As a pedestrian, I had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel. It is on the 8th floor in the corner of a large building. Better signage around the building would help. It is in a convenient area near the main railway station and not far from the old town area.

The rooms are cheap but adequate. I did see a little cockroach in the bathroom but otherwise OK. The shower tap broke off when I tried to use it, but they had someone quickly come to the room to fix it.

The only problem I had with the room was the odd configuration of the lights. They couldn't be turned off completely without turning off the air-conditioning as well.

The breakfast was good and there were drinking water machines in the hallways

The hotel staffs are very friendly. Its just opposite the police station and Clinic. Lobby is located at 8 floor and below is a Trade centre shopping mall which sell alot of commerical Heavy machinery.

The hotel abit run down. the door does not close tight. it will only close tight when you need some force to slam the door which make a lot of noise and will disturb the rest of the guest staying there.

Location is not so ok. Historical landmarks are at least 1km away, shopping center is for technical stuff not like normal shopping center.

About cleanliness towels and sheets were dirty. Everyday we got dirtier towels. There was dead cockroache in room and after 1 night room service didn't clean that up. Under bed were bottles and plastic.

The hotel and service okay. AIR CONDITIONING not okay. Reception okay. Toilet small. A big size guy will find it extremely difficult because no place to move when sitting on the commode. The hotel is in the 8th floor of a condominium. Lift available and good. Daily room cleaning.

location is central but the condition of the hotel and rooms are way below expectations . not sure what kind of customers would like to stay there . i was advised by my customer to stay in the mangga area and i choosen it . i don't think i will stay there again and the rooms and hotel looks cheapskate .

The room was probably about 21 m sq. Nice bathroom and inside the bathroom there is a separate shower room with door. Hot water worked very well. Water pressure and volume were working well. The hotel was located on top of Glodok LTC so the hotel is from levels 8 to 10. The rooms were on levels 9 and 10. In the middle and outside of floors 9 and 10 there were imitated parks and gyms (with table and seats). On each floor, there were several sofas usually located near the lifts and the main stairs (since there were many stairs). Each floor was huge. To imagine how huge it was, two floors equal about 200 rooms so in average 100 rooms a floor + the parks to put the unit air conditioners of each room to do the maintenance + the sofa sections + gyms.

Lunch buffet everyday was 45000 Rupiahs per person. It is useful for people who come to the hotel at 12 and have to wait for 2 hours to come inside the hotel room. Breakfast included in the room was about 40000 rupiahs each but if not included must pay 66000 Rupiahs. Too many guests at the hotel made the breakfast experience very bad: couldn't even get eggs and toasted breads, queueing, etc. Lunch buffet was good only 1-2 people there and cheaper too.
Glodok LTC from levels UG2, UG, G2, G, 1 to 7 had almost everything.
Outside the LTC and hotel, many prostitutes (Glodok is one of Jakarta's red light districts).
Close to go to Tugu Monas, Presidential Palace by Grab/Gojek.
Wifi not working.

Checking in was done swiftly. Room is clean with basic amenities in the toilet. Breakfast was ok but can improve as menus are almost similar daily.
TV channels and quality need improvements, as its limited with snowy receptions. Stains on corridor carpet needs to be clean and bed sheet and towels needs through inspections as mine has holes and stains.

Simple, no-frills hotel. Kudos!

Good:
Wifi in room.
Water dispensers located in the corridors.
Clean and bright. Very welcoming to guests.
Budget food options all around.
The city's public bus network's, TransJakarta, bus stop is only 5 minutes away.
Staff spoke good english.
Water pressure from the shower head is terrific.

Bad:
I've said this in my previous review many years ago and I shall say it again. They should have install hooks on the wall to hang clothes and what not. They do have a neat place for that just above the save, but I find it not that practical.

Disappointing Stay

The toilet pipe was leaking and the floor was constantly wet. The room was not cleaned and when I questioned the staff, the reply was I didn't inform them the need to clean by placing the instruction sign on the door! I was also locked out of the room after one night of stay .... I spent 3 times going up and down from my room to the counter to replace the card but still cannot open the door ... finally, I was being told that I haven't paid! Eventhouh the booking indicated clearly payment will be made upon check out! This is a disappointing stay for me ...

You shoud stay in Fave hotel LTC

Paid for S$25/night. I had a pleasant stay here. I order for non-smoking room, but I was given smoking room instead. Surprisingly, the room smells good. There was no trace of cigarette smell at all. I had a comfortable stay there. The shower area is big. Grohe brand. clean too.

8-10F @ LTC Glodok, facing jl. Hayam Wuruk. (While it is easier to access to the hotel zone from the other side of the building, just besides Familimart) Avoid trying to access the lobby with taxi as it will simply delay your arrival and ending up paying a bit more to your driver. Many restos, fast food shops around so you don’t have to worry about going to your bed starving.

Came here on a layover

After 20+ hours of traveling we came here to rest for a couple days. The hotel was nice and comfortable and definitely the best thing about Jakarta for us. Jakarta was a bit dirtier than we expected so we didn't really leave the hotel, which wasn't a bad thing because it was a nice hotel!

Well situated in Central Jakarta. Staff excellent.

I have stayed at this specific FaveHotel over 10 trips. Staff are thoroughly trained and helpful. Breakfast is fresh and has decent variety. Rooms are clean. Housecleaning is excellent. I also spent my birthday here and was surprised with a cake and song upon a late arrival at midnight. If the staff can assist you...they will to utmost of their ability.
I have traveled to over fifty countries...this hotel provides service with enthusiasm and genuine affection for their clientele that almost all the 5 stars I stayed at would be envious of.
A true five star experience for a REMARKABLE PRICE.

Staff performance are great, above expectation. However there are some parts need to improve.
Limited TV channels, Exhaust Fan in the bathroom is very noisy even though it was fixed by the technician and the clothes cabinet can't open wide due to the placement just behind the door.

Affordable room rate with excellent service!

Front desk greeting me with smile as I checking in late. Ordered in-room dining service and quite pleasant time to wait. My room was huge and comfortable bed. I think the pink small pillows need to wash regularly (I throwed it to the floor, sorry!). There are no kettle inside the room, but a water dispenser with hot and cold water easily find at main lift lobby. My call to frontdesk always helpful. I certainly will come back here either for business or leisure.

The ambience of the room was good and it was clean when I checked in.

It is convenience to get a taxi at the main door but if you keen to take walk, it will be hot because you have to pass through the car park to the lift as the hotel is located at level 8.

And the room temperature was not cold even the aircon set to 16 degree Celsius and you need to bring your own hair dryer.

By far the best Favehotel I have stayed. Almost Boutique style. seems like almost all rooms have windows / natural daylight - unusual for FAVE. Don't let you put off by the weird location on top of the ramshackle LTC Glodok Kompleks. rooms are clean and the Wifi works. Front desk efficent, the food in the Resto is affordable and good. Not too many food options around otherwise. For the low rates they offer, I will certainly be back. Transjakarta Bus to take you to downtown fast is at your doorstep

An unusual location, to get to it by car you have to go up 8 flights of a mall parking lot. On foot, you take an elevator from inside the mall. The mall, is specialized in technical, electrical equipment only. The neighborhood is also not of much interest.

The hotel itself has a 60s \"Austin Martin decor, almost a parody.But clean, comfortable, good service, decent restaurant.

Had our lunch and dinner at The Lime restaurant and i swear that the restaurant has no proper Chef!
We have to call the waitress a few times to get our order.
Ordered chicken grill and the chicken is not fresh.end up we didnt finish the chicken at all.So tempted to report this.
The seafood green curry is an insult to the palate.
Just boil some green curry powder and throw some frozen squid and fishcake.Thats it.What a shame.
Thank goodness it is connected to the LTC building where there is food court with awesome choice of food.

I hope the management take this matter seriously esp the restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay at Fave Hotel in Jakarta. My only issue was paying for Ice. Since there is no refrigerator offered. In such a hot country, you want something cold to drink. The charges add up quickly - and the thought of paying for frozen water just kills me.

This hotel is located at the eighth floor of building named Lindeteves Trade Center.
If you're driving,you can ask the receptionist to stamp the parking ticket to make it free of charge.

The room was clean and have nice ambience,the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.There were wi-fi connections and cable TV.
But,the elevators were quite small and the room numbering was quite confusing so it's look like a maze haha.

Overall I recommend this hotel for people that were on budget but still want the comfort.

URGENCY is the crux of the matter!

The hotel is located strategically near Glodok bus station and transportation to places is thus convenient. Hotel staff was helpful but need to understand the meaning of urgency. I made a personal booking for 2 taxis the day before but when the time came to get taxis at booking time, there were none but I got one eventually after much pestering. The second taxi came much later to my disappointment as I thought it was just behind mine. As a result my husband and 2 children in this taxi missed their train for Bandung. It affected our programme for the day at Bandung as we had to wait for their arrival 3 hrs later!

the hotel nearby the public transportation, easily to get the bus and taxi. u can find various local food and cheap seafood around the area. just a disappointed because not provided water heater in our standard room, we have to get the hot water from the dispenser near the lift, whereas our room quite far from there. the air conditional no well function, need maintenance. however, the room is clean.

Service was cold, they did the minumum and we didn't ask for anything special. The hotel is at the top of a mall that specilizes in indutrial equipment but the food court was good. Once outside the mall the sidewalks are almost ubearable. Cars honking, scooters whizzing by, and the sidewalks are really just a scooter parking lot.

It was terrible! The location of the hotel is somewhat strange, because it is on the 8th floor of a shopping center. You have to drive all the way to the 8th floor parking garage of the shopping center to get to the hotel. Lobby and other common areas of the hotel were unkempt. The room was not good at all. I requested a non-smoking room, and I had to sign a form to certify that I will not smoke in the room. I was happy to sign the form because I hate cigarette smoke. However, once I entered the room, I could smell very strong odor of cigarette smoke. Something about the hotel's ventilation system was not right. I suffered the entire night because of the smell of the smoke. The breakfast was equally terrible: food selection was poor, service was poor, and the entire ambiance of the dining room was equally poor.

Break into my annual agenda. At least once a year, we will spend some time on vacation to Indonesia.

Jakarta vacation destination that is always there in our list. But until now it was not to be yet.

A fun holiday. Respite from ordinary life we've been through, especially if living in the heart of Kuala Lumpur crowded. Visitors can expect to forget for a moment about the work there, the problem and relax the mind.

I'm also kind of like to go out from the city life to find peace. It will be a sense of relief last brains behind the holiday. Moreover we can see the place, the culture, history and way of life of people in different countries.
