We stayed two nights and booked two rooms, spending over $1,600 before food and other expenses. Father’s
day weekend in June 2026. Traveling with a 20 week pregnant wife.

The room condition was disappointing. Both rooms had dusty surfaces, dirty telephones, and black debris/backflow coming from sinks, bathtubs, and shower drains. We took photos because it was noticeable in both rooms.

Food options on property were surprisingly limited. Service at Rita’s Cantina was very slow, and the food quality across the resort felt average at best considering the price point.

The housekeeping, room maintenance, and dining experience need improvement. For the rates being charged, I expected better attention to cleanliness and overall guest experience.

It’s a nice place but what I didn’t like was that they didn’t tell me WiFi was only available for free for the first 24 hrs I called them nobody really knew what was going on they could have said that when checking in , also I was charge $37.98 using WiFi and there movie service which I never did so I had to dispute it … I won’t be staying here again it was ok for a one time thing.

The Good:
Overall, the pricing at Harrah's Resort is quite reasonable for what you get. We spent Saturday at the pool and rented a cabana, which was a great experience and highly recommended if you want a dedicated spot to relax.
The Bad (Check-In Issues):
The biggest headache of the trip was the check-in process. The front desk staff seemed pretty new and untrained. I paid for a non-smoking room with two beds, but they initially assigned me a room with only one bed. When I pointed this out, the staff showed a major lack of communication between one another. They offered me two options to fix it: a smoking room with two beds, or an accessible room with two beds. I chose the accessible room and stepped away.
When I came back later to finally get the room, the ball had been completely dropped. Nobody seemed to have a solution, and the staff kept running back and forth trying to figure out what happened. It took far too much back-and-forth just to get the room type I originally paid for.
The Pool Service:
While the cabana itself was good, the poolside service was incredibly understaffed for a busy Saturday. It looked like they only assigned two waiters to our entire section. Because they were so overwhelmed, the service was really slow, and we ended up having to walk up to the actual bar ourselves multiple times just to grab a drink.
Final Verdict:
It’s a nice resort with fair pricing, but management desperately needs to improve staff training at front

Very nice hotel room, it looks new and updated. The casino has plenty of machines and tables to gamble. The pool area is big with several pools and jacuzzis. They also have a lazy river.

Nice hotel! The dive room was nice. The only bummer part was the early morning noise from the gardener blowing the leaves that woke us up. The view from the room was nice and especially at night with the lights in the trees were very pretty. I do wish they wouldn’t allow smoking at the pool in the areas. When you want to get away from the smoke from inside and then poolside you can’t due to people smoking so much.

We arrived right at check-in time at 4:00 and were informed that our room wasn't ready, despite having already paid for the room and arriving at the check-in time. Of course this was frustrating, but they had the room ready before I finished the check-in process. Then we went to the room and when we tried to rent a movie (at the cost of $30!) for our children to watch with their babysitter while we went downstairs to a concert (the entire reason we went there) and it wouldn't let me rent a movie, saying that I wasn't checked in. I cashed the front desk and was told I needed to come downstairs to deal with it. So I did, and stood in line... again. They couldn't resolve the issue, so I changed rooms, which was also incredibly frustrating. Lastly, of course it's a casino, but it smelled so badly of cigarettes and one of the elevators was broken, making getting up and down between the floors incredibly time consuming. For $330 for one night, I would've expected much better.

Amazing clean room, from the valet to the bell desk it was amazing check in was easy they combined our stay and the pool and food at the pool was amazing the waitresses at the pool bartenders were fantastic and the people enjoying my themselves made it that much more fun!! However the cafe was horrible the food sucked both nights and service was not good!!! But overall amazing trip

Lackluster and far away. I expected more amenities and more for the money. Room was not clean. The best thing about the whole property is the lazy river. The cost of amenities is high. Cabana for 500-1000 dollars (soda, water and chips/salsa. The restaurants close early and not enough bars to handle the influx of guests with events. Disappointed.

We arrived at 2 PM and we checked in. We were told a room would be ready for us shortly. We waited two hours and finally checked back with the front desk at 4 PM which was check-in time we were told there were still no rooms available and no estimation on when one would be available. We then asked to speak to a manager. We requested a total refund and we were told that since we booked through a third-party, they could not issue one. They finally got us into a room, but our afternoon was ruined as we had intended to spend it by the pool before going to a comedy show that evening. Overall, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Normally, we’re able to check in early or at least on time at every hotel we stay at. We will not be staying here again.

The room that I had was level with the roof of a section of the hotel and from 8:00am-till afternoon construction was being performed listening to them yell whistle using their impact gun tools all day. And on the second night in the middle of the night I was woken up by a huge spider crawling on my neck

The room was very clean, but no complementary water was provided in the room. My first night 4/28 I went to purchase a cocktail and play at the bar (the bar that has the sports room attached). I sat down made eye contact with the bartender. He did not come over he proceeded to take not just one order but numerous orders of customers that just came to the bar way after me. He knew I was there but never took my order. I ended up leaving and going to only other bar that was open. I’m sure you can look on your cameras and verify the incident. Never have I been treated so rudely and for no reason. We had massages on 4/29 wonderful staff and Lupe is absolutely amazing. Dinner at Hells Kitchen was wonderful and the staff was A+.

21st floor. Broken window. Full blown jump to your death room.
Liars and Zombies are your hospitality. No smiles. No answers. No resolutions. No food. No water. If you like cigarettes and trash in your pool, YOULL love it. No service. Closed bar. The worst hospitality I have ever seen and I’m a professional.

I got to the hotel early at 1:30 room wasn’t ready yet they was suppose to send me a text or call me to let me know it was ready and they never did. You have to pay for WiFi because it’s not included at all. Lastly they did a fire alarm earlier in the morning which went on for 45 minutes straight did let customers know early in advance what they were doing. I will never stay here again ever it terrible

I honestly expected more the moment I got their valet people were rude, took my nieces and my mom expecting the pool experience to be a little bit. More fun for kids not only is the bar and food area far from where the kids section is no one ever approached us to take our order. I had to physically get up, having my niece to help me and for her to get in trouble for my worker saying this is a 21 or older area, but I obviously I needed someone to help me with the food
Other than that, the restaurants in the casino weren’t the best. We wanted to have a nice dinner, but they all closed earlier than we expected.

The rooms are noisy. You can hear neighbors closets squeaking and closing during the night. DO NOT let your kids in the jacuzzi. They are over chlorinated the kids and adults were coughing from the gases and staff didnt care. They said they couldnt do anything about it. The restaurants and play are good if you are not staying the night.

Not good for elderly senoirs. The beds are too high. The floors are slippery. My sink got clogged. The showers didn't drain. No coffee pot in rooms as advertised. Room smelled like smoke in a non smoking section. I asked for a room close to elevators and not on higher floors. It was hard on my elderly parents. The staff was great though. Kids screaming in the hallways at night. Kids throwing up in the pools. Not relaxing at all. Good for single people and young families.

We’re not able to check- in till after 5pm, was too late for pool they close at 7 pm , got charged for a pool view and didn’t get that, only got Mountain View.. requested North Tower staff said was sold out, put us in Dive_IN area at very end.. was a lot of noise all night long, in the shower the conditioner contact didn’t work.. was not very happy this time…

We came here specifically for the pool, of course it was completely packed with nowhere to sit/ leave a towel, and the adults only area was the only place available however you cannot sit over there with kids. Too crowded not enough chairs for the people that stay in there.
The room was spacious and clean, and the food was actually really good at all the restaurants we went to. We will definitely come back just not during spring break and maybe without kids lol

It was our first time there and it will not be the last. It's a great little getaway for the weekend and not so far drive from Long Beach. We only wish they had a Good Steakhouse to Accommodate so we didn't have to leave the Casino for one about 10 minute drive up the road.

Room was ok, a little dusty, I by mistake booked smoking instead of nonsmoking, the staff at the check did not help in any way to try in place me and my kids in a nonsmoking room stating that is what I booked, didn't even bother to check if it could be changed. I did like that the room had a window I could open so that helped a little.

Pool area is kind of small where the kids are allowed, not a lot of seating area unless you are renting a cabana or a day bed, absolutely no outside food is allowed, I was trying to bring my kids fruit to snack on and that was not allowed.
Other than that we had a great time. No parking fees or resort fees.
