Very spacious room, tv looks like 75 inch at least in my room, customers who book grand floor will have pool directly from room, is very cool. Nice clean water in the pool, Close from hotel few pubs and restaurants. At general very nice hotel

Little hidden gem staff lovely rooms very spacious & same level as pool, pool was excellent very clean, air con wasnt great could had asked to be moved but loved our room. About 20 walk into town or uber $1.50. Lovely hotel

I’ve stayed in several hotels in Semenya, but I think this one will likely be the place that I go to when I am in this area. Everything is great! Staff is superb! Breakfast is cooked to order asuperb! Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh. Saya suka!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! All the staff including security were so helpful and kind. Nothing was ever to much trouble. Beautiful hotel, quiet, clean, we felt safe and breakfast was delicious! Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Overall, my stay was good. The only problem is their non-refundable booking policy. Since my original flight was cancelled, my original hotel booking was not refunded. I had to rebook another flight and rebook my hotel stay at this same location- paid twice for a week! Since I rebooked with them, they could’ve made an exception to honor the cancellation and/or given a partial refund.

Needless to stay, the property itself is very quiet, but there’s only 1 restaurant nearby. The neighborhood is sketchy to walk around, but if you stay on the property you’ll be fine. The breakfast is made-to-order so don’t expect buffet style. Next time, I will probably stay in a more desirable area.

Stayed at d’Penjor Hotel for 10 nights. Lovely hotel with everything you need. Wont be staying here again for a couple of different factors, breakfast was very average and had a packed of cigarettes go missing from our room while out for the day.

All rooms on upper floor have balcony overlooking the swimming pool. In the room, water pressure from bathroom tap is low in the morning....need to improve on this.

A little oasis of calm in busy Seminyak. Quiet and very plesant stay. Lovely staff. Some aspects of the room were looking a little tired (worn chairs on balcony, under-sheet on bed had a hole in it), but otherwise the room was generally okay. Not too bad for the relatively affordable price. The only downside to the quiet location - is you will have to walk 15 mins to get to most of the main Seminyak restaurants, but there are a few good local options nearby.

Very close to everything you would need. The staff go way beyond to ensure your holiday time is just that your holiday. They really do spoil you. The security guards are so efficient opening gates and carrying bags opening car doors to assist too. I will definitely come back to stay here and throughly recommend. You cannot go wrong staying here. 1st time in Seminyak staying. 4 times Sanur and 8 times Nusa Dua.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful pool area and super friendly staff. Good breakfast and really comfortable room. Only downside was the door to the room rattling with the wind and waking us up, plus the room wasn’t very soundproof so noise from the street was a bit annoying.

Staff were brilliant, so very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Nice hotel clean, very quite, nice pool and lounge area.
Only problem was no room service for food and restaurant as no staff, if you want lunch have to order at breakfast and if you want dinner you have to order at lunch time.
Breakfast was good and had a selection of choices, but you have to order the night before.
But all in all a good hotel and brilliant staff

I just left the d’Penjor after a 6 night stay. I love this place. It is quietly located on the island with a short walk to the centre of Seminyak. We stayed on the ground floor front room next to the pool. So it was great to relax in front of your room by the pool. I can say all of the staff from the front security, reception to the maintenance man are excellent and helpful to your needs.I highly recommend this place and will be staying again.

Main issue is you are cut off a bit, it’s not in Seminyak, it’s over the road and to cross the road is to dice with death.

My biggest issue is people smoking, it drifts into your room, you can’t sit on the balcony and you have to hide away if there is a smoker near by, they should make it none smoking everywhere

Not child friendly.

Need a car, bike or taxi to just do a short distance.

d'Penjor is a very nice hotel. The pool is great and the staff are wonderful. The room is HUGE, which is actually part of the problem. The air conditioner can only be used when in the room, but it is so big that it takes a while for the room to reach a comfortable temperature. The air con is also right above the bed, which most know can cause congestion.

The breakfast is ok, but having tried breakfasts offered in other local hotels, the offerings were a bit subpar. It's also an ok location, but if you plan to walk back to the hotel at night, be prepared to battle with rats. big ones. not the hotel's fault at all, and this is surely a problem for any hotels off the main roads, but something to keep in mind. I don't think this is a bad place at all, but I would want to try something else, possibly smaller just so I could cool down from the excrutiating heat of Bali

We stayed 5 nights here in room 222. Could have given excellent rating due to cleanliness, friendly staffs, good breakfasts, comfortable room size etc.. but ..
1. Toilet basin water tap very stiff and unpleasant noise when turned on
2. Toilet sliding door will automatically slide open if not locked probably due to weight. It cannot be half opened. Quite scary initially.
3. No additional water bottle though did not consume all in the first two night and when needed more water had to pay for the water. If I knew it earlier, would have kept for future if not consumed.

Very good small hotel. Clean spacious room and bathroom. Nothing too much trouble for the staff even to booking a trip you would like to do or organising a driver for a few hours or just a taxi. Breakfast cooked to your liking each day with a call to your room 10 minutes before breakfast is ready so that it is as fresh as it can be. Would recommend this hotel and use this hotel again.

This hotel is comfortable and clean. The room I large but quite dated and I would recommend they updated the linen. My bathmat was torn which I really think was disappointing. The rooms are big but a little dark. The pool area and the exceptional service from staff would get me back and it's a good location.

Overall is a good hotel. It felt safe since there’s a security at the gate 24/7. The ladies at reception are very helpful, polite, kind, always smiling and ready to serve the guests with even the smallest things.
Some setbacks on my experience: the sun doesn’t hit the pool, so there’s sun only in one side of the sunbeds. The pressure of my shower was not so good, and the room smelled a bit old. Although very clean, the housekeeping would come every day. There could be more variety for the breakfast.
The balcony is a plus, so you can dry your clothes.
The hotel is not in the main road, you have to walk like 15, 20 min to reach the center. Or take a cab, and it will cost you around 2usd only. The ladies at the reception would help us to order a taxi as well.

They had a patience with explaining everything about surrounding, taxis, shopping, restaurants etc. When I complained about towels not being 100% clean, they straight away gave us a new ones.
The room was cleaned every day perfectly.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days with my husband and kids and we just loved this hotel so much! First of all, the staff is super friendly and they are constantly cleaning the property! The rooms and the pool are very well maintained. Breakfast is wonderful, I ordered fresh juice with omelette and the banana pancaje is to die for....when I return to Bali, I will definitely stay At d’penjor again. If you want to be spoiled, this is the hotel for you!

We really appreciated that very friendly and helpful staff. The property itself is set in a quite area which was nice to return to after a busy day. The drivers provided for airport transport and private hire were well worth it and again very helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely.
The only thing that could be improved is the linen which was a bit tired (a few rips and thinning).

We booked D’Penjor based on others reviews and we can say they were true to their word. Fantastic hotel, great location no more than a 10 min walk or $1.50 cab ride to Seminyak main areas. The staff were amazing so friendly and the service was fantastic, we were 3.5 hours late due to flight delays and finally arrived at 1am, the manager had waited for us and took time to explain everything and show us to our room. Breakfast was freshly made every morning not buffet, with lots of options, Asian, European or American. You can sit in the dining area or around the pool, great setting very tranquil. Every evening when we returned the room it had been fumigated for mosquitoes, the bed turned down and there was bottles of water waiting. This hotel was faultless, we had a superior room on the ground floor opened straight out to the pool, with sun loungers, table and chairs wiater service available for food and drinks all day. The staff could not do enough, they were so friendly, all spoke good English and always on hand to help. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends and would happily stay again.
