A nice, clean large room with very good a/c. The bathroom was comparable with more expensive hotels/resorts. There was a kettle, mugs, sachets of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. Unfortunately there wasn't a fridge. Family rooms do have a fridge. The breakfast was good and had a wide range of food.

We stayed for 7 days, as a family(myself wife, our son wife) during June'24. Very happy indeed.
Very closed to the amenities, walk distance to Seminyak square-shopping area, different of choice restaurants culinaries. Recommended Made Waroeng restaurant at Seminyak square, two chinese restaurant at Jl.Sunset Road,5 minutes walk from Fave hotel Seminyak(excellent home made noodles chopped chicken cooked in sweet soya sauce - \"Mie Ayam\").,at a very reasonable price/Rp.45.000 - Rp.60.000 per bowl. A bitt of inconvinience with the parking space..but the hotel staff were excellent in service, especially the restaurant staff(the most helpful ,polite and friendly). We will definetely to stay here again. Keep it up with the service🙏

Truly great stay far exceeding my expectations. I got this place for a bargain price and expected very little. I was greeted by lovely staff and entered into a spotless room with plenty of space and amenities. The pool looked great and even the breakfast far exceeded my expectations. The value is absolutely unbeatable, rooms are clean and rather nice, but facilities are very basic, breakfast is bare-bones and don't expect a selection of pastries - you'll get some nasi goreng with no protein, some other very Asian stuff (by breakfast standards I mean) and dry bread slices for a toast (I couldn't get their ancient toaster to work either). But the staff is REALLY NICE, and again - value is unbeatable, so I will stay here again.

Good hotel. Nice service. The only minor thing was that I ordered food and explicitly asked for non spicy dish and got spicy one. Next time time I called and focused attention of staff on prevous time experience and asked 3 times to make sure it is not spicy. Got my chicken with pieces of red peper right on top of that :)
It was tasty but very spicy and that wat i tried to avoid after recent bali belly.

Overall for price really good hotel, about 10 mins walk from main action, which is good and bad. Rooms are very small, however serviced daily. Breakfast is inconsistent with menu, however always plenty of food. Everyone friendly. If I want cheap I’d definitely go there again 😊

Great staff but poor management

The noise of music in lobby was unbearable from the time we checked in , to every morning at 0645am starting to ending at 2100hrs. Bang bang bang very loud, bass to the roof. Complained each day , but each day same. All young staff working so no one is responsible. Staff are v polite and helpful though. Also room bed and pillows specially were not comfy. Glasses in room unclean and bad smell from sink. It’s a great location though , probably good for teens who are looking for partying everyday. Good Indonesian breakfast for 40k & they have a little mini mart attached to hotel which is v convenient. Walking distance to all good shopping.

The worst experience it was more like a backpackers accomodation, cheap plastic furniture, no fridge to cool drinks in room small window leading out to dirty vacant block with cows, no breakfast food that catered for westerners. Tiny dining area as you walk in foyer with cheap plastic chairs. Small pool around dining area no seperate area for swimming and privacy. Loud banging doors at night keeping you awake. I could not stay there and was out of pocket as I had to pay for better accommodation. Would never recommend and have put in a formal complaint to wotif. This should not be advertised on site as a holiday resort it was my worst experience it is certainly not a resort.

I booked this hotel to use for several hours before a late flight out as the villas we had been staying at could not provide a late checkout. The room was used to store luggage and shower before the flight.
I would not stay overnight here, the bathroom was dirty.

Very pleased with this hotel - especially with their staffs, they were very friendly and helpful and have made my stay a lot better. The room on its own is not very big but have enough space for two people to spread out a bit but not plenty of room if you have plenty of luggages. The hotel has a lot of Asian guests and they seem to have big groups of them staying from a tour group and can be very loud in the early morning and late at nights. So I wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers as the air conditioning could be a little loud too. The cafe downstairs also offers very good and cheap food and can even have it delivered to your room at no extra costs. Overall was very pleased with my stay and won’t blame the hotel for noisy guests.

Stayed for a night in the family room. Basic room with clean sheets and bedding, complimentary bottled water, slippers, toothbrush and hand/body soap. Room had poor TV reception. The hotel spa massage was surprisingly the best out of the 3 massages I had during my trip.

Great facilities for a 3 Star Hotel and good location. Being on a busy road I thought it might be noisy, but it wasn't road traffic that was noisy, it was the other guests! Walls were paper thin so when they wanted to party (or even talk loud) I was woken. Don't know how the guest with small children coped.

Hotel room was lovely and clean but surprised there was no kettle or fridge but may I haven't stayed in a 3 star hotel before and that's normal.

Food was great and staff were awesome.

This hotel was a real treat and kind of a surprise. 1/4 the price for a very so-so location. I do mean so-so. 100% not a great location. BUT the room is great. The tv was huge. Everything you expect from a chain hotel but at a great lower price. I've stayed at many many hotels. I would definitely stay at this one again. I don't mind the meh location when the room is as good as it is. It was a very pleasant surprise. I paid way more for way less while in Bali. I will add the pool is tiny, the food is not the best, not the worst, but its definitely worth the stay. Get in a taxi and go wherever you want. I would 100% stay here again. The room was worth well worth the meh location. Also its just down the street from a famous BBQ Rib place, which i didn't feel had the best ribs in bali like others say, but it was really good none the less. I recommend it to anyone looking for a lower price place with high quality rooms. ACTUALLY this is the only place on our entire trip that even had a sign letting you know the water coming from the sink is not safe (of course we knew that but still nice to be warned not everyone knows). If all favehotels are like this they will get my business any return trips to indonesia. If you're looking for a place to swim and relax, this isn't it. Still good though.

Very basic hotel for you to shower and sleep

Value for money is the right thing to say about Fave. For such price you can't really expect anything more. If you have stayed in Tunes Hotel, it's basically similar - you get the basics. No hair dryer provided in the room. I checked in really late at 2.30am and checked out in the morning.

Pros:
1) 24 hours reception counter, we checked in at 2.30am with no issues. You just need to email the hotel and inform them earlier.
2) Friendly staffs - really friendly front desk and they have the always willing to help attitude. Very good
3) Very reasonable rates for basic stay

Cons:
1) Rooms need refurbishment. At least repaint the rooms and walls along the hall way - it looks really worn out.
2) Bathroom water goes down really slowly. What's the point of having rainshower kind of pressure but the water doesn't go down that fast.
3) Walls are super thin - if you're staying for a long time you may have sleep issues.
4) Because the walls are so thin, why have renovation works early in the morning at 8.30am???? Drilling sound started way too early - if it was 11am onwards it probably wouldn't bother me that much.

Then again, I'm glad this was a one night stay, and it's fit for a one or maximum 2 night stay. It's a place for you to shower and go, not a place for you to stay in the room. Nevertheless, their staffs have the five-star hotel attitude. Good job!

Economical room with quick access to Seminyak

Great value with easy access to Seminyak area and also the airport. Easy choice to stay here again if I am in Bali and looking for an inexpensive hotel with proximity to Seminyak. There is a convenience store located within the hotel property and a phone store located a short walk away - easy place to pick up a local SIM card. I did not have lofty expectations given the low price but I found the property to be quite pleasant.

Hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly, very little English/American food on breakfast buffet and hotel is a fair walk from town beach however we managed to hire mopeds from the hotel for 70K for 24 hours which was perfect! Great choice of TV channels. Would stay here again.

We found bed bugs during the first night of our stay. We called reception and they were prompt to respond by sending us immediately to a different room and fumigating the other room immediately the next day. Unfortunately, this made the remainder of our stay very uncomfortable. Staff during breakfast only spoke to you and offered their services when the manager was around, which was on the last day of our stay. If they had provided the same service when she wasn't around, it would have improved our visit after the incident on the first night. Overall, could use some improvement as there is potential here. I can tell Merry the manager is a fantastic lady and strives to make the place the best, she just needs her staff on her side.

Perfect for my quick stay

I spent two nights at Fave hotel while attending dental appointments nearby. My room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a strong smell of smoke, which got better after I opened the window. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a great massage at the hotel spa.

Great basic hotel was very clean with friendly and helpful service. Within walking distance to restaurants, markets and boutique clothes and art stores in Seminyak and only about half hour walk to the beach. The pool is nice to cool off after being out in the heat all day. Highly recommend if you want to be close to the Seminyak action but without the hefty price tag and are planning to spend your days/nights out and about. If you're looking for a hotel to sit by the pool drinking cocktails this hotel won't be for you, but was perfect for us to come back to each night after a long day out in the heat. Taxi usually cost us around $5 (aud) to Seminyak Beach and about $10-$15 to Kuta.

This was a great hotel that catered was priced right for a budget minded week in Bali. The breakfast included was chartered to western tastes which was a real plus for me. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were well prepared and priced right!. The location was a let down for me. I little far from any real entertainment options and a bit of a trek for good shopping.

Ari (manager, not the bell boy, although he was nice too) was amazing, made us feel welcome, valued and we felt like friends. The hotel has a great pool, with a bar next to it so you don't have to get out to get a drink, breakfasts were good, not quite restaurant quality but for what is effectively $2.50 rack we were satisfied every morning. Fast Wifi, rooms well serviced. For us it was a good central base for our Bali adventure, we started there, went to Ubud for a night, came back and then went to Uluwatu. Fave was excellent for the price, and SUPER awesome once you factor in Ari, he had great local knowledge he was more than happy to share, told us where to go, how to get there, which taxi service we could trust, made sure we had everything we need. If you stay at Fave, make sure you befriend Ari (it's not hard, he'll befriend you!). It's not all about Ari though, ALL the other staff were super friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed and looked after by all the staff :)

My stay was ok just that the taxi waiting at the hotel sucks. They didn let me call the cab or what and must use their taxi in which I feel a bit offended at first as first time to Bali. Anyway, after taking a cab back to the hotel from the town and understand that they can still call cab, was a bit relief. The next day call cab and go airport. If not sure get slaughtered again.

Fairly cheap with good service!

Though some staffs didn't speak very good English but were very friendly and helpful. We paid low rate but got very good service and they cleaned the room everyday. Chinese tourists gathered around on the ground level sometimes and can be very noisy and leave a mess but they cleaned up very quickly. One of the security guys told us every information we need including yoga studios, beaches, routes for running, and good traditional food venues. Will definitely recommend friends to stay here.

Loved my stay at Fave Hotel!

Absolutely loved the staff, extremely helpful and friendly. We paid extra for the buffet breakfast and we couldn't be happier. Great variety of food which was tasty and fresh. Our room was clean and tidy and everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

The hotel is good for the price. Only 2 drawbacks:

1) The wifi signal is very weak and I could barely use the internet in my room
2) There were a lot of guests who came in families (big groups) who occupied the pool constantly, making it difficult for anyone else to use it.

Nice hotel the staff are so super friendly

Easy to stay. Breakfast was awesome. Staff are fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel offers massage at a great price and the girls are so friendly.

Smoking smoking smoking everywhere.
Great employees but the smoking is terrible.
THis is a great hotel ruined by smokers.
The fantastic pool is next to the restaurant. Therefore smoking when eating, smoking with the kids.
The hotel stinks of smoke.
This is not the place for a non-smoker.
A newer Fave hotel investment ruined by smokers...foolish!

Great hotel for your money

I had a good two-night stay here. Nice view of the city from my room and nice array of satellite channels if you like the telly. Food is terrible. Breakfast isn't so good and pizza is awful. They just chuck loads of bad mozzarella on top and hope for the best. Best you go elsewhere for food. It's about 15 minutes cab ride from the nightlife which can be annoying if the cabs won't turn on the meter. Just don't pay more than 50k to take you to Seminyak beach area. Other than that, great hotel for the money.

The breakfast was horrible. We didn't eat on the second morning - was a waste of time. Seems as though the cateirng is for Asians not Western/Australian/New Zealand. Positioning of the pool was awkward (in the same area as the dining room). Was a hazard having the pool in the dining room if we walked from the pool to our room via the lift - water was left on the floor so others could have potentially slipped. The room was tiny. No refrigerator in the room so we couldn't enjoy cold chilled water. You could hear everything that was happening outside your hotel room. The quality of the linen was terrible. Location wise, was very far away from the main strip in Seminyak. We actually checked out early and went and stayed in Kuta.

Cheap clean hotel

What can I say £15 a night for two of us. Happy staff great wifi and cheap bar snacks etc.
We have extended for a few more days as its so clean and happy!
Rooms are small but enough to chill and the a/c works great and is lovely when you get in. Top tip ask for 2 keys and leave one in the room so it's freezing when you walk in 😎😎
