Comfortable budget option close to city center

The room was clean and comfortable, what you would expect for a hotel of this level. Bed-sheets and mattresses allowed for a good rest; bathroom was simple (not very new) but shower was correct and with good water pressure. A solid option for budget travelers, whether you go for business or with the family.

Good downtown stay with little space

The location is good, near the Catholic University, the Musical Theater, and close to downtown. Breakfast is excellent with eggs cooked to order and a wide variety of other breakfast items. However the room is quite squished--two large bags and carry-ons barely fit--and the air conditioning is not occupant controlled.

Reasonable hotel in terms of room and good value for money. Negative is the large building site opposite where work started quire early the next morning. Positive is it is fairly close to the city centre, which was very nice on a Friday evening

Hotel Mercure highly recommended

This hotel is ideal for anyone visiting the Catholic University of Lublin, as it is right next door. This hotel is also very good. The breakfast is excellent. The receptionists are very helpful. Wifi worked, but was a bit slow.

Good hotel 20min walk from the Old Town

We arrived at 1 a.m. and were at first allocated a room on the 4th floor, when the receptionist saw my husband was disabled, she reallocated us onto the 1st floor. Unfortunately the room was not ready so we used another room for the first night - we moved into the correct room first thing in the morning. The hotel staff were all exceptional. After the first unfortunate night we were extremely pleased with our stay and the way we were treated. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Noisy room, no AC

Terrible experience. Although all rooms are indicated to have an AC, it is centrally controlled and is off when the weather is deemed to be cool. However, rooms are stuffy, and opening a window might not be an option if one wants to sleep late because of the noise from a nearby construction site (work starts at 7 AM). The inside noise is bothersome too -- heard the next door neighbors and the steps from above quite well, and the slamming of doors is very audible too.

not all reception staff friendly. menu not enough choice we had to eat same each time.. i booked 5 rooms 2 of which were put guests into rooms they knew were having problems with air condition..
next day they were moved rooms with other guests... not acceptably.

It was business trip. The room was ample, with free soaps, shampoons, and body creams and even tooth brushes and pastes (that is unusual at the hotels). Very good choice of TV channels who speaks or learns foreign languages. Promotion at the restaurant - free lamp of vine with a main course.

A bit of a walk to Old Town from cramped quarters.

The room was very small. It felt cramped for two people. The hotel colors were garish, in my view. The location was good for a couple who like to walk into the old town (about 1/2 mile). That was the closest option for breakfast or dinner unless we chose to eat at the hotel. The staff were nice.

This hotel gets everything right! Price was right for the excellent quality. Friendly desk staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. Convenient to buses to the central city. Short taxi ride from the train station. Superbly cleaned rooms. Comfortable beds in the \"superior\" rooms.

Modern, bright, clean and good value

This is a modern bright hotel near the university end of Lublin, but also within about 15 minutes walk from the old city. The restaurant served excellent fresh pasta (though the wallpaper music was, to my taste, awful), the room was smallish but very well equipped (including the toiletries), seemed newly done up, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. There is a gym, but I tend to used stairs in place of a gym. Reception and waiters were very pleasant. So very good all around, and for the price excellent.

We would stay here again!

Great experience! Great location in Lublin, close to downtown area. Rooms very clean, nice bathroom, good restaurant, good breakfast. Guarded parking lot (this is always a plus when you are traveling). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the Lublin area.

The hotel is clean and was updated significantly since my last stay.The buffet breakfast is excellent!!! The lunch/dinner menu is ok but the kitchen can be slow at times. Hotel is well located and has wi-fi and PC for guest use.

I do not recommend this hotel.

Long hairs remained on the wall of the shower room. A bottle cap ramained betwee the transparent plastic plates for hotel booklets on the desk in the room. BBC on TV did not work out. The room was cold, I could not sleep in the night. Elevator was old and did not move smoothly, thus is closed to be broken. A lady working at 5 p.m. of the first day and at 5 a.m. of the second day (same person) was nasty and never smiled. I have never seen such a nasty person working at the hotel reception desk. I stayed at the room # 523.

Great value, only a few minor issues.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, my only negatives would be that on day 1 we had to move rooms as they put us underneath the whole hotels aircon unit on the roof which meant loud banging from 6am for some reason, when we told reception they said were aware of the issue and will move us. (Why put us in there in the first place as we could not have put up with that for 8 nights) and secondly one of the receptionists (Blonde middle aged woman) was so miserable. There was a group of about 30 of us there for our friends wedding and the receptionist could have cracked a smile at least once. Other than that, great location, nice rooms for a cheap price.

Hotel Mercure Unia Lublin

This is one of the best hotel experiences that me and my wife have had. The staff was extremely courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, The restaurant attached to the Hotel had good food and a reasonably stocked Bar. The morning Breakfast was sumptuous.
We had the opportunity of living in a single room and a Suite.
For 2 Adults the room feels a little cramped, but for 3 adults the Suite with a queen sized bed and and a sofa in the living area that turns into a bed is just perfect. The living area can be separated from the bedroom with a partition door.
The building is comparitively new(I am guessing 8 to 10 years old) and very well situated.
As far as we are concerned the hotel deserves 5 stars.

Located next to the Marie Curie University. Reasonably priced nice tourist and business-class hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk down a main street to \"downtown/historic market square\" area. I have stayed here 2 times and it was very nice both times. Also has a good breakfast and helpful staff (even with my limited Polish - but thankfully they all speak English quite well).

Jedyny plus to położenie obiektu. I na tym koniec. Pokój nie był do końca wyposażony. Brakowało m.in. łyżeczek do herbaty. Pojemniki na mydło w łazience były prawie puste. Dodatkowo były problemy z parkingiem. Nie zostaliśmy uprzedzeni o zmianie miejsca parkowania i wyszło duże zamieszanie.

Funktionelt hotel lige i udkanten af byen, men ikke længere end ti minutters gang til centrum. Service var helt fint med hjælpsomme personale. Ok morgenbuffet og værelsets komfort niveau var over gennemsnittet.

Mały minus za obsługę, która w przypadku problemów miała trudności z podejmowaniem decyzji (na terenie hotelu został znaleziony luźno biegający pies i nie wiedzieli co z tym zrobić).

Hotel Mercure Lublin är ett bra hotell för en weekend i Lublin. Nära till gamla stan och Lublin Castle och till köpcentrumet Lublin Plaza. Rummet vi fick var en svit med två rum, kändes stort och bra. Frukosten var helt ok, det fanns det som behövdes. Maten på hotellet var över förväntan bra så vi åt där på kvällarna tack vare detta. Priset på maten var också bra. Inte alls dyrt. Vi kan rekommendera det här hotellet.

Komfortables Hotel in Stadtnähe mit sehr freundlic

Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und den guten Service genossen.

Schade nur, dass sich direkt angrenzend zum Hotel eine Riesenbaustelle befindet, die Lärm
und Dreck auf der Straße vor dem Hotel verursacht. Schade fürs Mercure, denn dieser
Bau wird die Aussicht vernichten...!
