
